Hi everyone! I previously developed a companion course for Learn Korean with BTS. The lesson videos have been public on YouTube for a while, but now I'm also making the supplemental materials I made (quizzes, worksheets, other exercises) available for my newsletter subscribers.

gosh that down to earth, underdog, us vs the world feeling was on point. like u im super proud of their achievements & i can't be happier for them. but i absolutely miss the feeling of youth & tragedies that were given to us that made most of us stan. I don't blame them if they want to move on from that coz one can argue most of them are in the cusps of adulthood already, & they wanted to tell their own stories in their music and i totally get that. but like give us the conclusion WE DESERVE.

yeaaah haha they are getting older and maybe they don’t identify with that whole youth/rebel type of feeling anymore. but yes i just want some closure ): i wanna know if it’s a time loop, and about the car accident... also why tae replaces jin on top of that tower etc. etc. i want it all to click into place and make sense.

same i am really going to be so sad if it’s in a game... i feel like it would be such a sad way to conclude hyyh. considering they put in so much effort into making all those videos over the years. i always loved the cinematography. and it always made me look forward to the next music video because it’s like maybe we’ll get another clue!!! but you know, there hasn’t been any of that for a while now. not to say i don’t appreciate their stuff now but i just wished they didn’t neglect the story line like that.

yes, i bet bangtan are crazy tired and stressed. the amount of content they pump out is insane lol. idk if you read my other replies to previous anons but we’re on the same wavelength on everything you mentioned lol. about the learn korean with bts vids on weverse haha it’s like i get what they wanted to do with it but i think the boys speak way too fast and the clips are too short that it’s just meh for me. though i will say that listening to their vlives in general with subs has helped me improve my korean. i toggle between kr and eng sub if i can’t catch what they say.

When introducing yourself, use the expression "안녕하세요? 저는 __이에요/예요."

(n)은/는

the object that you want to explain

(n)이에요/예요

the explanation of the object

~이에요 = when the word ends in a consonant (밧침)

~예요 = when the word ends in a vowel

Examples:

저는 드리예요.

I는 Dree예요. 

I am Dree.

진은 한국 사람이에요.

Jin은 Korean이에요.  

Jin is Korean.

Day 05 of Journey to Fluency

I'm making great progress on my vocabulary and my kanas. Reading the LKwBTS book is good too. TTMIK is still better in my opinion but the connection of something I like to learning a language is really motivating. I want to look for a more consistent listening material for Korean because I use anime for Japanese.
