So lemme get this straight… Kara/Lena on SGCW = baited, open ended, Lena Luthor a hero Kara/Lena in DC CW comics = baited, open ended, Lena Luthor a hero Kara/Lena in future DC comics/movies = TBD, anything could happen

Meanwhile...

Kara/Mon-El on SGCW = ended forever Legion of Super-Heroes animated movie = Mon-El a villain, no romance

New DC Comics = Mon-El related to Kara, no romance Between all this + major DC artists and writers proving to be pro-Kara/Lena, I’d say “Supercorp” could still happen at some point in really any media, meanwhile Mon-El is a character that may never recover from the awful SGCW version and “Karamel” is dead forever in all versions so far. 

Interesting, and ironic.

P.S. Happy for KaraDox fans in the meantime, since the LOSH animated film apparently leans into that. I’ve never had any issues with that duo, though obviously I still think Supercorp is 100% the future as far as Kara’s romantic destiny if they want her to have an iconic, Clois or BatCat type of a lasting legacy that stands the test of time, as far as love interests are concerned.

JUST FINISHED IT AND FELLAS... lads is it gay to be a robot and program a holosuite scenario of you dying dramatically in your crushes arms while being called a hero, then going down a corruption arc and straight up murdering the biggest villain of the season and taking his place only to be called to the side of good once again when said crush goes into ur mind to rescue you by unconditionally believing in your humanity. And you hold him in your arms paralleling the first episode of the season while your crush (fused together with a clone of himself) calls you his hero while completing your narrative arc of your emotions further strengthening your bond to humanity?

Wild that they let Brainy straight up murder Imperiex on what is essentially a children's show but I feel like it helps bridge that gap between Season 2 Brainy and the way they characterized him in Supergirl

Man, I truly love all the companions in BG3 and how much you can interact with them. They don't just sit there like a mannequin when you talk to people, they actively interact with the world and participate in conversations. They have things to say about things going on in the story if you talk to them, AND will react to your other companions personal issues!

But my favorite thing? The little things you can do with them.

Like the circus? Volunteering one of your companions to help the clown, where 2 of your companions will get approval because you didn't volunteer them and the one you did volunteer will be like "pls don't do this to me"? Talking to the dryiad there and testing your bond with your love interest? Taking Karlach to her parents grave?

I fucking love that. It adds so much to your relationship with them.

Not even mentioning the fact that each companion is a unique and interesting character that isn't just a blank state for your PC to [persuade] them the whole time. There have been moments where in a tense situation I won't intervene with a companions choice and let them chose what they feel is right. And it feels so gratifying to have them make their own decisions. Like yes! After years of doing someone elses bidding, decide your own path in life.

They didn't have to do all that.

But they did, and I love it.
