I‘m jumping around so wildly in my WIPs for Haladrielweek at the moment I don’t even know what I wrote last…

So have a little from my First age, both Mairon and Artanis are Aulë’s apprentices AU:

Some long-honed instinct warns him just in time to throw back his head before she can bite him, her teeth clicking together worryingly close to his nose.

“Will you just yield, you little spitfire?” he snarls at her, starting to lose the already fraying hold on his temper, his eye pulsing in agony. “I do not mean you any harm.”

She only bares her - very white and even - teeth at him again. “I seriously doubt that. You accosted me, you evil brute.”

“I accosted you?” A disbelieving laugh escapes Mairon. “You hit me. And tried to bite me.”

Blue eyes narrow dangerously, no remorse in them whatsoever. “Only to defend myself when you grabbed me without warning. And cause.”

And - set in the same universe - a Varda/Melkor tidbit:

Melkor can feel the warmth of her body underneath the shimmer-soft silk of her dress when he lifts her up as the dance demands, skirts fluttering in a wave of darkest black and glittering stars. Hands on her waist just a little too tight, bordering on painful.

He wants to bare her to him, wants to sink his fingers into her flesh until her heat, her light, scorches him.

Their eyes meet and hold.

Tonight. Varda‘s face is expressionless, beautiful and cold, not unlike the fine marble statues the Vanya love to create in worship of their Lady of the Light. It does not betray even a hint of the breathlessness in her mind voice.

She is good at that. Pretending to be indifferent. Untouched. Perhaps because she does not pretend. Perhaps because he has never touched her. Not really.

Sometimes he fears he imagined it all. That he is as insane as Tulkas claims.

LINE PokoPoko x Yu Yu Hakusho

LINE is holding a collaboration event between the match puzzle game "LINE PokoPoko" (iPhone/Android) and "Yu Yu Hakusho."

Event Period: February 29 to March 21, 2024

Yusuke Urameshi, Kazuma Kuwabara, Kurama, Hiei, Toguro Brothers, Genkai, Youko Kurama, Koenma, and Botan will appear as limited collaboration friends. In addition, limited LINE stamps (8 types in total) will also be distributed.

Distribution Period: March 5 to March 21, 2024 (check the game for details on how to obtain them)

You need to check the in-game notices for information and details about the various events, and how to obtain each character and period.

For example, Yusuke Urameshi Event Stage, "collect spirit guns", is being held until March 8. There are 10 stages in total, if you clear all of them with a certain score, you will be able to recruit the collaboration-limited friend Yusuke Urameshi as a reward!

Hiei's Gathering Friends Mission is being held until March 19. If you gather all the friends of the target event, you'll make Hiei your friend.

There's also the "Kurama Game Center" (until March 14) and "Kazuma Kuwabara's Star Knot Event" (until Match 21).

You can answer a quiz as well! If you answer it correctly, you'll get in-game items.

By logging into LINE PokoPoko, you will receive Botan as a collaboration limited friend.

Lastly, if you follow the official LINE PokoPoko X account and repost campaign posts, you can win Amazon gift cards or other in-game items.

My Dick/ My Vagina (Line Game/Short Form)

A standard line game where players stand on a back line, one player will ask the audience for a suggestion and then players will step out to tell a joke in the format of “My Dick or My Vagina” which goes “My dick/vagina is like a (blank object) it ______”

So for example we might hear the suggestion postcard we might hear: “My dick/vagina is like a postcard it always comes late” or “My vagina/dick is like a postcard is like to be licked” etc. Like any line game confidence is key and the backline should support whoever is telling the joke at the time.

"i don't like gay men, your ass is not meant for penetration, it's nasty as fuck and unnatural and the way they act is so annoying" a post I unfortunately saw on here that had an unexpected amount of likes and op was surprisingly a lesbian and a terf, i'm still to this day baffled when i see homophobia and transphobia within our own damn community

It’s not really surprising when you consider that TERFs generally hate men as it is and that is what fuels their hatred of trans women. They might fill their shit hole with words about caring for gay men, about being so concerned about tran women “not accepting what they are”, but in reality they will only care about no one else but themselves as long it benefit them. There is a post somewhere about Graham Linegam, a infamously transphobic guy that is more than happy to repeat TERFs’s talking points, trying to enter into one of their spaces and getting told to fuck off because he was a man and therefore HE was invading. It was pretty funny, but also very telling of how they are when they think nobody is watching or don’t care about who watches. The idea in general that anal sex is exclusive of gay men (and “unnatural” as a result) is also painfully conservative, so that is a nice touch.
