70 Questions with Vogue

“Hi, Stevie! Thank you so much for having me over,” Joe Sabia greets.

“Any time”

“Can I just say that you have a beautiful Chicago home,” Joe gushes, looking around in awe.

“Thank you so much! That’s one of my favorite compliments because and Zo have put so much time in it and that it would feel like our home away from home,” you can hear the warmth in her voice.

“Am I welcomed in?”

“Yes, please come in,” you move to the side, allowing Vogue’s crew to come in.

“How does it feel to be added to the list of celebrities doing Vogue’s 73 questions?”

“I am honored,” you answer and move to your kitchen.

“Why the color green for your kitchen?”

“Ugh I just love the color green. My kitchen in our first home was green, and it was my favorite, but then we moved into a bigger home and I decided to not have it green. That’s why this kitchen is extra special to me. Plus, this kitchen holds a lot of memories,” you smile, thinking about everything that’s happened in this kitchen.

“That’s sweet. What’s the first memory of this kitchen that pops in your head?”

“Earlier this year my sister kendall was in here trying to cut up cucumbers and let me tell you we got a kick out of it. The internet also” she recalls laughing

“ I know moments like those are funny and special Speaking of family and special moments, you just welcomed your second baby and first boy into the world about a month ago. Congratulations to you.”

“Yes, thank you. he’s my special boy and he’s so spoiled already, especially with Zo.” Your cheeks get rosy, feeling an overwhelming amount of love fill your heart at the thought of Zo being the best dad he is.

“What’s something you learned when you became a parent?”

“Responsibility. It’s easy to lose a handle on yourself and life when you’re solo, so when you have other humans to take care of, you learn more about what responsibility looks like.”

“Favorite summer drink?”

“A very cold glass of water or a lemonade ” you laugh at the random question.

“Mama!!” You grin when you hear Zoey shout, knowing she’s about to jump into your arms and cling to you.

When you see her running towards you, you prepare for her tiny impact and easily lift her up. You push her hair out of her face, but it’s no use as she hides in your neck.

“My big girl ! Wanna say ‘hi’ to the camera?” You rub softly on her back, feeling her melt into your touch much like Zo does when you embrace him after a tough game

“Hi,” she says shyly.

“I want daddy,” she adds in, hands on your cheeks.

“You want to see daddy? Well, I guess it’s time to take a detour outside,” you say to the camera before telling them to follow you to the back.

The camera captures you walking with Zoey while also grabbing the baby monitor, so you can keep an ear out for Sloane as He’s napping. You walk with an effortless strut even though your feet haven’t touched a runway in months.

When you step onto the warm cobblestone of your back patio, the camera gets a view of your Zoey walking away from your hold. She press quick kisses to your cheek and you immediately beelined straight to Zo. He is out by the outdoor court

You stand by, enjoying Zo as he’s shirtless shooting around. Your eyes sparkle with love when you watch him pick up Zo with ease. Your eyes also glimmer.

The sweet giggles coming from Zoey pull you towards them. Zo’s tickling her stomach, simply unaware that there are cameras near.

He finally looks up, connecting eyes with you. You smile and tilt your head towards the cameras and he just nods, beckoning you closer to him.

“Lonzo, it’s nice to see you man,” the interviewer breaks the silence.

“Hey, guys. Welcome to our home,” Zo greets, handing Zoey into your arms so she can wrap his hand around your waist.

“Y/n, what’s your favorite thing about Zo becoming a dad?”

“He’s so gentle, he is also such a big softie for his babies. He’s also really matured, it’s fascinating seeing him learn something new everyday,” you answer with sincerity and a loving gaze locked on his shy smile. Zo stays quiet, kissing Zoey on her temple before reaching over to kiss you

“Zo, what’s your favorite thing about seeing Stevie become a mom?”

“I get to witness the force of nature that is my wife. The way she takes care of all of us, and just struts her way through. She makes it look so easy, so I guess that’s why I love to see her in action because I know raising children isn’t easy.”

Your cheeks heat up and you make your way to Zo, hugging his body to yours.

Zo kisses your cheek, choosing to ignore the cameras capturing your pda, and whispers in your ear that he’s going to check on Sloane. Choosing to ignore the camera’s presence as well, you give him a chaste kiss on the lips and slap his ass as he goes upstairs.

“Favorite tattoo?”

“I have quite a few favorites. Firstly, my “angel” one for my daughter and “Zo” those tattoos are ones I adore. I also love, my “divine feminine” tattoo because Zo loves tracing that one ,” you explain.

“Oh! I almost forgot, I’m getting a tattoo for my son soon, so that’ll be another favorite,” you add.

“Biggest fear?”

“It used to be endless darkness but since becoming a wife and mother, my biggest fear is my husband or children getting hurt. However, I’m still scared of endless darkness . Becoming a mom has made me much stronger, but I’m no superhero.”

“Is that my precious baby boy?! It is,” you say before turning your attention to the camera. “This is the first glimpse that the public is getting of him and we’re excited!” You rub your nose against his baby smooth cheek, inhaling his scent.

“Everyone, this is Sloane Ball,” Zo introduces Sloane. The camera zooms in on his sweet face. His’s barely awake, but his grasp on Zo’s finger doesn’t let up.

“He's adorable, guys,” the man compliments.

“Thank you. I think looks just like Zo,” you say.

“Why the name Sloane?”

“Well that is my actual government name but I was not aware of that until I was around 13 turning 14 when I was trying to be independent but like who ask is this name that everyone has been calling me my whole life is this actually my real name not really something you ask anyway I see my birth certificate and I was like Sloane who is this this is wrong person but I am also the only sister to have a an S name I asked and welp it was not wrong so I came to the conclusion that I was going to name my first son after me and that he was going to be proud of the name that I never got to embrace.

“ wow I would of never thought that at all I am actual shocked” He says in awe

“Most people are” you say walking back inside the house

“what is your favorite moment with Zo’s family”

“ummm maybe when Melo Zo’s younger brother meet Zoey for the first time it was so special and so funny he is over one of the funniest people I know” you say laughing toward the front door

“ we can tell by the show and his on air interviews .” He says with a smile

“well I think it is getting a little late maybe this is my moment to leave thank you so much for having me” he says walking backwards with the camera out the door

"Hey y’all it’s Hannah and today I'm finna be pranking Zo and telling him I'm gonna go take Zoey to meet a friend of mine and y'all now how strict he is about Zoey. He doesn't let anyone around her unless he trust them so, clearly he trust me. Anyways I hope he doesn't kill me and keeps it cool, calm and collective so I don't get demonetised wish me luck!"

"How are you doing Zo." I asked the little girl he smiled she fiddled with the chain her father got me for our 24 birthday. I combed her hair. I had my camera set up and all so you could get a clear of the both of us.

Yep as corny as it sounds Zo and I had the same birthday. October 27th. Same year and all accept he was older. I didn’t find out we had the same birthday until our 3rd date we went on which landed on our birthday. How romantic and ironic right.

"I'm fine." She assured me with a smile. She has sass don’t let her shy act fool you. She’s just acting camera shy cause I’ve never really filmed a YouTube video before including her in it.

"That's good to hear! Are you ready to have fun and prank daddy?” I asked her leaning down from tying up her luscious curly hair.

“Yes I hope he don’t get mad.” She whispered and giggled. Aww she was so cute. If only she knew that temper that boy had on him.

“Don’t worry baby girl, he won’t.”

We went out and I took her shopping by her whatever which consisted of barbie dolls and stuffed animals. I wasn’t complaining though because it wasn’t my money being chopped it was Lonzo’s. He always insists that we use his card although I have tried fighting him to let me use my card for once he shuts me down all the time. So hard headed. I love him though.

We then brought ice cream and took photos at the park I couldn’t resist I love talking pictures!

"Whoa where did y'all going." He jumped off the couch manoeuvring his way to us. His long legs took huge strides towards us. He picked up Zoey hugging her as she gushed to him about our day while he assisted in carrying the tons of bags.

“Costco? Y’all brought the whole world.” He laughed at the sight of the many toys. He definitely knew his baby girl played a major role in it.

"We went to meet a friend." Was all I said I stood on my tippy toes and pecked his lips quickly. He kissed back. But once the realisation hit him his whole demeanour changed so rapidly.

His grip tightened on Zoey and I almost chocked on my water at the sight his face. I swear to god this boy is so quick to get in his feels.

"What friend." He questioned with a raised eyebrow. His ears all perked up now. He was curious as to why we took so long. Surely there was a better explanation.

"You don't know him." I scoffed dismissively. I kept it lowkey and tried walking off but he wasn’t having it. All the wrong scenarios were remerging through his head. And my short answers weren’t giving him any justice.

"Him? Where are you going, bring your behind back here!”

Here we go.

"Hannah, you know better than to be taking my daughter and meeting other-" he sighed loudly and his face held pure annoyance. He’s definitely hot right now.

"Zo can you please go play with ur toys dada and Hannah need to have a talk." Lonzo explained she knew what he meant and got down from his arms. She sent me worried look but I just sent her secret smile assuring her it was okay.

"You can't be doing that Hannah, I don't want other niggas meeting my daughter." Lonzo huffed once Zoey was out of earshot. He was really trying his best to not get pissed. But I knew the show didn’t stop. Had to keep playing my role.

"But he’s is not niggas he's just one. Besides he’s my homeboy we go way back I trust him." I spoke from my ass making things up on the spot. It was definitely getting him riled up the vein in his neck was bulging.

Lonzo scoffed pacing back and forth in front of me hands on his head and all." Brother or not I don’t give a damn Hannah I don’t what no body being a step baby daddy to Zoey. Girl you got me fucked up."

"I’m dead boy what, ain’t nobody tryna replace you you’re my man not him. I don't get why you're so pissed." I scoffed at him for thinking so low of me. That I could presumably be cheating with a guy that I known since day one.

I know this was a penal but now he’s the one getting me riled up.

"Hold on lemme re word it for u since you acting dumb-"

I gasped at his words. He was finna catch these hands. Talking about me being dumb. He so lucky the cameras are on or else I would’ve turned into Chrisean Rock.

"Basically you're saying it's okay for me to go and hang out with some girl and bring Zo to meet her? Would you and Denise be pissed?" He berated stepping closer to me.

"Well I can't speak for Denise but I wouldn't care." I lied through my teeth. I was protective of Zoey like she was mine. I love that girl. Of course Denise would probably lecture him until he retires from playing basketball about why he brought some girl around his child.

"Cap. Stop playing with me. You would be hella pissed." He rolled his eyes crossing his arms against his chest.

"You're outta pocket-" I tried deescalating the dilemma that was occurring. Something was telling me that there was more to story about him just being annoyed that “some guy” was around his daughter.

Nope there’s more to it. It was probably a ex or something.

"No I'm not fuck why can't you understand why I'm so angry. Every girl I introduce to Zo always find a way to fuck it up. And you're doing that right now." He blurts throwing his hands up. Lonzo’s eyes widen as he comes terms with what his big mouth had just said.

I felt my heart drop to my ass at his words. He didn’t mean that. There was no way. I felt my eyes watering. I wasn’t crying because I was embarrassed I’m crying because I’m angry that he really just compared me to Ally.

I wasn’t trying to name names by all means he was making it impossible. Ally and I are to different people she wanted the bag and he was too whipped to notice that.

“So it’s like that huh?” I licked my lips and he didn’t respond. Clearly he regrets his decision.

"Zo-" I tried calling out to him but he ignored me going up the stairs to cool off. I sighed and turned off the cameras knowing this just got real personal.

How did a prank turn into our first fight as a couple.

I left Zo alone to cool off since I knew that in his state he would most likely shout out something he would later regret like now. He was terrified at the what he did. Was I gonna leave him? Hell no I love that man too much. I know his beating himself up about it but quite frankly he had every right to react the way he did his protective of his daughter heck I'd be too.

"Hey." I plop down laying next to him he was watching something on the tv in his room.

I had laid down Zoey and tucked her in instead of Lonzo she asked where her dad was since he always tucked her in never missed a day,thankfully he came in and kissed her goodnight and left without another word.

"You gonna say anything?" Nothing. Damn. Okay. His eyes remained on the tv a mean mug was plastered on his face. If anything I should be pissed at him for comparing me to his ex. So he better get his act together.

My only option was to cling on to him. So I tried clinging onto him like a koala hoping it would make him react but nope, Lonzo was usually the clingy one he wasn't budging surely this show wasn't more fascinating than me.

I got off him and begun to put on my slides I wasn't actually leaving but I knew this would get his attention since he wants to be a damn mime.

I felt his gaze on my back so I quickly dashed out of his room like Usain bolt I was on the track team in high school but Zo is a full time athlete and with his busted ass knee your girl had a advantage. Well that’s what I told myself.

The sound of heavy footsteps made my pace increase I made it downstairs and gripped the door handle before I knew it I was being snatched.

I yelped loudly as I felt strong arms lift me up and I'm being carried bridle style. I know it was Zo because his arms were covered in ink. he doesn't saying anything but carry me all the way back to his room.

He throws me down on the bed like I’m nothing. Huh this seems kind of familiar if you know what I mean- Sadly that was not the case.

"I'm sorry." I finally blurted out." It was prank I didn't actually take Zoey to meet a friend of mine,it was all a lie. What you said was outta pocket I'm not like the other girls you've been and you damn well know that." I huff getting my thoughts off my chest. I felt all the weight leave my shoulders once I said that.

To think that he would even think just makes me so bewildered.

"I'm sorry what for I said baby. But,Girl. You're gonna be the death of me." He groaned and collapsed into my chest and laughed missing his voice.

"That's not funny!"

"You should've seen your face it was like ...."

"You're so lucky it was a joke or else somebody would've got their shit rocked!"

“Can I post the video still or…”

“No.”

We laid in silence I softly played with his marvellous curly hair that was so dearly soft in my grip. He nuzzled his head into my neck getting comfortable I swear if only the media saw how much of big baby this man was. He loved to he held every once in awhile.

“You should move in." He announced and I paused. Has he lost his mind? We’ve only be for 2 years now but Covid ruined our relationship the amount of times we almost called it off because of long distance.

At the time I was living Cali and he’s in Chicago as you know so we had to face time no meeting in person. It was very limited because I was working and he was busy with basketball. Only god knows how we made it work.

"Whatttt."

"No I'm serious." He deadpanned I tried getting up from the bed but he stopped me.” W-wait here me out!”

"I don't wanna intrude-" I tried thinking of a excuse but he kept backing it up with vaild points.” Plus my job and my family. I can’t just leave them Lonzo.”

He sighed.” I understand but I can always get you another better job here no more asshole Steve that hell I wanna rock his shit so bad if I ever meet that n!gga.” I giggled at how he’s reaction changed and he smiled at the sight of me in joy.” I would move your whole family to Chicago with me if I could but I can’t they’ll understand Hannah.”

I fiddled with the rings on my fingers.” I don’t know.”

Growing up I was so close to my family and friends so for me to just pack up and leave to another state is beyond nerve wracking.

"Please girl you won't be intruding no body Zoey loves you I love you. What's the problem? I’m not a beggar but I’ll beg for you.”

I rolled my eyes and laughed at his dry joke. Damn I really got him sprung.

“Yes.” I mumbled under my breath looking down.

He frowns and squints playing dumb.” Huh what speak girl I can’t hear you. I’m getting too old!” He exaggerated and I grumbled to myself.

"I said yes I'm moving in damn Zo!” I reprimanded, annoyed at how he was playing with me,and he screamed jumping on me.

“She said yes!” He exclaimed to no one acting as if I said yes to marry him. He’s so dramatic.

I began kissing Zo all over his face and he laughed pulling back. His arms gripped on to my bicep gazing into my eyes. We’ve been together for nearly 2 years and still find myself blushing like a little girl whenever we make eye contact. He knew it was my weakness and he uses it. He’s not slick.

I pulled him into a soft kiss, his lips molded into mine as he moaned and caressed my hips I pulled back with a cheeky grin.

“You damn tease! You keep acting like that and Zoey is gonna end up with another sibling." Lonzo rubbed his face as he kisses my neck and I shut my eyes letting out a moan to which he smiles satisfied.

"Huh I wouldn't mind that." I smirked devilishly letting my hands slither down to his white Kelvin Klein sweats that he was wearing. He looked finee in them.

He was hovering above me chain dangling over my face another kink of mine. Boy was asking for it. If he wants the wap then just say that. Looking like a whole snack and all.

"Say less!"

I squealed as he pounced on me wasting no time. Let's just say little Zoey was gonna be thrilled with the outcome in a few months.
