The Birth of The Savior Announced

8 In the same region there were some shepherds staying out in the fields and keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them; and they were terribly frightened. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people. 11 For today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12 And this will be the sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” 13 And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,

We are a sports dominated culture like no culture before us. I include myself. A day isn’t complete for me in the Spring, Summer or Fall without an update on how the Phillies did. Luke 15:7, "There is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who were righteous and haven't strayed away!"

i was thinking about this verse recently and wondering.. how different it would be if people could see just how important they are to God. so important in fact that the Creator of the universe, an everlasting Being, came down Himself to experience death to set us free from Death. if you were the only human needing redemption, He would have gone through it all just for you.

it's up to you to accept or reject this payment on your behalf. there's no way to pay it yourself, you can never be "good enough" to make it to Heaven. He took on your punishment for you and only His sacrifice absolves you from it. if you reject Him, He will honor that decision, and you'll spend eternity separated from Him and all joy, light, and happiness. not because He's cruel, but because all good things stem from the Lord. there is no life without Jesus Christ.

the experience of the man in this comic is actually based on many testimonies i've listened to. people cried out to Jesus, and either saw or felt His love and were changed. don't wait! you have the entirety of Heaven cheering you on, longing for you to join our family. the hole in your heart can only be filled by the Holy Spirit's Presence. don't reject your opportunity to experience God's wonders forever, in a reality far greater than Earth could ever hope to be.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

Common Things That Cause Spats in the HoL

1- Mammon stealing something of Levi's. Or anyone. Levi's just his most common target.

2- Someone eating Beel's food

3- Waking Belphie from a nap

4- Stealing any brothers' time with MC

5- "OH MY LORD DIAVOLO HURRY UP IN THE FUCKING BATHROOM!"

6- Asmo waking people up when he's fucking someone b/c motherfucker loves the sound of his own voice so when he masturbates or fucks, everyone in the house hears it.

7- Someone didn't do their chores

8- The brothers hear you fucking anyone other than them in your room. (They get so petty).

9- Beel eating something that belongs to someone or trying to eat the house. Again.

10- Lyric pranks. They've been forbidden since that one time MC did the lyrics for "Let Me See Your O Face". You all still do them.

11- MC not warning Lucifer if Diavolo's coming over.

12- Lucifer not warning anyone else that Diavolo was coming over.

13- Pranking Barbatos with fake rats when he visits. It took a week to rebuilt the living room.

14- Mammon attempting to take pics of people without permission.

15- MC pranking everyone with fake facts about the Human Realm

16- Anyone attempting to ruin Luke's innocence in front of MC and/or Simeon

17- MC letting Solomon make dinner for the brothers >:)

While long hair on men continued to be the fashion during the 1400s, the style started to draw criticism from churchmen and other moralistic authorities who worried that long hair for men meant trouble. This resulted in long hair mostly falling out of fashion by the 1500s. However, beard-wearing was still seen as a sign of masculinity and almost a rite of passage, symbolising the transition from boy to man. CC links under the cut.
