Sooo…Little Nightmares 3!!! It’s happening!! Yay!!!!
I wanna talk a bout something that appeared in the trailers we got so far!!
So…there happened to be what looked like adult humans…REGULAR SIZED,NOT GIANT adult humans that were frozen in stone!!
I think a lot of people in the fandom thought that in the LN world, people are both super tiny, but grow up to be the size of the enemies you face…that’s what I thought people thought at least!! If it happened with Mono growing up into Thin Man and Six possibly growing up into The Lady,As well as the children in the school being tiny, this might’ve well been a common occurrence!!
BUT NOW WE’RE GETTING TINY ADULT PEOPLE!! So that probably means that giant beings aren’t natural…either that or tiny people aren’t natural
It depends!! Tiny people always tend to be on the short end of the stick (pun May or May not be intended),like in one of the comics, the guests in town spesifically pointed at the child, while they were soon to be taken by the ferryman!! And there’s the obvious part that MOST of the LN world is fitted for giant people!!
I can’t really think of anything meant for smaller folk. Even the desks in the classroom are too big for the students!! So this means two things could be possible!!
A-As giant people became more and more of a regular occurrence, they essentially overthrew those smaller. They definitely had the strength and numbers to do so!! They eventually rebuilt society for their size and left the tiny folk with crumbs…or made said tiny folk into crumbs
Or B-Tiny people were never a natural thing in the first place!! The bigger folk look down at the smaller folk the way we would look at something unnatural or “weird”. And they were forced into the situation they’re in now because of their size
Either way,the messed up,possibly mutated giant folk rule over the lands we see,and those smaller are essentially seen as sentient pests!! Brutal <:(
As for why it took 3 games for us to see any regular sized adult?? I think that while giants ruled over society, the smaller adults took to fighting back and protecting those younger…which is why pretty much none are left.
But that’s what I think anyways!!

Live thoughts of E6 of The Sounds of Nightmares. As always, expect spoilers for that. Edits in parenthesis if I decide to do any, etc etc.
Spoiler warning over let’s goooooo!
The Lonely Way
Gee, guys, way to make even the title depressing. Are we going to the Maw this week?
Also crinkling noises. Otto eating candy?
Otto: “Brain machine broke”
Noone: “Understandable, have a nice day.”
Apparently Noone disappeared for a lot longer than she normally did. Otto feels powerless, so he clearly needs some AA batteries.
Otto planning to use Noone to bring out the Ferryman now. Abusing his power to do so, sounds like. Noone is clearly angry at him.
The tumor has the poor girl worried. Otto slips and let’s Noone know the Ferryman’s name. Tantrum time.
Science talk that I don’t understand, cool, cool. Noone doesn’t understand either. Nice.
Otto being insistent on candy and this plan, forcing her into both. Naturally. Still a bit peeved at him over last week, so obviously Noone would be.
Dream time!
Armless and faceless mannequins. Did the Lady’s mannequins have arms? Lot of fancy clothes.
Pink tutu and shoes, yellow raincoat. And a puppet.
Yellow raincoat draws Otto’s attention. Liking my theory that CiCi= that girl in yellow raincoat from the paintings. Possibly Raincoat Girl? Six didn’t get hers until after being taken to the Nowhere.
Spying through a keyhole. New mannequin. Not sure what to make of this, might be unique location as the others have been. Could be in LN3, maybe. Maybe even 4.
The Nowhere curing Noone, as we knew from a few episodes ago. Unfortunate sacrifice.
Science talk from Otto, for Otto.
Time for the realm of nightmares.
They’re together in dreamland. Neither can see. Like most nights of sleep, really.
Misty room. But they’re somewhere Noone was before… with the Ferryman. Maw? Yes, I’m still thinking of the Maw.
A door in the distance. Otto is so close (so close). Noone isn’t waiting.
Eye door. Verrrry ominous.
Ferryman is Ferrymanning all over the place.
“Only youth blooms, (something) pure but not rooted, spoils white within.”
Otto talks to the Ferryman! And the other way around. He basically just tells Otto that CiCi is in a wide, wide world. Implying alive. Maybe still Six? Unless a prequel.
Eyes. Lot of eyes. All watching Noone. Uncomfortable. Reminds me of poor Mono.
Otto wants to come, but Ferryman tells him he has to be pushed into it. Maybe because he’s too old?
“Sleep now, Ruth?”
(Noone is just a nickname? Middle name, maybe? I thought Noone’s nickname was No One and only that.)
Dang it, riddles. I can’t catch them all.
And Otto sounds like he’s about to cry… ):
“Give her back! Give her back, damn you!”
Damn, really two times they’re making me feel bad for Otto. Such a broken man.
I think Noone is trapped. Otto wakes up, starts freaking out… and Otto starts considering the abandonment comment.
Otto is the little brother? Thought he was the older one. That’s depressing as heck. (Really making me like the “RCG as a big sister/mom friend of the group” personality I have for her. CiCi COULD still be Six, assuming Six woke up at some point after dropping Mono (we were separated from Six even during the adventure, and the Ferryman still stalked her after the drop).
Brings up a toll to be paid. Start recording, end recording. Start recording.
Is there more next week? No way anything significant comes up within the next like two minutes.
Another patient named Ethan. Sudden sleepwalker. Only mumbles, but Otto is telepathic apparently. He’s gonna use this kid.
Aaaand he really just did it. The “sweets for my sweet”.
Candy could be helping the travel? The Nowhere is curing disease, so maybe all the kids were very sick before coming? Ferryman might be saving kids from their diseases in exchange for them being there.
Okay it’s over. Go read someone else’s post now I guess. Go. Go on. This post is over.

Question about the Pretender-
Does the girl only erase people when intending to vaporize, or is it as simple as her touching you at all= deletion?
Would *you* touching her (say, pushing, for example) result in instant death?

So, I Think I Know Who Ruth/Noone Is
No, I don't think she's Six nor Alone. But I don't think she's a totally new character like Otto/The Counselor (who, by the way, I noticed upon my relisten also identifies himself as “The Counselor” in his first audio log; an incredibly weird decision for one counselor in an asylum full of other counselors that he mentions constantly to make if it has no significance), either. And, I'm sorry, but this will mean that she is yet another poor child who doesn't get a happy ending.
Point One: Her Name
We… we know that Ruth's other name is “Noone,” not “Six” nor “Alone,” guys. That alone is proof that she's neither of them, just like how knowing Otto's other name is “The Counselor” alone is proof against the theories that he's either The Doctor or Mono/The Thin Man.
From what I can tell, it looks like people who've lived in both worlds get a Human Name and what I'll call a “Nowhere Name” or a “Nightmare Name.”
“The Janitor” is for sure Roger's in LN1.
“The Doctor” seems to be “that celebrity doctor” from TSON's in LN2.
“The Counselor” is for sure Otto's in TSON and potentially LN3 if he shows up there.
“Noone” is for sure Ruth's.
Some might choose their Nowhere/Nightmare Name, some may be bestowed it, but it certainly looks to me like the only time someone gets multiple Nowhere/Nightmare Names (excluding The Candleman/Ferryman because, from what Otto said at the beginning of Ch5, he's like literally some sort of Eldritch god or personification of an abstract concept or something who probably doesn't even have a concrete True Physical Form seeing as he's described very differently by mythologies all over the world throughout history, “‘The Guardian At The Threshold,’ an archetype that parapsychologists have obsessed over for centuries. A mythic entity who's appeared in the stories of innumerable cultures. No matter their description, his roll is always the same: to confront anyone who dares cross into unseen worlds . . . The Candleman. The Ferryman. Indeed, The Guardian At The Threshold. An eidolon [googled definitions: ‘a specter or phantom; a ghost or elusive entity; an unsubstantial image; an image or representation of an idea; an apparition of some actual or imaginary entity, or an aspect of reality’] on the inside, determined to keep. Me. Out.” So, I think we can just assume that, because he's an ethereal being, everyone who encounters him perceives him varying degrees of differently [I mean, just look how difficult Noone found it to solidify her perception of him enough to describe him in the first place] and, unless their perceptions just happenstance into matching up enough or they decide to call him by a name they heard someone else use, they all call him something different and therefore, to use Tumblr terms: he's Spiders Georg and shouldn't be counted) is specifically in the case of kids surviving to adulthood in The Nowhere. Because, then, they transition from having a “nickname” type of Nowhere/Nightmare Name to having a “title” type, like Mono (ain't no way his parents put “Mono” on his birth certificate, that's definitely a nickname) growing into The Thin Man (an incredibly weird title, but a title nonetheless 🤷🏻‍♀️).
Sisi could easily be Six, or Raincoat Girl, or Portrait Girl (more likely Raincoat Girl or Portrait Girl), there's evidence for all three (but stronger for Raincoat Girl and Portrait Girl) and Otto/The Counselor never mentioned whatever her other name is, only “Sisi.” But, as I said, we know Ruth's other name: Noone!
Now, there is an unnamed girl that Noone is a little too similar to for it to be a coincidence: Spoon Girl (aka Girl With Pigtails, aka Nosebleed Girl, aka Hospital Girl, whatever you wanna call her) from the LN2 comics.
Point Two: Narrative Parallels & Matching Imagery
• Ruth/Noone: has an eye-looking “pea-size tumor on [her] right-sided amygdala,” as Otto said (“they maintain it's benign, despite the unusual ocular appearance”).
> Is “helped” to escape the asylum, Otto/The Counselor, and her tumor in the horrible, corrupting nightmare world that is The Nowhere by The Candleman/Ferryman after he brings her back and forth for a while, manipulating her into thinking The Nowhere is the lesser of the two evils.
• Spoon Girl: has a right-side nosebleed, which could mean Ruth/Noone was incorrect that living in The Nowhere would cure her of her tumor (not surprising, given that “ocular appearance.” Of course she couldn't escape it in its own domain) and now the cancer has spread to her nasal cavity (nosebleeds come up as a possible side effect of olfactory neuroblastoma, a cancer of the nerves that allow you to smell which starts growing in your nose and can spread into your brain. They could've researched that and thought it seemed perfectly reasonable that a tumor growing in the opposite direction would do the same exact thing)?
> Is “helped” to escape her hospital cell by an unseen person repeatedly pushing spoons under her door only to find that she's actually dug herself into an identical cell, all the way down to the hash marks she put on the walls presumably counting how many spoons she broke while digging. The door then opens to lure her to where she's found by The Doctor and, presumably, is either killed by him or “saved” from him by The Thin Man (if her Glitching Remains that Mono can find and absorb in the actual game are an indication that he attempted a rescue after the pair encountered each other through The Mall), likely turning her into a monster similar to Monster Six and locking her away somewhere until her tumor finally killed her.
Wouldn't it just wrap Ruth/Noone's story up in a positively hideous bow if, once she thought she'd escaped the horrors of her real life, she literally just found herself delivered into the hands of the very same man who traumatized her and got her face plastered all over the telly in the first place, where she basically lives through a metaphor that makes her realize what a terrible mistake she's made before she succumbs to whatever her final fate was (the latter option would mean also into the hands of someone so similar to Otto/The Counselor that the writers were able to use him to foreshadow how his part of her story would end)? 😬😢
If you need more proof, let's look at the TSON cover art…
Tumblr media
Looks an awful lot like those bottom two hands are gripping pigtails, doesn't it (in exactly the wrong place for her to be Alone, might I add. Alone's pigtails stick up, Ruth/Noone's hang down)…? The fact they're also specifically covering the area where her bangs would be is pretty suspicious, as well… Now, let's compare her to Spoon Girl's concept art from the LN2 art book…
Tumblr media
…Yeah, I think it's her. The face, head, shoulder, and collar shapes are much too similar for this series whose artists very much do not suffer from Same Face nor Same Body Syndrome when characters aren't meant to just be members of a faceless/masked/cloned throng. Hello, Ruth/Noone… R.I.P. 😔

[AU] Little Nightmares: Dark Fate PART 30!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
> NEXT
> PREVIOUS
Part 30 and 120 comic pages HAHAHA!
Guys, warning you, I'm going on a little hiatus for, like, a few weeks. I'm pretty tired since I pretty much did part 28, 29 and 30 almost in one go. I want to focus on other drawings, study more about animation and etc; soon part 31 will arrive and it will be a SPECTACLE (and brutal)!

i’ll digitise these later…
for now, have this crudely drawn pencil and notebook version of a comic and some random art of a LN AU that i was making since i wanted to!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
in this AU, mono remembers everything, and tries his best to change/delay the course of his fate, so things go completely differently than what went down in LN2. we see more of the two trying to survive the pale city, like a very twisted and dark slice of life with a bunch of horrible angst behind it.
more info / me rambling under the cut:
Mono:
Conflicting, conflicting emotions, his hurt has prevented him from trusting Six completely anymore
but the kind side of him that’s still alive, that side wonders if he can fix her, if it was his fault and not hers…
Is constantly questioning himself and in a state of severe mental distress
“what the hell why am i still helping her should i do something else did i do something wrong oh crap oh crap what do i do is he me do i stop him this time what do i do differently this may be my only chance i can’t mess this up i can’t i can’t i can’t i can’t i ca”
Very paranoid and apologetic, even for the slightest mistakes. He is terrified that any single drop of discord sown between him and six will only contribute to his fated ending.
Quietly helps Six along
Seems emotionally distant towards Six, but shows his emotions occasionally
Shows small gestures of kindness from time to time, though not as openly as when he wore his paper bag
Is only forced out of this state of mental turmoil when fear takes over and he has to focus on keeping he and Six alive while in mortal peril, and even then he’s very stressed
The presence of Six is the only thing keeping him sane (and driving him insane at the same time, what irony)
Mental illness + intrusive thoughts + insecurity + self-loathing + not knowing if this is your only chance to reverse your horrifying fate + the stress of keeping you and your friend alive in a world that’s constantly tryna kill you = seriously wrung out kid that needs a goddamn rest
Cries a lot due to his unbearable stress, but keeps himself alive while clinging to the small shred of hope that he might be able to change his fate
Keeps away from televisions like they’re the plague for fear he accidentally releases the thin man again, and if he sees one on he immediately shuts it off
Six:
Practically the same as before, but is wondering why her new friend is acting so… strange
Still very untrusting of other kids, but builds small specks of trust over time in her new friend
She sees his unwillingness to trust. She, as someone who’s trust has been hurt by others before, finds the same in Mono and so she is able to let herself grow closer to him
Hates, hates, hates being helpless/useless, tries her best to contribute in any way she can
Pounces on the bully before Mono to show him she can protect herself
Aggressively helps Mono along
”hey you try ur best to help me and i appreciate that a lot but i can help too, stop stealing all the spotlight would ya”
Constantly tries to make small conversations with Mono to keep his spirits up
Wants to cheer him up but isn’t good with emotions so doesn’t know how
“My friend is a depressed little sh(ee)t who insists on being annoyingly enigmatic but he still tries his best to be a decent person so i love him for that anyway”
Feels a slight inner guilt for not being able to absolve Mono’s emotion problems and stop him from being so sad
Survivor’s guilt
Knows his sadness has something to do with her but can’t put her finger on it
Is frustrated and confused about why he still insists on keeping her by his side even though her presence is very obviously hurting him, she would have abandoned anyone like that immediately, but aggressively appreciates him for that too
i tried to like, humanise six and not make her seem like a villain and all that 😭
also, since mono’s response is different (and strange) towards her now, six responds differently to him. she isn’t all “stick with ya cause i need to survive” anymore, she actually wonders what the hell is up with him- as she sees more of her in him (unwilling to trust/be friendly) and so has a slight urge to want to make friends with him that grows stronger the more they are together?
please gimme feedback if you have any about this au :D
aight that’s it have a cookie if you read this far :] 🍪

Maybe the reason for why kids in little nightmares are so small is that they’re the fragment of innocence that represents the inner child in people which got extracted out of people when they become into monsters in the ln world? Could half the reason why the ln monsters hunt after the kids and eat them is they may desire to be whole or innocent again?
That makes some sense! Hurt people hurt people, after all. Could work similar to UT’s souls, when Flowey absorbs the human souls he can feel them. He can finally feeling something again- but it isn’t really him.
Personally, I think it’s because everything actually is just giant. When you’re a kid in a scary situation, everything seems so much bigger than it might actually be. I think the Tower takes their fears and manifests them into reality.
Maybe they can see the innocence in the children, and they can’t have that. Even our real world is cruel and hates the innocence of children (unfortunately), and sometimes this DOES come from a place of “if I can’t have it, no one can”.
The only nitpick I have to make is that not every monster eats kids (though many do). The Hunter seems to turn them into trophies, the Janitor just takes Six back to jail (imagine Six screaming “I ain’t going back to jail!” as she bites at his fingers), the monsters of the Nest always just seem to go straight for homicide.
The Hunter might eat the meat, save the rest as trophies. The Chefs and Guests eat them, too. Same for the Teacher. The Lady picks between Nomeification (I guess that’s a word now lol) and neck snappy time.
What’s probably most dangerous are the monsters that APPEAR to have the innocence of kids (not to say all kids are innocent, pretty sure everyone’s been bullied as a kid) but are actually just monsters. Like, well, the bullies and Pretender. People who *look* nice, like other kids in this world, act as a lure. Like those weird glowey head lamps on the Angler fish.
“Another kid? I can have a friend!” turns to disaster really fast.

Diagram of events from Little Nightmares 1 and 2
Had to make a Little Nightmares Diagram of everything we have theorized thus far for the story and Lore in a shorter summary. Naturally, I do not condone this as fact as nothing is confirmed and everyone is free to interpret things however they wish, this is simply what I and other theorists have gathered after doing our research. If you would like to read what we theorized in this diagram, I go more in depth here, here , here, here, and here

I want to see someone beat LN2 without Six and Mono letting go of one another.
Like, hand holding wise.
We can’t have nice things tho.

Finished “The Sounds of Nightmares…”
First: fantastic, I loved it, five stars, highly recommend. 💕
Second: so, “that celebrity doctor” Otto/The Counselor blamed for Ruth/Noone's body dysmorphia getting worse was totally The Doctor in LN2's Real World identity, yes? The Doctor's patients were plastic surgery patients…
“The Patients cannot live with their selves. They look in the mirror and hate what stares back. Seeing nothing but the flaws and ugliness of nature, they beg The Doctor to fix them, to work his magic, and make them whole again.”
“Perfection is important to The Doctor and he will not allow anything to interfere with his life's work. With his adoring patients clattering the halls, you may not hear The Doctor coming, not until it's too late. Only then will you learn to look up to him.”
…Completely the wrong kind of “doctor” for Otto to be him, as a psychiatrist/sleep specialist or whatever the heck he was (plus, the TSON series description and Ruth/Noone, herself, call him “The Counselor.” So, if he shows up in LN3, he's definitely gonna be a different entity). Does that mean the “toll set in torment” that The Doctor paid to enter The Nowhere was making countless people hate their looks to the point of begging him for cosmetic surgery? 🤔 I wonder if The Lady in LN1 was a child victim of his who ascended to power in a manner more similar to Mono/The Thin Man than Six(/Sisi?)… We already knew time was wibbly-wobbly in The Nowhere after what happened with Mono and The Thin Man, sooo… it definitely ain't outside the realm of possibility. 🤷🏻‍♀️
