Danish folklore lovers: please help!
Does anyone have access to this book:
Folkeeventyr fra Kær herred (Folk tales from Kær Herred), by Nikolaj Christensen, published by Laurits Bødker with Akademisk forlag; København
1963-67.
As far as I can tell, it is the most complete publication of the folk tales that Nikolaj Christensen collected and sent to folklorist Svend Grundtvig. And the index even promises to have an English summary at the back!
Apart from the index I can find nothing of it online though, and I’m currently on a wild goose chase for an alternative version of the story “David Husmandssøn” (as collected by Jens Kamp) and I’m hoping it’s in here. Perhaps “Matrosen og kongen” (The sailor and the king) or “Et sømandsæventyr” (A seaman’s adventure)?
If you can help me, please let me know, I’ll be forever grateful!
EDIT: Several kind Danish folks are investigating their local libraries for me, so stay tuned!
EDIT 2: Quest completed! The Danish corner of my dash very kindly dove into research for me and confirmed that Et sømandsæventyr is indeed a version of David Husmandssøn (or vice versa)!

Was resuming Netflix for the first time in months. My original intention was going to check this one anime out, which happened to start with an “g”. That I happened to stumble across Goosebumps. Finally viewed the whole thing, now I can go back to that one anime I’ve slightly mentioned.
It’s been a little nostalgic. Been knowing this franchise for years ever since it was aired on Fox kids and novels for students around the time. I remembered a bit of it from the top of my head, I think there was a promo of “ Chillogy “ when this girl protagonist turned into a human pig and another, a baseball player boy going to fall into the lava pit. Wow, long time ago. Another bit of the memory I have back then, this one boy was going to pop out due to overweight. It was in that one episode about the evil camera, the sequel of it. I think that’s an only episode that I’d watched, I think the rest is a blur to me. I was a bit surprise there was a sequel. I’m mostly thinking each stories has there own and there protagonists. All random peoples. I guess it’s sorta like Robot Chicken? To put it that way. So, there was evil camera 2, the difference was there’s different actors but the same characters. Couldn't say the same for "The Haunted Mask". Now that was something else. I do remember for sure I’ve watched from the VHS official retail back in elementary school, the teacher read the novel to us in reading class. After the teacher done with that, we watch the actual fun media scenery. Along with “ "Night of the Living Dummy “ was the great one also. Seeing Hayden Christensen was awesome and Laura Vandervoort as well from different story. One from Star Wars and another, DC Comics.
Could still watch it till the end of the 18th of this month on Netflix. Which once again I should need to importantly mention. If can’t finish on time, there is different servers like Youtube or Amazon Prime, which you could move yourself over there. Let the commence begin. One alt way is to binge!!

My thoughts on the new Ahsoka trailer that just dropped a few days ago:
Interesting, looks like it’s a race to find Thrawn. Maybe this is what the cast meant when they said the show could go on for another season?
“We are no Jedi.” Makes me think that we might actually get a pro-Jedi arc instead of Filoni’s Gray Jedi agenda? Or is that too hopeful?
Hera looks good! As expected, Mary Elizabeth Winstead is killing it and fits right into the character. Y’all are just haters
The green eye contacts are a bit 👁️👄👁️ though Kinda reminds me of the Miley Cyrus blue eyes meme
Hilariously enough, Hera’s lekku look way better than Ahsoka’s. Not her getting eaten up in her own show
Hera and Ahsoka interaction, 10/10. +++
Ahsoka looks a bit more like herself without the cloak covering her shoulders (sorry, I can’t recognize Ahsoka unless the guns are out).
I can kinda see what the actress is going for, and she does fit the vibes of battle-hardened Rebels Ahsoka. Still sorta wish they recast her with Laura Harrier though
ANAKIN mention had me going feral... please, Hayden Christensen, be in here for longer than five seconds...
“Just like I walked away from Sabine” WOW JUST STAB ME IN THE HEART WHY DON’T YOU
SABINE IS SO HOT AUGHSKMS I AM SO GAY
“You never made things easy for me…Master” GHFKSKSMKDKD??? CASUAL LORE DROP??? Does this mean we are getting Jedi Sabine?
Thrawn looks a lot better than I was expecting him to be in live action, thank god. Whoever decided to give him eyebrows? You are my savior.
SABINE CUT HER HAIR AGAIN AKSMXMDMDD I AM GAYER NOW
The evil guy namedropped Anakin personally? Okay… interesting, would like to find out how they know each other
Overall, super excited to see what the show will bring. Huge improvement in the Montrals prosthetics, and looking forward to see a women-centric Star Wars show. I'm calling it, everyone is gonna be Team Hera/Soka by the end of this.
