Windchasers are one of the few dragons that you'd look upon and feel like you dont know what you're looking at. They look nothing like a dragon! more like some overgrown lizard with a frill or something like that i guess. Surprisingly though, they're very ancient wyverns- somehow related to Lurkers, and just like their chubby, croc like relatives; they're completely flightless. Sorta. You see, Windchasers were thought to be two completely kinds of dragons before, as their hatchlings happen to look quite differently than their adult versions, this is due their island hopping habit. Once spring arrives, and tropical storms pour down in certain chain of islands, juvenile Windchasers will hatch from piles of rotting seaweed, and without any hesitation, they'd open their massive white frills to catch wind and get blown away by it. I guess this is how some species disperse and spread!
