“  i was thinking about a career in medicine .  ”     not only is the juxtaposition of this line with his glance at his armour absolutely exquisite ,     it tells us that peter knew the whole time that even if he lived through the duel with miraz ,     he wouldn’t be staying in narnia again afterward because their   ‘ true ’   time was up .

#im so upset #they should've kept this scene in ngl it was so lovely in its portrayal of a gentler #/ more unsure peter #the way he very quietly says 'yes' to bulgy bear calling him 'your majesty' #AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH #my One weakness is peter pevensie's gentleness when speaking with talking animals #also peter remembering little details like the right of the bears !! #also the obvious thing to point out is that this is a really nice caspeter scene but . yeah #LDKNFJDF #im also fond of peter as a teacher at a less prestigious school and helping young troubled people but that's another story #and med student is also good #anyway ignore me im just rambling about the pc movie AS USUAL #i made my friend (big book fan) watch it & we watched this deleted scene where it should've been in the film #and we agreed it was such a shame that the scene was cut ! like it DOES make sense coz it's tonally diff from the rest of the film #but it's also such a nice glimpse into book peter wahhhhh #her: you don't seem to like this movie very much #me: no i DO i just (launches into 4305803495th tirade) #q. #𝖔𝖔𝖈 ; quoth the raven.
