I am so excited for this to come out on Cruncyroll! This was admittedly one of my favorite arcs in the Manga and after Book of Atlantic dropped, I was worried they might leave this out. But now, I'm fangirling so much and I can't wait!

(Another Kuroshitsuji request! This time with Grimm Reapers! Sorry but it's my favorite Anime!)Since there are probably Reapers from all over the world and not just London, what if there was some sort of exchange with the Reapers from different countries and a new Grimm Reaper will be temporarely joining the London Branch. They get paired to work with either Grell, Ronald or William (or they meet Undertaker somewhere in town). Everything is going well and Reaper and darling are getting along great. Eventualy they slowly start to develop a crush *cough*unhealthyobssession*cough, but now it's time for the darling to go back to their country. How would Reapers(separated) convince darling to stay with them?

Exchange reaper

Grell Sutcliff

🟥Grell isn’t very thrilled at first. She’s essentially degraded to your babysitter, a reaper who is new to London which means that she has to explain everything to you and be your guide since you have yet to memorize the design and the directions of the city. Not to mention that Grell likes to have a bit fun but with you there, risks are that you might report any uncalled for behavior to your superiors. The reaper is a bit huffy about the ordeal at first, slightly annoyed with you but luckily that doesn’t last long. Grell quickly becomes interested in you due to your different behavior. You have a different culture than her, have an accent and act not like others.

🟥It makes you more interesting and soon she finds herself asking you lots of questions regarding your home country and the traditions and beliefs you have there. Soon you two are basically seen everywhere together as Grell spends lots of time listening to your country and busily showing you London and it’s specialties when you two aren’t on a job. She’s so excited to show you the city she lives in and during jobs she’s your personal cheerleader. At one point she insists to go on missions together with you and gets incredibly jealous and irritated when you’re paired off with someone else. She’s incredibly obnoxious to your partner and pesters William to make you two partners again since she’s known you longer and for that works better together with you.

🟥The activities you two do together start feeling more like dates at one point. Cheesy scenarios such as sharing pastries together or Grell insisting for you two to wear matching accessories. Grell also becomes uncomfortably more touchy, hugs you a lot or clings to your arm randomly. She’s fawning over you and compliments you constantly for even small things. When she’s alone, she’s busily daydreaming about the time she spent with you and how warm your body felt when she was hugging you. Grell is literally acting like your personal fangirl by now.

🟥Her reaction is dramatic when she finds out that your departure is coming soon. She nearly faints and lays for a moment unmoving on the ground before she jumps up and clings to you, begging you to not leave her. Grell glues herself to your side more than she did so before as she tries to spend as much time with you as she can since the present threat of you leaving her lingers above her head. She’s begging William to let you stay, probably follows him on missions which annoys him enough that he snaps at her at one point. At the same time she tries to convince you to stay, guilt-trips you a bit with the time you two had together. Didn’t that mean anything to you? Grell knows that she can’t just kidnap you though since your absence would be investigated. If push comes to pull, Grell is stubborn enough to try to follow you back to your own country. She doesn’t care what her superiors have to say about that.

Ronald Knox

😃Ronald is amicable, tells you that he looks forward to working together with you for the time of your exchange. He’s from the get-go very interested and curious about the country you come from. Your accent sticks out in a way he tends to tease you for, not in an offensive way that is. It’s interesting to see how you’re curious and excited about the things that are mundane for him, highlighting the differences in culture. Differently from Grell he gladly plays the tour guide for you when you two have no work to do, shows you around and introduces you to his culture. Ronald likes chatting with you about your country and it’s traditions too, mentions that he’d be interested to see your home at one point too. You’re clearly excited about the prospect, tell him that if he ever becomes an exchange reaper in your homeland, you’ll gladly show him around too.

😃You two quickly become good friends and spend so much time together. Even whilst you two mingle among humans, people tend to confuse you for a couple. You just laugh it off together with Ronald at first. With time though, you notice how he becomes quieter when humans tell you that you two act like a couple. Instead he seems to observe you for your reaction. You don’t pay it too much mind though. Ronald starts squeezing himself between all sorts of interactions you might have with other reapers, often comes up with excuses to why you two have to leave now. Be that work or something he really wants to show you.

😃The male reaper becomes very flirty around you, often uses pick-up lines or makes cheesy comments. His darling might not see it as something unusual at first since Ronald has always been a bit of a flirt. The amount he tends to do it though becomes a bit worrying over time. When you two are under humans, he basically acts like your life partner and is most likely manipulative enough to search for ways where you two have to pretend to be a couple in order to mix in well. You’re slightly uncomfortable so Ronald is definitely careful to balance everything well out so that you don’t start avoiding him. He glares at someone if they try to flirt with you when you two are under humans but quickly eases up his tense facial expression when you look at him.

😃Ronald knows that you won’t stay here forever and that aspect fills him suddenly with a sense of dread he didn’t have before. You will leave some day and god knows when he’ll be able to see you again. He can’t kidnap you though, he’d be banished if the higher-ups would find out. So he has to convince you somehow to want to stay in here. He tries his best to charm his way into your heart or guilt-trip you into staying at least a bit longer so that he has a bit more time to come up with a plan. If nothing should work, he’d most likely go about it the same way Grell does. By transferring into your branch of reapers. He couldn’t bear the distance between you two, he’d rather do his overwork with you than without you.

William T. Spears

📒William isn’t very happy with the exchange program either but if that is what was decided, he just has to endure it. He’s a grim reaper who loves order and is a bit concerned that you might be a little trouble maker. He has his hands full with Grell already so he really hopes that you’re a efficient worker because otherwise he’ll have to do overwork to do which he dislikes greatly. Honestly, he’s so polite and distant due to wanting to be professional that he might come over as very cold in his darling’s eyes. He doesn’t enjoy smalltalk and is instead focused on his work with you. William spends time introducing you to the system and order of the reapers in London and shows you around the city so you can memorize all the routes.

📒He’s not interested in showing you the culture at first. He just works together with you and doesn’t use his free time initially up for you. Instead he works even more to finish everything in time. Eventually he warms up a bit to you and caves in to your pleas to show you some interesting places in London since it’s your first time in the city. You work hard enough, he supposes that he can reward you a bit by playing a tour guide. He basically gives you a historical rundown by showing you the architecture, the palace of the Queen and some cultural food of London. He has no interest in more fun activities like markets so you have to drag him there if you want him to tag along. He’s awkward though, stands there and doesn’t know what to do.

📒Somehow you two manage to grow close which is a bit of a surprise for other grim reapers since William is very focused on his work and formality. He’s like a grumpy cat around you at times, nags you when you forget to be on time and gets irritated when you slack off due to spending time in the human world. He still likes you and that makes you proud somehow. Until he suddenly pulls back one day and distances himself from you. You’re confused and a bit hurt, try to ask him what’s wrong only for him to brush you coldly off. So you decide to let it be even if you don’t know what’s going on. William on the other hand knows too well. He’s gotten attached to you, something that shouldn’t happen. Shinigami should focus on their work and not mingle with the topic of love. Especially not since you’re an exchange partner. You can’t stay forever.

📒William tries to push you away to get his feelings under control again, spends as little time as possible with you. Unfortunately all is for naught. He can focus even less, your pained expression due to his distant behavior painfully clenching his heart. He’s distressed, his emotions unable to cope with the knowledge that you’ll be gone soon. He can’t work like this anymore. After, somewhat reluctantly, accepting his feelings, William starts planning how to transfer you permanently to his branch. He has a higher position and uses that when talking to his own higher-ups as he lists the reasons why he thinks that you should stay in London.

Undertaker

⚰️He’s long retired from his official position as a reaper as the lifestyle of one has grown boring for him. So he doesn’t even know about the exchange program. You just happen to stumble upon his shop during your free time which you use to explore the city. Undertaker’s shop caught your eye due to it’s unique profession so you just thought to check it out shortly. Undertaker has hidden his true nature from other supernatural beings before so changes are that you don’t recognize him as a fellow shinigami. The same can’t be said from the other side though since Undertaker senses what you are quickly. He’s a bit suspicious but acts like nothing is wrong at first, instead behaving like his usual eccentric and goofy self.

⚰️He’ll entertain you for a while to find out what your intentions are. Undertaker is quick to notice that you’re not from here too, your accent and possible different skin complexion giving you away. That’s why he deduces that you might stay here for a limited time and when he asks you in a casual manner from where you are and what you’re doing here, you confirm this suspicion of his. You answer vaguely that you’re here to work for a while and he doesn’t get the feeling, that you’re lying. When he concludes that you don’t know who he is and really only came in here out of curiosity, he eases up and shows you around in his shop. You show interest in all the coffins and other things, question him about them too which makes him sort of giddy.

⚰️Undertaker isn’t sure if you’ll return but is pleasantly surprised when you come back. He stayed on your mind as you can’t help but find this unique man interesting. He invites you happily again and so you spend your free time again with this man. It becomes soon a common thing for you to visit Undertaker in his shop since you’re somehow drawn to him. You enjoy his company and vice versa, Undertaker himself finds your presence very brightening and fulfilling. You two don’t limit yourselves to the shop though, you two go out sometimes too. He sticks out but he doesn’t care and so you try not to care either, even if you’re occasionally embarrassed with the attention he draws to himself and by extension also to you.

⚰️His silly facade keeps you from realizing his growing interest in you. Small touches such as touching strands of your hair or caressing your skin with his fingers a bit. He’s aware that you’ll have to leave at one point and asks you at one point how long you’re going to stay. You answer him honestly without realizing that this is going to bite you back. Undertaker has a big advantage. He’s a rogue and his current whereabouts are unknown to other shinigami so he can easily just kidnap you. He plans on doing exactly that, unwilling to let you leave him. He can’t risk you escaping though since it would endanger his existence if other reaper would try to make him pay for kidnapping you. So he plans meticulously whilst making sure that you remain unsuspecting.

Hello, I was wondering if it would be okay to write a drabble based on your theory about Solomon and Barbatos? I just found it very fascinating!

Of course, lovely anon!

As I already touched on, I believe it is possible that Solomon met Barbatos (and Thirteen) around the time when the Bubonic Plague occurred. From what I could find, the plague reached Europe beginning in the year 1346-1347.

If Solomon was just a child back then, as stated by Thirteen, I imagine he suffered tremendously. Not only would Solomon have witnessed friends, neighbors, and strangers dying in record numbers.... But most likely family members too. Widespread panic and mass hysteria would have been commonplace, understandably so (especially since, from my understanding, the very first vaccine in history wasn't created until 1796 not for the plague, but for smallpox). And as a child... I could only imagine the fear, confusion, and uncertainty that would have been thrust upon Solomon from witnessing and living through all of that.

Death would have been all around him, and I'll even go as far as suggesting that maybe Solomon himself even got sick too.

Which leads me to the star topic here :

The pact between Solomon and Barbatos.

Now... My theories may be a bit biased since I used to be a massive Black Butler/Kuroshitsuji enthusiast and fangirl (not the cringey kind, I promise lol). So please keep that in mind going forward.

But my first theory : Perhaps Barbatos was in the human world for whatever reason and stumbled across Solomon. Since Barbatos can see into the future, he could have foreseen that Solomon's continued existence would benefit not only the human world, but the Devildom as well. In that case, it would make sense for Barbatos to form a pact with Solomon, take him to the Fountain of Knowledge, aid him in his recovery, and then urge/allow Solomon to become the sorcerer he is today.

Another theory (this one will be split into two parts) : Since Thirteen said that Solomon was just a child when they first met, this theory is unlikely... but it's still worth considering. Solomon's soul was particularly appealing to Thirteen when they first met. Well, what other being is attracted to human souls? Demons.

What if Solomon had gotten sick and unintentionally summoned Barbatos? I know summoning demons and making pacts is different in Obey Me! compared to Black Butler... but imagine if it was as simple as Solomon crying out for help, pleading for someone, anyone, to save him. If my theory is correct and he had witnessed his loved ones suffer with the Bubonic Plague until ultimately succumbing to their illness and passing away... I imagine anyone would be desperate to avoid that same outcome. So it could have been a combination of Solomon's desperation, innocence, pure "shiny" soul, and fate that helped summon Barbatos to him.

(I do think these two theories are the most likely, especially considering Thirteen said that Solomon looked like he was on the verge of death when Barbatos brought him to the Reaper's Cave.)

On the other hand, what if it wasn't Solomon who had gotten sick but an extremely close loved one instead? Magic and sorcery was practiced back during the Middle Ages, so I'd assume that Solomon would have at least been exposed to it at some capacity as a kid (like how we all learned about different things growing up via gossip, rumors, media exposure, etc.)

If that was the case, perhaps Solomon tried summoning a demon with the intention of saving his loved one. If so, one of two things happened :

1. Barbatos helped Solomon's loved one and in exchange required Solomon to accompany him back to the Devildom (which is extremely unlikely) or

2. Barbatos told Solomon that he was unable unwilling to help his loved one, but offered Solomon the chance to go someplace safe, far away from the disease that was ravaging the human world at that time... and Solomon agreed (I think in that situation, Solomon would only agree if his loved one passed away and he literally had no one left, or if his loved one strongly urged him to follow Barbatos... almost like their last dying wish. And in this scenario, I'll reiterate my belief that Barbatos would have presented Solomon with this offer because he probably foresaw the potential Solomon had to positively impact all three worlds).

Again, these are just my own personal theories and ideas that I haven't been able to stop thinking about since last night. But until we get more info from the devs, everything will remain shrouded in mystery lol

That's why I like to imagine Iwabe and Denki are their present incarnations.

This one's weird. I used to hate L's guts, yet I found him hot in a messed up/ prison fantasy sort of way. Then a few months back, I read some L x Misa fics and started to prefer him to Light. Maybe it's just AU versions of L? I still think he was pretty much as bad as Light, but at least, like Misa, he had a tragic background that drove him. Light was just an ego-maniac. And of course, I've always adored Misa!

Sebastian x Mey-Rin - Kuroshitsuji / Black Butler

My most recent otp. I had some knowledge of the series and thought Sebastian was hot. But oh, when I sat down to watch the first episode, it was nearly instantaneous! The klutzy, nervous, redheaded maid who pines for him... I want these two to get together! I need it!

Only doing two characters here because it came out longer than I anticipated, but for good reason, I think.

Elizabeth: This depends on what version of her is your favorite. If your favorite version of her is the one from the first two seasons of the anime, chances are you grew up on Sailor Moon, Disney movies, and possibly Hello Kitty. You are hyper, love cute things, and have a massive plushie collection. If your favorite version of her is the one from the manga and Book of Atlantic going forward, then everything you read is still true for you, with the added bit that you are selfless and make it a point to look out for others around you. Efforts that, unfortunately, don't get acknowledged.

Undertaker: This also depends on what version of him is your favorite, and there is a lot to go over because I have known a number of Undertaker fans and fangirls over the years. If your favorite version of him is from the first two seasons of the anime, you are a quirky and eccentric individual who is always down for a good laugh. You have a somewhat dark and twisted sense of humor, and while disturbing to others, this sense of humor helps you find like-minded, equally twisted weirdos who love you for who you are. And you may have had a goth phase, or still are goth, and we love to see it (heyo, same). If your favorite version of him is from the manga and Book of Atlantic going forward, then you not only have a dark and twisted sense of humor, but it has likely landed you in trouble on more than one occasion. People either find you a riot to be around or the most disturbing person they've ever met. And... Let's be real here... As soon as you saw this man lift up his silver hair and show off his smooth skin and green, reaper eyes to the world, you instantly fell in love. This is what you were going to live for from here on out. You either used to or still do, dream of the Undertaker coming to you in the dead of night and whisking you away, with the two of you to never be seen again. And again, you either were or are, goth.

With that being said, Umeme is the sole reason why I'm interested in Alhaitham in the first place 😭😭

Back in my twst phrase, I was obsessed with the game. I followed a bunch of twst artist on twitter, I followed a bunch of pages & blogs that translate the game (since the global version is not available until like, 2-year anniversary). I even bought official merchs for the first time (smh I managed to manifest Leona's card from a gacha pack with the 1/22 rate 😭😭😭😭).

Originally, I was coaxed into playing the game bc someone wanted me to translate their doujinshi & stuff for Riddle. I wasn't really interested in Kuroshitsuji or Yana Tobaso but I played twst nonetheless because well, why shouldn't I?

After that, I got really invested in the storyline & the gameplay, and the rest is history.

Turn out I have a soft spot for "I can fix him" characters haha savior complex kicks in, and I liked Leona's voice (Ume 🫶🫶🫶). So I ended up biasing him. I also ended up catching a twst stream (featuring the game seiyuus) to listen to his VA's voice, despite barely understand any word :(；ﾞﾟ'ωﾟ'): I started to grow fond of Ume's voice after that.

In all honesty? I did not expect to hear Umehara's voice anywhere else after my twst phrase is over, definitely not in Genshin, and I definitely didn't think I would end up biasing Alhaitham either.

At the time, I actually liked Cyno more for his joker/comedian character. Yes, I like comedies. Yes, I also have the humor scrapped from the bottom of the barrel. Yes, I genuinely find Cyno's jokes to be funny and I like it.

That was until I heard Alhaitham's voice in the Archon Quest. I recognized Ume almost immediately, and it sparked an interest in me for Alhaitham. I ended up liking his scholarly/knowledgeable vibes and his personality. His character design is the last thing I grown to be fond of.

Also here's my canonxoc take with Leona lol (edited: back in 2020 21 sth). The fandom is pretty much chill with OCs since, well, twst have been staying ambiguous with Yuu's identity for the longest time so the player can self-insert. Not to mention, Malleus seems to never got invited to the meeting where everyone was unanimous about twst not being an otome game.
