i'm just gonna say it. hordak was more redeemable than catra.
no, i haven't forgotten that he was a tyrannical warlord who conquered and destroyed like half of etheria. i'm not saying any of it was justified or that he deserves to get off scot-free.
i just think that hordak had more moments of humanity. we know what he was but there were less instances of hordak being straight-up sadistic on screen. there were actually no instances of hordak attacking anyone, except for that one time in s4 when he attacked catra (which she 100% deserved).
whereas he did have moments of genuine kindness and compassion. he took adora in, when he had the choice to abandon her and leave her to her death. granted, he raised her as a child soldier in the horde, but she was alive thanks to him, nonetheless.
he takes care of imp as he would take care of a child. even when he gets angry, he rarely intentionally hurts people like catra did. the most he did was scream at them. which is not good either, mind you, but it's something that he could work on. it wasn't cruel and destructive like catra's temper.
he also treated entrapta with great care and respect. after a moment of fury, he quiets down and lets entrapta help him. when entrapta mentions in an offhand manner that she was also a defect (or something along that line, i forget), hordak was first concerned and then rightfully furious at whoever dared to demean her like that.
he needed a little push from imp but he expressed his gratitude towards entrapta and treated her as an equal from then on. he even risked his own physical health to protect entrapta. when catra sent entrapta to beast island and double trouble told him about it later on, hordak was ready to murder catra for daring to hurt the one person who understood and loved him.
later in s5, we see what exactly hordak went through at the hands of his creator. although like every other character, his trauma was pushed aside for catra's, you could still see how hard he had it. horde prime was worse than shadow weaver, when it came to abuse. and despite all that, hordak was still able to show kindness to a few people in his life.
of course, that doesn't erase everything he did to the people of etheria. it doesn't erase the toxic environment he created for the children in the horde. but i feel like a villain with some moments of compassion is a lot more promising than a villain who relentlessly hurts and tortures people, not showing even an ounce of regret.
Hypno was sitting on Hordak’s lap on his throne when the machine was hooked up to her runestone. Having a huge connection to it, it affected her greatly. A silent scream left her body, her hands went up and shakily signed words to Hordak, ‘What are they doing?’ She asked while biting her shaking lip, “Their hacking the planet.. as they stated.” He replied. His hand went down to her lower back.
Another silent scream left her, she was now gripping onto Hordak. Her body vibrating with an unknown emotion, ‘I feel.. strange.’ She signed with a flustered gray face. Hordak realized what Hypno was feeling, “You’re feeling the want of pleasure..” He mumbled and slid his other hand onto her thigh. Hypno’s eyes had tears swelling in them, her face contorting with the need of the male.
Hordak chuckled, helping her to swing her legs over his lap. Hypno was confused, but Hordak just untied her hair and watched as it fell down her shoulders. Hypno waited for instructions, “Grind. With your hips down onto me.” He ordered. Her eyes going fuzzy and the swirling pupils in Hypno’s eyes quit swirling for a moment.
She did as told, grinding down onto Hordak’s lap. She set a steady pace when suddenly he thrusted up with her grinds. Hypno’s mouth watered and she leaned her head onto his shoulder. The Imp was harassing Shadow Weaver. Silent moans left her lips, forgetting about signing things to Hordak. Speaking of Hordak he sped them up, observing her every move.
Her body was giving up, so close to uncurling, ‘Need.’ Was all she signed with her incredibly shaky hands, “Go ahead.” He whispered in her ear. She grinded down one last time before Hordak felt a wet spot form on his lap from her. She shuddered and gripped onto him for protection. His hands were on her lower back and went down to Hypno’s waistband.
Her shorts were pulled off and he saw the thing that caused the wet spot on his lap. It ripped a chuckle from his lips. Hordak pulled his cock out and eased it into her. Hypno was clawing at the armor on his body, thank god for that. She was breathing heavily. It was causing her to slam her palm onto him. Hypno signed unintelligible things, which he assumed meant he could go.
Thrusting a pace into her Hypno slammed her palms onto him again, wanting him to speed up. He did and he found her sweet spot. Flipping their positions around he got a better angle. It was surprising how he hadn’t passed out yet. Eventually he came inside of her, knowing she didn’t have anything that could have her have children. She came too.
Hordak passed out right there and then, still balls deep inside of Hypno. She cleaned them up and got a clean pair of shorts. Hordak was sat on his throne still and she fell asleep sitting on his lap. Catra, Scorpia, and Entrapta came in shortly after that and saw the scene.. so they left going to come back later.
Ok here remembering my favorite Entrapdak moments, and these are the funniest for me, I know it's a cliché but I love it anyway, you try to leave fast and quietly and poof! you crash into something and do more than car horn 🤣🤣🤣
I still like Entrapdak a lot like it was yesterday that I started following this beautiful ship (practically canon by the way). And well, this blog is already 3 years old, thanks for following up and continuing to love the Entrapdak 😚😚😚😚💯💯💯
⏩⏩ Then, the full video of the scene (with sound) or the last one when Hordak faints and she runs to him it's so Awww 😍😍😍
Thanks for your responding to my questions about Angella. Was Hordak wrong to dismiss Shadow Weaver over Catra?
It depends on what you mean by “wrong.” So many of Hordak’s decisions are subject to moral debate because of his perspective, indoctrination, and then the way his worldview clashes with Shadow Weaver’s. I’ll parse it out below.
Was he right to destroy Shadow Weaver’s means of living? No. The Spell of Obtainment made her dependent on the Black Garnet to survive. Cutting her off from it, regardless of how she’s using that power, is murder.
Was he right to choose Catra over Shadow Weaver? From his perspective, absolutely. Shadow Weaver had a long history of treachery and rebellion, not to mention being temperamental to the point of causing property damage. She was not mentally sound enough to be a good leader. That was never in question. The question is whether he realized Catra was just as treacherous, catty, and petty about her distracted goals. Which she absolutely was, and she treated Hordak far worse than Shadow Weaver ever did. So at minimum, it was unwise.
Is it objectively, morally correct to choose Catra as a leader instead? Well, putting aside the Horde’s general crimes…sure. Now, he treated her just as abusively as he did Shadow Weaver, and that was bad. But I don’t think the decision to promote her was a bad one. Assuming she and Shadow Weaver weren’t constantly at each other’s throats, they could have co-leadered together. But Shadow Weaver was disrupting the order of the Horde’s goings-on and dealings, so she had to go, especially if you consider Hordak’s own perspective.
Well I made this special post because this blog turned 3 years old this month, wow how time flies 😚😚😚✊✨. Ok, below, is every outfit Hordak has worn during each season, some of them are repeated but despite everything, Hordak is the character that has had the most Outfit changes and some appearance throughout the show, therefore I want to show them 💙💯✌️
Season 1
He wears this outfit all time in this season.
Season 2
With his season 1 outfit after finding a baby Adora. (16 or 17 ago approximately)
With his typical armor nowadays (in this season)
Without his armor while he was maintaining it and got hurt.
Season 3
Without his cape, when Hordak found Adora, 16 or 17 years ago.
With his season 1 armor, nowadays (in the beginning of the season 3)
Without armour after telling Entrapta about his clone origin.
With his LUVD Armor made by Entrapta
Hordak as clone in the army of Horde prime, his appearance before his arrival to Etheria. Horde Prime watched this photo when he received the signal from the portal (season finale).
Ok, this post about Hordak outfits will continue (2 parts more ✌️💯).
but i fucking hate it when i see entrapdak fanart where they draw entrapta like a straight-out-the womb-in-the-mcdonald's-ballpit child, then making hordak look like a beefed up nosferatu. entrapta is canonically over 30. it's fucking gross and if i see another one im running them over with a John Deere S100 42-in 17.5-HP Riding Lawn Mower
