Marilyn Monroe in a costume test for her character Joyce Mannering in Let’s Make It Legal (1951). In her small role, she starred alongside Claudette Colbert and McDonald Carey, who later remembered, “One day I was in make-up, there was Marilyn being made up too. She was pleasant enough, but when it was time to go to set they sent a big limo for her, and the jeep for me. She only had a few lines to say!”

Every Brainia Scene Ever: 6x01 [5/5]
#supergirl#supergirledit#brainia#brainiaedit#brainiac 5#nia nal#querl dox#dreamdox#where to even start with this scene huh?#the fact that Nia’s so nervous to bring up what he said on the ship in case it was just a heat of the moment thing#and how Brainy’s clearly trying to figure out if this means what he thinks it means because he just can’t believe it#how is it possible that Nia Nal is offering him a second chance after everything he’s done? After he hurt her?#and that disbelief immediately morphing into the Brainy we see every time he talks about Nia’s capabilities- if there’s one thing that#you can count on it’s Brainy’s utter faith in Nia as a hero#(and the almost deprecating acknowledgement of the fact that Nia doesn’t need protecting#he KNOWS - he’s spent the last few months not being able to be by her side knowing she’s taking on Dominators and who knows what else)#and his little gasp when she confirms she loves him too. Like it’s clearly where the conversation was headed#but it’s more than he had dared even dream of let alone allow himself to hope for since the moment he broke her heart#and the way the tears are beginning to fall down his face in earnest by the time she offers the pinky promise (a legally binding contract)#they’re both fully committed to making this work to being completely transparent with each other this time#and after Nia remained so dedicated to keeping her promise to him in spite of the break up I can only imagine how deep this one goes#his little inhale as she’s nuzzling into his shoulder just kills me#he’s so completely overwhelmed by everything that’s just happened#Once again you can’t convince me that that’s not her SPOT on his shoulder#the way she’s nuzzling in like she just can’t get close enough#and the fact that even though their pinkies never unlock his free hand falls to her knee to increase their points of contact even further#there’s so much left to deal with but in that moment they’re the only two people in the world#my gifs#otp: what does love feel like?#*ebs

This anon was right in that I wasn't planning on doing any more stuff for the JTTW Actors AU but they were also spot on in identifying old married Chinese MLMs as my weakness

the way they don’t HAVE to keep emphasizing how HAPPY eddie is around buck and chris and how important buck is to THEIR FAMILY they could just focus on eddie not being happy with ana but they KEEP LINING THEM UP ONE RIGHT AFTER THE OTHER

It’s an Elseworlds story (not canon), it’s consensual but not really romantic in context and Grant Morrison’s writing is so hit or miss for me. However, getting to see Diana kiss a woman in the comics (and it’s Artemis!!!) is still better than nothing.
(Wonder Woman: Earth One, Vol. 3 for those who want to know)

rewatched the Kitchen Scene (TM). they were insane for that. how am I meant to interpret that. how. how. if my friend walked up to be clutching her belt buckle I would assume she was trying to fuck. my friend has literally asked me if she could "tap that" and it was less gay than whatever the fuck was going on in that scene. my other friend asking me if I wanted to see her nipple piercing in front of god and everybody in our cooking class was less gay than that. me literally making out with the girl down the street was less gay than that. they wrote that and went "yeah they're just bros". or did they. that had to have been on purpose they had to have known how it looked.
