Footloose (1984). A city teenager moves to a small town where rock music and dancing have been banned, and his rebellious spirit shakes up the populace.

Somehow I'd never seen this, and I don't think I ever knew the plot? Like I knew it was a dance movie, but not a movie where dance is illegal?? Anyway, it's wild, but it commits to it's premise and is still pretty fun. Kevin Bacon can really move! 5/10.

Lori Singer is an American actress, model, and cellist. The daughter of conductor Jacques Singer, she was a musical prodigy, making her debut as a cellist with the Oregon Symphony at thirteen, and was subsequently accepted to the Julliard School, where she became the institution's youngest graduate.

Singer gained notice for her lead role as Ariel Moore in the musical drama film Footloose (1984).
