Can I just say that the whole ‘Loki f*cking the Grandmaster to get to the top’ always made me super uncomfortable, and I legit thought I was crazy for being the only person (that I knew) that thought Loki was clearly weirded out by the whole situation because everyone else thought he was??? But then I found you and your blog and tags made me feel so relieved because... idk that’s just not some he would really do. He’s extremely intelligent. Pretty sure boi could think of another plan besides sleeping around. Any ways thank you for having such an awesome blog, you are most definitely one of my favorites 😌😌😁

#loki is already a character that struggles with agency and the end of his arc should've been a self reclamation of it #ragnarok had a lot of inconsistencies but the fact that such a large portion of the fandom thinks loki/grandmaster is canon is... worrisome #the concept of loki showing up and adapting to the situation by sleeping his way to the top is hilarious #but only because it implies loki chose to do that #what we see in canon is loki being pressurized by the grandmaster who is generally being a creep #it's made a whole lot worse when loki is clearly uncomfortable and the grandmaster is still there all >:) ing at him #if Loki was literally any other character people wouldn't have done this #if you replace Loki with any female character the Grandmaster's behaviour instantly becomes ''worse'' #and keep in mind that no one shipped Valkyrie and the Grandmaster despite her being heavily implied to have been in previous relationships #she's been there for MILLENNIA and there's the cheek pat and Grandmaster saying he likes her and she's his favourite or whatever #not to mention she knows which ships are for orgies and stuff??? #WHO of the two of them is more likely to have been involved with him??? #of what we've seen Loki barely even drinks (which is completely in character for him! good for him!) #Loki STOLE the codes for the Grandmasters ships while VALKYRIE knew what the ship was for and HOW TO FLY THE THING #seriously #the only way Grandmaster and Loki was working out was if it was abusive #I see the interpretation that the GM was TRYING to get in his pants and Loki wasn't letting him as way more canon compliant #either that or the GM is just a touchy person who doesn't respect personal boundaries which is still really weird and low-key harassment #VALKYRIE was the one fully accustomed to Sakaarian culture with the deleted scene with tentacle food and whatnot #if we're really here to argue on who else is more likely to have slept with the Grandmaster can I suggest the HULK?? he was there longer too #everyone picks on Loki because he made his way to a powerful position and people think he's useless because marvel nerfs him constantly #of course people jump to ''oh he got there in only 2 weeks through dodgy means'' when they believe Thor's prison speech was true #the Grandmaster called thor SEXY are we just not going to mention THAT???? #the dude was flirting with E V E R Y O N E #why do people gotta pick on Loki when he's shown less than ZERO interest

You didn’t remember how you got on Sakaar in the first place. One moment you were on your way to Midgard to meet up with Thor and the next moment you woke up on a strange planet. Brunnhilde found you when you just woke and brought you to the Grandmaster. She initially introduced you to the Grandmaster as a new Champion, because you didn’t let her take you without a fight. Luckily for you the Grandmaster liked you too much to put you in the arena, so you became his personal servant. There wasn’t a day that went by where you didn’t think about escaping, but you also knew you needed a solid plan or otherwise you would end up in the Arena after all. 

During the last weeks you heard rumours about an Asgardian who arrived on Sakaar even the Grandmaster spoke of him. Every time you asked the Grandmaster to meet the Asgardian he refused, at one point he even forbid you to watch the Contest of the Champions with him because the Asgardian would be there. So instead of watching them with him you had found yourself a spot where you watched with some other servants. Today was just another normal day, the Grandmaster had excused you as he was going to watch the Championship while you sneaked to your own spot. “Y/N, there you are. I thought you were going to miss it.” Emily whispered. Emily was a little younger than you were but she was a servant since she could remember. “The Grandmaster took a little longer today.” You explained “Well you’re just in time, I heard they have a new Champion.” Emily said excited “I hope he is not too much attached to his life then. The Hulk is going to crush him.” The two of you were silently cheering during the small duels, Korg was your absolute favourite, while Emily liked Miek more. It was not until the Grandmaster announced his new contender that you fell completely silent, never in a million years did you expect your old friend to show up on Sakaar, let alone in the Arena. “Y/n, is everything okay? y/n?” Emily waved her hand in front of your eyes “It can’t be.” You barely whispered

“Do you know him?” “That’s Thor, he is the Crown prince of my home planet.” “Is he..” Emily was silent for a moment

You shook your head “No it’s his brother, Thor was one of my closest friends. What is he doing in the Arena, I have to get him out.” You started to panic. You felt the urge to run and get him out of the arena but Emily brought you back to reality. “Y/N, you can’t do anything right now, the grandmaster will have your head if you get in there. We just have wait to see if he’s going to make it.” “He is going to make it, he has fought with him before.” You tried to calm yourself.

It had been an intense fight, you were in every state when it was over but at least Thor had survived the fight. You made your way to the Champions room, one of the few privileges you had gotten from the Grandmaster. When he saw how much you enjoyed the championship he had allowed you to meet the Hulk, who also had gotten very fond of you. Something that was an advantage for you right now. The guards let you in without so much as a second glance and you could see that The Hulk was in a fun fight with the Valkyrie. “Sweet girl!” The hulk said excited when he noticed you coming into the room. “If it isn’t the Grandmasters favourite toy.” A small grin appeared on Brunnhilde her face. “Good to see you too.” Even though she was initially the one who brought you to the Grandmaster the two of you eventually became friends. “Hulk you got any idea where Thor is?” The hulk huffed “Puny god.” Before you he could give you a response you heard Thor’s voice “Lady Y/n?” “Thor!” It felt like the weight of the world had fallen of your shoulders when you felt his arms pulling you in a hug. “Is this where you have been all this time? I thought we had lost you.” “What’s more important is what you are doing here.” You insisted him to tell you everything. Thor told you everything, from his fights on Midgard to the sudden appearance of a sister he never heard off. “Bottom of the line, we need to get you to Asgard as quickly as possible.” “If Hela is back, then asgard’s already lost.” Valkyrie shook her head. “I’m going to stop her.” Thor disagreed with her. “We are going to stop her.” You agreed with him “Good luck with that you’ll need it.” Valkyrie wanted to walk away but Thor stopped her “The Valkyrie are legend, elite warriors of Asgard sworn to defend the throne.” “Look, I already faced her once back when I believed in the throne, and it cost me everything. That’s what’s wrong with Asgard.” “I agree.” Thor grabbed her arm which earned him a blade to his throat. You wanted to kick her ass but Thor stopped you. “But this is about the people, our people. Do what you want, enslave people, keep drinking and hiding. But I’m not running away from my problems, but towards them because that’s what heroes do.” Thor tossed a ball to the window causing it to crack. “Come on Brunn.” You tried “We can do this together.” But she just shook her head. “Let’s go y/n.” Thor held out his hand, which you took before he told you to hold on tight and jumped out of the window. The next thing you was that the Hulk came after you destroyed your single chance to get out of there and turned into a tiny little man. While the three of you tried to move through the city you bumped into Brunnhilde once more, who suddenly had a change of heart. “So you are going to help us now?” You questioned “Yes. And I got a peace offering. “ The door went open and you absolutely structed when you saw him sitting in the chair. Thor forgot to mention about Loki, now didn’t he know about your past. “Surprise.” He said with that grin you used to be so familiar with. Thor and Bruce were the first to walk in, Thor took something and tossed it at his head. “Just had to be sure.” He said Loki wanted to respond but that moment he saw you standing in the door opening, his grin was replaced by one of his rare but very generous smiles “Hi Y/N.” “Loki? You’re the Asgardian that has been here all these weeks?” You asked in disbelieve “You were the Grandmaster’s personal servant?” The others were discussing something but you couldn’t pull your focus from Loki. “I was..” “Time has been good to you, you look beautiful as ever y/n.” Loki complemented you “I could say the same about you, for someone who had supposedly died twice.” “So we need a ship, Y/N got any ideas?” Thor asked you grabbing your attention once again. “There are one or two ships, absolute top of the line models…” Valkyrie started “I don’t mean to impose.” Loki interrupted her, which earned him a bottle thrown at his head If looks could kill she would have died there on the spot from your look “Throw another bottle at him and you’ll get dragged through the glass.” You threatened her “Oh god y/n don’t tell me that he already has you wrapped you around his finger.” Valkyrie shook her head. “That’s my business.” You told your friend. “But.” Loki tried to get the attention again “The grandmaster has a great many ships, I may even have stolen the access codes to his security system.” He explained You shook your head “Of course you stole them, what else is new.” Something in you had this idea of him being a changed man, but of course he hadn’t. “I know, but I’ve run out of favour with the Grandmaster, and in exchange for codes and access to a ship, I’m asking safe passage through the anus.” Loki could feel the disappointment. And while the others discussed if it was safe to let him in on the escape plan he could feel your eyes burning on his skin. Thor came up with a plan to start a revolution and the five of you were going to split up in two groups. “Y/n.” When it was time to split up you felt Loki’s hand wrapping around you arm, holding you back “I want to say something” “We don’t have time for this Loki, I know we didn’t work but we have to work together to save our home.” You knew it was better to set your feelings that were still there aside. “You’re right, we can do that.” His grip around your arm loosened. It was not what he wanted to say, but he knew when it was time to let you go. That’s where you ways parted, Loki went with Thor while you went with Bruce and Valkyrie. When Thor came back with the ship and hadn’t brought Loki you could barely resist the urge to stay on Sakaar and start looking for him. Then again, you knew it was more important to save your home than it was to talk to the man you once loved. When the four of you finally returned to Asgard it was even worse than you had expected it to be. Hela had been under pressing the Asgardians, torturing them and right now she was on her way to slaughter them. The only thing between your people an army of death soldiers and Fenris were the Hulk, Heimdall and you. To say that you were outnumbered would have been a soft expression, until he returned. “Your saviour is here!” he announced, while he urged the people to get on the ship “You always know how to make and entrance, don’t you?” You yelled to Loki. “I couldn’t let you take them on all by yourself, could I?” His teasing grin back on his face “Well I had the Hulk, Heimdall and Brunnhilde, I wouldn’t say I was alone.” “Never been one for a simple thank you have you?” Loki stabbed someone next to you “Dug!” You yelled while throwing a knife just passed his face to one of the soldiers. “It would have made out relationship way to easy, now wouldn’t it?” When Thor got back to you without killing his sister, you knew it was far from over “What do we do now? Hela is to strong.” “Hit her with a lightning blast brother.” Loki suggested “It just hit her with the biggest blast I ever created and it did nothing.” Thor pointed out. “Holding her off won’t do it, the longer she is on Asgard the more powerful she grows. We need to stop her here and now.” “So what do we do?” “I’m not doing ‘get help’.” Loki tried to lighten the mood “Shut up Loki.” You told him When Thor said that Asgard was not a place, but a people you and Loki exchanged a look. Both knowing exactly what the oldest prince was thinking. “This was about causing ragnarok, not stopping it. Surtur’s crown, the vault. It’s the only way.” With that one sentence Thor confirmed your feelings. “Bold move brother. He was barely finished speaking when Surtur raised from the crown, and as soon as he did he started to destroy everything around him. “Let’s go love.” Loki took your hand and the two ran as fast as you could going after the already leaving ship with your people on board. You looked through the window of the ship, you had just witnessed your home planet being destroyed in front of your eyes. Before you realized Loki had gotten down on one knee “Lady y/n I promise that if you take me back, I will never leave you again as long as I’m alive.”
