Sunday evening was a joy - first, a homecooked family dinner, followed by a sweet treat brought all the way from Berlin and watching a film in bed with a perfectly brewed pot of green tea a friend brought from China. Today, I started the day by having a heart-to-heart with a friend, cleaning the car and the windows and taking the dog for a little stroll around the block.
Things on mind
Clean car
Clean windows
Clean kitchen

Absolutely insane lines to just drop in the middle of an academic text btw. Feeling so normal about this.

"You know, love doesn't mean "l never want you to change." But I don't think it means "I don't care if you change" either. So I suppose it might mean, "I believe that you'll always be the person I adore." A declaration of faith, perhaps."

unstoppable force (i want to see this tragic character survive and heal) vs immovable object (their death was the most thematic and narratively satisfying resolution possible for their character arc and anything less than death just feels cheap)

"Authors should be allowed to explore dark themes in fiction! WRITING IS NOT CONDONING!"
That's so cool dude I agree with you absolutely!!! I am also against censorship and purity politics in fiction!!!! Wait dude- what are you doing- why did your white MC just call their POC love interest a racial slur and assault them......... ah........ I'm "moral policing" you???........ I see I see , my bad....... I just thought when you said you're "anti censorship" it meant you wanted to meaningfully explore complex themes in fiction........ oh nvm you just wanted to write a dark romance with a barely legal teen banging a 35 year old and not be judged for it........ My bad dude. My bad.
