The area around Catalan in Brazil's state of Goiás is dry, very dry. Sandro's life here is just as dry--somewhat monotonous. He works in a fertilizer factory and divides his days between the city club, work, soccer with friends, and city parties. He has a purely sexual relationship with his colleague Ricardo. He always seems to be an outsider, not comfortable in his own skin, not really belonging. When Maicon, a man straight out of a Tom of Finland illustration, shows up in their small town and flirts with Ricardo, Sandro's burgeoning feelings of jealousy set a change in motion.

I can’t really say that I understood everything in the movie because I have a feeling that it deals with many different themes throughout it, but what I could definitely point out is that one of those things deals with sexuality and kink/BDSM, as the movie has quite a few scenes of it and they sometimes don’t seem all that connected to the story. It’s more like they’re a dream sequence of the main character or his subconscious states, so in that regard the movie has this really artsy vibe that always makes it more complicated for me to follow the actual storyline, but I definitely appreciated the aesthetics in this movie. Almost every scene that I could see was mastered to perfection visually speaking - the colours were matching, it was very harmonious and nice, so if you’re interested in those kind of things it’s going to be a great movie for you. If you’re more into conventional movies with no artsy vibes and no complicated narrative forms, this might not be for you. Also, there were lots of sexy hunks in this movie as you can see from the pic and I could definitely sense the Tom of Finland vibe, which is always a plus for me :D
