"I like this morally grey character with villainous motives and intentions because they've suffered unspeakable tragedy as a young person and have witnessed bigotry and hatred firsthand and I relate to them because of it and even though they're not going about it the right way their heart's in the right place" and "I like this morally grey character with villainous motives and intentions because they're hot" are ideas that can coexist
y'all really think we don't know coriolanus snow, son of crassus xanthos snow, is a (future) dictator and mass murderer who is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent people, the vast majority of whom are children, including finnick odair??? y'all really think we don't know that even as a youth he's already a controlling, narcissistic, scheming, calculating, traitorous son of a bitch?
you've severely underestimated our powers of media literacy, and also of knowing the difference between reality and fucking fiction.
One of my favorite genres of male character probably has to be the guy who, upon meeting a woman who can and does kick his ass, thinks “she kicked my ass, the only logical course of action for me now is to marry her.”
I miss kissing. The feel of their plush lips. The warmth that builds between us. The way they run their hands up and over my curves, stoping to hold the back of my neck or thighs. I miss the kind of kissing that gets incredibly heated fast; a simple peck that leads to our tongues fighting for dominance. I miss the soft kind of kissing. I miss all kinds of kiss. I just miss kissing.
These are characters from live-action shows/movies who choose to kill even when there is another option available to them. They are often - but not always - the villain or antagonist. Even if some are a protagonist or become rehabilitated in the end, they all either killed multiple people unnecessarily and/or enjoyed it in some way. And a bunch of tumblr users love them 😂
Does anyone else get sick of seeing people shame fans who like fictional characters that are antagonists? People who judge someone’s morals off of a fictional character that they like really worry me. Most of the time you will see these people do backflips to defend every wrong their favorite character makes. I wonder if these people actually can tell the difference between fiction and reality because it’s quite concerning seeing how many people make extreme judgements on someone based on them enjoying a source of FICTION.
