I finished this a while ago and forgot to post it. Here's my finished portrait of Lyrus Salothran, Lawman of House Telvanni. As you can see, he enjoys dressing nice, which prompts Julan to tease him about it, saying, "Do all Telvanni travel the Ashlands in their formal wear?"
Side note: when my mom saw me sketching him, she said he looked like 'elf Jesus', and I love that.

Aphrodite Deity Guide
Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of love, sex, fertility, and beauty. She is known by the Romans as Venus. I've become interested in working for Aphrodite recently.
This is from my personal grimoire but I tried to remove anything that is an opinion or bias.

Who is Aphrodite?
Strongly associated with love and beauty, Aphrodite is also worshipped as a sea-fairing goddess as she is associated with the ocean.
Some places, most notably Sparta, Thebes, and Cyprus honored her as a goddess of war.
In the epic Theogony, the author tells how Aphrodite was born from the severed genitals of Uranus, personification of heaven. The genitals were tossed into the sea by Cronus and out rose Aphrodite.
The goddess gets her namesake from the Greek work aphros which means “foam”.

Sometimes it’s said that she is the daughter of Zeus and Dione.
If she was the daughter of Ouranos, her siblings include the Titans, such as Cronus, Rhea, Hyperion, and others.
If Aphrodite was one of the daughters of Zeus, she had many half siblings since he had multiple affairs. Hephaestus, Ares, Athena, Artemis, Apollo, Hermes, Dionysus and Persephone were all her half siblings, and she didn’t have any direct siblings

Misc Notes
Many of the epithets are names or titles from various cults that worshipped Aphrodite.
Prostitutes identified Aphrodite as their patron deity.
A male version of Aphrodite known as Aphroditus was worshipped in the city of Amathus on Cyprus. Aphroditus was depicted with the figure and dress of a woman, but had a beard and was shown lifting his dress to reveal an erect phallus.
This gesture was believed to be an apotropaic symbol, and was thought to convey good fortune upon the viewer. Eventually, the popularity of Aphroditus waned as the mainstream, fully feminine version of Aphrodite became more popular, but traces of his cult are preserved in the later legends of Hermaphroditus.
It’s likely that Aphrodite was brought over from the Eastern Mediterranean, hinting to Phoenician goddess Astarte or the near Eastern goddess Inanna (Ishtar).
The Petra Tou Romaniou also named “Aphrodite’s Rock” is a sea stack said to be a marker of where she was born. This rock is by a beach in Paphos, Cyrpus.
She was specifically the protectress of city magistrates.

Well, I have to make the bracket itself. As you can see, there's a bit more cats than I was intending to have, which means that certain polls in round 1 will have more than just two options. I can already tell you that a lot of the cats from the same fandoms are going to be eliminated in round one. That's why I kept them in. I'm planning on making up the first round match ups based heavily on the similarities between cats and the fandoms they're from. ALSO as you've probably noticed, some cats come in a bundle. That's because they're a family. I'm not doing this to Kitty Softpaws and Puss (at least YET), because even though they also get married in the end, there's a huge gap in their submission numbers. If you're wondering, how big, you may want to know that up to Tigger from Winnie the Pooh (that is, almost the entire first pic) are the cats that got 2+ submissions, in their order of popularity.
Next step - brackets!!! I want to do this well and I hope I don't underestimate certain fandoms!!!

“A thousand sparks can burn through your defenses just as quickly as one massive blaze. Observe.”
“Hey, wait! Attikar-”
The young warrior frantically raised his shield, just as a barrage of small embers shaped like lizards shot impacted against the metal. Hearing a sharp sizzling sound, he looked down, and quickly dropped the buckler upon seeing the holes the magic had burned through it. He bellowed angrily at the wizard who had attacked him, standing across the way.
“Attikar! We don’t need a practical demonstration, okay?”
But the kor mage was already ignoring the other man. Instead he turned away to smirk at a second wizard, sitting stoically atop a nearby rocky outcrop.
“Impressive, don’t you think, Lyrus?” Attikar asked smugly.
“Powerful,” the other mage corrected. “But ‘impressive’? No.”
“Then how, pray tell, would you break a shield?”
Over the shouts of the still-protesting warrior, Lyrus stood up atop the ridge and stretched languidly. Then, with a flick of her wrist, she summoned a flock of ominous storm clouds overhead. The sky darkened, and both Attikar and the hapless warrior stared up in anticipation.
“Hey…Lyrus?” squeaked the warrior. “One was enough, from Attikar. I don’t need another- AH!”
Reacting just in time, the man picked his shield up from the ground and raised it overhead. Not a second later, a blinding bolt of lightning struck the metal surface, giving its bearer an intense shock. Again he cast aside the damaged shield as the storm clouds receded, leaving his smoldering hair plain for Attikar and Lyrus to see.
“See?” Lyrus sniffed. “That was impressive. And besides, fire is too imprecise for my tastes. I’d rather rely on a single, well-placed bolt of lightning.”
Attikar grinned, and jabbed at Lyrus with an accusing finger. “Aha! So you admit it’s a matter of preference.”
“The type of magic, yes. The presentation, no.”
As the two mages argued, the warrior sat down on the rocky ground, trying in vain to pat the lingering embers atop his head.
