Drawcia : The Last two were my sons Ryo and Shiro. I met a beautiful a man who was really a painter and that man is a named Kurosaki, not the father of that Shinigami fella, but the Kurosaki I know and he is Ryo and Shiro's father.

Mamimi : Oh yeah. I've kinda didn't noticed that you mothered a son, no Idea of how that tied a knot, but Ryo and Shiro are basically your sons and I found that you have relatives what were their names?

Lucikly had some occasions that Ryo's father told me that I would keep an eye on him with every monitor that I've cornered throughout Tokyo and Japan.

Mamimi : Homura Akemi was your family's creation, a creation that was part of the Time Eater. Ayumi Shiraishi, our animator of Gainax had given you contract to create of world of Witches set up by you?

Drawcia : Well, umm...That was no concern of having a contract of one of them famous animator from one of them japanese studios of animation, Drawcia Family corp was highly doubt that I would be responsible for those kind, yes, I foreshadow Ayumi Shiraishi to be leader of that group called Gekidan Inu Curry. Just a few covers up to think that there is a world of witches, ha! that young girl Homura Akemi is such a fool!

Mamimi : Man, you have no idea how much money you've kept, you realized that it's only the beginning of time before we hit 2011. Is there a way that we can fix all of this? Or I'm just asking that we might find a way to stop that demon's reign of terror?

Drawcia : Well, probably I managed to cure all of humanity with the simple minds of a color that I gathered from each rainbow, somewhere in Ireland, Somewhere at the end of it, probably that I found in Hawaii. Researchers that the world's corlors that I brought back was a lonely bucket that gathered Rainbow Juice to create a simple tree that brings enough color power. Our researchers also discover that Rainbow may not be the power since I gave them Pretty Patties that were highly contaminated and sued his pants off!

Mamimi : I crack myself up with the Pretty Patties thing. Eating those will change your colors and there highly contaminated, that's what you getting for eating colored food that is like Green Eggs and Ham.

Drawcia : [grunts]

Mamimi : Oh, right! You know, the book from Springfield, Massachusetts, that Dr.Seuss book that is about a guy who eats ham and eggs that are green. I get that. It's like I would read it like it's a cup of tea.

Drawcia : Finally. You know professionally don't ready any controversial stuff that are way too offended, I just don't know why their parents think that Shounen Mangas would be bad for their health, It's what said Freddy Krueger, "Comic Books and Mangas was bad for ya."

Mamimi : So, I guaranteed that it's all the way of how America took the blame of everything, America wasn't had much greatness of a country, it's humanity's own stupidty. Putting the blame on Video Games? Nah. Shows contains graphic violence, sex, and nudity? Bleh! And them disliking Animes and Manga that also have the gruesome violence, sex, nudity, and of course the fanservice? Pfft! whatever!

Drawcia : Yeah, America is always the asshole that was to Japan's Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but then Japan treated the country back in World War II when they have the chance to bomb Pearl Harbor. I did some research in history back when the world was in Black and White, before I gave the world it's colors from the rainbows itself. Time changes a lot when it comes to history, I've managed to secure the minds that all of humanity was surely aware that Inky Albarn ruled the world against them before she tried to cover the world in Inky Darkness, before she stopped by the technicolor toons.

Mamimi : Wait, Inky Albarn spared her time during World War II as Demon Queen of the Monochrome World? Real World AU was once known as the 1930s World AU, where ficitional characters were toons that really existed before Anime and Manga existed in this world as well. So what do you think that there might be a chance that how did these technicolor toons that defeated Inky Albarn for real?

Drawcia : It's simple, to put a stop to the demon queen's reign of terror and restore the world's colors, we need all seven colors to combine the rainbow's ultimate attack that has ever brought magic from these pot of golds that Ireland has. We call this attack "The Final Color Blaster".

Mamimi : An ultimate attack that combines all seven colors, Or I bet that might be the key to where all seven the colors might be at. Check this out. I just discovered something from my telescope at night.

Mamimi : When I looking at the stars to get a good glimpse from my Homestar Theory, I just discovered that amusement park has chained up four planets that could be the work of that Mad Scientist who was keeping it a secret after the Dark Gaia Incident around four years ago when Soul Eater debuted as a show. The four chained planets had these names Sweet Mountain, Aquarium Park, and Asteroid Coaster, and what did I find was that a planet is being consumed by two machines, it's the homeworld of those aliens called Wisps, a colored space creatures that have ability to use the power of colors called Hyper-go-on Energy.

Drawcia : I've known those planets, they mysteriously appeared in Sonic's World after that Dark Gaia Incident around four years prior. Two years before the Olympics, Eggman decided to bring cover ups to secretly capture the Wisps and corrupt their Hyper-Go On Energy with this. [holds up a wisp capsule that contains a Purple Wisp]

Mamimi : Hmm. I never seen one of things before, you sure Eggman did those to turn into what are they called?

Drawcia : There's only one explanation for that, they're called the N... [attemtps to say the "N" word, butter stutters] Oh no, I'm about it to say it.

Mamimi : What is it that they're called?

Drawcia : I believe that the purple and violet wisps are called...The...The...[determined] They're called the "Nega" Wisps.

Mamimi : [in shock] OH NO!...Okay about the word "Nega" you said, that would be something to that to minor racial slur.

Drawcia : Yeah, I know the word for that is Negative for short, no wonder that is called "Nega" for short.

Drawcia : I understand, Eggman should call these things "Negative" Wisps Is what I like to prefer and not say such bad things in a way of racial tolerance, and for the Eggman Nega part, they should called him "Eggman Negative" from the beginning of Rush. That's how we say it properly. So anyway, these wisps Purple and Violet have serious side effect that contains higly dangerous powers, watch this video of a blue hedgehog replica that I created as a test dummy. [a video shows Sonic gets possessed by a Purple Wisp]

Mamimi : Wait, what's it doing? What did that Purple Wisp just turned that replica of yours into...?

Announcer : FRENZY!

Scientist [heard from video] : Oh God! It's attacking us! [sounds of the Purple Frenzy attacking the scientists]

Mamimi : Okay, that was kinda creepy. Where can we find a planet that has the power of a wisps and their Hyper-Go-On Energy?

Drawcia : [Thinking] Hmmm...Let's just say that SEGA has their minds of where do that have a planet that has wisps and Hyper-Go-On Energy. Maybe it's time that we pay a visit to their planet.

Alchemy: Magic Vs. Science

Primary Characters: Edward Elric, Severus Snape Additional Tags: Crossover, Teacher!Edward, BrOtp Edward/Severus. Sassy beyond measure. Series: Part 1 of 9. Summary: Magic and Science, are they the same or are they completely different? It just takes one person to point out all up and downs. Edward stared out the window with a wide grin, he hadn’t been able to stop grinning for the past couple of hours. How could he? He finally managed to tell the Winry his feelings along with asking her to marry him. What a way to start a journey. Now he just had to get her a ring…perhaps he’d find one in his travels towards the west.

Seeing the sun beginning to set and his first stop still hours away, Edward looked away from the window to catch up on some rest. After this train ride, he would constantly be on the move, learning everything he could about Alchemy outside of Amestris.

Oh, how wrong Edward was about the whole entire journey if you could even call it that.

Edward sat outside of a café with a newspaper in his hand. He glared at it, searching for anything to lead him to what he was looking for. Nothing. From the start of his journey, Edward had found little to nothing about Alchemy in the time he had traveled. It was as if Alchemy didn’t exist outside other than from Amestris to Xing.

It didn’t help that Edward hardly spoke their native tongue. Little to no people spoke Amestrian, and the only language that was similar to it was German. Somehow, due to miscommunication, Edward had ended up in London. After this Edward decided to use only written and at times non-verbal forms of communication, coming to this conclusion after deciding that verbal communication had only brought stress onto him and the person he attempts to communicate with.

So far in Edward’s journey, he found nothing. He hadn’t even found anything that had piqued his interest. It was as if Alchemy didn’t exist outside of Amestris at all. Many would look at him as if he were crazy, a look of disdain or, what made Edward raised an eyebrow at, panic. Before he could even question the said person, they would quickly run away.

Taking a long gulp of his beverage, Edward slammed the cup back on the table and placed a couple of bills alongside it before he stood up. Picking up the suitcase that he had placed next to him and tucking the newspaper underneath his arm, Edward headed out. There had to be something about Alchemy in this country. If only just something to quench his thirst for knowledge.

Fortunately for Edward, earlier he had managed to get a lead about a bookstore. A small lead, but a lead never the less.

Pulling his coat tighter around himself, Edward cursed the terrible weather. He sped up his pace, wanting to get out of the weather, as well as get the information he was after quicker. Taking note of the street signs, Edward furrowed his brows as he continuously ended up in empty alleyways and seemingly dead ends. Having ended up in front of a brick wall for what seemed like the hundredth time, it was safe to say the former Alchemist was at his wit’s end. “Next time, Al is going west while I head east.”

Edward turned around and started retracing his steps. 'Nothing…NOTHING! Dead end after dead end. Just like looking for…’

Several loud crashes caught Edward’s attention along with loud cursing and apologies. Edward brushed against the wall and slowly approached the end of the alleyway, peaking out he saw a confusing sight. There were three people; all dressed in weird clothing. One of them appeared to be a man with greasy black hair, dressed in a black robe, snarling at the other two who looked around Edward’s age. Scattered around the alleyway were books, thick and ancient-looking.

One of the books had landed just close enough for Edward to read the title: 'Introduction to Alchemy: Beginners Edition’

Without even thinking about it, Edward stepped away from his hiding spot to reach down and pick up the book. He scanned the pages, and the more he read the more Edward scowled and started to grit his teeth at the sheer blasphemy he was reading. Everything about it was wrong. Just wrong to the point it made Edward’s blood boil.

A lost form of Magic…

“Magic?” Edward stared blankly at the word. 'What does magic has to do with Alchemy?’

“That book is mine…”

Edward looked over to see the man in total black staring at him with his hand extended out towards him. The other two strange-looking people were nowhere to be seen, the other books had almost magically been stacked neatly on top of a wooden box. From where he was, Edward could see that all the books had similar information.

Edward tilted his head to the side as the man stared at him pointedly. “Alchimie?”

The blacked haired man brows furrowed trying to comprehend what was being said to him. “What?”

“Alchimie.”

The older man’s brows furrowed yet again as what was being said to him was repeated. After mentally repeating the word, a realization hit him. “Alchemy?”

Edward nodded, he grinned when he realized he had been understood. He snapped the book closed and pointed at it.

“Dis book…” Edward’s nose scrunched up as he attempted to come up with the proper words. “Not kood alchimie.”

The man stared at him as he took in the golden blonde’s words. Thinking as he processed the words. “How would you know this?”

Edward pointed at himself. “Alchimist.”

By far this was the most horrendous summer ever for Severus Snape. At the beginning of the summer Dumbledore announced that there was a petition for an Alchemy class for next year, and the teacher that normally taught the class was… well, from what Snape had heard down the grapevine, the former professor had gone on a vacation to a little unknown country and consequently disappeared without a single trace. Public story was that he decided to permanently stay in his home country for early retirement.

Now his actions had left the Hogwarts staff scrambling around for a new professor to teach an Alchemy class. As the rules state, if there are enough students interested in a class then they have to ensure the class is ready for the upcoming year. Right now, Snape was in charge of looking over all the textbooks that former professor previously used to ensure that they were all up to date and still useable.

Much to his distaste, Snape knew so little on the subject that he had decided to learn the basics to ensure they did not hire just anyone. After leaving the secluded bookstore that served to both the magical and non-magical community with a couple of books on the subject clasped in his hand. The moment he left the store, two former dunderhead students of Snape slammed into him. Which resulted in all the books scattered all over the ground and two very frightened teens.

After telling them off, Snape quickly picked up the books. His brows furrowed as he counted the books and saw that one of them was missing. That was when Snape saw an unfamiliar young man reading the book. Snape stared at him surprised, the young man’s total appearance made him pause momentarily. There was something about him, the air around him… seemed different.

Shaking off his surprise, Snape walked up to the young man and extended his hand out to him. “That book is mine…”

The Blonde’s head snapped up and stared at him, making Snape wonder just who he was. He knew no one with that shade of hair or eye color in the wizarding or in the muggle world. Remaining passive, Snape continued signaling for the return of his book. For all he knew, the male could be a muggle.

“Alchimie?” The young man asked, tilting his head to the side.

Snape stared blankly at him, not comprehending what was just said to him at all. “What?”

The blacked haired man’s brows furrowed trying to comprehend what was said to him. “What?”

“Alchimie.” That word was repeated again but this time clearer for Snape to understand.

Snape brows furrowed, he repeated the word under his breath and then again inside his head. 'Alchimie…’ “Alchemy?”

The blonde nodded, he grinned and then snapped the book closed pointing at it.

“Dis book…” The stranger’s nose scrunched up with his confusion. “Not good alchimie.”

Once more, Snape stared at him as he attempted to understand what had just been said to him. If only he could use his wand, whoever this stranger as he was making him tense. He was clearly not from the area, or country for that matter but still clearly understood what the book was about. What really got him though was that the male obviously knew what he was talking about. The book the blonde was holding was the one Snape had only bought as a joke, yet it appeared the young man knew what he was reading. “How would you know this?”

“Alchimist.”

An hour and several headaches later after a small form of communication accomplished, Edward Elric and Severus Snape sat around a wooden table inside the bookstore. The same bookstore that Snape had just previously visited and the same one Edward was looking for. Books surrounded them along with stacks of blank paper as well as detailed notes and piles of pens that Edward pulled out of his suitcase.

“All vrong.” Edward pointed at a certain section of the book he was reading. He took a piece of paper and wrote down in English the correction of what he had just read along with what made the section wrong. “Dis hov should pe.”

Snape reached over and took the paper to read what Edward had written. For someone who could barely speak the language, Edward sure could write English. His eyes went wide as he took in what he had read and then reread Edward’s notes while comparing them to the text, said text that was highly sought out for those who decided to pursue the lost art of alchemy. Here was an unknown man with a vast knowledge of alchemy that could put any known alchemy master to shame.

The cogs in Snape’s mind began to spin, there were so many opportunities… Which reminded him…

“Why are you here in London?” Snape asked Edward.

Edward took a piece of paper and a pen to write down his response. “Research. My main goal is to go west and study alchemy while my younger brother went east. So far…I got nothing.”

“Where are you from?”

“Amestris.”

Snape paused momentarily. Amestris… why did that sound so familiar to him.

“Do you have mastery in Alchemy?”

Edward grinned but it seemed strained. “You could say that, but there is always room for improvement. That is why I am here.”

Albus Dumbledore sat in his office, staring out of his window, deep in thought. Today would be the Boy Who Lived’s ninth birthday. If everything had gone to plan then Harry should be with his muggle relatives treating him… Not what was to be considered humane in any terms.

With a chuckle, Albus turned around to face away from the window. He glanced across his desk, neatly piled in front of him was the petition for the elective class of Alchemy. There were quite a few of them. There was no way of sweeping this under the rug. If it was an alchemy class they wanted, then it was an alchemy class they would get. The only problem being the man that had previously taught the class was indisposed, permanently, if his Intel was is true. Now all Dumbledore had to do was hire a new Alchemy professor that would fit into the scheme of things.

The flames from the fireplace turned emerald green as Snape walked through it. “I may or may not have found our next Alchemy professor.”

This caught Dumbledore’s attention. He hadn’t actually believed that anyone, especially Snape of all people, to find someone. As far as he knew, the only true alchemist within the Wizarding World was Nicolas Flamel. The previous professor that had taught alchemy had never actually fit his standards.

“Who is it?” Dumbledore asked, raising a hand to signal to Snape to continue.

Snape stood by Dumbledore’s desk, avoiding any type of eye contact with the old wizard. “His name is Edward Elric…”

Dumbledore brows furrowed, why did that name seem familiar to him? “Where is he from?”

Snape hesitated, this was the sketchy part. “He hails from Amestris…”

“Severus…is he a muggle?” Dumbledore asked, the cogs in his mind starting to turn.

“That’s the thing…I don’t know.” Snape explained. “From what he told me he’s here in Britain to further his research in Alchemy.”

“Do you believe he is capable of teaching the subject?” Dumbledore folded his arms over his desk as he thought.

Snape snorted at that. “More capable than anyone else we’ll find. The only problem is that as far as I know…He has no clue about the Wizarding World or magic in general.”

Edward sat outside of the same café he had visited the other day, ordering the same cup of hot coffee, water not milk, and a bagel. A newspaper in hand, his suitcase beside him and a giant stack of books on the table with a single book open on a page that seemed to be about the properties of flowers and herbs. A routine that he had followed since finding that bookstore a few days ago with the help of Severus. Fortunately for both of them, Edward began to speak English better despite his thick accent.

“Elric.”

Edward looked up with an eyebrow raised while sipping his coffee. There stood Snape along with an older man that looked even kookier than the kids Severus had yelled at the day before. “Zefferus…”

Edward rolled his eyes back towards the weird looking man. There was something about him that made Edward raise his defenses. It felt just like when the homunculi were around, the grandfatherly smile wasn’t helping either. Following his gut feeling, as it had saved him more times than he could count, Edward remained cautious of the old man. He was in a different country, no way to defend himself and no one from home knowing exactly where he was.

“Elric, this is the headmaster of the school I currently teach at.” Snape said gesturing at Dumbledore.

“Hello, Mr…” Dumbledore started to say, stopping midway as he fully saw Edward. He looked just like the previous alchemy professor. His facial features, hair and eye color along with the accent and nationality. “My apologies, but you wouldn’t happen to have any relation to a Van Hohenheim.”

Edward stared at Dumbledore with an annoyed look, Dumbledore swore as he looked into his golden eyes that something was blocking him out. The further Dumbledore attempted to get into Edward’s mind, the more annoyed Edward became.

Snape cleared his throat, effectively breaking up the stare-off between the other two. “We came here with an offer…To help further your research.”

Now that caught Edward’s attention, who then turned his focus back to Snape. “Really nov? Vy didn’t you zay dat in the first blace? Vat it is?”

“A teaching position.” Dumbledore answered him.

Much to the confusion of both wizards, Edward began to laugh. He slammed his left hand onto the table while the other clutched to his stomach in an attempt to hold himself back. It was too much for Edward. A teacher? HAH! “Dat’s fery funny, really. Vat is it?”

Alright it's been like. A while in the making but here's a better post about an idea for

A Miraculous Fullmetal Alchemist Au

Now I've watched both versions, read the manga, all and everything cause I love this series more than almost anything, and some things don't transfer well cause. That's how things work sometimes. But I'll do my best to explain things going on. If at any time anything isn't clear or it's confusing shoot me an ask and I'll try to clear it up

So our main focus is on the Couffaine family. Anarka raising her two kids as a single mom in the countryside, just having a lovely life. She's just chilling until oh no one day she does rip-

And Luka and Juleka are pretty young, probably like 10 and 9. They're both just beginning to understand Alchemy and I'll explain that in a second, but without their Ma all that they have left is her shitty ex husband and they don't wanna go with him

So alchemy is. How to explain it. Turning stuff into other stuff. With like science magic. And circles. But like the exchange has to be equivalent. That part is important

So since our two young budding alchemists really want their mom back, and are young and stupid, they decide to break one of the cardinal rules of Alchemy by trying to use alchemy to bring Anarka back to life

But Oh No it goes horribly wrong, because truly, what is the equivalent of a human life? Not only is it not Anarka or even human that they created, but Luka's entire body was taken, as was Juleka's arm and leg

Little Juleka managed to tie her brother's soul to a nearby suit of armour to save part of him, sobbing that she didn't want to be alone

Someone reported the strange noises from their home and one of the military officers that was in town for a little goes over to check on it and finds one sobbing, bleeding child in a shed, with a sentient, panicking suit of armour with the voice of a little boy

That man was Alim Kubdel. He rushes Juleka to medical attention and ends up taking them in. His wife was an Alchemist, as is his oldest son, so he knows what he's getting into. Kinda

His daughter Alix is Juleka's age, and is an assistant at an "automail" shop. Automail is like, mechanic prosthetics. So Juleka gets cool metal limbs and Alix helps keep them in good shape

Jalil joins the military as a "state alchemist", who are alchemists on military payroll that basically do what the military want in exchange for the classic money and lodgings and shit. They're often called dogs of the military

As the siblings grow up they leave for a spell to learn from an alchemy teacher who knew their ma. This is Caline. She and Anarka were gonna get married when they were younger and Caline wanted to be able to have a kid with her and, well, tried to alchemy it up. Didn't work. Relationship failed out of the stress from it all

Years pass, and Juleka applies for the State Alchemist exams and passes woo! Now with her military money and access to all their libraries, her and Luka are on the quest to get their real bodies back

They meet lots of friends along the way and Alix is never far behind with her own little arc of hating the military, and they learn almost too much about their country and whoops now they're part of a plot to save everyone

It is a beautiful day in the country of Amestris, 1914, and you are Fuher King Bradley.

Your Very Robust Military (see also: Imperalism) boasts a selective State Alchemist program which funds scientists' pursuits to their hearts' content, so long as the military is able to call upon them to serve.

Now, alchemy is kind of like science meets magic and face-fucked it with a cool aesthetic. Basically, Anything Can Happen, the laws of physics, chemistry, and nature are yours to bend as you please. Draw a little Science Circle and follow the Law of Equivalent Exchange (something cannot be obtained unless something of equal value is given; basically, you can't have an unbalanced equation) and BAM! SCIENCE!

This is Colonel Roy Mustang, who has this Science Circle on his hand (it's called a "transmutation array" but science circle just sounds better) and uses it + a spark from this lighter to make FIRE!!!

In order to become a STATE ALCHEMIST (a science baddie funded by the hyper militarized state government) one must demonstrate ones' novel skills and demonstrate qualifiations. So here YOU are, Fuher King Bradley, highest office in the land, watching the State Alchemist Exams.

And in walks A GODDAMN TWELVE YEAR OLD CHILD.

Some things to Note:

1. This child did not use a transmutation array. This is, for all intents and purposes, basically impossible.

2. This is a child.

3. This child just lunged at the KING with a WEAPON and said, "Damn, you really have some holes in your security, dude."

You know how that kid said, "Yeah, I lost my arm in the war with the East?" Little bastard was lyyiiiiing!!! Remember that law of equivalent exchange thing? Where you can't obtain anything unless something of equal value is given? WELL. OUR BABY CHAOS BOY HERE AND HIS YOUNGER BROTHER ARE PRODIGIES. AND THEY TRIED TO USE ALCHEMY TO BRING THEIR MOTHER BACK FROM THE DEAD!

Spoiler alert: that did not work.

Additional note: this is considered "human transmutation", which is so fucking taboo it's basically just straight sinning.

Little brother, Alphonse, lost his entire body. Big brother, Edward, our baby chaos "lemme attack the fuher real quick" boy, lost his leg. And then, realizing that his little baby brother was GONE, sacrificed his ARM to bind his brother's soul to a suit of armor, pictured below.

Edward here wants to be a state alchemist (which is no challenge, really, because he and his brother both are fucking PRODIGIES, the real challenge is learning how to walk again hahaha oopsie, -1 leg, -1 arm and also keeping the Science Crimes Against God and Man that they did a secret) because he wants that SWEET SWEET MILITARY MONEY to find a way to get his brother's body back (and also his limbs, I guess, but Al is his priority for... obvious reasons).

Anyways.

My AU with the Clone Wars takes place AFTER the events of the Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood series (NOT FMA 2003, we don't talk about her) once Alphonse here has his flesh-and-blood body back.

My premise is, basically, post-series the brothers are like "lets go to space for Science Reasons" and then they do that.

I am making the Force and alchemy kind of the same thing in a hand-wavey way. Like, here's a terrible analogy for you:

A monk (Jedi) observes and understands that Gravity (ie., the Force in this shitty analogy) is a thing that acts in a certain way. They attribute gravity to their god/spirituality/Universe. "This is how it is because the Universe wills it" or whatever. The Alchemist observes Gravity, uses math and physics to quantify and understand it, and experiments with it until they can break it and put it back together again Better.

There's a lot of context stuff that you're missing with this general overview, like, precisely the sort of things that the Elric brothers know from their own experiences in-series as well as context for why they might see a massive cloning operation intended to produce an army and had a Trauma Response, among other things. But this is my quick-and-dirty guide to FMAB.

And really, I cannot recommend ENOUGH that anyone who hasn't seen this series immediately go watch it right now. Yes, imo it is better than One Piece. In my humble opinion, this is The Single Best Anime out there. Nothing compares for me. Like, really, it's just on an entirely different level. The pacing is perfect, the story is beautifully crafted, the characters will break your heart a thousand and one ways, and the soundtrack is the best out there. It has perfect moments of levity and then soul crushing moments of horror and tragedy. It's about scientific ethics; it's about Imperalism; it's about human nature; it's about God and Truth; it's about loss; it's about love; it's about brotherhood.

It's the best fucking thing you'll ever watch.

Y’know what I find absolutely fascinating about fanfiction? The trope trends that pertain to individual fandoms in each fanfic community.

I marvel at this every time I poke my head into a fanfiction archive somewhere, after finishing a series or a movie when I’m not quite ready to let it go but I’m not quite willing to dive in and participate. There’s always certain kinds of stories that are intensely popular in a self-contained fandom that are enormously rare in others.

There are, of course, some tropes that exist in virtually every fandom. You will never not find a Harry Potter AU or a coffee shop fic if a fandom has existed for longer than a couple months. The bigger the fandom, the more of them you’ll see. This is an Absolute Given. But others are less universal.

Some are self-contained types of AU’s that simply can’t work in another fandom, due to the nature of the original content’s story...but despite dozens of other potential tropes, one is just seized by the fandom as a fan favorite (literally). Take, for example, the plethora of chimera!fic in Fullmetal Alchemist (or at least, back for the 2003 anime there was a plethora of it. Maybe it’s changed since then, it’s been a while since I was in the fandom). It’s not really a concept that works in other fandoms, because the idea of chimeras is so strongly rooted in the source material’s lore, ‘magic’/science system, and concepts. But despite there also being dozens of other things you could run with in this universe too, this was a fandom-trope that was super popular.

But there are other things that I continue to be surprised at to this day. I watched a movie the other day and decided to poke my head into the fandom community and just scroll through AO3 without any filters. Every single page had at least one vampire AU, but that’s not something I see a lot in other fandoms. Why vampire AU’s? I don’t know, but something about it appeals for that fandom, clearly!

Sick!fics are super popular in several of the fandoms I’ve hung around in, but in others they’re all but impossible to find. In some fandoms whump or hurt/comfort is overwhelmingly the majority, and in others the bulk of what you can find is fluff so sticky sweet you’ll get a toothache. I’ve seen dozens of niche, oddballs sorts of premises or AU settings when browsing fanfic archives that seem to exist in only one fandom, but in that fandom they have an incredible amount of power.

It’s just fascinating to me, to see how trends fall based on what is presented in the source material, and the kinds of people that are drawn to that material. Things that are enormously popular to the point of being almost commonplace in one fandom might be a breath of fresh air in another. And clearly, no idea is every really ‘old’ or ‘done to death’ or ‘unoriginal.’ It’s all about the context of where you’re writing it, and about perspective.

And I think that’s kind of cool.

Lieutenant Hawkeye was an exception, of course. At the sound of a cup gently clanking against the desk, Zelda looked up from her page of tidy handwritten notes. She smiled, all soft edges and relaxed gaze as she looked to her companion.

“Thank you, Lieutenant.” She took a ginger sip of the hot drink before sighing against the rim. “There’s nothing quite like a cup of tea on a rainy day, is there?”

Below the reading line is a list of prompts from 2019 that are still available. There is no time limit and you can switch out characters if you prefer (they must be consenting adults or aged up). As always if you pick one, please let me know and I will cross it out.

1. My Hero Academia. Future AU. (Shoto/Momo): Pro heros Momo and Shoto have broke the top 10 Hero rankings for the first time and are celebrating with their former classmates with a party at their home. After everybody leaves and they are finally alone, Momo and Shoto can finally celebrate in their own way.

2. Fairy Tail City Hero (NaLu): Natsu and Lucy are stranded on the side of the road outside of town when their Patrol Car breaks down. Natsu quickly gets bored and entices Lucy into some sexy time until help arrives. Either inside or outside of the patrol car. (Optional: They accidentally give a show to the dash cam)

3. Fairy Tail (NaLu) Canon or AU: Natsu and Lucy have been together for a couple of months now and can’t keep their hands off each other it gets so bad that Lucy’s friends need to drag her away for some girl time at a spa/onsen. NaLu secretly keep in touch via text and facetime through out Lucy’s trip but things escalate when a drunken and flirty Lucy starts sending Natsu risque pics and texts throughout her time there. Their escapades end with a video chat session that turns steamy.

4. Fairy Tail (NaLu) Modern AU: Lucy goes to Mardi Gras in New Orleans with her lady friends as a way to let loose from work and College. The girls enjoy all the festivities Mardi Gras has to offer and Cana even leads them through a wild time on Bourbon Street. During the days of partying, Lucy befriends a local named Natsu who shows them the best places to go during their visit. Natsu and Lucy flirt the whole time and get a chance to hang out alone together for a day before Lucy has to go. Things escalate and they both show each other a wild time. (DISCLAIMER: I have never been to Mardi Gras or New Orleans)

5. Fullmetal Alchemist (EdWin): Ed and Winry (married/together) rent a car during a trip to central but when it breaks down and Winry goes into full mechanic mode trying to fix it, Ed decides that he has never been more turned on.

6. Fairy Tail (Mira/Lucy/Natsu): Mira is a little depressed after the end of a long term relationship. Not liking seeing their friend so down and wanting to repay her for all she has done for them and the guild, Natsu and Lucy invite her to their place for some no-strings-attached fun to help her get her mind of things. Mira, graciously accepts. (Or any extra female of your choosing. It doesn’t have to be Mira)

7. Fullmetal Alchemist (Roy/Riza) Riza helps Roy with their firearm re-certification. When he fails to take the tests seriously, Riza offers “incentives” for doing well with the test. Also works with Rebecca/Havoc.

They contact Gruvia through lacrima to check their home for any damages, but remembering what Nalu did in his favorite chair, Gray decides to get revenge. He entices Juvia into helping to leave their scent all over the house, from the living room to the bedroom.... When Natsu gets home a few days later, he knows what happened before he even opened the door and races off to find Gray.

10. Fairy Tail NaLu (or any couple really) AU: Lucy and Natsu are athletes in the Olympics. They are from different countries but they meet early on and become friendly. During a rare grace period where neither of them have event to be at, the two get drinks at a bar in the. They quickly discover that the rumors about down time in the Olympic Village are true, sex between athletes is abundant and constant. Be it out in the open or in the privacy of their rooms. The two decide that since they may go their separate ways after the games, they might as well join in the fun. TL;DR AU Athlete Natsu and Lucy has some adventurous sex in the Olympic Village.

11. Fairy Tail NaLu: Lucy is having renovations done to her apartment, so Erza graciously lets her stay in her room(s) at Fairy Hills while she is away on a mission. Her boyfriend Natsu comes to visit her in her new accommodations and to complain that she chose to stay there instead of his place (she didn’t want to deal with the mess and Fairy Hills is closer to FT). Lucy seductively promises to “make it up to him”. Natsu is hesitant to do anything in Erza’s room but then Lucy makes the mistake of teasingly asking if he is scared. Which leads her being dragged to Erza’s bed. Are they caught by Erza or do they get away with it? TL;DR: NaLu risk having sex in Erza’s bedroom.

12. Fullmetal Alchemist EdWin: Ed and Winry visit Xing for their wedding anniversary. Ling sets them up in a fancy room at his palace with its own private hotspring. After some drinks with the Emperor, the couple heads back to their room and a frisky Winry decides they need to test out the hotspring and have some extra fun in it. TL;DR EdWin fuck in a private hotspring.

13. SFW. Fairy Tail NaLu. Modern. AU: Natsu is a pyrotechnician and he thinks showing Lucy how he sets up a fireworks display for 4th of July makes for a good (first?) date.

14. SFW. My Hero Academia: After hearing All-Might mention it, Eri becomes fascinated by the concept. Especially the fireworks, having never seen any before. Class 1A decides to give her a fireworks display of their own and go overboard.

15 SFW. Fullmetal Alchemist. EdWin: Ed tries to show his kids the science behind Sparklers and they seem more interested in trying to set him on fire.

16. SFW. MCU canon divergent, Steve/Natasha: Steve and Nat have been together for a year now. After having a big birthday party for Steve, thrown by Tony at Avengers HQ, Nat/Steve sneak off to the roof to enjoy Tony’s elaborate firework show. NSFW optional: they get side tracked from the fire works and decide to make there own right there on the roof.

17. NSFW. Fairy Tail. College AU. NaLu: Lucy is dragged to a college 4th of July party by her friends. She tries to make her escape from said party until Natsu shows up. She has several classes with him and the sexual tension between them is palpable. He makes the party fun for her and when the party starts to wind down the two sneak off into a spare bedroom for some fun.

18. Fairy Tail Nalu and Nack/Lucia (A couple of years after 100 year quest): Fairy Nail has come to Fiore, doing an international tour of their show. Natsu, Lucy and other guild members are hired as security during the tour. NaLu are assigned to Nack and Lucia specifically and after only a week guarding them, they are becoming very annoyed by the lewd behavior the other two display. Having to pry them off each other often. While staying at a hotel, Nack and Lucia’s antics keep NaLu up all night, them having their room right next door and all. So NaLu decide to give Nack and Lucia a taste of their own medicine and try to keep the other two awake all night with their own antics. It turns into the couples trying to outdo each other through the night The same prompt as above EXCEPT, instead of separate rooms the couples are in separate beds. In the same room. TL;DR: NaLu and Nack/Lucia try to out fuck each other

19. Fullmetal Alchemist EdWin: Ed takes Winry shopping in Central for her birthday. He bemoans being dragged to clothing stores until she has him come into the dressing rooms with her. Ed enjoys watching try on clothes for awhile but soon can no longer contain himself and they go at it in the dressing room and have some fun with its mirror. (optional: Ed seeing her in skinny jeans and a tight top is what triggers it. Said jeans end up at her knees) TL;DR: Ed and Winry have sex in a changing room

20. Fairy Tail NaLu: Brandish is in town on a mission. Natsu and Lucy run into her and offer her to join them for drinks. She reluctantly agrees to join them. A few drinks later and Brandish has had a drunken mood shift. She switches between being overly friendly and apologetic about her past actions towards the two. Before returning home for the night Brandish drunkenly offers them a “gift” for being nice to her and to make up for what happened during the war. Not knowing what what she means, the confused couple accepts. So Brandish uses her magic to increase the size of Lucy’s breasts and Natsu’s dick (nothing to major. Like a cup size/inch or two). Brandish tells them they will be normal by morning and to have fun with it before leaving the flustered couple. NaLu aren’t sure how to handle it at first but decide to make the best of it. So when they get home, the two have some fun with their temporary new proportions. TL;DR Brandish makes the dick and breasts size of NaLu slightly bigger and they have fun with it.

21. Fairy Tail (NaLu Tattoo Artist AU): Lucy has a few tattoos and is looking into getting a back tattoo. She is told that local artist Natsu Dragneel, from the new tattoo place is the best and most affordable option in getting one. She goes to him to go over the design she has in mind and the two hit it off immediately. For about a month Lucy goes to Natsu for various tattoos (fairy tail symbol on hand, Aquarus one on breasts, ect.) and to flirt with him. When the back tattoo is done she is worried that their sessions have come to an end. But when Natsu suggests she come back after it heals so he can take a picture for his wall, Lucy decides to use the opportunity to seduce him and they go at it right there in the parlor. TL;DR: Tattoo enthusiast Lucy flirts with her Tattoo Artist Natsu until they can’t take it anymore and fuck each other.

22. Fullmetal Alchemist (EdWin): When Ed losses a bet with Winry, he must where a military uniform on their date night. Ed hates it of course but seeing him in Uniform is having an unexpected reaction from Winry to the point where she starts messing with him under the table and eventually drags him to the bathroom for a quickie. TL;DR: Ed has to wear a military uniform and it unexpectedly turns Winry on to the point that she jumps him at a restaurant.

23. Fullmetal Alchemist (Royai): Roy and Riza are visiting Xing and are given their own private train car on the way to the palace to see Ling. The car is like a fancy hotel room but when Roy starts getting bored of the sights, he turns his attention to Riza and convinces her to try some train ride fun. (Could also be EdWin) TL;DR: Roy and Riza take advantage of alone time in their VIP train car.

24. My Hero Academia Future AU (TodoMomo): Todoroki and Momo have finally returned home from a long mission/investigation. When Momo mentions her back hurts from the long hours of being awake, Todoroki offers to give her one of his “famous” massages. Momo eagerly accepts and Todo has her strip down so he can work his magic. He uses the heat and cold from his quirk to work wonders on her sore muscles. Once done she sees her moaning and excitement from the massage has gotten Todoroki worked up as well. So she makes use of the massage oil and gives him a rub down of his own. TL;DR an innocent massage leads to sexy fun with between Todoroki and Momo.

25. Fairy Tail NaLu+Female: Lucy wants to surprise Natsu with a threesome for his birthday! It is something they have considered for awhile and one of the potential female partners they have discussed it with says they are ready, so her and Lucy plan to give Natsu a night he won’t forget. (Suggestion: Natsu is blind-folded at the start). The extra female from the FT series is the writer's choice. TL;DR: NaLu have an MFF threesome for Natsu’s birthday.

Fairy Tail (NaLu+Male): It is now Lucy’s birthday thanks to an arrangement between her and Natsu, since he got a threesome with an extra female for his birthday, Lucy can now pick and extra male for hers. So, looking for a one night stand type deal, they go bar hopping, searching for someone that is compatible and easy going. When they find who they are looking for, they head back to their place for some fun. This could be a sequel to number 1 on this list or it can stand on its own. (Suggestion: Lucy starts with the Male first then Natsu joins) The extra male from the FT series is the writer’s choice. TL;DR:NaLu have a MMF threesome for Lucy’s birthday.

27. Fullmetal Alchemist EdWin: EdWin visit Rush Valley for Winry’s birthday. She doesn't know that her colleagues and customers are throwing a surprise party for her at Garfiel’s shop and Ed has been tasked with keeping her occupied until then. When she starts to get suspicious of Ed’s motives he tells her that his leg needs another oil rub down and Winry is happy to help with the new wax she just got. But once Ed’s pants comes off she is distracted by something else entirely and Ed seduces her. They are going to be late to the party... TL;DR: Ed must distract Winry while her surprise party is set up and they both end up side-tracked by sex.

28. Fullmetal Alchemist (EdWin+Rose): EdWin have a small gathering of friends at their home to celebrate Ed’s birthday. Afterward, when everybody leaves, it is just EdWin and Rose, who is staying with them until she leaves in a few days. They have a few drinks together and a tispy Rose mentions that she has been kinda lonely lately and admits having a thing for both Ed and Winry at one point. Winry surprisingly take this comment in stride and suggests Rose join her and Ed for the night. This would allow Rose to resolve her feelings for Ed and EdWin gets to try a threesome that they have discussed attempting for awhile. TL;DR: EdWin asks Rose to join them in a threesome to settle her unresolved feelings.

29. Fullmetal Alchemist (Royai+ Rebecca) College AU: Rebecca, Roy, and Riza are in their final year of college. The 3 friends are celebrating Riza’s birthday at a restaurant. Roy and Riza have been flirting all night and Rebecca has been trying to push the two together. But then a drunken Rebecca accidently reveals that her and Riza once had a threesome with her ex, Jean, in their earlier years of college before they met Roy. But instead of being mad about the revelation, Roy asks for details of that night and Rebecca replies that they can just show him instead. Riza surprisingly is on board with this and thinks it would make a great birthday present. TL;DR: Rebecca tempts Roy and Riza into a threesome with her in her attempts to get the two of them together.

30. Fullmetal Alchemist Roy/Rebecca + Havoc) Modern AU: Havoc and Rebecca are in an open relationship and for his birthday, Havoc asks Rebecca if he can watch her have sex with his friend Roy, from work. She and Roy agree to this and give Havoc quite the show. (Havoc joining in is also optional.) TL;DR: Havoc watches as Roy and Rebecca go at it for his birthday.

31. Fairy Tail (Any ship): Character A attempts to make their spouse/partner a cake for their birthday but fails miserably. Character B is more than happy to lick specific cake ingredients (Whip cream, strawberry, whatever the writer wants) instead as compensation. TL;DR: One character licks off the cake/dessert off of another.

32. Fireplace (NSFW): A tender moment in front of the fireplace in their new home turns steamy.

33. Hot Cocoa: Natsu give shows Lucy how he makes his “famous” hot Cocoa.

34. Sledding: Natsu and Lucy race each other down a mountain and use magic to their advantage. (Wendy cast Troia on Natsu for his motion sickness before hand).

35. Perfect Christmas tree hunt: NaLu explore the woods around Natsu’s house looking to cut down their first Christmas tree.

36. Mistletoe: Lucy shows Natsu the benefits of hanging multiple mistletoe around the house.

37. Stocking Stuffer (SFW): Natsu doesn’t quite grasp the concept of stocking stuffers so he just puts random things from around the house into Lucy’s stocking.

38. Stocking Stuffer (NSFW): Lucy wear Christmas themed stockings with a lingerie set as part of Natsu’s Christmas gift this year.

45. Royai (FMA). White Elephant: Roy and his crew have a White Elephant gift exchange. Roy and Riza end up with a gift from the other.

46. TodoMomo (Boku My Hero Academia) Ornaments: It has become a yearly tradition that Momo and Shoto think of new ornaments for their tree. Momo will then create them.

47. GaJevy (Fairy Tail) First Christmas Together: It is Gajeel and Levy’s first Christmas together since she announced her pregnancy. The are excited/nervous of the fact that the next Christmas will be with a baby.

48. All Fairy Tail Ships. Guild Master’s game (NSFWish): The FT couples have a Christmas party together that devolves into a other Guild Master’s game. Though the dares become more intimate now that they are couples.

49. Havoc/Rebecca (Fullmetal Alchemist) Snowball Fight: A standard patrol turns into a snowball fight between a bored Rebecca and Havoc as they are temporarily stationed at Briggs together.

50. Royai (Fullmetal Alchemist) Decorating: Roy and Riza attempt to decorate the office for once with mixed reactions from the rest of the team.

51. EdWin (Fullmetal Alchemist) Jacket Sharing/snuggling: During a particularly chilly day at home, Winry puts on Ed’s old red jacket to keep warm. Ed insists body heat would keep her warmer so they both snuggle under said jacket.

52. Gruvia (Fairy Tail) Christmas cookies: Juvia’s attempt at making Christmas cookies end in failure but Gray shows her how Ur used to make them when he was young.

53. Jerza (Fairy Tail) Snowboarding/Skiing: A race down a mountain between Erza and Jellal gets out of hand when the two start using magic to try to win.

54. Invisibility: Lucy and Natsu have left over Invisibility potion from a mission. What starts as an attempt to prank Natsu turns into something else when Lucy decides pleasuring him when he can’t see her is way more fun.

55. Invisibility (2): NaLu are taking a bath together when Natsu introduces a new bath ointment that he was sold by a shady merchant. Lucy recognizes what it is but it is too late, once it is in the water it turns both of them invisible. Natsu uses his new invisibility to mess with some guild mates but when he gets bored with that, he and Lucy discover their are other benefits to not being seen. They can now do it anywhere in the guild they want. Will they get caught? Or they could just do it in the bath.

56. Transform: NaLu are at home practicing transformation magic for a mission. Once they get the hang of it they start having some fun with it. But once one (or both) of them find a transformation that the other finds to desirable for the other to ignore, the real fun can begin. (Bunny or Cat girl Lucy? Dragon Lord Natsu? Whatever the writer wants!)

57. Clones (2) When Lucy makes the mistake of asking Cana what to get Natsu for his birthday, Cana crudely reveals that she has a new multiply card that can multiply (x3) anyone she touches with it and she convinces Lucy it would be a great bedroom surprise for Natsu.

58. Pleasure: NaLu are exposed to a ��Pleasure” spell from a dark mage during a mission. They are forced to leave the dark mage in the care of their teammates as they scurry off to find a secluded area where they can work off the spell. (Pleasure spell like Laracade’s, that sends a person into a heightened pleasured state until they reach completion with someone.)

59. It’s finally time for Natsu to move out of his cabin and into a new home with Lucy. Before they pack everything up, NaLu remembers all the fun (and sexy) times they’ve had in the place.

60. NaLu gets a little to drunk during a FT party and when they get home, have unprotected sex that leads to a pregnant Lucy. They will love the kid regardless.

61. NaLu are put in charge of making Erza’s Strawberry Cake for her birthday. Things go wrong when playful banter turns into them getting heated in the Kitchen and them getting covered in what is left of Erza’s cake. Does Erza find out?...

62. When Lucy gets back into their room after her morning shower, she finds a nude Natsu snoozing in bed right where she left him except the blanket has been kicked down to his ankles. Lucy takes the time to admire the view and appreciates that he is all hers. So she decides to give him a special wake up call.

63. When Lucy begins to feel self conscious after having kids, Natsu reminds her she is perfect just the way she is and proves it by giving her a special rub down/massage.

64. When Lucy tells Natsu he can pick their next date location she knew she was asking for trouble and he confirms her fears by taking her to a nude beach. When she realizes he picked the location specifically to fluster her she decides two can play at that game and the two tease each other the entire time they are there. They of course get carried away and sneak somewhere hidden to go at it before they get caught. Afterward Lucy realizes that she really had fun there and is open to returning. Also works under the Secret prompt.

65. AU: Natsu works at the fancy Heartfilia Hotel. He enjoys working there but doesn't really get along with the boss Jude Heartfillia since he forbade Natsu to hang around his daughter Lucy. Little did he know that Natsu and Lucy are already dating and use their free time to “defile” various areas of his hotel.

66. Lucy is pregnant and is looking for the best way to tell/surprise Natsu with the news so she has been keeping it a secret until she figures it out. Or that was the idea until she just blurts it out during the afterglow of sex.

67. NaLu have been married for a few months and they experience their first time spent away from each other when Lucy goes on a “girls only” mission for a week. When Lucy gets back she finds that Natsu was not handling the separation well since his dragon instincts are not used to her absence. When she reunites with him they become inseparable and told to get a room before they go at it right in the guild hall.

68. Natsu and Lucy dated in High School but were forced to go their separate ways. Now, at their High School reunion years later, the two re-connect and fall for each other all over again. The two then sneak away from the party to further “catch up” (in a classroom, office, locker room, or wherever the writer wants). Suggestion: When they hook-up again, they admire how much better they are at it then when they were awkward teenagers.

69. FT City Hero: Officers Lucy and Natsu indulge in a fantasy of theirs by doing it in the interrogation room. That part of the building is closed for renovation so they think they are safe from prying eyes. They get so into it that they don’t think to check the other side of the one-way mirror in the room or they would have seen one of their co-workers enjoying a quiet lunch (or drink if its Cana) and accidentally getting a free show. (Optional: NaLu are pressed right up to the mirror at one point)

70. Do to some comments from guild mates about them being insatiable, NaLu make a bet about how long one can resist the other. The one that caves first loses. So for almost a week there is a back and forth between Natsu and Lucy of them trying to seduce each other and trying to resist (via sexy clothing, innuendos, ect.). Who gives into their cravings first?

71. SFW- Haru,Shiki,Elie, and Rebecca visit NaLu at Fairy Tail. The boys have a drinking contest that escalates into a bar fight. The girls attempt to break it up but just end up joining in.

72. SFW- The three couples rent a house together and decide how to distribute bills/chores via contests. (Video Games, billiards, darts, wrestling, ect.)

73. NSFW- The couples have a weekly game night and tonight they are playing poker (or whatever game the writer wants). Natsu, wants to up the stakes so a game of strip poker is started.

74. SFW-The guys and girls go out to a karaoke club and chaos ensues.

75. SFW or NSFW- The couples treat themselves to a trip to an Onsen/Spa. They enjoy various activities like couples massages, ping pong, enjoying a private mixed bath, and the dangers of a drunken Lucy.

76. NSFW- The guys and the girls go out clubbing to blow off steam. It soon becomes a game to seduce and tease their significant other from the other group This could include alluring outfits, dirty dancing, body shots, ect. Eventually, each couple sneaks off for some alone time.

77. SFW- Lucy invites Elie and Rebecca on a mission with her. Ellie and Rebecca are interested in Lucy’s keys so she lets them use a key/star dress of their choice for the mission. (Lucy uses a spell that lets them borrow her magic). Lucy could in turn give their weapons a shot.

78. SFW- Haru lets Natsu and Shiki try out his sword with varying results.

79. Girls night. SFW- Rebecca,Lucy, and Elie have a sleepover. Throughout the night they discuss their various adventures, crazy friends, and their boyfriends.

80. Girls night out NSFW- The girls are enjoying a bachelorette party. The topic of sex is brought up (possibly thanks to alcohol), and the 3 recount some of their wildest and sweetest sex stories with their current significant other.

81. Boys night out SFW- The boys are catching up at their favorite bar and go over new life developments (marriage, kids, ect) with their significant other.

82. SFW - What starts out as a simple volleyball game between the Guys and the Ladies, quickly goes over the top as both sides will do anything to win!

83. NSFW- The Guys and Girls have a simple volleyball game but are willing to use dirty tactics and distractions to win. Winning team gets to do whatever they want to their significant other on the losing team.

84. NSFW- The group are on a vacation at a resort. When they hear of a secret beach near the resort they go check it out. Only to learn when they get there that it is a (optionally) nude beach. The group decides to be adventurous and gives it a shot. One couple, decides to get a little too adventurous and end up getting them kicked out.

85. SFW- NaLu,Haru, and Elie take a trip on the Edens Zero. Shki and Rebecca give them a tour and introduce them to the crew. Elie and Lucy would be drawn to the bath/massage area. Haru could want to fly the ship, while Natsu deals with his zero gravity motion sickness

86. NSFW. Haru/Elie or NaLu are visiting the Shiki and Rebecca on the Edens Zero. They take the opportunity to cross “sex on a space ship” off the bucket list. They of course are constantly interrupted by the nosey EZ crew.

87. SFW- (Famous): Lucy is Ellie and or Rebecca’s favorite writer and they meet her for the first time and become fast friends.

88. SFW- (Proposal): One of the guys plans on proposing. The other two give their unsolicited advice on how to do in the most extravagant ways possible.

90. NSFW- (Noise Complaint) Modern AU: Couple A (writers choice) has moved into a new apartment. They really like their new home but there is one major problem, their neighbors, Couple B, are very vocal during their nightly activities. The bedrooms sharing the same wall only makes it worse. Any attempts to keep Couple B quiet have failed so Couple A decides to fight fire with fire and starts making some noise of their own. It quickly becomes a back a forth between the two couples trying to outdo each other.

91. NSFW- (Swingers) The three couples are good friends with families of their own. But secretly, once every few months, they get together and swap partners. They meet up at one of their houses or a hotel and they either pick names randomly or play a game to see who is paired up with who. The decided pairs would go off to seperate rooms for the night. Match ups are up to the writer but my suggestions are Natsu/Rebecca, Shiki/Elie, and Haru/Lucy. Each pair could compare/contrast their current partner with their regular one. Lucy is with someone less hyper than Natsu, Rebecca is similar to Lucy but with subtle differences, Elie likes to take charge, Haru is methodical, ect. How they act and what they wear could also be a factor. Lucy wears lingerie, Shiki and Rebecca cosplay, ect. Could end with each couple leaving after everyone is finished or group sex in the living room.

Lady Luck AU: Kwami Buster

So, this episode would have less identity shenanigans. Very little at all, tbh. I’ll decide later if this takes place before or after Oni-Chan, where they stop with identity shenanigans altogether, but even if it’s before then the whole team knows that Chloé is Lady Luck.

Also fuck that ‘if someone knows I have to give up the Miraculous’ rule. Literally. Fuck that all to hell.

It’s gonna be early on in the thing so that there’s still just the five main teammates. And all five Kwami fucking up.

Things go pretty much exactly the same up to the whole ‘going to get more Miraculous’ thing.

Chloé still uses the Mouse, though I need to think of a name for her.

She doesn’t use the Fox’s Illusion though. Partly because Trixx already got caught, partly because she doesn’t need to make an illusion and convince anyone she’s not Lady Luck.

Chloé sees Bananoir and is like ‘NO! ABSOLUTELY NOT! GO CHANGE RIGHT NOW!’. And makes him change into a different disguise. Too late. She’s already having nightmares.

The rest of the plan is pretty much the same. Multiply/shrink, get captured, Cataclysm her way out.

Again, as there’s no identity shenanigans with the team, no Illusions are needed.

Also, as cool as ‘using a fuckton of Miraculous at once’ is, I already established the ‘Magic Burnout’ possibility. So while Chloé is able to make it through the battle, by the end she’s hella worn out.

Post-episode, Chloé evaluates the risks of Ms. Mendelieve’s interest in the Kwami.

Obvs telling her is dangerous

However, she thinks it’s riskier to leave Ms. Mendelieve in the dark and let her go full Mr. Crocker on the situation.

So Chloé waits until class, asking Ms. Mendelieve to talk alone, pretending it’s something like ‘oh I have questions about the homework’ or whatever.

Once they’re alone in the classroom, she tells her what’s up. The Kwami are Magic beings connected to the Miraculous. And, you know, the whole Lady Luck thing.

She actully does this because she thinks Ms. Mendelieve could help them. After all, one of the reasons Chloé insisted that there be permanent heroes is to test out things and discover the secrets of the Mirauclous(something they can’t do if you keep them in a box for years).

Ms. Mendelieve is a scientist. She knows how to study, research, and experiment. And while some may argue ‘oh she’ll just get frustrated because it’s ‘Magic’ and you can’t apply ‘Science’ to it since it makes no sense!’, let me just chuck Fullmetal Alchemist at you because that balances the Magic/Science thing.

So Ms. Mendelieve does get to study the Kwami! Though it is with the Kwami’s consent and also no dissection or anything.

On the bright side, Chloé no longer has to deal with trying to find a valid excuse to run out of her class to fight an Akuma! (Because of course Ms. Mendelieve was the strict one that didn’t like when several students ran out for an attack that was across town.)

'Magic...Magic!' Edward ran a hand through his hair for what seemed like the hundredth time in the last hour alone. He sat on an empty bench in a seemingly empty park with far too much information swimming through his mind. It had only been three days since he last spoke to Severus and that crazy old man Albus. 'Magic, magic school, magical bars, barriers and...'

Edward let out a sigh, he once again ran his left hand through his hair, this time successfully letting it out from his hairband. His hair, now let loose, hung over his shoulders. He rummaged through his dark brown traveling coat, looking for a particular item. With tense shoulders, Edward pulled out a business card.

Said card has been giving Edward a headache, one moment it looked worn and overused while another it looked crispy and fresh as if it was printed just the day before. The only thing that Edward could make out was the words "Leaky Cauldron" along with an address. 'A school that solely focuses on teaching magic that is in need of an Alchemy Professor. If I do agree to this, then I will have access to their library...'

Shaking his head, Edward stood up while picking up his suitcase and heading off in a seemingly random direction. 'Magic and Alchemy...How do they coexist together?'

Many questions popped into Edward's mind that ran along the same line as his first question. How exactly had Magic and Alchemy coexisted together for this long without any consequences? All the teachings he learned throughout the years... it just didn't make any sense. Nothing made sense but at the same time...there was something in the back of his mind that made Edward rethink and think again about everything. Then his blood ran cold. Could it possibly be able to bring back the living from the dead?

That single thought made Edward's final decision for him. It wasn't that he wanted or needed to know, he simply felt that he had to ensure that it was not a possibility.

Snape sat in a corner of a modest-looking room with a glass of amber liquid in his hand. He leaned his head against his other hand as he sat there, deep in thought. It had been three days since he and Dumbledore had last spoken with Edward Elric and had given him a card. Said card was supposed to signal him and the old headmaster if the Alchemy expert would either take or deny the teaching position. If Elric were to deny the position then Snape would have to use a memory charm on him but he had a nagging feeling in the back of his mind that Dumbledore would do something sly to ensure Elric took the job to teach at the school.

There was a part of Snape that didn't want Elric to take up the offer and regretted coming to Dumbledore about Elric's vast knowledge of Alchemy. The last thing he needed was to help Dumbledore in the twisted game of survival in their world. On the other hand, if Elric were to agree then he wouldn't be stuck around with complete dunderheads. Even if Elric did have a temper and still had his childish moments, he was the only one Snape could have an actual intelligent conversation with.

Something clicked in the back of Snape's mind, a signal. "He is agreeing to the position it seems."

Edward stood in front of an abandoned-looking shop, staring at it with a perplexed expression. He had somehow found the address on the card and was now starting to regret his decision. Edward started to wonder if he should punch those idiots for making him look stupid.

“I knew zis vas ein pad idea ." Edward muttered under his breath, he turned away from the shop and faced the street. His eyes widened at who he saw walking towards him, it was Severus, fortunately alone. The last thing Edward needed was that old man being near him, he swore that old geezer gave off a similar vibe to the homunculus King Bradly. "Zefferus..."

"Elric..." Severus responded once he came within hearing distance, he took note of Edward's disheveled appearance. His hair was let loose from its ponytail, his traveling coat looked wrinkled despite the clothes he wore underneath being crisp and groomed. "So, are you agreeing to the teaching position?"

Edward raised his hand to signal Severus to stop talking, he then pulled out a small notebook from his coat. "Der are a couple of dings I need to clear up before I agree."

Severus nodded, he signaled for Edward to follow him towards the run-down shop. With a look of total disbelief, Edward followed him towards the shop, cursing the wizard he was currently following.

Shaking his head, Edward couldn't help but think about his adventures and compare them to what was occurring right now. At least he wasn't at knife or gunpoint...or should it be wand point now...

"Zefferus vat is dis place?" Edward asked as Severus placed a hand on the door to open it.

Severus held back a snarky remark, he couldn't blame the younger man for asking such question. For one, Elric isn't magically aware and two, he didn't want to antagonize him. From the short time they had known each other, the blonde had had a short temper and could clearly hold his own in an argument. "It's the main gate between the Muggle and Wizarding world."

"....Mug...gle..." Edward's eyes widened as he walked through the door to enter a bar filled with the most weirdly dressed people he had ever seen. "How is dis possible?"

"Magic." Severus responded he smirked when he caught Edward glaring at him. "Keep to yourself and do not speak to anyone or mention the fact you are not a wizard."

Edward rolled his eyes, already having an inkling towards what he should say and do...to an extent. "Fine. Are ve getting food? I'm hungry."

Severus rolled his eyes and headed towards the back of the area away from all the other patrons at the bar. In the corner of the room was a not so tall male drinking a colored liquid while holding a tiny umbrella. The tiny man waved towards their direction. "Severus, Albus sent me in his place as he had business to take care of. Is this the new alchemy professor?"

Severus nodded and motioned over towards Edward. "This is Edward Elric." He then motioned over towards his fellow professor. "This is Filius Flitwick, he is a charms master and teaches the subject at Hogwarts."

Edward's brows furrowed, he gave Severus a look that clearly showed confusion as he did not know what exactly charms were. Severus ignored him and signaled for Edward to sit, as he himself sat across from Filius, Edward hesitantly sat at the end of the table away from the wizards. "Hello."

Looking over at Severus, he deadpanned. "Food. You promised food."

Severus' lips twitched before he snorted, he motioned for the owner of the bar to bring them something over. "Would you like to speak now or after we eat?"

"Food."

Edward scoffed his food, not really caring about the magic that was happening around him. All he cared about was the food on his plate and trying to drown out the magic to prevent an upcoming headache. His companions were giving him mixed looks of curiosity and disgust. Again. He didn't really care, he had food on his mind.

Unbeknownst to Edward, the charms professor had already cast a charm over their booth to ensure no one could hear them.

Severus cleared his throat, grabbing Edward's attention, at least somewhat. Edward looked up, food stuck to his face. "Vat?"

With thin lips, Severus wordlessly held out a cloth napkin towards Edward who took it with a 'humph'. Edward wiped the food off of his face. "Dank you."

"How about we start to talk about the position you will be taking in the autumn." Filius asked with a smile.

Edward raised a hand to stop Filius from continuing talking. "I have fev questions dat need to be ansvered before I fully agree along vith changing a couple of dings."

Severus waved a hand for Edward to state what he needed to know and the change of terms.

Edward took out his small notebook from his coat, he skimmed through it until he found the page. "Full access of your library, any and effery resource dis school has."

"You have already been granted access to the restricted portions of the library if that's what you're asking?" Filius responded with a nod.

Edward shook his head, the more detail he attempted to explain with the more his Amestrian accent came through. "No, effery source available to help vith my research to comprehend magic."

Severus and Filius glanced at each other and began to mentally converse. Severus looked away from his fellow professor to give Edward a curt nod in agreement. "What else?"

"How old vould the students I vould be teaching be?"

"They would be at the oldest sixth and seventh years, with O or E in potions and transfiguration." Snape said he let out a sigh of annoyance when he took note of Edward's blank stare. "O stands for Outstanding, the highest grade a student can receive and E stands for Exceeds Expectations, the second highest grade."

"Vat is transfigurazion?" Edward asked, having a feeling he wasn't going to like the answer.

"It's a branch of transformation magic, changing the form and appearance of an object, human... or animal..." Filius trailed off when he took note of Edward's rapidly paling face that quickly snapped into anger. Edward tightly gripped his fork, if he had still had his automail arm then the fork would have been twisted and bent beyond recognition. "Is something the matter?"

Oh yes, that feeling was exactly right.

"...Don't mention dat vord around me for nov." Edward said with a strained voice, his jaw was clenched tightly and his eyes narrowed. He slowly closed his eyes and breathed through his nose in an attempt to regain some composure. "Hov old are zixth and zeffenth years?"

"Between the ages of sixteen to eighteen at most." Filius squeaked out when Edward's eyes snapped open. "Will that be a problem?"

"Too old." Edward responded shaking his head. Leaning back on his chair, Edward crossed his arms over his chest as he thought about it. "I started to learn about alchemy ven I vas about...fiffe or zix...and fully started my training ven I vas nine I dink."

Both teachers gave him a gobsmacked look at this. This was news for both of them.

"S-s-so young." Filius stuttered out. "And your parents allowed you to learn the lost art at such a young age?"

As Filius stated the question, Severus attempted to stop him by giving him a rather odd look, knowing first hand that asking those kinds of questions never ended well, then groaning once the question had finally been asked.

"My shitty father did not care and...alchemy made my mother smile..." Edward trailed off softly. He quickly shook his head, trying to push away the depressing thoughts from his mind. "Back to the main topic...If I start at dat age, all dey will learn is the basics and facts if dey could comprehend the material."

"What do you have in mind?" Severus asked, hoping for an elaboration.

"Many typically start deir training the moment dey apprentice demzelffes to someone who is a fully ledge alchemist, age varies." Edward explained to them. "Two other people I know are alchemist, one of dem started his training when he was in his early teens and the other..." Edward attempted to repress a shudder that threatened to come out. "His alchemy been based down in his family for generations and generations."

Shaking his head in an attempt to repress certain memories, Edward continued. "Vat ve needed to knov is the basic science and understanding behind everything. Understanding of the vorld and its...rules...Den and only den doze who understand vill truly learn hov to use alchemy."

"And those who do not fully understand?" Filius asked

"Ah, dat brings up to my other question." Edward flipped through the pages of his notebook. "Vill I be allowed to kick out students from my class? Dere vill be a punch of dem dat are not going to comprehend alchemy and I do not vant to vaste my time on dem."

"Well...er..." Filius looked over at Severus for some help on that question. Typically, it would be the student that would leave the class,not the teacher kicking out the student. Seeing as he wasn't getting any help he attempted to answer. "How would you know this?"

"My teacher sent my brother and I to an island vith just a knife, the clothes on our backs and a riddle to solve." Edward drawled out, thememory ingrained in the back of his mind. "No food, no vater, just a knife and a riddle to solve all on our own... at least ven ve vere not being chased around by a so-called lunatic and hungry volffes. For a whole month."

"You have a brother?" Severus asked blankly.

"Did I not tell you dat already? No? Eh, must have passed my mind." Edward laughed nervously, in actuality he may have purposely left his brother out from all of their conversations. The reason he had brought Alphonse was to let the two professors know it was a team effort. It had taken both brothers to figure out the riddle. "Ve had one month to figure it out, if ve did not ansver right den teacher vould not have taught us alchemy."

"What was the riddle?"

"One is all, all is one."

Edward carried his suitcase over his shoulder, walking alongside Severus kept a blank expression.

"Is there anything else you wanted to ask?" Severus asked Edward quietly, his lips barely moving as he spoke.

Edward stopped walking, he looked up at the darkening sky. "I do not understand hov magic is able to hide for dis long from my country? If alchemy is conzidered to be...magic...den hov is it able to be shown freely at Amestris but magic is only shown in its own vorld."

Severus stopped walking too and looked over at Edward with an eyebrow raised. "You hardly spoke about your home country."

"It is militaristic. The military is the one dat is running the show, if dey knew about magic den dey vould have used it to vin all its vars." Edward responded grimly at the notion. "Seeing as no magical users vere in the government den magic is not practice dere."

"How would you know that?"

"Because I am stuck in the military dat is compromised of the government." Edward snapped not liking the fact that this was still the case. Even though he may no longer do alchemy, he was still part of the military. The only reason he was taking a year off was that he was driving everyone stir crazy and had gained the title 'Hero of the People'. The second point being included since Edward had used it against his superior. "Even vith Alchemy, it still did not sustained deir dirst of power...Just imagine if dey had magic on deir side..."

Edward could not imagine how different things would have been if magic had come into play. Would it have saved lives or taken more in the process? Could it have helped those Edward couldn't save...

He shook his head, trying to erase the melancholy thoughts from his head, the last thing Edward needed was to relive the past. What's done is done. Nothing was going to change that.

"...We have a theory about that." Severus broke the tense silence that followed after Edward's burst.

"Zo do I. If I told you vat it was den I vould most likely get in serious trouble vith said government." Edward responded with a dry chuckle, his eyes showing mischief as he spoke. "Dat is a story for another day."

Severus debated if he was telling the truth or not, seeing as he couldn't get into Edward's mind to figure it out. "Hn. Where will you be staying for the remainder of the month? Classes start on the first of September."

"Have been staying at a small hodel the last couple of days. It is right across from dat café." Edward responded, turning around and heading towards his destination. "I vill be spending the rest of my time taking into account vat exactly I vould be teaching."

"He agreed to the position as long as we keep to his terms." Snape said, leaning against a wall in Dumbledore's office. He glanced over at the old headmaster skimming through the contract that had been created for Elric to sign to finalize him becoming a professor along with the modified terms of an agreement. By the looks of it, the gray-haired wizard wasn't fully reading the contract. All he wanted was an alchemy professor and didn't particularly care how he got it. "He is opening the class to all years, only requiring the understanding of muggle science. Which he himself would provide to an extent, along with other information needed for this class."

"Is that so..." Dumbledore trailed off, peering down at one of the pages of the contract. "Did he mention what materials he would be requiring for his class?"

"Muggle pens, pencils, spiral notebooks and a periodic table." Snape said remembering the list. "We are going to have to provide most if not all of these materials as most will have difficulty... acquiring them."

"Textbooks?"

"He will be providing his own." Snape responded offhandedly. "He didn't like any of the textbooks that are currently written; he said they are not up to his par."

Without much thought, Dumbledore signed the contract; the moment his pen lifted from the page the stack of papers sprung up and folded itself into an envelope. Dumbledore picked up the envelope and held it in Snapes direction. Snape pushed himself off of the wall towards Dumbledore and took the envelope from him. Tucking the item in his robes, Snape headed towards the fireplace.

"One more thing before you go..." Dumbledore took out a pouch from his desk. "This will cover any magical supplies Elric requires. You will help him, yes?"

Snape huffed under his breath, he could already feel the upcoming headaches. He wouldn't be surprised if Elric questioned his ear off during the trip. "Anything else before I go...?"

"That is all."

Dear Brother...

Edward stared down at the barely written letter, twirling the pen in his hand. Nothing was coming to mind on what he wanted to write down but at the same time he had so much he needed to say. The problem was that if the things he wanted to say were to be intercepted or end up in the wrong hands there would be more trouble than the both of them could handle. It wasn't just that he wanted to talk to someone about his current situation, Edward also needed to contact Alphonse about several books and notes he would need to teach.

Fully knowing that Alphonse was nowhere near where said books and notes were, the younger Elric could easily send a letter to someone (most likely Granny or Winry, or if worst comes to worst then the bastard colonel, excuse him, General Mustang) for them to send said items. The main problem being a way to make sure his letters would not be intercepted by the wrong people.

"This is harder than I thought it would be." Edward's grip slackened, dropping his pen he pushed away from the desk he was using. Standing up he began pacing around the hotel room he was renting for the remainder of the month. It was a modest room, a single bed, a small desk, a night stand, a single chair and a dresser. There was also a closet and a small bathroom. The only thing that Edward liked about the hotel was that it was close to the café and bookstore. "This place is driving me crazy. It's too quiet!"

Shaking his head, Edward sat back down on the solitary chair in the small room and stared down at the barely written letter. He tapped his fingers on the table in an attempt to think of something. Picking up the pen with his right hand Edward began to write, the words having seemingly no correlation with his current situation. Countryside? Ships? Automobiles and the busy streets of London? It may have not made sense to just anyone, but to the people the letter was intended for it would be clear enough for them to crack the code and find the underlying meaning.

Edward stretched his writing arm out an in attempt to loosen the tightened joints, still having some trouble writing with the arm again. He was about to finish the letter when a curt knock broke his trance. With narrowed eyes, Edward silently headed towards the door, prepared for the worst. Looking through the peephole, his tension was swept away. It was Severus. Opening the door, Edward motioned for the wizard to come in.

"Vat did your boss dink of the contract?" Edward asked once he had closed the door. He turned around to see Severus taking a sealed envelope out of his robe.

"This is your contract, as promised, here's the physical form." Severus responded handing Edward the envelope.

Edward smugly regarded the envelope, then quickly placed it on his desk. "Danks."

"And this..." Severus said as he took out a pouch from a concealed pocket in his robe, handing it to Edward as well. "Will help cover for any materials you will need at Diagon Alley."

"Dat is the magical shopping blace right?"

"Yes."
