Dear Sweet Lisa Marie,
Today you were laid to rest at Graceland, the home you were brought to when you life started and brought to at the end to rest for eternity beside your daddy and son. Your loss has hurt all of our hearts but we smile knowing you’re no longer in pain because lord knows life didn’t deal you an easy card. The world is a little less brighter without your beautiful smile.
You deserved to live a much more longer life with your girls. It’s still hard to believe you’re no longer here. You’re truly were one of the strongest women. You fought so hard to bring justice to your daddy’s image and you successfully did! I’m glad you got to experience the love and acceptance for your father that you battled so hard to happen. You were utterly talented, funny, witty, and genuine. Not to mention gorgeous inside and out. You had this comforting warmth and love that just radiated from inside even with all the hardships you went through you still found a way to smile and have so much joy. You were an caring and great mother to your children, a wonderful daughter to your parents, and a great friend to many. I knew about you before your dad when I was growing up. I became a fan of yours through Michael, I found my way to you and your dad and thank you for that, I wouldn’t know the friends I have now. Oh sweet Yisa Marisa, you’ll always have a special place in my heart.
My heart feels extremely heavy for your daughters and mother but I know you’ll be watching and protecting them even in the afterlife. I hope it’s beautiful where ever you are and that you know how loved you were and continue to be. You’ll never be forgotten, just like your father. Thank you for everything that you did for us Elvis fans, we appreciate all your hard work and dedication. You can rest now love. ❤︎︎
Long live & fly high Lisa Marie Presley.

I had a dream last night...it was so odd...but whenever I wake up I know Elvis has been in them at some point even at just a glimpse....but lastnight it was Lisa. She came over to my house and we were like close friends, and my parents, siblings, and grandparents(?) were all there....it was so odd it was like a party...but we were all laughing like old friends and she had a friend who was there and Lisa and I sat on my couch and just spoke....I don't know what about but we shared pizza and spoke and showed photos of things on our phones....it was so surreal....it was beautiful.....
Yeah I don't know why I'm sharing this but....anyway....
Love you all!

I fucking love Jerry schilling so much..
First off, Lisa of “Memphis” as he called her was the very first baby he ever held :(
And I just saw him tell a story about the suit he was wearing for Lisa’s memorial/funeral… It’s bc when you saw her last on the red carpet, she went to Jerry and held onto his arms… and he decided to wear that suit that she was holding onto :(

Elvis Presley on his first television show, Ed Sullivan
“Ya sure, you want to do this?”He gave you a soft smile, his thumb brushing against your cheek. "I've never been more sure of anything in my life," you whispered, your voice filled with emotion. His lips meet yours again, the kiss was filled with an even deeper sense of love and commitment, small moan left his mouth onto your lips. His hands traveled around your body, feeling every curve of your shape.
“Elvis” you moan softly out in between the kisses. He only responded with a soft hum that vibrated against your lips. “Please go slowly, baby” He pulled away from the kiss, looking at you with a mixture of desire and amusement. "Did you just call me baby?" he asked with a laugh. You felt yourself blush, but you couldn't help the giggle that escaped your lips. "Sorry, I don't know where that came from," you said with a smile. He leaned in and gave you another soft kiss on the lips. "Don't apologize, I kind of like it," he said with a grin. The two of you laughed and continued kissing, getting lost in each other once again. He hovered over you, making you fall backward on the bed. Your hands surrounded his neck, to push him further down to you.
You felt yourself getting lost in the moment, the tension between you building with each passing second. Just as things were about to reach their peak, some banging on the door interrupted the moment. Elvis let out a sigh of frustration “occupied sorry” he yelled, before kissing down along your jaw. “Elvis is that you?” A familiar woman's voice mumbled from the other side of the door.
He reluctantly pulled away from you, a look of fear crossing his face. "Shit….Just a minute," he called out to the person on the other side of the door. He turned to you, an apologetic look in his eyes. “Who is it?” You mimicked him trying not to make a sound. He didn’t say a word, he just looked at you like he made the biggest mistake of his life. The look on his face made your heartache and a knot of fear formed in your stomach. You couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. He opened the door and you could hear the voice of a woman, but you couldn't make out what she was saying. Elvis turned back to you, his expression was now serious. "I need to talk to her, it'll only take a minute," he said, before closing the door behind him. You laid back on the bed, feeling a mix of confusion and hurt. You couldn't help but wonder who this woman was and what she wanted with Elvis. The thought of him being with someone else made your heartache, but you tried to push it aside, telling yourself that he loved you and wouldn't do anything to hurt you.
As you laid there, waiting for him to return, a million different thoughts and scenarios raced through your mind. But one thing was for sure, you weren't sure if your relationship with Elvis would ever be the same again. “How stupid can you be! Kissing your best friend!” Your inside voice was trying to talk some sense into you. You couldn't believe what you had just done. You had always known your feelings for Elvis went beyond friendship, but you never thought it would lead to this. You took a deep breath, trying to calm yourself, and plumped yourself down onto the bed. You laid in your own thoughts, just keep drifting over to what just happened between you and Elvis.
You couldn't believe that you had just kissed your best friend. The guilt was starting to set in and you were starting to question whether or not this was a good idea. Your thoughts were interrupted by Elvis as he walked back into the room, a concerned look on his face. "Are you okay?" he asked, sitting down next to you on the bed. You turned to him "who was it" you didn’t answer his question, you were so eager to know who could be so important to stop you two. Elvis took a deep breath before answering. "Do you remember the night you came to my house?" he said quietly. You could feel your heart drop, the reality of the situation hitting you. “Elvis don't tell me…” as the words left your mouth, his head hang down low. You rose from the bed, walking around the room in disbelief. “Do you love her?” You asked, fearing what he might be responding to you
Elvis looked up at you, his eyes filled with sadness. "I do love her, but it's different from what I feel for you," he said, his voice filled with emotion. You felt a weight lift off your chest and tears prick the corners of your eyes. "What do you mean?" you asked, hoping for clarification. "I love her, but it's not the same as what I feel for you. You're my best friend, the one person who knows me better than anyone else” there it was again, the realization of just being his best friend, nothing but his best friend and you could never escape that label. You felt your heart break at his words. You couldn't help the tears that started to fall down your cheeks. "I'm sorry," Elvis said, moving towards you, trying to hold on to you. you stepped back, not wanting to be comforted. "Don't be sorry, just go be with the person you love," you said, your voice shaking with heartbreak. "I can't do this," you said, wiping away your tears. "I can't just be your best friend, I can't pretend as if nothing happened. I have to leave.” You quickly gathered your things, not even giving Elvis a chance to say anything else. Your heart was shattered into a million pieces, and you just couldn't bear to be around him. The thought of losing your best friend was devastating, but the thought of staying just friends was unbearable. You walked along the road, trying to keep it together, as you walked away from what once was your happy place.
~
The next few weeks were unbearable. Every thought brought you back to the moment with Elvis in that room, the moment when you realized that your feelings for him would never be returned. Everywhere you looked, you were reminded of him, and the pain was just too much to bear. At one point you didn’t even leave your bed, and your dad was starting to see that something was wrong. He tried to talk to you but you couldn't bring yourself to open up about what had happened between you and Elvis. But he kept asking about Elvis not noticing how his name broke down your heart “what about Elvis, have you talked to him lately?” Your dad's questions only made it harder for you, and you found yourself avoiding the topic as much as possible. You didn't know how to tell him what had happened and how it was affecting you. You just wanted to move on, but it was easier said than done.
“Honey you gotta see this!” Your dad yelled from the living room, you ran into the living room from the kitchen. There he was, Elvis on the big screen almost like he said back in 3rd grade with a half PB & J sandwich in his mouth "one day I'll be standing on a stage singing"
You couldn’t help but smile at him, of course, you were proud of him but the realization of you not being with him, shattered your heart. Elvis was looking more nervous than ever, his little leg was shaky more than normal, and his hands gripping his guitar for dear life. You watched as he took a deep breath, and began to sing.
“You ain't nothin' but a hound dog, Cryin' all the time”
“Goddamn… h-he really did make it” your dad stuttered out, turning around to see you. "Yes, he did," you replied, a mix of emotions flowing through you as you watched your best friend's dream come true. You felt proud of him but also a sense of sadness and longing. The future looked different now, but you knew that you needed to focus on your own dreams and moving forward. You sat down next to your dad and watched Elvis perform, cheering him on silently.
The night slowly crept in, and the urge to call Elvis, and tell you how proud you were of him was uncontrollable. You couldn't help but think about all the times you two had talked about his dream and how he never gave up on it, and now he had made it come true. The thought of him being so close, yet so far away, was unbearable. You took a deep breath and dialed his number, the phone rang for quite some time and made you think that he possibly wasn’t home yet. But then, you heard his familiar voice on the other end, "hello, who is this?" A sigh of relief came upon you, by hearing his voice again. "Hey, it's me," you replied, a smile creeping onto your face. "I just wanted to call and say congratulations on the big night, you did great." Y/N…I-I’m so happy to hear your voice” Elvis replied, his voice filled with emotion. “I miss you so goddamn much” “I miss you too, Elvis," you replied, feeling a knot form in your throat. "But I'm so proud of you, you made it big." Silence hung over the phone for while, not knowing what both of you had to say. Finally, you spoke up, breaking the silence, "I'm happy for you, I really am. You deserve this-“ Elvis interrupted your sentence “can I see you?”
“Elvis I-I don-“ “no I’m sorry I just-“ you could tell he was frustrated. “Can we just talk? I need to see you, I need to make things right." Elvis said, his voice shaking with emotion. You pulled the phone away from you and took a deep breath, trying to calm yourself down. You knew that seeing Elvis again would be difficult, but you also knew that it was something that you needed to do.“I’ll be there in 15”
You hung up the phone and took a deep breath, gathering your thoughts. You quickly got dressed and headed out the door, The walk towards Elvis's house wasn’t the longest route, so you hadn’t really thought about what you had to say to him. But as you approached his doorstep, your nerves took over. You took a deep breath and rang the doorbell. When Elvis answered, he looked even better than he did on stage, and you couldn't help but smile at the sight of him.
“Hey… Come on in” he gestured with a little smirk. You stepped inside and felt a mixture of nervousness and excitement. It was good to see Elvis again, but there were still feelings that needed to be addressed. “Anything to drink?” "No, I'm good," you replied as you sat down on the couch. The room was filled with an awkward silence, both of you not knowing where to start. The air between you two was heavy, filled with unspoken emotions. "Elvis, we need to talk."
“Yes I know that but” "But what?" you asked, looking at him intently. He looked at you seeing it wasn’t the right moment to talk about something else "Never mind, it's not important. Well how you have been" he said, changing the subject. “Elvis don’t pull that one on me… talk to me”
"Okay, I just wanted to say I'm sorry for everything that happened between us. I miss our friendship” there it was again “friendship” a word that truly shattered your heart. You took a deep breath, trying to push down the hurt and sadness that threatened to overtake you. “Elvis… you put me in such a bad position, you truly hurt me, I just don't know what to do," you said, struggling to hold back your emotions. "I don't want to lose you, but at the same time, I don't want to hold you back." Elvis looking down at his feet, trying to avoid eye contact with you. “You know I never meant to hurt you right?”
“Of course I do, but you did by not telling me about the girl and how you love her and then putting me in a position where you kiss me and telling me how you love me only to find out you have a girl in your life” your voice was shaky “Elvis look at me,” You said, your voice firm and unyielding, as you looked into his eyes, trying to get through to him. “But I do love you,” he said in low voice.
“Yeah as a friend right… It will always be just as a friend” Elvis threw his head back in annoyance. “What the hell are ya talkin’ about, of course, it would be an as-a-a-friend” he rose from the couch, trying not to look into your eyes, cause the words that left his mouth at that moment, shattered both of your hearts. “Elvis stop trying to deny it!” You raised your voice. “Deny what! T-that I made a mistake with you and never attended to do so, and now I-I lost you because I was a fool” his chest was pumping up and down with a fast rhythm. You could tell he was overwhelmed with emotions and didn't know what to do.
“A mistake?” You questioned yourself “what was a mistake? That you kissed me or telling how you truly felt or was it because you got caught by some woman…” you rose from the couch.
“I-I don’t know, all of it I guess” he replied, his voice filled with sadness. “Look we both were drunk and got caught up in the moment”
"But what about the feelings you told me you had for me? Were those just drunken mistakes too?" you asked, trying to understand him clearly "What are you trying to say, Elvis? Are you saying that what happened between us was just a drunken mistake?"
“I-I-I don’t know!” He raised his voice.
“Yes or no!” Your eyes widened “Elvis yes or no! Tell me” “Then yes! It never intended to happen but it did and it was a mistake!” He paced back and forth in the room
“Thank you… Elvis” You said with a sad voice, tears threatening to spill over. It wasn't the answer you were hoping for, but at least you finally have a clear understanding of his feelings. “For what?” He stopped walking around to look at you. “For the closure… I can’t keep living a lie, with me denying what I felt for you and now finally knowing what you feel I can close this between you and me” you could feel the tears peaking in from the corner of your eyes. “What does this mean then?” He asked, “It means moving on, letting go of this, and accepting what it was.” You replied, trying to hold back your tears.
"I'm still keeping my promise," Elvis said as he opened his arms for a hug. You embraced his warm body, holding on tightly, knowing that this would be the last time for a while. "Which promise?" you asked, pulling back to look at him. "The one about us getting married even if we're both 30 and single," he said with a chuckle, but his eyes were already beginning to mist over.

"The back lawn of Graceland is a graveyard, basically. How many people have a family grave in the backyard? How many people are reminded of their fate, their mortality, every @#%$ day? All the graves are lined up and there's a spot there, waiting for me, right next to my grandmother."

Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!
Im sorry this is late!(At least in Australia) but today(yesterday) is our sweet girls birthday. On this day February 1st 1968 at approximately 5 in the evening little Yisa Marie was born to two loving, doting parents. Elvis and Priscilla Presley.
She grew up to be a gorgeous, sweet, kind, loving, generous, and fiercely protective woman, who would fight to the death for her family. She also had an incredible sense of humour which I believe was inherited from her father.
I hope she's celebrating happily up there today(yesterday) with her Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Grandfather, and her uncle but most importantly her incredible, beautiful, amazing, loving father Elvis Presley.
Happy Birthday Honey! I hope your having a great time up there! Save me a slice of cake!
Love you!
