The idea that a swarm of bugs could eat you while your psyche survives as their hive-mind—forming the bugs into a humanoid shape—is decades old. Cf. the villain Swarm, the Other, Bride of Nine Spiders.

On @InterviewsXn recently @MarvelChampions creative director @xgabo told @JayAxe_ and @xnmfjx13 that the Native American he has on the mind the most lately is the DEMON RIDER: KUSHALA. She is a Ghost Rider who is also a Sorcerer Supreme and she has some AMAZING art.

Believe it or not, Spock (yes from Star Trek) has taken out Wolverine in hand-to hand combat.

Marvel did publish Trek comics, and the X-Men got to travel once into Star Trek space. But no Trek characters entered the Marvel multiverse.

Eliot “Crafty” Franklin is one of the most commonly recurring Circus of Crime members. His mantle, “the Clown,” implies a bit more than just Circus appearances, due to his own solo criminal career and that of others who took the name. Another named Kazi, a remorseless mercenary serial killer, made the name even more sinister. He will appear in Hawkeye this fall.

The (sometimes) romantic counterpart to Kang's many alteregos, Ravonna and her many variants have colored many Marvel comics adventures and now Gugu Mbatha-Raw's performance has imprinted Ravonna's name on the future of the MCU. As an original female character rich with version possibilities, she probably should be near the front of the line to join the MCOC Wishlist.

She fared well in the second #TournamentofBattlerealmFuture on Twitter in 2021, receiving lots of Summoner votes, and would be good material for the MCOC Wishlist.

In the Heroes Reborn 2021 event, most of the main Marvel superheroes are absent, and so many of the non-Avengers have different storylines, many tied in with the Squadron Supreme and their villains. In this universe, Gwen Stacy doesn't fall in with Peter Parker she is trained by Nighthawk and faces Green Goblin and an evil Flash Thompson.

She's new for 2021, and her priority for Summoner voting remains to be seen.

M'Gula’s adventures, oddly, do not overlap with Marvel stories that take place in his native country of Rudyarda, Wakanda’s unfriendly, apartheid addled neighbor you've never heard of. Rock Python’s mutant power is the same as Luke Cage’s powers. He is equipped with A.I.M. tech “snake eggs”: their contents can ensnare, corrode, explode, or slice his target. MCOC Wishlist: low priority.
