awwww i got an ask game forever ago that i never answered 🥺 thank you for your kindness

1) i write pokemon and loz fanfiction but this one is pretty well known by now

2) i play dnd (and have cosplayed many times as my dnd character and made many silly videos as them... but now i have a half elf artificer named corian who is my blorbo supreme).  i plan on trying out a solo campaign in some point in the future.... maybe podcasting it.........,, would anyone be interested in that??

3) i went to catholic school and it influences me in more ways than i like to admit

4) i have a bigass dumb orange cat named barry!!!!

5) i collect glass bottles.  hoard them really.  it’s a problem.  if you give me a green glass bottle i will kissa you on the mouth. 

(one time i was visiting my partner in florida and we went to this random tiny museum and i had been talking about my Hoarding Bottles Problem and we walked in and the first fucking display was a wall full of green coca cola bottles over the ages..... and in that moment... i realized what i wanted my future home to look like)

I don’t know what writer needs to hear this

but you can write something very plain. 

You don’t have to write some genre-redefining masterpiece. You can write a story about two people very simply falling in love. You can just write a story about a person going to the store. You could, if you were so inclined, just re-write Star Wars but like, make all the names start with M.

Don’t let the fear of not-writing something transcendent stop you from just writing.

How hard did you riot when it turned out Cobra Kai 3 was delayed until 2021?

Not really that hard compared to some other folks. There was a moment of “WHAT?!?!” and then, “Yeah, that makes sense.” With the move to Netflix, they need to give seasons 1 and 2 time to breathe. My only concern is that the show is going to be like 3 years behind what year it actually is and I really wanna know how they’re going to deal with that....

Nah, Sterling likes Nate in his own, snake-like way.

i mean yeah, i agree, sterling does like nate, but he doesn’t like nate in the way that most people like other people.  he respects nate because 1) nate had a pretty good career alongside him for twenty years, 2) nate’s extremely clever and the only one as smart as sterling, and 3) by the end of the series, when sterling has really come to understand nate’s motivations, understand nate, i’d say he rather likes him a lot, even if he knows he can’t quite be the same.

sterling’s growth throughout the series is fascinating, especially since he really only appears in a handful of episodes.  the first season he’s still mostly in a villain role, but there’s a definite sense of him learning and understanding.  sterling is smart, and he respects nate at this point as you would respect a former-partner-turned-drunk-when-his-son-died-turned-formidable-antagonist (because in sterling’s world, nate is the antagonist).  they have a history, they have different values, they have a healthy respect for each other, but all of that is very complicated, and far too complicated to write out in my previous post rather than “sterling may not like nate all that much”.

For your livestreaming event, would you make it available for viewing later on YouTube or another platform? Like 2 weeks post-release or something. (Also, I loved you as Chaos on Leverage.)

I haven’t decided if I’ll do that. History shows that if I don’t put it up myself, someone else will, so I may as well go ahead and do it. On the other hand, I’d love it if it could be a special thing that only happens live.

So the answer to your question is: I don’t know, but I’m considering the different options.

no actually this is the same guy who was a “voice actor” and also a “graphic designer” but every single thing on his website was like that “graphic design is my passion” meme. I wish I had saved it. The website is gone now. He’s actually voice acted in things.

Still thinking about episode 1 of Leverage Redemption and how Sophie was depressed and didn't want to even exist in the world. How she isolated and ignored everyone and closed herself off. Then her three children show up and take her to an art museum for an impromptu crime and she STILL doesn't want to be there; she's in mourning, after all, not just for her husband but the life they would have lived together.

Then our OT3 tell her to pick something nice while they secure the place, and she's in her worst case scenario: alone again, but now she's surrounded by millions of dollars of art but no desire to take it. She's lost and anxious...but the second she sees our Mr. Wilson there's a physical and emotional shift in the way she acts. Her poise, her voice, her attitude all change on a dime. It's instinct at this point and without even knowing it she's found a mark, like a person winning big on a lottery ticket they bought 'cause they had an extra buck.

Her face lights up and her voice raises and she approaches with "He's a treat!"

And just like that she's back in the game. She even says she's "just here for the art."

Just something I've been thinkin' about.

Let this serve as a reminder to back up the stuff you care about

I’ve gotten my account back fully intact! I was so worried because there’s some music I won’t able to find anywhere else on the internet, and I was so upset about losing the acoustic, dreamy version of “Just a Dream” that played at my wedding. I definitely have that song saved now, haha. Unfortunately the xylophone cover of “Car Radio” is gone for good. Oh well, better that (and I’m missing four other posts, but I don’t know which) than my entire blog!

I need to thank @bubbles-the-great @athena83 @lordmogatron @fluffypandabutt @deaflikehawkeye @ragevanilla for checking up with me and most of all @gwaciechang for, uh, not getting mad that I “volunteered” her blog to make a post.
