My GTA V Online - My 29th prize car: Pegassi Tempesta [Sept 16, 2022]
Hello! Welcome back to my GTA V Online! And today, I won my 29th time at the Lucky Wheel in Diamond Casino & Resort. 🚘😁☸️💎🎰
• So, apparently I was wrong. I thought the "Sprunk vs Ecola" wars was over. And strangely, the "Ecola" won the 2nd round after they lost over "Sprunk". Nonetheless, it is time to review my latest lucky wheel prize vehicle podium of this week.
BTW: 99 days to go before Christmas! Yay! 🧑‍🎄🗓️ Sorry I missed the 100th day countdown though... My bad.😅
If you didn’t see my previous prize car, then please [CLICK ME!].
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
• The prized car of the week is the Pegassi Tempesta 🚘 [CLICK ME!], it’s a Sports Car category that costs GTA$ 1,329,000 💵 from Legendary Motorsport. The Tempesta is primarily based on the Lamborghini Huracan [CLICK ME!] mixed with the Lotus Esprit Concept [CLICK ME!].
• So, the last Pegassi I've won at the lucky wheel was the Zorrusso, and it was recorded on Nov 21st, 2021. Yes, it is fun to drive without a hardtop; good for strolling on the sunset beach. (Yeah, I miss summer.) But, what about the Tempesta? Let's start with the design. It looks stunning! Even though the front was taken a cue from the Lotus Esprit concept, it is still a pretty damn-looking Huracan car. Not to mention the rear look. And the engine sound? Matches perfectly (like other vehicles that I've reviewed if not perfect for other vehicles). Performance-wise, on stock stats, I have no problems with acceleration, brake, handling & top speed. The latter, however, was pretty surprise me! It beat out two Pegassi cars, the Zentorno & the aforementioned Zorrusso during lap time. Unfortunately for its top speed, the Tempesta can't outpace other faster supercars. Regardless, the Tempesta is arguably the most contender for the super category. In terms of cosmetics, the Tempesta gives a respect thumbs up. However, there's no option for suspension & rear bumper, which is quite shameful. But hey, beggars can't be choosers, right?
• So overall, I give this Tempesta a thumbs up & worth it supercar to get! If you want to getting hands on with this cool Huracan look-a-like, then you better win it this week (from Sept 16th to Sept 21st, 2022) at the lucky wheel instead of spending it from the Legendary Motorsport. The Tempesta had checked all the boxes, with the only exception being the lack of top speed (during drag strip). But, as I said, I respect the stats for the Tempesta. It's just a damn good supercar.
Well, that’s all for now. And If you want to see my previous car prize, Halloween Week (2021) moments & my throwbacks, then I’ll provide some links down below.↓

Back in 2019, I was very impressed with the game for the Nintendo Switch "Overdrive 80's", although I have never played it, but I liked the concept of the game and its fleet. Therefore, I decided to draw cars from the game. I named my collection "Neon 80's". This collection included all 6 cars from this game. The only difference from the original fleet was the replacement of the Vector W8 with the Lotus Esprit Turbo. Since I didn't like Vector at all and it was released at the end of the 80's.
Three years later, I decided to redraw my collection. This decision was prompted by my immersion in the retrowave theme, and in principle I became more interested in the 80s than any other era in the history of mankind at that time. Music, movies, video games, fashion and the industry of those times became the starting point for the redrawing of the "Neon 80's".
I divided the redrawing into two parts, each consisting of 4 cars. Therefore, the collection was replenished with two legendary supercars from Ferrari. Also, to enhance the aesthetics, I added a sunset background in two versions.
About a year later, I redrawn my collection again. I was haunted by the thought that I had not painted all the supercars of that era.
After a thorough search for information, the number of cars for the collection doubled: 14 main and 2 bonus cars. Bonus cars were not produced in the 80s, but they were still associated with the pop culture of the neon decade.
Already at the stage of sketches, I determined the style of the next remake. The emphasis was placed on stylization and great cartoonishness of the objects. Unfortunately, due to the large number of cars, I decided to abandon the background. But, as it seems to me, it only went to the benefit and emphasized the unreality of the updated collection.
I am pleased to observe my development using the example of this evolution. How it all started with a fleet from a video game with a beginner's level, smoothly flowed to retrowave posters with a deepening into realism, and the end became static compositions with a bias towards stylization. In an amount twice as large as the original version.
I am sure that the number of cars will not grow anymore, as I have made the maximum of the options suitable for this role. But it is still possible to change the style of this collection.
Who knows, maybe in a couple of years I'll redraw it again...

Lotus Esprit Concept, 1972, by Italdesign. The Esprit was designed by GIorgetto Giugiaro (pictured with Lotus founder, Colin Chapman) and was one of the early cars to emerge from Giugiaro’s Italdesign studio, which had been set up in 1968. The series production Esprit, still based on Giugiaro’s original, was on sale until 2004

1968 Alfa Romeo Carabo Concept Promised the Future (Part 2 of 2)
It might be said that the Carabo’s influence reached its peak around 1983, just as the last Japanese and American cars cast off their “European” affectations of the 1970s. The first, most-angular of Ford’s long-running Panther-platform cars were in showrooms. The Fox-body Mustang still carried its four-eyed visage. The Camaro and Firebird had just given up their curvaceous second-generation bodies in favor of more angular, compact forms. Mitsubishi’s geometric Starion and its Chrysler Corporation captive-import Conquest twin were on the scene, and Honda’s first-generation CRX entered production late that year. By then, the Countach had sprouted fender flares, but it had yet to adopt the disruptive strakes of the Anniversary model. The next year would see the debut of Ferrari’s Testarossa, whose softer, blunted shape would set the aesthetic tone for supercars well into the 1990s.
Ford’s Sierra and Audi’s “C3” 100 bucked the trend early, arriving in 1982. By the 1986 model year, when Ford adapted the Sierra’s jellybean styling for American tastes in the form of the Taurus and the Mercury Sable, the writing was on the wall. At the same time, the edge had begun to come off the edges in Japan. Honda/Acura’s Legend was essentially a softer take on the styling of the third-generation Civic that had preceded it, and the Civic followed suit shortly thereafter. The Camry received rounded corners during the same period, while Giugiaro’s long-running Lotus Esprit was replaced by Peter Stevens’s rounder revamp in 1987. And finally, the Carabo’s indirect descendent, the Lamborghini Diablo, arrived in 1990, shutting the proverbial scissor door on its grandfather’s revolution.
Yes, in the years since we have seen Lamborghini trot out F-117–inspired designs in the form of the Reventón, Sesto Elemento, and Egoista, as well as the arrival of Cadillac’s Art & Science form language. While all of these made bold use of hard lines, none were as simple, plain, and sharp as the shape of things to come that the Carabo foretold. The future, it turned out, was just a phase.

Alors sachant ceci mes chers
Chap 3 v 4
Déjà remarquons ensemble la drôle de coïncidence des versets à chaque fois au verset 4 il s’agit toujours dans ces verset de venir à l’intérieur d’un lieu, maintenant voyons ensemble quel est ce lieu mystérieux;

It has been 11 years since Dany Bahar pulled six covers off of six different Lotus concept cars at the Paris Auto Show, Ethos, Eterne, Esprit, Elan, Elise, and Elite. Not a single one of them ever came to pass, and Lotus soldiered on like Paris 2010 never happened once Dany, um, left the company. On Tuesday, Lotus made the ambitious announcement that it was developing four new electric vehicles — two SUVs, a sport sedan, and a sub-Evija sports car — all to be built in a new Wuhan, China facility.
It’s hard not to make the connection to Dany Bahar’s wild vision of Lotus back in 2010, but there’s one major key difference between that and the Lotus of today. The Lotus of today actually has money. Where it was once struggling under the ownership of tiny Malaysian automaker Proton, it has been since sold off to China’s Geely, which has a mouth that is writing big ole checks, and an ass that can totally cash them.
Lotus has explained that the two SUVs and the sedan will all ride on the same new “Lotus Premium” modular platform, which can be stretched in wheelbase from 114 to 122 inches and hold batteries of capacities up to 120 kWh. Lotus claims this new platform is compatible with 800-volt high-speed charging, and each of these vehicles can be optioned to run a sub-three-second 0-60 time. It’s pretty easy to guess that Lotus is aiming squarely at Porsche here, with the larger of the two SUVs aimed at the Cayenne Coupe, and the smaller going toe-to-toe with the upcoming Macan EV.
The new Lotus plant scheduled to open in Wuhan later this year is a massive facility in comparison to the company’s current structures in Hethel. The new plant is capable of stretching to build up to 150,000 cars per year, which is more cars than Lotus has ever sold in its entire history, which began back in 1948. Obviously Geely wants to grow the Lotus brand in annual vehicle sales to match its historically significant nameplate. Cashing in the chips that 70 years of historic motorsport victories have earned for Lotus in order to sell SUVs and sedans isn’t the worst idea. It worked for Porsche 15 years ago.
Alongside the plant will be a new Lotus Technology headquarters, scheduled to open in 2024 and look like the rendering above. The facility broke ground in August, and is intended to push the company’s electric understanding forward. The center will be used to develop batteries, energy management systems, electric motors, control units, and more. China is going all-in on electric, so it makes sense that Lotus would want to be in the mix, where all the action is.

Salon Privé announces new deal with Lockton ahead of biggest and best Club Trophy
Tumblr media
- Long-term partnership announced with specialist insurance broker Lockton - 2021 Club Trophy will have more car clubs than ever before - Anniversary celebrations include 50 years of Maserati Bora, Lamborghini Countach and Ferrari 365 GT/4 B
Having welcomed more than 1,000 cars in 2020, the Salon Privé Club Trophy presented by Lockton is set to return to Blenheim Palace on Saturday 4 September as part of Salon Privé Week.
The UK’s most prestigious car clubs come together in majestic surroundings, and this year there will more of them than ever before. The 2021 Club Trophy is particularly significant because Salon Privé has announced a long-term partnership with Lockton, whose Private Clients and Performance division specialises in arranging insurance for prestige marques such as Bentley, Porsche, Aston Martin and Ferrari.   ‘The Salon Privé Club Trophy is the perfect event for us to partner with,’ said Rachel Gilliam, Partner and Head of Lockton Private Clients. ‘We share a passion for all things automotive, and seeing those great cars against the backdrop of Blenheim Palace, and meeting their enthusiastic and knowledgeable owners, will make for a truly memorable day.’ A number of significant anniversaries will be celebrated this year, including half-centuries for three Italian greats. The Lamborghini Countach stunned the world when it was first shown as the LP500 concept at the 1971 Geneva Motor Show, and although it didn’t go into production until 1974, the Bertone-styled sensation went on to become the ultimate ‘pin-up’ supercar. It shares an anniversary with the Ferrari 365 GT/4 BB, which was introduced at the 1971 Turin Motor Show. Its use of a mid-mounted flat-12 engine was a radical departure for Ferrari road cars at that time, and marked the beginning of a line that would continue into the Testarossa during the 1980s. The last of the ‘Italians at 50’ is the Maserati Bora. The Giorgetto Giugiaro design was the Modena-based marque’s first mid-engined car, and fewer than 600 were built between its launch in 1971 and the end of production in 1978. Other milestones being celebrated during the Salon Privé Club Trophy presented by Lockton include 70 years of the Jaguar C-type, 40 years of the Lotus Esprit Turbo, and 20 years of the Aston Martin Vanquish. The iconic Jaguar E-type, meanwhile, is 60 years old in 2021, and Salon Privé will honour this most beautiful of automotive designs with a series of special events across the week. There will be a Manufacturer’s Award and a Secretary’s Award for each club, with the top prize going to the most exceptional car in attendance, as shortlisted by the club judges and manufacturers. The awards conclude with a grand parade of the winning cars. Salon Privé Director David Bagley said: ‘The Club Trophy is always an enjoyable part of Salon Privé Week, and we’re delighted to announce our long-term partnership with Lockton. This year’s event will be even more exclusive than in previous years – attendance will be limited to owners of a model from one of the selected marque clubs. It should make for a very special atmosphere.’ After experiencing the spectacle in the club paddocks, guests can explore the South Lawn. There they will find some of the most experienced and knowledgeable specialists and restorers in the UK, and will be able to enjoy unrivalled access to the automotive industry’s latest releases. There’s also a brand-new feature for 2021 in the shape of the Red Collection, a carefully curated set of cars that will be unveiled on Wednesday 1 September. The line-up will include the 1933 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Monza Zagato Spider that won last year’s Best of Show in the Concours d’Elégance. With a full programme of events, this year’s Salon Privé Week is set to be the ultimate end-of-summer motoring garden party. Whether you’re looking to get close to some of the world’s finest cars, enjoy the latest designs from leading watchmakers in Salon Privé TIME, or be surrounded by retail therapy courtesy of the most luxurious international brands, Salon Privé has something for everyone. Now in its 16th year, Salon Privé Week is a must-attend series of events for any car enthusiast or aficionado. A Partner Concours to the Peninsula Classics’ Best of the Best Award, Salon Privé is now recognised as one of the top events in the world alongside Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. Held annually within the grounds of Blenheim Palace, Salon Privé is firmly established as the UK’s most exclusive automotive event. Salon Privé Week 2021 1 September – Salon Privé Concours d’Elégance presented by Aviva 2 September – Salon Privé Concours d’Elégance presented by Aviva 3 September – Salon Privé Ladies’ Day presented by Boodles 4 September – Salon Privé Club Trophy presented by Lockton 5 September – Salon Privé Classic & Supercar Tickets can be purchased via the website www.salonpriveconcours.com  or by calling the Ticket Hotline: 0808 100 2205. The organisation provides emotional and practical support to families who have a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness, and thanks to the generation donations of guests and Concours entrants, the event has so far raised in excess of £1.1 million for these great causes.
