Explanation:

Addison wasn't the MC that died - but that doesn't mean he has all of its memories. He gave up his happiest memories in order to help Asra get back the MC that did die. When he finds this out, he realises that he chose to forget its lovers over letting his cousin die. The guilt that follows (of forgetting the romantic times with Julian and completely forgetting Muriel) eats away at it when he finds it out, especially as they both remember him (and the time they spent together) just fine. Angst and a guilt complex ensues.

Explanation:

Aubrey is the only one of the Jest trio that wasn't born with the innate skills with magic. This had never bothered them...until the Red Plague hit. It was the night of the masquerade (the one of the ritual) and Aubrey just wanted to escape the party. Antoinette was dead and Addison was invited to the masquerade to accompany his "mentor" Julian and wanted Aubrey to leave the shop for once. That night, Aubrey, who was a secret friend of The Count, made a deal for magic so no one she loved would die of the plague again. Angst and and a corruption arc ensues.

Explanation:

Antoinette is Asra's MC...Enough said with that one. She's the one that died and, therefore, she doesn't remember anything. Both her and Addison lack memories but Antoinette is the only one that doesn't feel guilty about it...but she does feel sad about it. Despite this, she is the happiest of the three Jests because there is nothing for her to feel guilt about. Angst and melancholy moments ensue.

Taking a swim with Lucio

Ok, I might be a complete and total sucker for the Aquarium Mermaid AU, and I maaaaaybe shipping Lucio and Sk'lai a wee bit too hard.

Also, Lucio being a Lionfish kinda killed me cause lionfish are so freaking extra with their spines and stripes. And Sk'lai without her dragon parts looks cute af.

Monochrome Challenge

Hey hey hey!! Thank you soooooo much to @pastatrolastrash for tagging me in this challenge. When I saw your post with your MC and Valerius in the shades of blue.... omg I was SHOOK. I love it. I hope you don't mind, but I think I wanna keep the intimate/spicy artwork train going lol!

I actually really love doing monochromatic artwork, I just haven't had the confidence to do it in a while! But anyway.... here's my first two pieces!

Monochrome Challenge #1: Shades of Black I drew my girl Remy in some AU/Modern Day wear.

Monochrome Challenge #2: Shades of Red Red just makes me think of Lucio... and I wanted to draw something spicy too since I rarely do that. (Probably gonna do that with the rest of the colors too). So here you have Lucio kissing Remy on her neck... which is one of her favorite kissing spots.

So here's how it goes:

You have a list of colors (blue, black, red, orange, green, purple and pink) and gotta draw something for each one of them using the corresponding shades

Hmm... hey @mt-beau , @wingcinna ,@julians-chest-hair , @canistheapprentice @s-m-a-l-l-s .... you wanna give this challenge a go? Only if you want to, of course 🥰🤗.

The New Girl

Chapter 2: First Shift

Sk'lai POV

I push my small lapis stud earrings in, a gift that my aunt gave to me, and finished up my new look with a cowrie bracelet. All set, prepared, and looking good for my first official shift of the Vesuvia Aquarium.

It's morning, and I'm quite excited for this new opprotunity. I take a look at myself in the mirror, fidgeting my hands together with a sense of anxiety. I have to do good for this. After all, I was assigned to work with not just the merfolk, but also the otters and the harp seals. It's just something small, like cleaning the outside of the tanks; Mr. Blanch mentioned that the small jobs are used for newcomers to get used to the place.

After all, Simon is more experienced at the aquarium than I am, so he might give me some tips for later. He seems to enjoy showing me the ropes and how to care for some of the animals here to keep them happy, and for that I'm grateful! It's honestly better than going in blind; I'd be done for if it wasn't for him. Especially since this is a rescue aquarium.

My cousin was awesome enough to lend me a ride via his black SUV, since my car is back at my uncle's shop getting it fixed. Gotta love family!

"So, make sure that each of the otters get the same amount of fish, nutrients, and vitamins," Simon explains, giving the otters sardines and anchovies, "Some of them get a bit rowdy, but they aren't that hostile towards their own kind."

"Oh, I see! So, which one is who?" I ask, crouching down and tossing in some fish into the water.

"See that one with the torn ear? That's Lunar, the two over there are the twins Summer and Autumn, this guy right here Percy," He lists off, giving each otter their fish, "this is Aries, and finally this little fella Riku!"

"Awww! They're so cute!" I coo as the otter with the torn ear, Lunar, takes the fish from my hand with his paws.

"Watch your fingers, Lunar in particular gets a bit greedy and can get a bit nippy." Simon warns me, and I recoil my arm back with a quick squeak. Simon snorts, "Relax, it's not like they'll take off your whole fingers. They're quite friendly as long you don't make them mad."

"Oh, that's fair!" I reply, Simon tossing in the last of the fish to the otters, "Say, you think I should work with the merfolks next?"

"Sure thing! You know where it is, right?" He asks me, "I don't mind if you need a quick way to get there."

"Yeah, that'd be very much appreciated, Simon!" I say sheepishly, standing up straight, "This is only my first day on the job, so I might get lost without the help."

"Alright! Let's get going, Sk'lai!"

10 Minutes Later...

"Here's the lower area of the Merfolk section. It's sorta restricted every once in a while for maintanance," Simon explains, using his key card to open the doors, "We should clean the glass and the floor area itself. Keep things santitary, right? I'll be right back, I'm going into the maintanance room really quick to get the cleaning supplies."

He walks out of the room and a few seconds after his leaving, I hear the sound of glass knocking. I turn, and see Asra with a welcoming smile as he beckons me towards him.

I walk over to Asra tank, hands in front of me, "Well, well, well! Good to see you again, Sk'lai! Enjoying yourself?"

I nod, "I just got finished with feeding the otters a while ago," I say, sitting in front of his tank, "I got cleaning this place next. You guys seem very sweet!"

Asra beams, "That's very kind of you, Sk'lai. Buuuut you might find a few other folks here," He tips his head to Julian's tank, and I look over to find him and another female worker in a wetsuit in the tank together. I raise a brow of curiousity.

"Who's that over there?"

"Oh, that's Julianne! Real sweet girl and quite the amount of patience on her shoulders." Asra introduces me, "I'm sure you two would get along pretty well! She's got a lot of experience, almost as much as that Simon fellow."

"Ooohh! Well, she does seem pretty experienced, by the looks of her in the tank! Maybe I can get some tips from her!" I chime as I look up at Asra, "She seems nice too!"

The white haired merman nods in response, "As I said, you two might get along pretty well!"

"Hey, Sk'lai!" I hear Simon call out to me, "I got the supplies for you. How about you work on Lucio, Portia Asra's tanks while I work with Muriel, Julian, and Nadia's, sound good?"

"Sounds great! Thanks for the help, Simon!" I chirp, before getting to work, "I'm definately having good time right now, and I'm honestly really excited for tomorrow's shift. I get to visit you guys more!"

"That's quite kind of you, thank you, Sk'lai!" Asra says with a smile.

Hey there!! Omg I am soooo glad somebody sent me this because this has been on my mind for a little while... I just couldn't decide if I wanted to share it yet. So shoutout to you @supadupafly88girl for sending me this cute ask!!

So here's my take on 4 of those 6 babies... the other 2 are currently in Remy's belly... Remy and Anastasio just doesn't know it yet... well, they think it's just one baby, but it's twins!! Lol.

@wingcinna what do you think? I didn't color them in yet because I wanted to get your input too, especially since Anastasio is your OC!! I wanted to ask you what you think their names should be too.

You see... I wanted all the babies to have their daddy's (err... I mean father's) genetic eyebrows, with a blend of both if their parent's eyes, noses, lips, and hair texture... I also really loved that baby pic Cinna drew of Anastasio when Sajna was holding him... so that baby look inspired some of their faces too.

So I'll just go from left to right. Again, I don't have names for them, but I do have ages lol. The tall girl on the far left behind (whose very regal and mature for her age) Remy is about 9-10; the precious little one (non-binary) asking for them not to fight is about 6-7; the challenger/total mini Anastasio is 8; and the playful cutie pie "attacking" her father to help her big bro is 5-6. Remy and Anastasio are a little aged at this point... but they age like a fine wine in my eyes sooooo 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Lucio's not giving anytime soon, so is Maia. But they have to win this round before they'll ran out of men. So they divided the army in half for offense and defense. Lucio leads the front with horses, while Maia leads the defenses with her spinning axe weapon while the men with arrows and spears. Lucio x Maia #022: Caught Off Guard . In most occasions, Maia's always been floored by Lucio's heart-felt honesty. She rarely shows it (she mastered the art of the resting bitch face in most occasions). But this time, Lucio's confession really made her heart-skipped a beat and blush, putting some color on her pale-albino skin. She contained her jaw from dropping, thankfully. But she has never seen such raw emotion in Lucio's confession before, that for moment, she thought of him as the most beautiful man she has ever met. . . Oof! Romantic feels. Confessional love scene, and he did it first among the 3 new Main chars of the game. @thearcanagame, why you torture me so? I mean.. why you torture Maia this much? So anyway, why this getup of hers? In my version, she also got her looks change like Lucio did as they travelled through the past again with the same ghostly entities that scares the living crap out of him. In her resurrection from the dead, Asra keeps Mai's usual fashion scene of black and yellow to help her memory. And yes, her hair was like that before. Back then, she was bullied that they messed up her hair, but Asra helped her style it, and she felt comfortable with it. Ochoka-style, I know. Lucio x Maia #21: "I'm Sick of Your Non-Sense" . Idk which book was it, but it was on that scene when he keeps denying his deals from the demons (a.k.a. Lucio x Maia #013: The Five Of Cups I had this sudden idea about the Minor Arcana representations of the 6 MCs. It's obvious the MC of the game's MAJOR Arcana is The Fool. I decided to make something different for them. Maia represents the Five of Cups.
