Queen still couldn’t focus on her current sculpture commissions. She couldn’t bear the recent loss that she experienced, so she took a short break from sculpting and went to bed.

Meanwhile, Katherine went on a night out for some music and company at the Luminous Bar in the luxurious beachfront commercial district. She met her father’s new wife Diana and her aunt Maria, Lazlo’s cousin there, and all the ladies had a blast that evening.

The next day, Katherine finally had her nectar cellar finished. It was a simple basement, and she’s very excited to start using it. She couldn’t wait to start collecting and making her own.

Later that night, Queen visited the graveyard to mourn her late parents and grandmother.

Thebe-Corcoran family, Roaring Heights - #13

Welcome back to the Thebe-Corcoran family!

Many years have passed since we last saw them, and so much has happened.

Queen  and Lazlo Corcoran divorced. Lazlo still stayed at the house for some years to help raise their children, Katherine and Martin, until they became young adults. That’s when Lazlo finally moved out and pursue a new life of his own. He left on good terms with his ex-wife (turned good friends) and his children - they understood why their dad got to leave. Now, the children are starting to form a life of their own.

Now...

Katherine is working at the Bourdelle’s Bistro as a chef, and because of her job, she developed a love for nectars and fine drinks, and she dreams of having her own nectar cellar and maker. She has the Clumsy, Excitable, Hopeless Romantic, Over-Emotional, and Technophobe traits.

The youngest son Martin was still unemployed by this time and taking a “vacation” first before he enters the workforce soon. He has the Genius, Green Thumb, Inappropriate, Loner, and Slob traits, and dreams of being a creature-robot cross breeder.

Queen is now a vampire and still a renowned sculptor, and has been selling high quality sculptures to the wealthiest families and businesses in Roaring Heights.

One summer afternoon, she decided to visit her grandmother Andromache, the one who raised her and her brother Eetion, since she got news that she’s getting weaker and weaker, and wanted to see her before something happens.

And as soon as she stepped outside the front door, the one thing she’s most afraid of happened - she lost her. She’s devastated, and had this excruciating pain in his heart. She didn’t even got the chance to talk to her one last time before she passed away. Her eldest child Katherine tried to comfort her after she got home from work.

Thebe-Corcoran family, Roaring Heights - #10

The case of the art heist was finally solved, and the perpetrator had been arrested at the science building.

Lazlo got a new case of a missing Jalopy from Contessa Capp, and he went straight to her location, Varg’s Tavern, to know more from her. While waiting for her, he met her sister-in-law Cordelia’s husband there, and they didn’t have a nice conversation.

The parents re-purchased a baby swing in different color to match their home, and their toddler Martin really liked it.

Queen learned how to sculpt a gator in stone. It turned out really good.

Lazlo has this habit of brooding and contemplating things about his current case before heading out to do his private investigation. Also, this is his excuse to stay inside for more minutes, he really doesn’t like going out.

And finally, he solved the case of the missing auto, and the family celebrated at the Roaring Heights Fall Festival, but then it hailed all of a sudden, so all of them had to go home early. How unfortunate.

Queen finally finished her first topiary sculpture. It turned out really good.

He got into the case of wayward Jalopy, which he thought was a pretty small and easier case compared to the previous cases he handled. The case was solved not long after, then proceeded to another case of restaurant politics.

Queen’s getting good at topiary and clay sculpting, and the family received a devastating news of an old relative passing away. It was Derek Jacob, Andromache’s husband.

Nothing much was going on at home during this time, except the kids being all so cute playing uwu :3

Also, Lazlo got awarded the Investigator’s Keepsake by the Roaring Heights City Hall for his contributions to the workforce. I mean, him going out of his comfort zone to get the job done is kinda impressive.

Lazlo solved the case of teenage love and told Cornwall, Regan’s teen son, that his girlfriend is not trustworthy and is very shady. He left the park with a broken heart. After this, he got assigned a big case of an art heist, and his investigation led him to many places, like the art gallery and the Dietrich home.

Meanwhile, the kids were spending the end of fall and start of winter at home playing with their toys, including the new treehouse and costume chest that the parents bought for them from their many commission earnings.

Lazlo got a new case of the missing wallet of Simon Meyers, and his investigation led him to the beach wedding venue, so he snooped for clues there. His sister-in-law, Regan, was there too, sunbathing during fall.

Queen was getting promotions on her sculpting work. Both parents always make time to bond with their kids, even though they got so much stuff in their to-do lists.

Lazlo’s now into the case of the missing auto, and stumbled upon a much larger syndicate behind it. It’s not surprising that a high-profile criminal Donia Spinelli was involved. He went to the local stadium to investigate the car show that’s going on there.

Meanwhile, Queen started getting into topiary, taking a break from her other favorite sculpting mediums. The kids love their new activity table.

Full moon’s approaching, and everyone seemed to be way too playful and lively during this time, except for Queen who’s busy sculpting mermaids. She’s too inspired by the beach in front of their home. Lazlo tried chatting more with the kids during his free time and breaks from investigation.

Thebe-Corcoran family, Roaring Heights - #1

High school sweethearts, and now married and parents to a beautiful girl and boy, Lazlo Corcoran and Queen Thebe settled at the Beach Drive to escape the chaos of downtown Roaring Heights and their unusual family backgrounds.

Time for a new household again!

Lazlo, Queen, and their children Katherine and Martin live at a modest home called Beachfront Residence at 43 Beach Drive, the former home of writer Virginia Supine. Originally a home with only two floors, they managed to have it renovated using their savings and added a third floor to have the bedrooms of the kids and Queen’s art studio.

Lazlo is a private investigator who’s actually doing well in it, despite his socially awkward trait and hating the outdoors. Maybe he got used to it by now. Queen is still a sculptor who spend most of her time at home, inside her art studio. When she’s not sculpting, she’s painting or looking after the kids. Both of them always try their best to be there for them all the time.

Katherine is a technophobe, excitable and clumsy like her mom, while Martin is a loner and a slob. He would probably drive her neat freak mom crazy when he grows up.

Queen finally got a chance to practice painting again after a long time of sculpting for living, and then went back to sculpting again in her favorite medium: ice.

Meanwhile, Lazlo was still busy with the art heist case, and it made him go back and forth to the Police Station to analyze evidence and fingerprints found in his investigation. He’s also trying hard to make time for the kids in between this big case. He also got a drink promotion opportunity at the local fusion lounge, The Palm Tree Bar, and met her sister-in-law there Goneril and her husband Edward.

The case was getting more and more complicated, and the evidence Lazlo found led him to the bookstore, science building, and the museum. He also needed to hack more databases, an activity he preferred more than going outdoors.

Katherine had another collection project, this time it’s bugs, and it sent her again to the other parts of the town.

Queen learned how to sculpt the Great Octavian, a giant octopus from the legends and myths of the sea.

Thebe-Corcoran family, Roaring Heights - #6

It’s Spooky Day, and the family didn’t have any gathering planned because of their busy work and the kids, but they still celebrated Halloween in their own small ways.

Lazlo had a new case about a teenage love of Regan’s teen son Cornwall, and happened to have been invited to a costume party, thinking that the people he needed to talk to would be there too. That’s what he called multitasking.

Katherine had a lovely trick or treat at the Beach Drive (and the nearby neighborhoods too), and saw some other kids too. It was fun.

He invited Regan over that evening to talk about his son’s love problems, but not long after, everything became socially awkward. Sigh.

Corcoran family, Roaring Heights - #2

Previously on the Corcoran household...

Blaine and Nate, the two youngest sons of the Corcoran family, grew up to teens, and now the household is full of teen boys who were a bit wild and rebellious, pranking each other around the house, and having a hard time at school.

Blaine, the middle child, found young love with Tammy Hooper and asked her as his date to prom. Luckily, she said yes. One midnight, he claimed that he was “abducted by aliens,” and later after returning near his house, he was caught by the police, thinking he was roaming around town during curfew hours. His parents didn’t believe him, and was grounded not long after.

Teens will be teens, right?

Fortunately, the eldest son, Lazlo, managed to get his grades up before graduating high school, and who would have thought that he’d graduate as a valedictorian? His late night cramming and studying days before the final exams paid off. He now works as a private investigator, and loves hanging out at the Mick’s Master Karaoke across their house during his free time. But, he doesn’t like hanging around anywhere for too long. He hates the outdoors and going out.

Corcoran family, Roaring Heights - #3

Welcome back to the Corcoran household! (And I’m back from my short simblr hiatus haha)

Previously...

Gene and Sonia had another child, their first daughter! After having three boys, they were blessed with a girl, and they named her Kelsey.

The older brothers Lazlo and Blaine have already moved out of the home, and are currently living with their own families.

Now...

The two youngest children Nate and Kelsey are both young adults now, and  just joined the workforce after “vacationing” for a long time after their graduation. Kelsey decided to join the politics career, since she feels that she’s good for that, while Nate joined the business career, sharing the same sentiment as his younger sister.

Gene was just at home, relaxing, enjoying music, and taking a break from his gardening, since it’s already winter. Sonia’s still in the film career, working as a director.
