Okay so that MDZS x FFX AU.

So NMJ becomes a Summoner so that NHS won't have to worry about Sin. NHS is very against this, someone else can defeat Sin, he can keep his Da-ge. NMJ makes JGY and LXC promise to take care of NHS if he does manage to be the one that defeats Sin.

JGY is one of NMJ's guardians, but not for good reasons. So Bastard Son not being accepted by his father because of reasons? Wonder who that reminds me of. Anyway. Meng Shi takes BB Meng Yao to uhhhhh. I guess the Burial Mounds can be the Zanarkand stand in. They go there so that MY can be more that a Prostitutes Son. He decides to not kill Sin after his mother becomes the final Aeon. He doesn't want to die for a world that never accepted him. He starts plotting his revenge then and there. He befriends NMJ later in life and when NMJ decides to go on the Pilgrimage, MY gladly offers to be his guardian, so that he can become Sin, and fuck shit up.

LXC is just unfortunately part of this party. He will be there for NMJ no matter what. He doesn't suspect anything is up because he has not been presented any reason not to trust his closest friends.

NHS thinks that the whole summoner sacrifice thing is bullshit anyway, and wants a more permanent solution, because there is no way he is losing his Da-ge. He's part of a group that kidnaps Summoners and prevents them from sacrificing themselves, until he runs into WWX and his party, and is like "yeah I can girlboss gatekeep gaslight them into doing what I need them to to keep Da-ge safe." So he ends up being one of WWX's guardians

Do not ask me to figure out who the Yunalesca and Yu Yevon stand ins are right now, this is still the word vomit stage of brain worms.

And is also the ones who knows the truth of the final Aeons. So here, we have an OP magic user instead of a warrior. Where in a moment of reality distortion in form of a tsunami and a dark monster, MXY grabs a 15 year old WWX and tells him no one can’t dream forever, and the world needs his help before the tsunami hits them.-So we have a young WWX who gets washed up on the shores near Dafan Shan where he sees in the water looking like MXY. With 2 boys beside him.Apparently they thought he was drowning. ( WWX : I can swim damn well TYVM! ) Confused, he wanders up the shores to with the two warriors LJY and LSZ. He learns that they are here on Dafan Shan accompanying their summoner on a pilgrimage to stop the Stygian Demon that has terrorised everyone for years.( I’m so original hur.No.)The great sects have produced summoners for years, dedicated to stopping demonic spirits and go on pilgrimage to save people.Recent years have seen summoners dying before they can stop the Stygian Demon, a mindless fiend that was once a dark summoner’s lost Dark Aeon, which he used to stop Qishan Wen summoners in the Summoners War.-LSZ tells WWX they are waiting for their summoner to receive the Aeon’s blessing.Where they suddenly find a bunch of fiends attacking the village. The 3 of them do their best to fend off the fiends.One of which is WN, the unsent turned wild Aeon, the ghost general. Before a guqin sound echoes and clears the village of evil with a dragon looking Aeon beside him.-Let us welcome the man who always brings his own BGM into the scene.-WWX is surprised to see the face of his ( ex-husband *gets smacked* ) old acquaintance.That LWJ is the summoner who have decided to go meet his death by going to destroy the Stygian Demon.He doesn’t really remember much, but he just wants to go back to Lotus Pier.And that MXY must have brought him back to stop the Stygian Demon.So young thoughtless WWX ( whom LJY suspects and declares he has head trauma, because Lotus Pier is nothing but ruins. ) decides to join them and this older man with LWJ’s face on their pilgrimage.-While collecting Aeons, fending off attacks by people who don’t support the sects, Jinling and his guardian, tiny Fairy, trying to prove themselves.WN appears occasionally to attack the party.A wild purple man, Sect Leader Jiang who just has issues with LWJ and WWX. Sect leader Jiang is suspicious of WWX.- On the way to Qinghe, NHS asks of them if they find the unsent of NMJ to let him know.-In Qishan, they find out from the unsent soul of one angry NMJ that something is wrong with Lanling Jin-Along the way, they head to a ceremonial party by Lanling Jin.They find out that Lanling Jin was the one sending summoners to die, in hopes to control the Stygian Demon.JGY reveal that WWX is actually the soul of the dark summoner from 1000 years ago ( yes LWJ waited that long, fight me ) who made the Stygian Demon Aeon after they dispelled the appearance MXY had given WWX.JGY says they have been suspicious since WWX’s appearance had summoned the Wen fiend WN, at Lanling.They suspect WN wanting to rejoin his old master.-WWX goes into shock, and pieces of memories coming to him that aren’t his own? However, LWJ holds onto him saying he believes WWX regardless.The party flees with the aid of Jin Ling who says, even if he feels a certain hate towards WWX,he feels WWX is not as everyone says he is. WN finds the party and they realise WN was just trying to stop them from coming near Lanling. Jin Ling then joins their party officially.-They flee to Gusu, where LWJ and WWX share a kiss and a moment.LWJ says WWX reminds him of a precious memory that he holds dear ever since he was born.-They know something isn’t right and they will stop JGY from taking the Dark Aeon.Although LXC still refuses to fully believe JGY is sending people to die for his own plans. LXC joins them towards the ruins of Lotus Pier.-Before Lotus Pier, they pass through Yiling, where Yunmeng Jiang had relocated for years, awaiting summoners and ultimately, for the return of WWX the dark High Summoner.-JC has long been plagued by dreams and memories of a lost family and a fallen brother. Now that WWX in his true 15 year old appearance has triggered him and the two clash but not before LWJ steps in to protect WWX.WN appears and clashes with JC, and the unsent Aeon who have regained consciousness reveals to JC that 1000 years ago, he would have died in the Summoners War with Qishan if not for WWX.-A loud rumble tells them that they are running out of time and either JGY gets them first of the Stygian Demon will destroy the world.- Here, WWX sees the Fayth, the dreaming Wen remnants. He remembers.As MXY said, he needs to end this dream. No one can dream forever.- At the ruins of Lotus Pier, LWJ heads in to receive the final Aeon but WWX stops him.He refuses to let LWJ die. There, they find the unsent soul of JYL guarding the place, the Dream Lotus Pier. ( Yes I made JYL Yunalesca ) WWX finally breaks down when he sees JYL who is trapped in the dream he has made, but at the same time this is just a memory of JYL corrupted by years of unsent summoners.-After defeating JYL’s memory…WWX regains his true Yiling Patriarch form.While they needed to find another way to defeat the Dark Aeon the party gets captured by Lanling Jin who takes them up and into the Stygian Demon’s core.-LSZ,LJY, JL,JC holds off the army while LXC defeats his corrupted sworn brother with the unsent of NMJ who has become an Aeon.They are afterall in the core where unsent souls gather.-WWX and LWJ heads in deeper into the dream where with the aid of the unsent and Aeons, they defeat the Stygian Demon and disperses the Fayth.-With the Fayth gone, the dream ends and as an unsent himself, WWX gets ready to send himself along with souls.He gets stopped by LWJ who refuses to let him go. -Turns out 1000 years ago, WWX made the Fayth,the dream,in his grief and despair that ended up consumed and guarded by the Stygian Demon. Along with that, the memories of those who know him will remain and always be attached to the souls that remain each time they are reborn. As long as they dream and remember, WWX and his dream will exist.Now that the cycle has stopped, once they die, WWX’s memory too will fade forever.-LWJ as stubborn and tells WWX he refuses to forget and to let his beloved disappear again.He couldn’t protect him 1000 years ago when the Sects wanted him dead when he lost control of his power and Aeons.He started this pilgrimage (and to die) not just to save the commonfolk but because he want to find him.-WWX tells LWJ rather than to die, to live for him instead.He reaches up and kisses High Summoner Hanguang Jun for the last time and fades into a million pyreflies. Someday they will meet again in a dream.-LWJ keeps his promise and quietly sings their song each night, with every sending he does.Wishing.Hoping.Waiting.-13 years later, someone sings in reply.IM TIRED OF TYPING. Imagine a Final fantasy 10 AU of MDZS. Except would Lan Wanji be the summoner or would Wei Wuxian be the summoner?

If we also include FFX-II in this equation, I’ll have LWJ as the summoner. WWX would probably drive the Aeons away with how loud he is! The Wens are still the bad guys of course.

After the end of X, LWJ goes on an adventure to find WWX and bring him back. (MXY as Shuyin bcs why not?) Let’s just give them the True Ending because I’m a sucker for happy things, and they reunite and go back to Gusu.

But hey if we go with the opposite, WWX as the summoner, that would make Gusu Zanarkand and somehow the thought just kills me.

Anyone here play FFX? Because I have MDZS FFX AU brainworms, because I thought about ffx again for a solid second and was like "Yeah, WWX is exactly self sacrificing enough to go on a convoluted suicide mission because he feels like he owes it to the Jiangs specifically to keep them safe for another ten years"

Wen Ning and Wen Qing are his guardians. Hypothetically, if they finished the pilgrimage, WN would be the new Sin, but LWJ saw WWX breaking so many rules at their temple and was like "he's going to make every sect temple want to kill him, I have to do something to keep this person who will potentially bring the next Calm safe." And then falls in love instantly, and I'm like "yeah, LWJ is selfish enough to put WWX above the entire world and find a new way to defeat the giant murder whale called Sin."

Okay. First. Should Operation Nightless City be called the Sunshot Operation, since the goal of both the OG Sunshot Campaign and me was to wreck the Main Wen Branch's ass?

Who was the last high summoner? :)

Okay so Cangse Sanren, right? She went on the pilgrimage 10 years ago. WWX gets to know his parents until he's like 15, and he is left with JFM and YZY. YZY is pissed that her GF CSSR is just dumping their son on them until WCZ returns, but keeps him safe, but is angry about it.

WCZ did not want to go on this pilgrimage. He wants to stay with his wife and son, to be safe, but CSSR is like "Our Son has so much potential, he deserves to thrive, and it is my job as a mother to give him that chance." And WCZ gives in.

CSSR goes off, causes problems by being so fucking cool, and then she kills Sin with her husband as her only guardian. So most of the problems she causes are related to how shady all the sects are about Sin. And she gets to uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I still haven't figured out who the bitch who is turning people into the Final Aeons is. Someone help me. Idk. For now it's some stinky bastard. And Sin uhhhhhhhhhh. Is. The result of uhhh.... Unsexy demonic cultivation, as opposed to WWX's very sexy demonic cultivation. I'm sorry WWX bb, no Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation for you this time around, but you'll be the grandmaster of domestic cultivation during the post game.

Anyway. CSSR meets the stinky bastard, and is like "fuck you, I'm not going to sacrifice my whole ass husband for this bullshit, testing myself off the mountain is one thing, but my husband? The father of my son? Nah, he has things to do and our son to raise." But Stinky Bastard is like "well I can't let you leave here and tell the world about the final Aeon." And it's basically, you both die here and take out Sin, keeping your son safe for another ten years, or you just die here.

So CSSR and WCZ unfortunately do the thing.

So that's another thing WWX and LWJ can bond over.

Okay. More on WWX and his Guardian party.

So Sin coming back coincides with Jin Ling being born, and WWX needs his Shijie to have a happy and healthy baby. That and JC implied he might do it, Madame Yu said absolutely not, and JFM implied he might do it, and WWX saw all this and was like "Okay, yeah I will do it." And he tells Wen Qing and Wen Ning and they all go down to the Lotus Pier summoning chamber and WWX prays real hard and becomes a Summoner.

Jiang Cheng doesn't join the party until later in the game, but as soon as he figures out what WWX is planning, he goes down to stop him. But it's too late, and he's pissed, and he doesn't go to send WWX off. He feels guilty about it, because that's his brother going off on a suicide mission. So eventually he goes off to join WWX's party.

Okay so. Let's say that Nightless City got fucked by Sin. The Wen Sect is scattered. Wen Chao plans on becoming the next High Summoner to restore honor to the Wen Sect. Well. He didn't plan to do that, WRH planned for him to do that. WZL is his guardian. WRH also planned on sending WQ and WN off as a Summoner Guardian duo, but they ran off to WWX before he could make them. WWX keeps them safe, and then when he decides to become a summoner, they stick by him. They do this so that their elderly relatives will not be endangered.

Wen Qing is team healer, she doesn't want to go on the Pilgrimage, but she knows Wen Ning will go with WWX, so she has to make sure they don't end up dead.

Wen Ning decides to be WWX's guardian as soon as WWX says he's going to become a summoner. He doesn't want WWX to do this but he knows he can't stop him once he's made up his mind, so he will stand by WWX's side.

Lan Zhan joins the party when WWX comes to Gusu. They of course meet on a wall with WWX breaking some rules. Lan Zhan is like "get out, you're breaking rules and we have visiting summoners." And WWX is like "excuse you, I am a visiting summoner, I didn't know I was breaking rules so you can just forget about this, right?" And LWJ looks at WWX and he doesn't know why he feels so sad that the world may lose this person soon. While he's caught up in that WWX tries to sneak off but LWJ doesn't just let him go. WWX does eventually get away and back with his Wens, and in the morning, they go to grab that new summon. LWJ is keeping a close eye on him, up until WWX enters the temple.

Lan Zhan isn't a big fan of this whole cycle of death thing. Gusu Lan has had many High Summoners come out of this. Lan An and Lan Yi, and Qingheng Jun. No one would tell him how his mother, one of his father's guardians, died. Lan Qiren was in Yiling 20 years ago when it happened as a guardian, but never speaks of it.

When WWX comes back out, Lan Zhan feels this need to join WWX. To keep him from breaking the rules at other sect temples, nothing else, nope.

WWX is like "no" but LWJ just stares him down until WWX finally gives in, but WWX is like "I'm kind of a lot, so I won't blame you if you decide to ditch by the next temple." But Lan Zhan was already whipped. No wait--

Okay so NHS and his homies manage to kidnap WWX to prevent him from making the sacrifice, and WWX is like "okay but if I do it, your brother won't have to." And NHS is like "hm. Fair point." And by the time WWX's guardians come, WWX and NHS are drinking and talking about art. NHS joins the party.

LWJ and NHS start plotting because the whole Sin Cycle is suspicious and there has to be a better way.

Okay I lied about the Wens, but that's okay, this is still the word vomit brainworms stage... Four posts in.

Anyway.

Operation Nightless City.

WRH wants the glory of defeating Sin right, but he doesn't want to die for it. So. Operation Nightless City. They're going to blow up Sin or die trying.

They die trying.

Wen Xu is the head of the operation site, he keeps the Sin Spawn in check, he has the magic lasers ready to go, he has a bunch of red shirts at the ready to die for this.

Wen Chao and Wang Lingjiao are there to uhhhhhhhhhh.

And our heroes are there to watch this tragedy unfold.

Sin destroys everything, leaving little survivors.

WRH manages to barely survive the attack. JGY puts a stop to him living any longer than that.

Idk, perhaps JGY has been planting this idea in WRH's head for a while now, because he needed to prove to the Summoners, and especially NMJ that there is no other way to defeat Sin than with the Final Summoning. And now that WRH has fulfilled his role, JGY takes him out. Like. As the right hand man of Sect Leader Nie, he has to do a lot of diplomatic shit, so he goes to Qishan to deliver NMJ's message of "fuck off" every week, and casually slips in that it's a shame that a summoner cannot celebrate their victory and that they deserve to know what glory they hold. And WRH is like "dimple twink makes a good point, that's a lot of glory to be had." And starts cooking up a plan to make the world indebted to him by destroying Sin without sacrifice. Except there is a lot of sacrifice, oops.

This ends up making the Wen Sect look really bad, one might venture to call them heretics.

And WWX has two whole Wens in his party, so they're going to be given a hard time about it.
