Erik:

- mom died of child birth

- had an identical twin sister who got confused for him by a stalker, she was killed in the confusion and Erik walked in on it

- Erik burned the killer alive and had to run away with his dad afterwards

- dad died and a mentor took care of him

- watch his mentor’s face be torn off in front of him due to a failed ritual, but he wasn’t harmed due to the protection symbols & etc burned into the skin of his back

- constant paranoia that the potions he makes to help people will end up hurting them, even though he has no ill intention- he knows how people are

Smiles:

- boss at his job was overly possessive of him, but he let it slide due to the fact he needed the money from said job

- his boss ended up dr*gging him and you can guess what happened due to the warning tags

- Not wanting to leave her with a child even though he felt horrible being around her, he stuck around. Being hit and yelled at constantly outside of work.

- he gets the kid and she fired him and left him, leaving him to raise the baby boy on his own

- he manages well, getting a new job and whatnot, and giving his son the tiny little plushie bear that the boy always carried around- it would be the first thing he saw outside his son’s room on the floor before walking in to see his old boss by his son’s cradle

- she had ended up killing the kid, wanting to get rid of any evidence she could about what she’d done to blame it all on Ambrose (Smiles)

- he snapped and strangled her to death in his son’s room, afterwards holding his son and the little bear in his arms as he cried

- he hid her body and had a funeral for his son, no one else showed since it wasn’t like he had anyone else who cared about him or his little family

- he tried to move on, but he kept meeting other victims and other people like him- and he couldn’t stand just sitting by. So if he heard about someone who had or was doing similar things that his boss had done- he would kill them.

- eventually he made traps with his engineering degree and would use them on the victims, always crying after because he’d remember his son and what started this all in the first place

- will break down if he can’t find the little plushie bear, and can’t stand going too long without it near him- at max a day

Ezekiel:

- Was an angel who genuinely wanted to help people, but got tricked by one into doing a bad deed and was cast out for it

- Felt betrayed and hurt, crying out and apologizing for whatever he had done- because he didn’t even know why he was cast out

- eventually the pleading turned to silence and then to hate as he purposely started to ruin their work

- eventually found a lost young man in his early twenties and convinced him that he was an angel sent to protect him- the man believed it and was considered a “prophet.”

- the man ended up starting a cult, and Ezekiel- knowing it would piss off his family- went with it. Manipulating and breaking the man and his cult.

- eventually the man got a letter to the manor and decided to go there, Ezekiel following. They get there and the Baron forcefully shoves the two of them into one body. Ezekiel ended up taking over and shoving the other into his mine.

- Ezekiel felt powerless at the manor and was often left to suffer with his thoughts, no cult to distract him from his guilt of what he’d done to these people.

- over time the guilt overwhelms him to the point the Baron doesn’t see him able to play as a survivor anymore. Contorting his body into the newest hunter, the Angelic Paladin.

- As a hunter he almost constantly cries, guilt overwhelming him from his overflowing thoughts of what he’d done and the homesickness to reunite with his family. The man or human from before mainly being in control during matches, bloodthirsty and wanting to serve the now regretful fallen angel.
