A Special Birthday Surprise

A birthday fic that I made due to the fact that it's my birthday! I hope you all enjoy this!

"Eis, set those chairs right over here, please," Lance said, looking at the firefighter while holding a recipe book. He pointed to a vacant table. "They are on the heavy side, so make sure to handle them with ease."

"On it, Lance," Eis replied as he and Jose started to lift the chairs up, one by one, and bring them to the table that Lance pointed at.

"What do you think of these decorations, Balan?" NiGHTS asked. They were helping Fiona and Haoyu hang up balloons and other pretty birthday decorations the colors of royal blue, light yellow, white, and apple red. "Think Aria would love them?"

"Why, my dear cousin, I'm sure as sure can get," Balan replied with a grin. "Aria would no doubt be thrilled to see the final results, if you want my bet."

"I agree with Balan," Iben added with a nod. "After all, they are all in Aria's signature colors." She continued to place the decorations on each table.

Everyone in the Balan Theatre had been extremely busy for almost a week. The reason for this made so much sense; Aria's birthday was coming up. Of course, they had to keep what they were doing under wraps whenever their friend was around.

"Say, has Lance decided on what kind of cake that he'll make Aria?" NiGHTS asked.

"He wishes for it to be a surprise," Balan stated. "But trust me when I say that you will love it when you see the cake with your own eyes."

The doors barged open to reveal Kaylo holding a LARGE pile of presents. "I hope I wasn't too late," Kaylo said.

"Where were you, Kaylo?" Rebecca asked, looking up from the refreshment table that she was busy decorating.

"My family and I went gift shopping for Aria," Kaylo explained. "Then, I spent all morning helping them wraps the presents up. So sorry for the long wait. Where can I set them?"

"I finished setting up the gift table," Bruce responded. "You can set them over there." He pointed to the gift table that was currently vacant aside from the decorations.

"Thanks, Bruce." Kaylo made her way to the table and carefully placed the presents down.

"Wow, that's a lot of presents," Yuri said. "I still have mine at home. I was told that Aria's favorite insect is the Monarch Butterfly."

"One of them is from me," Kaylo said. "I got her a pretty spring outfit. The rest are from my family."

(Meanwhile, in the Night Dimension)

Reala sat on the throne of his domain, humming in deep thought. Since the beginning of the week, that was what he had been doing aside from his duties as a Nightmaren General. This was because he was well aware that Aria's birthday was coming up…

…But there was one problem…

…He was the only one who had no idea as to what to give Aria for her birthday.

Reala needed to think fast as to what to give her. Fortunately, in the time that he dated her, he got to know her a lot better just like she got to know him. So it was easy for him to remember her personal likes and dislikes.

Aria obviously loved cats. Royal Blue was her favorite color. She also liked wearing jewelry as evident on the day that he first met her. She had been wearing her wedding ring that was placed onto her left ring finger by the man that she was once married to.

To know that he was able to fill the gap in her heart that Aria's late husband left brought Reala genuine happiness. To the point where there had been times that he would wonder how things would if he married her.

While he and Aria had talked about marriage at one point, Reala was well aware that she was still a bit iffy about remarrying. This was due to her fear that the same thing that happened to her late husband would also happen to Reala. That he would leave her only for disaster to strike, making him unable to return to her.

That was when it hit Reala…

…He knew exactly as to what to give Aria for her birthday…

…He was going to pop the question to Aria. After all, the two had been dating each other for quite some time.

He had an idea as to what Aria's present from him would look like. It would no doubt represent the love that they had for each other.

With a determined smile, Reala flew into a deeper part of his domain and got to work on Aria's special present from him.

(Three Days Later…)

"SURPRISE!!" Everyone yelled in joy when Aria turned on the lights to the room that the party would take place.

Aria gasped in awe and delight as she looked around. "Oh my goodness!" She exclaimed. "I can't believe you did all of this of me!"

"Well, of course, darling!" Lucy replied with the same amount of joy that Aria had. "You've been such an amazing friend to us! When your birthday came, we just had to celebrate it!" Her eyes landed on a silver charm bracelet that was on Aria's right wrist. "Your bracelet is adorable! Where did you get it?"

Aria smiled as she looked down at the charm bracelet. It had seven charms on it; one was Aria's initial, one was Scotland's flag, one was a princess crown, one was a butterfly, one was a star, one was a heart, and one was a dove. "My mother gave me the bracelet this morning," She replied.

"Well, it looks really lovely on you," Cal commented. "Now, let's go celebrate your birthday." He motioned for Aria to join in on the fun.

"Shall we watch Aria open presents or should we all sing to her a Happy Birthday?" Trisha Jane asked. Before Aria could answer, Leo and Emma came rushing by, fear on their faces.

"Guys!" Emma cried out. "Reala is here in the theatre! He's looking for Aria!"

"What could he possibly want with Aria this time?" Sana asked, suddenly getting protective along with Eis.

"Hard to say, but I only know that he likes her a lot," NiGHTS said, becoming protective. "Either way, if he tries anything funny to Aria, I'll be sure to step in!"

As if on cue, Reala suddenly appeared inside the room where the party was at. Kaylo, Mei, Marina, Rebecca, and Trisha Jane all backed away. Leo quickly shielded Emma while Jose and Attilio shielded Yuri and Cass.

"Reala, why are you here?" NiGHTS demanded, getting into a fighting stance.

Reala smirked at NiGHTS's annoyance. "Isn't it obvious, my dear sibling?" He replied in an amused tone. "I came here to see my girlfriend, Aria. I also happen to have a present for her."

"Reala, this better not be a trick or a sick joke," Lance said, glaring at his cousin. "Because if it's either, you will be one sorry bloke."

"I can assure that it's neither," Reala said, frowning at Lance.

Aria looked at NiGHTS and the two maestros. "Don't worry, you three," She assured. "Reala would never hurt me." She approached her Nightmaren lover.

"Ah, Aria," Reala spoke, a light smile on his face. "I have made you a very special present. I do sincerely hope you love it." He then cleared his throat. "Now, we have been together for a quite a while, haven't we?"

"We have." Aria nodded in response with a smile.

"Since the day we met, I found myself thinking about you a lot," Reala explained. "I'd never felt this way toward anyone before. Not even toward a Visitor. You're the only Visitor that I know would never betray my trust. What I am trying to say is that you are MY brightest star in my universe. And I never realized how cold my life really was until I met you. Which is why I wish to ask you something that I should have asked you on the day that I confessed my love for you…"

He then revealed what he was hiding behind his back; a small ring box. Everyone, including Aria, gasped in awe as Reala got down on one knee and opened the box to reveal an engagement ring with a black gold band and two heart-shaped stones; one with a red diamond and one with a blue diamond.

"Aria Montgomery, will you marry me?" Reala asked.

Aria was silent for a minute. Then, happy tears swelled up in her eyes as she nodded. "Yes, I will marry you!!"

Everyone clapped at Aria's response as Reala placed the ring on her left ring finger. The two engaged lovers shared a passionate kiss together.

"Guess we'll have to start planning for Aria's wedding soon, huh?" Haoyu asked Fiona with a smile. All Fiona could do was nod with a smile.

Been a while since I’ve done this kind of thing. Buuuut….

Semi-Corruption Headcanon: The inhabitants who are semi-corrupted would have their eyes turned into their semi corrupted form even though they have not transformed in others’ birthday. For example, when Jose transforms in December 26(correct me if I’m wrong), Cal, Lucy and the others would only have their eyes transform.

Not only that, they can sense each other’s activity even from far away.

In this case, when Cal and Lucy try to sleep in midnight, they can hear Jose, in his werewolf form, going on nightly patrols and howling about on the streets, much to their irritation.

Don’t worry, they’ll talk to Jose and he’ll listen since he is a good boy.

Some of my Cal X Lucy Headcannons

I headcannon that Cal has tried to learn to dance for Lucy's sake, but he can't due to him getting klutzy around her, so he asked for personal help from Balan and Lance...it turns out their solution made him EVEN MORE Klutzy (one of them dressed up as Lucy)

I headcannon that whenever he and Lucy get together, for SOME STRANGE REASON, things get REALLY romantic, like they end up in a area where the birds start singing for them. Or near a bush where a million multicolored Butterflies come to greet them (it's the inhabitants doing)

I headcannon that Cal tends to fumble a little when he thinks of Lucy, he turns into a Klutz around her, and Lucy finds it endearing, she thinks he's falling Head over heels for him

I also headcannon that sometimes Cal tries to write poetry for Lucy and Lucy tries to paint a perfect portrait of Cal for him...the key word is tries. (Cal keeps tossing his ideas in the trash and starting over and Lucy is VERY close to artist block again)

I headcannon that Cal and Lucy often do like to joke about their "future wedding" but of course, the other inhabitants often take this into account (Lucy stated once that if they get married, she wants Cal to wear royal robes...but Balan had made some for him already)

Wonderous Encounter

《Balan had found himself outside the realm of the magical theater. What can he do!?》

It was unlike the theater to be so... Alive today. Often closing doors and areas where our Maestro needed to go. It was becoming odd to Balan. Just what was going through the theater today?

Balan finishes feeding the Tim's, the fluffy creatures, as well as being quite different. They seemed more pushy and forward. Trying to get Balan out of Wonderworld.

The maestro only sighs at the creatures, allowing them to force him outside.

Stepping back into the real world. He caressed the wood walls of the theater gently with a smile. The theater made a soft creak in greeting, yet had a small grumble.

"My dear friend, what is the matter? You seem a bit sadder."

The theater becomes still and quiet, the few windows that were once closed start to open. As Tim's rush out from their places and start to crowd around Balan.

"What has gotten into you all?!" The Maestro shrieks, surprised by the opening doors to the theater as Balan is once again being pushed by the Tim's.

Stumbling and trying not to fall, Balan holds onto the handles of the doors. His smile became strained as he felt his fingers slipping.

Lance makes it through the crowd of Tim, a coy smile on his face.

"Lance! I believe this meeting is not by chance.."

The king of negati places a black tendril on Balan's shoulder.

"Good luck Balan."

Pushing the maestro away, Balan loses his grip. Falling onto the cement outside of the theater.

"This isn't funny, Lance!'' Balan yells, hurriedly trying to pry the doors open before a human could see him.

"It is for your own good, Balan. I will let you back in, in time..." The former maestro chuckled.

"You swine..!" Balan hissed, pulling even harder on the twin doors. "The theater will allow you inside before nighttime," Lance states. His voice faded away as the host of the theater could no longer feel his presence.

Stomping on his heel with a pout, the maestro heard a soft chirp as a wad of human cash was slipped beyond the doors.

Surprised at this, Balan bends down and picks it up, a small note attached to it.

A scribbled heart and what looked like a three-layered cake.

At this point, Balan could only chuckle for the absurdity of the situation. Tapping on the door, he bids the theater farewell as he goes to the nearest clothing store. Knowing his clothes would cause more attention than needed in his "day-out".

Staring dully at the items of clothing you had folded and put away. You stretch your back, feeling your joints pop and scream at your lack of exercise. Ignoring the odd tingling sensations in your body, you gaze hopelessly at the outfit of your dreams.

The colors and fabric sway your judgment to not waste your paycheck. But knowing another brand was possibly selling even a replica made you frown.

A song of bells wakes you from your thoughts.

The clerk greeted the customer uncaringly. Yet you stare bug-eyed at them.

A tall, humanoid-like man adorn with a white top hat and a matching white suit with gold and red frills steps inside. The smile on their face reminded you of the "smile your on camera" sign hanging on the side of the room.

"Hello!" His voice booms loudly, the cheer very present in his tone.

"Hi... Sir..? W-what can I do for you?" The clerk asked, once seeing the tall man walk over to their station.

"I would like to try on an outfit."

"Of course." They reply and step away from behind the cashier counter. Pulling out a small key chain with a single key dangling on it.

You, on the other hand, couldn't keep your eyes away from the person who had walked in. You felt your heart racing and your cheeks flushing a darker color of your skin.

Shyly peeked at where the other patron went. You grab whatever clothes near you and with no wobbly knees. Follow after the two.

As soon as the new customer clicked the door shut to the dressing room. You arrived, the clerk smiled at you and unlocked another door for your changing room.

You thank them and close the door, hearing their footsteps walk away.

"Must I really change? Oh, that darn Lance is to blame!" The familiar voice of the stranger spoke loudly. Their tone very displeased with this "Lance" person.

"You okay over there?" You call out, fiddling with the top of your clothes, removing them as you hobbled on your feet.

"Ah yes! I'm fine, I just need to unwind."

"Really?" You ask, patting down the new outfit as you twist and turn in the mirror. Noticing it hugged your curves and aera nicely.

"Yes!''

"Okay, uhmm.." You trail off, not knowing their name.

Your words grabbed their attention as they introduce themselves.

"B.. Balan, call me Balan."

You nodded your head but forgot they couldn't see you.

"(Y/N)." You answer back, now more focused on the mirror in front of you.

You hum at your appearance, not bad... But not the look you were going for? You were unsure...

"Aughh, I dunno, I dunno!"

"What is amiss, my friend? You seem distressed?"

The stranger calls back to you, oops, maybe you were too loud.

"I'm just not, loving, this outfit. It fits and looks nice, but I just don't know.." You whined, checking the price tag, your lips turning up at the suitable price.

"Okay, now my opinion is a bit swayed." You answer, hearing Balan chuckle at your antics. "I see!"

"What about you?" You asked, carefully taking off the outfit so you don't ruin it before buying.

"Hmm, alas, but even I.. Perhaps, would you mind if I asked?"

"Oh! Yeah, sure!" You reply, happy that your normal clothes were back on.

Once out of the changing room, you hold the clothes close to your chest. Waiting for your "changing room buddy" to come out.

The clerk returns to check up on both of ya'll. You tell her you were fine, just waiting for your... Friend?

Suddenly, the door of where the new customer opens up.

You weren't expecting a tall, green-haired man with golden-yellow eyes staring at you in shock as well.

Balan wore a simple button-up shirt with a dark blue vest and dark long pants. His heeled boots are mostly covered.

The clerk compliments him kindly before heading back to the register.

But you stand in place like a love sick puppy.

"Hehe, do you like my appearance? It seems like it made you incoherent."

He giggled, finding your features rather charming and intriguing.

"You're gorgeous." You state, not once regretting your words as the man stared at you in wonderment.

"You, my dear, make me breathless." The stranger breathes out, their smile causing butterflies in your stomach.

Hi! Uh umm... Got any headcanons for Yuri+Dusk Butterfly and Lucy+Inky Blaster Fusion?

I have a few! They look so gorgeous! I can't wait to see more!

When Yuri and Lucy fused with their Representative Costumes, they didn't just receive their powers. They also had bits of their costumes' personalities. Yuri would become more outgoing and curious. Whereas Lucy would be an extreme neat freak.

One of the things that Yuri can do is see in the dark. So when her stage gets dark, not only will she be able to fly, but she can also see where she's going.

Lucy, on the other hand, can control both paint and ink. She can create shapes, shields, and use her powers to attack.

Despite their capabilities, both Yuri and Lucy would have to face their costumes' limitations. Yuri's powers will weaken in daylight whereas Lucy would have a hard time jumping.
