Oooooohhh I just thought. I just thought about Akutagawa coming back to his senses after being a vampire and meeting Atsushi. And Atsushi is still so confused by everything that happened and is unable to process it yet, unble to unriddle what Akutagawa's sacrifice meant for him, for them. Which translates in him getting into a fight - verbal, this time, only barely physical - with Akutagawa, because he shouldn't have sacrificed himself! He shouldn't have given his life for something so worthless as his own! Why is he always so impulsive, why couldn't he stop himself to think before acting so carelessly! Why doesn't he value his life more, why is he so inconsiderate! And Atsushi can't even explain why it hurts so much, and it's so frustrating, so he just lashes out at Akutagawa, because he can tell that he's the origin of all this pain, so it must be something he's done that hurts him so much, it must be his fault as it always is; all the while Akutagawa hardly deflects, annoyed and displeased and distantly angry, unable to readily come up with any rational retort. Until Atsushi bursts out an “and all of that just to follow Dazai-san's orders! When will you learn that your life is more important than what he thinks of you!” to which Akutagawa, up to that moment barely irritated, freezes for several seconds, dumbfounded, and with newly raised fury and disgust manages to spit out “You think all of it was for Dazai-san?”

Okay, no, it hasn't, but I'm still late xD Well, the pool where I'm working at just shut down for a while, we had a... big problem with the pipes and yeah, I got some days off until they fixed it, perfect.

So let's go, the Four Horsemen of the Legion for Fighting Miramons, and Li Ling's idiocy!

Headcanons on how the four commanders would react to ships involving them (thanks for the request @elsaedelweiss !)

Little Disclaimer: This is based on the Lore Info I got on them, sadly I don't have any of these four Espers and have battle experience with them, but I hope that isn't a problem xD

Gabrielle (Njord)

She is a direct and honest person, so I don't think she'd even try to surpress any emotions here.

And emotional it'll get.

When she was told, that people are shipping here with different colleagues, she was confused, then in denial, then she nervously laughed.

The thought of her being shipped with other people seems to be very unrealistic to her since she isn't exactly the romantic type. But eventually, after some nights of sleep about it, she finds the thought of her being shipped quite funny.

So now Gabrielle is running around, randomly leaning over to a person, saying "Ey. You know, people are shipping us. Come on, let's do the fans a favor." . And then she revels in them getting flustered.

Falken (Horus)

He doesn't even know what shipping is, so the situation gets quite... strange.

After explaining to Falken what shipping means, his face slowly turns into a disturbed frown, the "What-the-Fuck"-brow is raised as well.

And after that, he's not seen again for a longer time.

Where did he wander off to? Well, with him being... a curious little birdie, he decided to look up some of the ships.

After that, he didn't touch a phone for a month or so, only responding to very very very important calls from Raven or so.

He was quite terrified, but only because, well, he managed to find the... dirty side of fandoms first. Which was a grave mistake.

Maybe he'll come around and get more interested in the Fluff Stuff, but the more explicit things? Hell no, he'll burn his phone.

Donar (Thor)

Oh he loves shipping.

This man needs praise and he gets pretty excited by the role many ships tend to give him.

Much like Gabrielle, he enjoys it in the end and finds the sheer thought of crazy or cozy stories written about him (and others) quite thrilling.

His arrogance may kick in from time to time, even to the point that he might go to the significant other in the story and tell them about it. And he's brutally honest about it. Every little detail.

Eventually, they get so annoyed, Li Ling and Tang Xuan as well as Q bann him from any social media platform they can find. Mostly because he takes up all the space in conversations, not particularly because they despise shipping.

Lin Xiao (White Tiger)

She's a bit hesitant at first, not sure what to expect when people tell her about certain 'ships'.

But after learning more about them, she has numerous reactions, that threaten to tear down half of the Union Headquarters.

She freaks out, then gets very confused, after that she's a flustered mess with burning cheeks and after THAT, Gabrielle takes her under her wing and explains to her, that it's just fiction and people's imagination, so she doesn't have to be worried.

Does that help?

No.

But after a while, Lin Xiao becomes a bit more... accustomed to the existence of fanfiction and fanart and after that settles in, she finds her old corage again.

And then? She teams up with Gabrielle, starting to harrass everyone and everything with funny jokes about ships and love interests in general.

Well, until Raven tells everyone to shut the fuck up and behave.

Whew, that was fun! Sorry I'm so late though, a few things happened during the weekend and I literally didn't have any time to do some research and think about what they'd do if they found out about shipping, so.... Yes, I am very sorry.

Who's your favorite Beifong? And who do you ship them with?

First of all, I already love you to the 'yue' and back for this ♡ Ty, I'm virtually holding your hand rn!

"Who's your favorite Beifong?" Now that.. requires a huge @$$ long answer, babe! Grab a coffee and seat down. ☕️ — I have three different answers to this, organized by category, because I can't simply just choose one Beifong, so.. ◇ My favorite based on "emotional attachment" is definitely Suyin (kinda of an unpopular choice). I simply can't help but love every aspect of her, she's so beautiful, bright and collected - I love how against all odds she overcame her traumas the healthiest way she could, rebuilt her whole life, never gave up on reconnecting with the people she loved and missed after all, etc. I have an immense amount of respect for her - she's the personification of growth, maturity and forgiveness. And I love that for her for many reasons! Her adult self reminds me a bit of Sokka in a way, that probably helped to establish my "emotional attachment" towards her as well! ◇ My favorite based on "complexity and strength" would be obviously Lin. Lin is the character I validate and understand the most too, I enjoy analyzing her whole story and personality. I'm a Psychology student, so it makes sense to me that I loved her instantly and so much (apart from being a Toph seed), she was presented to us as the typical tough character ofc but I was amazed how many layers she turned out to have, how profound and complicated her traumas, choices and path turned out to be. I love and respect Lin for reasons that are completely different from Su (they are completely opposites). Lin's psychological strength (physical too, ofc), courage and endlessly emphaty always get me. I would fight anyone just to protect her! ◇ And of course, my number one girl.. Ultimate Favorite in the entire franchise.. the ORIGINAL Beifong; TOPH!! I don't even think I need to explain myself on this one, do I?? Everything I listed about her daughters comes from Toph Beifong and even her imperfections are kinda perfect to me, she is one of the most brilliant characters in the franchise hand down. In fact I believe their daughters inherited a lot of Toph's values, beliefs and characteristics. They are her legacy in a way, probably part of the reason I love them so much too. But anyways.

For Su; Suyin/Baatar Sr. ◇ For Lin; Linzin & Kyalin, maybe Linzumi too — I do think Lin & Tenzin are soulmates who could never be though (This is actually a can of worms, 'cause I have A LOT to say regarding this entire ship!). ◇ And for Toph; Tokka yesterday, Tokka today and Tokka for always!♡ I can't actually picture Toph with anyone else, for some reason. I tried (with her other love interests and all).. But It's just not it for me. Kanto we've never even seen & Satoru was more of a simp - nothing against it but it kills the mood for me that he's a fanboy who'd spend their whole relationship praising her & kissing the ground she steps on, not into that for Toph (or any human being) in a relationship. — While with Sokka (even tho it was just a childhood crush & he was a bit older) I think they were a perfect match for a future relationship; They were opposites in the right amount, but also pretty similar (in terms of sense of humor and some values). I love how they completed each other in their dynamic, how Sokka was so kind, supportive and understanding - they had a real profound bond and he was always offering to help her out (if needed) or trying to protect her, even tho she hated to be treated like that; he was her exception. And Toph genuinely respected him (jokes apart) & would consider his opinions, even embracing his stupid ideas. It was simple and sweet. Not to mention the fact that Sokka would never pick fights with her (not that I remember), whenever Katara would ask him to intervene in their fights he'd be like "Nah, leave me out of this" and I do think that that's what intrigued Toph, he would listen to her & validate her feelings since Day 1. Then we cut to TLOK; at Yakone's trial when Sokka is giving that sentenced speech and start praising Toph for developing the Metalbending skill by herself; his facial expression immediately changes to something more affectionate (genuinely smiling at her), then Old Toph telling Korra about when she taught Aang earthbending and feeling the need to mention what happened to Sokka that day (should've been insignificant, but she kept that memory from that day) and then Suyin & Lin's small details or characteristics that were related to Sokka in ATLA (Like their usage of adapted metal swords to fight, Su's collection of meteorites, how Sokka was always praising Toph for inventing the Metalbending and later Su building a whole city out of it where Toph's achievement would be praised and immortalized for once and all, not to mention Su & some members of the family looking like Sokka, I'm pretty sure that was purposely done by the creators in a way to keep Sokka's design, idk & it makes me the happiest that it was done in the Beifong family). It's impossible not to acknowledge the impact Sokka had on Toph, they truly loved each other and loved being around each other. Romantically or not, canon or not - it's impossible for me not to ship them.♡

After almost two weeks playing Dislyte I have learned…

Mona is awesome and a good starter, she carries early game she‘s still carrying me and my main team together with Tang Xuan, even tho I‘m level 43

I really want her overpriced skin. And I‘m really considering buying it. someone pls stop me

You can get characters without 'wishing'. It takes some time and you have to be fast with certain characters, but that’s a really nice feature (Ripple Dimension)

Ye Suhua and Dhalia are most wanted ripples, everyone will fight for them including me

Stamina fills up much faster than Resin in Genshin, which is awesome but also understandable. It‘s also easier to get more without having to buy with Crystals or other currencies.

There is autoplay it took me several days until I noticed that, how fucking embarrassing is that and you can speed up the game up to 3x

Most People are wholesome and you rarely come across actual assholes.

Channel 8 is the sniffer channel, everyone hates them, but they help and answer questions if you have some. And then they go back to sniffing, which- okay just let them do their thing.

Channel 14 is my to go channel, many Suhua and Dhalia drops hehe

Once, Channel 1 and 2 were the best, but now they are like every other channel (or so they say)

Leveling up is super fast and rather easy, your own level and the ones of your characters.

Clearing the 100th floor on Infinity Tower commands the highest respect, followed by dropping Suhua/Dhalia ripples and telling the channel before, and last getting double or tripple legendaries in a ten pull.

Li Ling slaps sadly I don’t have him

Tang Xuan and Tang Yun are twins (which I didn’t realize until someone mentioned it)

You have to build more than five characters (to form a team) since not every team and formation is fit for different bosses.

Artifacts are still a pain.

For every character there is a page with strategy, filled with infos about the character, which artifacts most people use, which teams are the best and comments about the characters most of them are just thirsts

Drew hits different and is probably the reason why many started playing Dislyte.

Lin Xiao is recognized tiger mommy.

New character Ollie got thrown into a wardrobe, tangled in the clothes, came out like he is rn and they said "we like it picasso"

Character designs absolutely slap, love every single one of them yes, even ollie

Q is the most hated character, which okay, I understand. But in the beginning this little dude was part of my team and maybe I‘m just too shit with these games- but he was useful to me

honestly, i just really like this game and it had me hooked since the beginning and my interest is not going poof. which happens rather often with games. i usually play them for max a week, intense and getting really into it, but then my interest and motivation for these games say bye bye. dislyte is the only game, together with genshin, i‘ve been playing longer than a week. let’s pray it doesn’t change lmao

I feel like LoK didn't treat scars as respectfully and sympathetically as it did in ATLA. I mean, Lin never got any justice for what happened to her face and unlike with Azula and Zuko, the narrative doesn't hold a woman who hurt her own sibling and never said sorry accountable. The cables could've cut her neck or her eye and Suyin has the nerve to call her a bitter loner? Like Suyin the reason Lin is a bitter loner but okay Suyin, jog on, you terrible sister.

the way lin was treated not only by the narrative but by her own family was a major reason for why i stopped watching legend of korra. it felt like such a turn from the way we acknowledged zuko’s trauma in his scar & how harmful azula was to him in her abuse, to then essentially blaming lin for her own trauma & being scarred.

suyin needs to be put in the bin fr. lin supremacy in this household ✨
