It is so fucking weird that there are folks who thought Izzy was the main character and not, like, the intensely and cruelly homophobic antagonist of Season 1 who got an incredible redemption arc in the midst of the actual story about Stede and Ed.

now that i think about it, my lucifer will actually not want to be with chloe anymore since mine is always looking to gain free will from god. he would find out from his brother chloe was made for him and then he would just.....not want to be with her. he has feelings for her but god has yet again used his will to interfere in his life. he does not want that. he loves chloe but he won’t be with her because god did this and he cannot get past it.

*looks up the Star Trek even/odd movie rule* Ah okay so Lucifer seasons follow the Star Trek rule of odd numbers sucking and even numbers being awesome. Got it.

#I immediate regretted saying S6 merely 'did its job' because I genuinely liked the series ending! S6 is my third favorite season!#and since my 3 favorite seasons are all the even numbered ones it reminded me of the Star Trek rule #so I had to double check the even/odd relationship with good/bad to see if Lucifer followed it or was the inverse #It follows it lol #S1 is absolutely hysterical with full knowledge of the series but would have never ever ever caught my interest #if I was watching with no prior knowledge #S5 is... very up and down. Not terrible per se but certainly not my favorite #and again S3 is offensively terrible. I have so many complaints that start with WTF and continue with Did you even watch S2???#A fabulous finale does not save that uneven bullshit #okay I'll stop complaining five years late. Sorry!

Me seeing art for a show I both hate and thoroughly love to roast: Someone worked really hard on this as an act of love, and I will not reblog their work just to trash the show in their tags. WILDLY homophobic show #but character-wise it is also like if Aang stayed in the South Pole airbending and being chased by Zuko for 6 seasons #and then he fucking died at the end for no reason.#does he ever learn the other elements? well it's talked about a lot. every episode in fact. but no not until the end of the last episode #right before he dies and then it shows that katara has grown old alone.#anyway i get mad when i see merlin fan art and it isn't fair to the queer artists or fans who make it so i do just make a separate post #and also the Merlin episode of the podcast 'Bait' is SO funny. it is a podcast about queerbaiting.#i hate queerbaiting at this point but it is a good podcast and so funny!!

tbh the more distance i get from the hysteria that took hold of me in 2021, the more pissed off i get that spn didn’t die after s2. like yeah it’s tragic and that COULD be interesting but it literally wasn’t. it was just bad AND sad. so it wasn’t even satisfying to watch or anything.

#speaking #the pacing also just gets so fucking bad in late seasons like these people are seriously incompetent.#i did complain abt this in my first watch through but when lucifer tells sam and jack one of them has to die and jack is like I'll Do It #and sam literally just stares at him for what feels like five entire minutes until two seconds before deanmichael gets there #and then goes 'no jack dont' like he was buffering or smth like. it was so pathetic couldn't even FEEL sad abt it bc of how bad it was #same thing with sam being kidnapped in s12 like dean is pissed off Allegedly but theres a fucking comedy break every other scene #and everyone just staring at each other for no reason like the cw deserves to be broke. should have killed it while it was good.

Season five. Lucifer tries to convince sam to grant him entry by appearing as his dead girlfriend.

Season eleven or twelve I don’t remember. I’m leaning twelve. Lucifer appears to the singer of jesse’s girl as his dead girlfriend. In order to convince him to grant him entry

Season fifteen. Lucifer appears. To dean winchester. As the dead angel castiel. To ask for entry.

So I like to think that cigarettes exist in the Devildom, and that they have their own brands and everything. Smoking is also probably more common and less stigmatised/hated than it is in (many places of) the human world. Humans are actually the reason that demons learned about smoking in the first place, and Devildom cigarettes are functionally identical to human-world cigarettes (since demons have basically copied the production method 1:1 from humans)

Demons aren't negatively affected by tobacco, nicotine, and smoking in general like humans are. So it's a lot more socially acceptable - it's still not common, but without the horrible side effects like lung cancer, heart disease, etc, it's not seen or thought of as a "bad habit" like it is for many humans.

Lucifer smokes occasionally, mostly for stress relief when he's overworked. He'll usually only indulge when he's on his own, mostly whenever he needs to calm down and decompress. The only room in the HoL where he'll smoke is in his study. Even for something as small as a cigarette, he doesn't like to be seen "relying" on anything to help him, thanks to his Pride.

Mammon will sometimes smoke, and he mostly does it when he's out at the club or in the casino. He's a "social smoker" like someone might be a social drinker. He's unlikely to ever pick up a cigarette at home or at RAD, but if he's out in the city partying the night away or gambling with a bunch of the Devildom's high-rollers, then he's more likely to light one up. He's also been photographed with cigs for the odd magazine spread.

Satan used to smoke, and he used to be the heaviest smoker in the family. He has since "quit" however, and claims that he no longer indulges in the habit. This is because he mostly smoked when he was younger and still full of rage, struggling to handle his Wrath without losing control of himself. Smoking helped him calm down and reduced his anger, and he would smoke for similar reasons as Lucifer (stress relief)

Satan maintains that he's put this part of his life behind him, though, and that it's been a very long time since he needed a crutch like cigarettes to help him stay calm. This is mostly true, though when exam season rolls around at RAD (and when he's stressed out trying to tutor five of his brothers as well as study for his own finals) Satan will secretly smoke in his room.

Diavolo doesn't normally smoke, but he'll do so on the rare occasions he meets with the Devildom's House of Lords. Many of the sitting members of the House smoke cigars or pipes, and Diavolo is socially savvy enough to light up a smoke as well in order to make a good impression. He may also smoke with Lucifer, but only if the Avatar of Pride pulls out his cigarettes first.

Mephistopheles has tried, on many occasions, to smoke with Diavolo whenever the Prince has done so - but Mephisto just turns into a coughing, spluttering mess every time. He can't handle even the mildest of cigarettes, and since it embarrasses him that he always starts choking and wheezing, he usually pretends that he hates smoking and will shit talk the habit.

Vivziepop wants you to see Charlie as a kind, caring person, but her actions say the opposite, making her appear selfish and horrible. In the show, we see:

-Charlie is an awful girlfriend to Vaggie, who runs the hotel for her since she’s too incapable of doing it herself. She doesn’t appreciate, defend, or support her, and she puts little work into their relationship and the hotel.

-Charlie learns about Angel being abused by Valentino but refuses to use her power to free him because she believes it’ll make her “mean and bossy.” She doesn’t even consider having her father and king of Hell, Lucifer, intervene if she doesn’t want to get her hands dirty.

-Charlie doesn’t have an issue with Alastor owning the souls of other demons and using them for his bidding, but does with Valentino owning Angel, whom she still hasn’t done anything about FIVE months later. She’s supposed to care heavily about Angel but is deliberately sitting on her hands.

-During the season finale, Charlie is cowering and apologizing to angels, who are trying to kill her and her citizens during a war. She barely fights despite Hell being heavily under attack and her citizens needing her help.

Charlie is supposed to be a nice character but is instead an annoying and inconsiderate woman-child who acts like she’s helpless and incapable of doing anything.
