This is a story about my stuffy animal. I have had this stuffed animal 🧸 since I was 2 years old. I remember the day it came in the mail. My maternal grandmother 👵🏻 sent it to me with a purple bunny 🐰 for my sister. I don’t remember if it was for an occasion or just because, but I loved it from the beginning. My maternal grandmother 👵🏻 passed away when I was 16 and is the only grandparent I have ever known. My maternal grandpa 👴🏻 died before I was born. My paternal grandparents never left Vietnam 🇻🇳 and I never got to meet them. I only recently was able to visit Vietnam 🇻🇳 (literally like a week ago). This raccoon 🦝 stuffy and a set of pearls are the only things I have from her. I named him Raccoony (give me a break, I was 2). I slept 😴 with him every night. Sleep 💤 was not peaceful or normal without him. This little guy has traveled 🧳 with me everywhere I have ever been. Every place/state I’ve ever lived, he was with me. Every trip, local or international, he came with me. I even brought him to Vegas when I got married. Recently my husband and I went on a cruise 🚢 on @princesscruises to Southeast Asia. The middle pic is him on the bed 🛏 in our stateroom. On the 2nd day of our 11 Days Orient - Singapore cruise (voyage H903A) our steward, Eben, accidentally removed him from our stateroom. He suspects he wrapped him in the laundry 🧺 when he was changing the sheets. Frantic and panicked, I checked daily on the status of my lost little friend. The staff never found him. I even spoke to the cruise director, Marcus, about my incident. He understood the sentimental value this 34 year old stuffed animal 🧸 meant to me. But still was not found. This situation is heartbreaking 💔to me. 🥺This experience is not what I was expecting from @princesscruises truly the worst cruise 🚢 I’ve been on.
