Doing work on This is Your Lifepath season 2 has got me thinking about lists of inspirations again. So I rounded up some lists in upcoming projects.
(Ritual Magic for Besties isn't here as its bibliography is fairly short and more explanatory rather than list-y, also like it comes out later this month so you can just wait)
PSYCHODUNGEON
The games listed are primarily about mechanical influence (which is why they're mostly a very large slice of Belonging outside Belonging games). Big exceptions are Subway Runner and DD.TV which are both there for post-dungeon fantasy influence. ACWtM is there for the influence on the asymmetric roles, which are a divergence from how BoB setting elements tend to work, and so my own Fear the Taste of Blood is there because working on that is how I understood that element better.
Probably should clarify Moonstruck is the comic (as like loose setting influence) rather than the film (which bangs but doesn't relate much to PSYCHODUNGEON).
NHSmackdown is a wrestling/performance art show by a friend of mine which was focused on being a nurse. The influence is in how it got me reflecting on being trapped in job which is nominally doing good but isn't protecting you and is honestly actively harming you.
Nemesis Revealed
Nemesis Revealed is a storytelling game of great rivals, where you play someone's nemesis, their dark counterpart and follow their story. It has multiple playsets which frame a different hero to create your nemesis in opposition to.
So the game influences are either in mechanics or in the structure of a book basically. Whereas the other section primarily focuses on specific influences for different playsets (there's a sort of conventional street level superhero, a gender-twisty tokusatsu inspired story, as well as strange space knights and near-distant future mecha crews). It's a scattershot and probably reads very opaque without context (I think that's how all my bibliography lists look which is probably why I place them at the back, where a reader will find them already armed with context, rather than at the start as a taste setter).
Transgender Deathmatch Legend II: Grand Slam
TDL2 actually has two separate lists. There's a traditional bibliography. I referenced my own work I've drawn on because it seems honest. Fox in the Forest is there for influencing the original mechanic. Hieronymus influenced how i wanted the shape of the book to be. Stealing the Throne influenced some non-fighting mechanics.
The other references are more for how they influenced specific scenarios (like one is loosely Raid inspired but turned into smashing up a GIC, while another is a direct Warriors-riff).
I included the Party of One episode i did cause it helped clarify how i felt about the game. British lads hitting each other with chairs is there because it's a mood.
Sh!t Theatre Drink Rum with Expats was a fringe theatre show I did set up for and it ended up influenced the content of a work-in-progress show I did called Crossface (which was a wrestling inspired character comedy performance drama). Some of the content for Crossface has been recycled into some personal essays I have in the book. So paying tribute to that root felt important.
But before that section TDL also has a Recommended Reading list. It's mainly stuff that I think conveys what's enjoyable about wrestling. I wouldn't say everything was a direct inspiration, but if you read the book and played the game and wanted to know more about wrestling; there's a little roadmap in the book.
(Though being serious this appendix is obviously super subject to change before release if anything horrific comes out about anyone featured, obviously the danger in recommending any wrestling tbh)

Any really weird or funny things in the LoZ games you think deserve attention in LU fics?
Oh, a bunch. Where to start?
Firstly: they should play more minigames. Especially dancing. Weird that the Gorons moved on to wrestling as their main sport by Twilight's era; frankly that's a downgrade. Legend and Time should remind them what tradition looks like.
And some minigames are just... ridiculously dangerous? They would make GREAT crack fics. Any myths of Sky being normal and well-adjusted would crack under the weight of that game where you get shot out of a cannon and then skydive down to slam your face into a giant roulette wheel. Or that game from Labrynna (Legend) where this Goron throws a whole heap of bombs at you to see if you can dodge them. Only slightly safer than a similar game involving cuccos.
And on the more serious side of lore that I think is under-explored: the Royal Family has a daaaark side. In a lot of ways, really, which are HINTED at in the games, but rarely actually detailed. For example, it's mentioned in Twilight Princess that the Royal Family have been exploiting the Twilight Realm since LONG before the Twilight Realm started fighting back. And in TotK's ancient Hyrule, we never did find out what happened with the rest of the Zonai, or how exactly Rauru ended up in charge of things.
Ocarina of Time has the darkest portrayal of the Royal Family - even though Zelda is the only member of that family that you ever actually see (the king is somewhere offscreen at the time you meet her). Although everything seems fine and normal at first - notwithstanding the giant war that happened before the start of the game and which left Hyrule Field SWARMING with undead - you eventually come across Bottom of the Well and the Shadow Temple, which uhh... don't paint the Royal Family or Sheikah in a particularly nice light.
And then there's Zelda II's background lore from the game booklet, which says that a king from long ago created the monsters that guard the Palaces:
Are we just going to skip past the fact that the King can create monsters?? That feels important! When and how did he learn to do that? Does that have anything to do with how Dead Hand and Bongo Bongo came into existence? Or anything to do with BotW's Guardians, WW's Tower of the Gods, SS's Lanayru facility or the transformative shadow magic in TP? Possibly not, but it's fun to think about. Teehee conspiracy brain go brr.
There should be more spooky scary horror fics, maybe. Maybe I should write this. (It's vaguely included as a plotpoint in my longfic, but I am SLOW right now.)

Or: In Which The Gang Gets Negged By A Primordial Arch-Snake From Before The Dawn Of Time.
The first to step forward, swallowing her fear and stumbling into the unknown, is, of course, our paladin Andromeda. She asks her question, opens her mouth to follow it up, and--
Time stops.
The entire five-part set of negotiations goes by in the span of half a second, the entire party bound in a telepathic circle--witnessing, but unable to interfere, as each must decide for themselves.
And damn, though: The Feathered Serpent is not cruel by nature--too ancient for it, she's above such things--but they're not here to hold back, either. She challenges each of the party in turn, laying out her offer, sometimes encouraging them to look at it with new eyes and sometimes just goading them to see what they do with it.
The sacrifice she asks of them is not small. It's the traditional price; a warlock pact. A lifetime in her service, acting as her eyes, gathering information and rare magics and ancient artifacts, in exchange for the full and complete answer to a question important enough to be worth it. The knowledge they seek is too dangerous to handle carelessly. It's not cruelty--there is no retribution for stepping away, deciding that the price she asks is too high. But once the bargain is made it cannot be unmade. She's making sure they enter this agreement of their own free will.

Andromeda (Paladin)
Question: Does the Faerie Queen have a weakness we can use to kill her?
Hail indeed, I see; Pelor sends his most beloved. But is that love enough, daughter of the sun? Perhaps the third time will be the charm after all—you who have power and purpose but nothing to do with them. Or when the rift heals and the curtain falls on a world saved, will you be left exactly in the place you started? Shall I grant wisdom where it will not be used? I do not let go what I have won so lightly, even for the fire of the sun itself. Give me a reason.
Andromeda agonizes for a timeless moment; she has no objection to helping the Feathered Serpent as long as the missions aren't hurting innocents, but while they remind her that their many eyes are precious resources and driving them to rebellion and thus death is senseless as it means they lose those agents, they will not make this easier by giving her any assurance that she will be able to just refuse requests without consequence or allowed to prioritize Pelor's will over the Serpent's--that isn't how this works.

Shall you return to the house that strangles your breath in your chest? Turn soldier inside stone walls? Dragon-caves are the least of the secrets in your world. Question: Is there a way within our capacities to cause a civil war in the summer court and, if so, is it more likely to let us succeed in our mission than convincing the winter court to invade?
(He is cut off halfway through the word "and". The deal is one answer, not two, it doesn't become one question just because it's joined by a conjunction.)
Ah…the man who would not be spymaster. A born liar’s tongue is wasted on you…but it is yours to waste. Still. It is a poor bard with no regard for the power of a story. The words we use shape everything—in this world and in your own. What stories will live and die without ever being sung? What golden truths will be twisted and buried beneath mortal sewage, with none to speak on their behalf? Can you live with that, little fiddler? When a word from you now could give you the power to change it?

Sleepy Hollow au where Alex is a brujo but doesn't quite know it (or admit to himself) and his family moves to New England for his parents' work. He's not thrilled since he's going from a very mixed race society (Mexico still owns Texas) to a very conservative one.
At least, he thinks it's conservative, but then he thinks they're bat shit crazy due to their superstitions.
Autumn descends, and t night, wolves sing loudly in the woods. Then it's not just the wolves, but the dogs in the village. Alex hears a horseman riding down the streets and over the nearby bridge. He's used to a noisy neighborhood, but this is something else. The whole town swears they don't hear anything, but they outright threaten him to stay inside at night. Shudder the windows and blow out any flames.
It's Alex, so he doesn't. The horseman comes around like clockwork, probably a delivery person of some kind, bringing the papers from New York or Philadelphia, or doing the late night work of some other business. Goodness knows the silversmith stays up at all hours, so he's probably the one paying the obnoxious rider...
Alex sees the dog first. A smallish hound that sees him right back. It bays up at the moon, and through the shadows, a large horse's silhouette joins the dog's. Alex knows a male rider when he sees one, but the headless horseman legend might not be a legend after all.
The rider and dog run off, but Alex finds them night after night. He even manages to get way too close and learns that the dog is dead - cloudy blue eyes, half its jaw missing, and somehow still walking and running with a compound fracture sticking out of its legs.
It's when the horseman lifts the dog to carry it that Alex sees the glint of a ring on his pinkie.
Another night, push comes to shove, and Alex wrestles that ring off the zombie's hand and flees. All he has to go on is a gold signet ring, the curvaceous H stamped on it, and the almost worn away engraving inside:

He has no idea what it means. He's assume it's a Bible verse except his sister has been making trips to the nearby cities to see the plays. She collects the scripts and tells him it's a citation from a play. But which one?
Alex runs out of time trying to figure it out, because the next night, an incessant knocking rattles the house door in its frame before being knocked down entirely.
To both Alex's and June's surprise, the horseman holds out his hand. Alex sets the ring on his dead palm, and he...leaves. For having no brain, the body is oddly sentient.
"Did you see his clothes?" June asks.
"What? No, I'm busy looking for his eyes."
"It's a stage costume. He's wearing a stage costume. It's too colorful."
Long story short, June and Alex search through records to find an actor who died with an H last name. Instead they find Arthur, an actor with a son named Henry. They died in the same week.
"Which one is it?"
"Henry. It must be Henry," June insisted.
"A father would wear his son's ring," Alex reasoned. "He's looking for something every night."
Either way, Alex must find out how they died, and why one of them is riding. The real question, is who is the horseman searching for every night? The search is getting more and more invasive. The townspeople aren't able to turn a blind eye anymore, and things are getting violent.
And yet, the horseman never harms Alex.

my conscience simply can't leave a list unfinished so I had to watch all of Cary Elwes' tv appearances as well... Turns out I've already seen much more than the John Paul II movie I had originally known him from.
Seinfield (1996) - Have I ever watched Seinfeld? No. Have I ever seen this episode? Yes. How is that possible? I don't know.
The Pentagon Wars (1998) - not something I'd normally enjoy but it wasn't bad (?
From Earth to the Moon (1998) - don't care, sorry
The Outer Limits (1999) - I recognized the fiancee and the alien immediately so 1) I must have seen this when I was a kid 2) I never recognized him bc I'd have remembered that. This show looks so good I need to watch more
Race against time (2000) - another "I'm sure this was on tv in like 2005 when I was down with the flu" movie
Night Visions (2001) - I don't remember his episode but I definitely have seen A View through the Window before 😭 just like the outer limits I want to watch the whole thing tbh. And that transphobe had it coming??
The Uprising (2001) - another show I've watched before but I was probably too distracted by David Schwimmer to recognize anyone else. The fake Polish accents were a surprise, god, just why? They all spoke English anyway.
Also, did they cast him bc he also has a Jewish great-grandmother?
The X-Files (2001) - I jumped from season 2 to season 9 for this post and... he's really good at playing characters you'll just hate immediately. Saved this for the last and watched it on Christmas eve.
The Riverman (2004) - ok so I watched this one in Italian bc it was on youtube and again, why do I feel like I've come across this movie before? The plot boils down to "Ted Bundy wants attention 😟" so it's terrible also the wig he wears at some point is so hilariously bad
Pope John Paul II (2005) - this movie is on tv literally every Holy Saturday, I just wish I could find it in English bc I'm sure their polish is ridiculous. Also maybe don't have a 43-year-old play a character between ages 18 and 58 🥴
Haskett's Chance (2006) - i didn't find this one
Law & Order: SVU (2007) - genuinely surprised he didn't end up being the murderer for once.
Psych (2009-2014) - I had my doubts but this was amazing, Pierre is such a legend
Leverage (2012) - the premise of this show sounds so good on paper but something about the execution just doesn't work
Perception (2012) - don't know what much to say about this one, another late afternoon crime show my sister would be obsessed with
Anna Nicole (2013) - surprisingly decent
Granite flats (2014) - I don't really care about the plot so I only watched 2 episodes
The Art of More (2015) - this show is sooo boring
Life in Pieces (2016) - it wasn't funny enough for a sitcom but he was doing his best
Workaholics (2017) - I take it back, I at least chuckled at Life in Pieces, this one was simply not funny at all
Youth & Consequence (2018) - I'm too old to care about Instagram drama
Andre the Giant (2018) - so I know nothing about wrestling but Andre's life was so fascinating and tragic 😞
Stranger Things (2019) - I will watch anything but stranger things, sorry
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2019) - Jane Lynch was shining, you'd barely notice he was there
Katy Keene (2020) - this pic is terrifying but I'm not going back to take a new one, also I'm ok with not knowing anything about Riverdale

so first off . ghost is. a band. but it's actually a front for a satanic church who's trying to spread their message thru rock music. as you do ! it's really silly actually you're not supposed to take them seriously :^) if you follow me for the wrestling think of danhausen they do the same concept :^)
church And band are lead by the pope officially but also this one girlboss queen named sister emperor is the one who actually kinda pulls the strings in the back. besides the pope a handful of liddle demons are summoned to help w the instruments. they're called nameless ghouls but they are divided by element (usually it seems that fire=main guitar, water=bass, air=keys, earth=drums, quintessence=rhythm guitar + some bonus occasional non-elemental ghouls who do Whatever) and somewhere around era 3?? started getting nicknames from the crowd
now. the papas.
this was revealed later in the timeline but Technically Chronologically the /ghost ptoject/ started in the ? 60s or 80s before being discarded for a while and the first papa from back then is someone we know now as papa emeritus 0 aka papa nihil. he's the father of all the following papas. he made the cursed mary on a cross song that's on tiktok these days. but also this is just lore and obviously ghost did Not exist back then irl
in reality the first frontman for ghost was papa emeritus i aka primo (which just means first in italian. this is the pattern for what seem to be the papas' proper first names) there's not much to know abt him as ghost was pretty unknown back then but to me! he seems like a nice old man! who was doing his job more seriously and normally than anyone else! i like him. he made the BANGER that is ritual i feel like everyone knows ritual right like. if you're into the genre even if you're not a big ghost fan we all know ritual don't we.
unfort primo didn't Spread The Word Of Satan far enough so he got booted off the role and got replaced 😔🤙🏻 by the nastiest slightly less old horny man you've ever seen. papa emeritus ii aka secondo he's maybe the coolest looking in some ways i feel like he might be the most iconic. every day he grows on me more and more. he's so fuckin bald. spoke full italian. liked to Party and Fuck. so much so that even tho he did pretty well w the band and the spreading the word and won gold for his album he completely gave up on doing his work as papa !!! he was having too much fun. no work all play. church not happy. booo so he also gets kicked out the band lol
he's replaced by 💜terzo💜 the man of my dreams papa emeritus iii thee icon thee legend thee blueprint for all that is to come. i love his guts. he's the youngest emeritus and everyone has big hopes for him and he delivers! wins a grammy! ghost is at an all time high thanks to his lead! he's doing everything right and perfectly and great :) maybe too great. i have a bit of a theory on what happens to him but what is factual is that this is when the ghouls gain Rights. he starts acknowledging the ghouls by name and it's sweet! his album meliora is like kinda smarter than the others. talks abt Doubts in a way. doubts in the church and what the point of it all is. how church makes you feel worthless and helpless without it. wonders if it's possible or worth it to try to break free. encourages you to take the leap out of heaven and even if now you have to build yourself back up from the ground at least you're free to be yourself. in short to me this is the closest to like real life laveyan satanism where you're your own god and ! the idea that i get is. that terzo was learning to find worth in the individuals (himself, his ghouls) outside of their role in the church and he was maybe on his way to rising above it. so what happens is terzo also gets removed from the band allegedly for becoming too self absorbed. which is bullshit! if anything he's the most selfless! but the THING about terzo is THE WAY that they remove him. before that everytime the papa changed they'd just hand their microphone to their brother during the show and that's it. but with terzo. they lichrally dragged him off the stage during a live show. which like. if they never did that to secondo who actually kinda deserved it there is NO WAY that terzo earned that kind of treatment. so this is just sus to me
anyway after they drag him away nihil walks in, introduces himself, says the party's Over and then we have a period of sede vacante where there's no one filling that role like nihil is Kinda doing it but not really and he's all out of kids so who's gonna be next papa!?!?!
i should say now. this band is very Fake and all about Lore in many ways it's like wrestling storylines. all the papas besides nihil are just The Same Guy in /realistic/ masks and it's all a big show. i forgot to mention this detail to emi last night and she got so confused 😭😭😭
so around this time ghost starts doing a little youtube series to show what's going on in the church in these confusing times and pretty much it's just. sister emperor tells nihil he's too old to do the job and since he doesn't have any more kids (🤔🤔🤔) she suggests they bring forward one of their best cardinals aka copia. nihil isn't feeling it mostly bc he doesn't like the idea of interrupting the bloodline but they come to the conclusion that this is the only way. so sister decides that. since they're interrupting the bloodline. they simply Need to kill primo secondo & terzo (😭😭😭😭) but it's so bullshit bc it's SO OBVIOUS that copia is sister and nihil's bastard secret son that no one seems to know about besides her so why would you do that 😭😭😭 to my old men 😭😭😭😭 ma'am pls that was so unnecessary 😭😭😭
anyway copia becomes front man and drops an album which doesn't do as well as terzo's 😌😌 but before they can doubt copia's place too much nihil fucking Dies so copia needs to be made papa Immediately. so he's papa emetitus iv now. whatever. he might have also figured out he's nihil and sister's kid around this time but it's unclear. regardless he gets plastic surgery w his mom. makes another album which is WEIRD! bc so far every papa has only made one (1) album before getting booted off! but i personally chuck this off to copia being cardinal for his first one and now that he made an album as papa he's not gonna last much longer. which is basically confirmed lol and i hate to say this but i can't wait for him to fuckin GO!!!!! I HOPE HE DIES!!! i cannot forgive him for replacing my man but also he's just sus he might have been more involved than he looks He Took A Picture With Terzo's Decapitated Head which. didn't happen to primo & secondo. they only decapitated terzo. doesn't it feel weird to you. doesn't it feel sus to you. doesn't it feel like adding insult to injury or whatever. why was he done so especially dirty. weird.
so copia's time is about to run out everyone's wondering who'll be next some say nihil (who's been sticking around as a proper ghost) might do it some say terzo's coming back from the DEAD i have no idea but i'm excited to learn! i've been casually listening to ghost since high school but all this lore always intimidated me so much so i'm soooo happy that i finally caved in. ghost fits me really well i think. it's really fun all their songs slap and fuck i cannot recommend them enough. i'm happy to be here for copia's downfall. i'm literally in love with you for asking even if you don't read this i'm thanking you from the bottom of my heart mwah 💜💜

Capcom 40th Anniversary?! Peraí, a empresa foi fundada em 1983?!
De todas as empresas produtoras de games, uma que se destacou muito em games, principalmente no segmento de lutas, foi a Capcom. Porém, o que mais causa estranheza é a data de inauguração da produtora de Mega Man e Street Fighter. A IRM Corporation foi fundada em 30 de Maio de 1979, nesse caso, a Capcom estaria fazendo 44 anos em 2023; Em 11 de Junho de 1983, foi estabelecida a Capcom Co. Ltd, para assumir o departamento de vendas, com os primeiros sucessos sendo Vulgus(1984), 1942(1984), Ghosts 'n Goblins(魔界村), de 1985. Enfim, a Capcom é uma empresa que tem muita tradição, mas que teve de passar por altos e baixos até o dia em que a empresa decidiu se reinventar. Vamos lembrar de algumas franquias espetaculares elaboradas por esta empresa que é uma das mais tradicionais e mirabolantes do Japão no que diz respeito a jogos.
MEGA MAN(ロックマン)
Mega Man surgiu em 1987, mas o primeiro game não foi tão popular, tanto devido à capa malfeita da versão americana, quanto pelas péssimas vendas do primeiro game. Mega Man II(1988), por outro lado, fez um grande sucesso, e ajudou a expandir a franquia para novos horizontes, tais como Mega Man "X"(1993), que apresentou mecânicas inovadoras no SNES, até que no fatídico ano de 2011, em razão da saída de Keiji Inafune da Capcom, Mega Man Legends 3 foi cancelado, o que causou o furor de muitos fãs do personagem. Para compensar a situação relacionada ao Mega Man, e talvez apaziguar os ânimos exaltados dos fãs do Blue Bomber, em 2014, a Nintendo pelo menos lembrou o quão relevante é o personagem para o mundo dos games e o incluiu na lista de lutadores de Super Smash Bros. 4. Para simplificar, Mega Man permaneceu ignorado pela Capcom por sete anos, até que em 2018, de maneira meio atrasada, a Capcom anunciou Mega Man 11, para comemorar os 30 anos de Mega Man.

Você deve estar se perguntando: Qual foi o primeiro Beat 'em up de todos os tempos?! Kung Fu Master, de 1984, é considerado o primeiro beat 'em up da história, no entanto foi Renegade, de 1986, que popularizou o gênero, apresentando temáticas de briga de rua urbana. Em 1989, a Capcom trouxe Final Fight aos arcades e foi estabelecida uma mecânica de gameplay que foi seguida por outros games dentro do mesmo estilo: um personagem é o mais rápido, mas o menos poderoso(Guy), um deles é o mais forte, mas o mais lento(Haggar), e por fim, o terceiro personagem é o mais equilibrado(Cody). Mike Haggar se retirou do mundo dos Wrestlings para se candidatar à prefeitura de Metro City. Quando ele se elegeu como prefeito, teve de lidar com um pequeno inconveniente: Os membros da Mad Gear sequestram Jessica, a filha de Haggar, subornando-o com uma boa quantia em dinheiro para deixá-los fazer o que bem entendam. Haggar se recusou, e ao lado dos dois companheiros dele, Guy e Cody, o recém-eleito prefeito parte para as ruas de Metro City com a missão ousada de descer o sarrafo nos valentões e resgatar a filha dele. Durante a jornada, eles enfrentam Damnd Thrasher, um punk jamaicano, Edi E., um policial corrupto, Os temidos Irmãos Andore, Sodom, um japanófilo(renomeado Katana quando Final Fight foi portado para o SNES), Rolento, um utopista fanático, Abigail, um valentão musculoso, e por fim, o líder deles, Belger. Depois que a Mad Gear foi esmagada com sucesso, Hagar retomou as atividades dele como prefeito em Metro City, Cody e Jessica foram tirar férias, e Guy, por outro lado partiu para treinar e ficar muito mais forte.

Resident Evil
Em um passado distante, a Capcom desenvolveu Sweet Home(1989) para o NES, com base em um filme de terror japonês de mesmo nome. Shinji Mikami e Tokuro Fujiwara queriam fazer um remake de Sweet Home, no entanto, como a Capcom perdeu a licença para fazer qualquer game relacionado a essa obra, eles mudaram o projeto, mas mantiveram os mesmos esquemas horripilantes apresentados em Sweet Home. Em um certo momento, Shinji Mikami estava experimentando um game chamado Alone in the Dark, e com isso veio a ideia de utilizar uma câmera estática em primeira pessoa. Em 1996, a Capcom lançou Biohazard(バイオハザード) para o PlayStation no Japão, e internacionalmente o game foi renomeado como Resident Evil, inaugurando o gênero Survival Horror, e rapidamente se transformou em um sucesso. A premissa básica de Resident Evil é abater zumbis, e se possível, correr deles. O sucesso de Resident Evil levou à produção de Resident Evil 2 em 1998, sendo o único da trilogia inicial a ser portado para o Nintendo 64, enquanto a versão de PlayStation tinha dois CDs, um com a imagem de Leon, outro com a imagem de Claire, a diferença de gameplay estava no personagem que o jogador escolhia. Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, de 1999, trouxe Jill como protagonista, no entanto, com um pequeno problema: ela tem de correr de um gigante irritante chamado Nemesis, que a persegue implacavelmente enquanto ele proclama o famoso bordão STARS.
Monster Hunter

Depois veio Monster Hunter 3(2009), e a versão melhorada, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate(2013), Monster Hunter 4(2013) foi lançado ao Nintendo 3DS, no entanto, permaneceu apenas no Japão, dois anos mais tarde, em 2015, o Nintendo 3DS recebeu uma versão melhorada, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate(モンスターハンター 4G). Pode-se dizer que Monster Hunter é uma das franquias mais rentáveis da Capcom, e a arrecadação atual chegou a 95 milhões de unidades vendidas, isso contando os 63 títulos da franquia, sendo que maior parte deles ficou apenas no Japão. O atual título da série é Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak(2022). Monster Hunter Stories(2016) é um spin-off mais family-friendly, que apresenta elementos típicos de JRPG.
Ghosts N Goblins
No ano de 1985, a Capcom trouxe ao público japonês um game chamado Makaimura(魔界村), que é um primo distante de Resident Evil. Na premissa básica do game, Arthur, um cavaleiro doidão, deve percorrer os mais diversos ambientes matando monstros numa tentativa de resgatar a Princesa Prin Prin. à primeira vista, Arthur chega a ser imponente usando armadura, mas basta ele levar um esbarrão que ela é esmigalhada, e o cavaleiro descarado fica trajado apenas de boxers, e no segundo hit, ele se transforma em uma pilha de ossos, o que representa as mortes no game. Na ocasião do lançamento ocidental, Makaimura teve o nome mudado para Ghosts 'n Goblins, ou seja, sofreu uma leve censura nos EUA em relação a temas cristãos, por exemplo, a cruz, a única arma capaz de ferir Astaroth, foi mudada para um escudo. Ghosts 'n Goblins também é muito punitivo, forçando os jogadores a jogar uma segunda campanha com jogabilidade mais desafiadora do que na primeira, para só assim Arthur derrotar Astaroth, então os jogadores podem ver o final verdadeiro. Ghouls n Ghosts foi lançado em 1988 e a novidade da vez permitiu Arthur lançar os ataques pra cima e pra baixo, e uma armadura dourada que permitia carregar as habilidades especiais das armas, enquanto que Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts(1991), deu ao cavaleiro Arthur a possibilidade de efetuar um salto duplo, com o segundo salto impossível de ser controlado, no entanto, a Capcom removeu a possibilidade de atirar pra cima, alegando veementemente que os jogadores já estavam acostumados com a jogabilidade presente em Mega Man, o que definitivamente não faz nenhum sentido.
Devil May Cry
Devil May Cry estreou em 2001 no PlayStation 2, reinventando a fórmula clássica dos beat 'em ups no estilo Hack 'n Slash. A obra de Hideki Kamiya, que seria o hipotético Resident Evil 4 que nunca saiu do papel, tem como protagonista principal um caçador de demônios, Dante, que estranhamente é um demônio, mas que tem que enfrentar um exército de demônios que quer invadir a Terra. Um dos atributos de Devil May Cry é o sistema de combos, derivado de Onimusha, cujo glitch permitia aos jogadores efetuar uma sessão de combos nos inimigos. O sucesso de Devil May Cry levou a franquia para novos horizontes, com a única ovelha negra da franquia sendo DMC: Devil May Cry(2013), que era para ser um reboot da série, mas que no fim das contas acabou por causar desânimo e frustração em muitas pessoas. Depois de seis anos de espera, em 2019, a Capcom trouxe Devil May Cry 5, que acabou atraindo um grande interesse do público, e tornando-se o game de melhores vendas da franquia...

One of the most talented rappers in the history of Hip-Hop, Scarface’s legacy has long been established. He’s one of the most consistent artists in music — not just rap — with a discography that was birthed in the late 80s and reaches well into the 2010’s. His influence is just as wide—he’s influenced street weary, perceptive rap just as he has rappers who wrestle with their mental and emotional health, questioning their surroundings and their concept of God.

One of Face’s best songs in his long discography came on his 2000 offering, Last of a Dying Breed. Over a pounding beat he produced with N.O. Joe and Mr. Lee, he covers a lot – from his loyalty to Rap-A-Lot and J. Prince despite the feds poking around, to dropping another chilling story about seeing a psychiatrist and having a God-experience during the visit.
