Who are your fav ros from other ifs/wips/upcoming wips???

Hi Anon!

Unfortunately, I haven't read a lot of WIPs lately—I used to consume them voraciously years ago, but I tried lessening the amount of WIPs I follow because I'm very bad with waiting! It's hard for me to temper my excitement, but I love IFs still! Even if they're finished, I also have a hard time making time just to read. :(

That being said, I've made a few special exceptions for these IFs, in no particular order:

Nimue from Bastard of Camelot (@llamagirl28). I fell in love with her right away when she came on screen! I love how mysterious, yet mischevious she can be, and I'm a sucker for those kinds of characters <3 As I was reading, I kept seeking her out and hoping she returned on screen... 🥺🥺

Rayyan from CT:OS (@allieebobo). In general, I love all games by allie because they're just so undoubtedly queer. I can't describe it, and I can't place my finger on it. Even if I play it straight, I know it'll still feel very gay. Also, she is just so good at writing characters!! I loved the dynamic the MC has with Rayyan, and reading their interactions and the story is one of the few times I felt so excited and happy reading an IF!

Marco from Blood Moon (@barbwritesstuff). I played this when it was a WIP, and again, while I tried to shield my heart from WIPs, I decided to read Blood Moon anyway and loved it so much!! Marco won me over immediately, but Carrie also has a special place in my heart. (In fact, all the ROs do, since I played all their routes!)

Wren from Unsanctioned (@unsanctioned-if). Again, I adore my intelligent characters, and I especially love intelligent and arrogant characters the most! They are just so beautiful, too, it was love at first sight!!

Michael from Fallen (@fallen-if). I actually have a lifetime grudge against everyone called Michael, and I'm not kidding. My hatred for Michael's is real. And yet, I can't help but be so enthralled by this Michael and I absolutely hate it!! It drives me crazy in a good way. He's too loveable. Ugh.

I've become very picky in what I choose to read and invest in, because I pour too much of myself in loving things. I will definitely resolve to read more, when I can :)

Idk if you even remember Ash, he's seen in season 2 but for like, just 5 minutes in total so I'm not gonna be mad if you don't remember him, but I throught about asking you if you could write something for him with Reader that's Dean and Sam's little sister? Dating was something that was always particularly hard for you as you’ve been consistently on the road with your father and brothers since you were six months old. The four of you never staying in the same place long enough for you to ever form any kind of connection with anyone. In a way, you thought that it was a good thing considering this line of work, but at the same time, human connection was something that you craved, yearned for. Yes, you had a strong bond with your brothers (Sam more than Dean – twin power you know?), and kind of had a strong bond with your father, but the bonds that you had with the three of them weren’t particularly fulfilling for you. You always felt like there was something missing.

At one point when you were seven or eight, long before you had learned of the supernatural, you had asked your father once when the four of you were in the car if you could stay at Uncle Bobby’s for a while.

“I’m tired of moving around so much daddy. Can I stay at Uncle Bobby’s for a while?” You had told him, asked him; silence filled the impala, despite the music being so loud.

Sam turned to face you before turning to look at your father – you knew that Sam had felt the same way. Dean turned to look at you, craning his neck as he was in the front seat along with your father who was currently driving to the next motel. It would have been the third motel in less than two weeks. Your father looked into the rearview mirror, looking at you as you started playing with your thumbs. “I’m sorry…” You whispered.

When the four of you had gotten to the motel, Dean had practically pulled you to the side while your father and Sam had started bringing things into the motel room. “Why do you want to get away from dad so bad?” He asked, almost as if he was offended.

“I want to stay in one place longer than two days.” You said. “Motels smell funny.”

Dean scoffed. “So does Uncle Bobby’s house.”

That was the last time you had ever asked.

Even if you had found yourself lucky to pull a date, something or someone would always get in the way. Either a hunt would take precedence, or one of your brothers (usually Dean) would “accidentally” interrupt the date. With either scenario, the guy you had landed the date with would either never call you make again – despite your efforts of trying to make something work or, they would outright tell you to never call them again.

As the years went by, you had simply come to the conclusion that you were destined to never find love, destined to spend the life on the road with your brothers as hunters.

“Come with me.” Sam said to you, a few weeks before he had told you, Dean, and your father that he was going to be leaving to go to Stanford.

“I can’t Sammy. I don’t have a full ride like you do.” You said. “Besides, he’d be too fucking worried if I went.”

“But we’d be together Y/N. It’s not like we’d be by ourselves.” He said. He wanted you to come with him, despite not really interested in the whole college thing; but he knew hunting was something that you had never wanted to do. You wanted that white picket fence life like he wanted.

“I can’t…leave Dean with dad.” You told him. As much as you had wanted to go with him, you couldn’t leave Dean and dad alone, as you were usually the buffer between them. Yes, they rarely got into fights but when they did…it got bad.

You were fully prepared to do the whole one night stand thing for the rest of your life. At least you would have some kind of human connection, even if it was just for a little while. Hell, it’s been working out just fine for Dean, why wouldn’t it work for you? But that was until you met Ash.

Ash was an interesting person; someone that you thought you wouldn’t have ended up with. Despite knowing him less than a year, he was someone that you could actually imagine spending your life with (no matter how long that life span may be). You had first met him about a few months after the death of your father when your brother Sam was listening to your father’s voicemails.

“He’s always been so secretive.” You told them, upon hearing the sound of a woman’s voice in one of the voicemails – a woman that called herself Ellen.

“Think dad ever had a thing with her and it ended badly? Maybe that’s why he never told us about her.” Sam theorized.

His theory caused your other brother to give a disgusted look. “Gross, now I’m thinking of dad having sex.” Dean said, his voice sounding just as disgusted.

“You are far too pretty to be with these two.” Was one of the first sentences that Ash had ever uttered to you. A sentence that had made you laugh, but a sentence that offended your eldest brother Dean the most.

The relationship between you and Ash was something that you honestly didn’t expect to happen. Not because he wasn’t your type, but because you had thought that there would be no possible way to maintain a relationship given the fact that you were always on the road.

“You know this isn’t going to work out right?” You had told Ash, the day you and your brothers had gotten back to the Roadhouse after completing the Rakshasa case.

Ash looked at you, trying his best to play it cool as your brothers were only standing within earshot. “That’s the beauty of technology. You’d only be a phone call away.” He said. Him saying this was something that you had never really thought about previously; but it was something that had made perfect sense to you.

“If someone wants to be with you kid, they’ll make the effort.” Bobby told you numerous times growing up. For years, it was a line you thought that he just said in order to make you feel better. But for the first time in your life, you realized that Ash was the only guy in your life (besides your brothers and your father) that had actually wanted to make the effort.

“You and Ash still going strong uh?” Dean asked, leaning up against Baby.

“Uh, yeah.” You replied. “Still trying to get used to the whole long distance thing.”

“That’s fair.” He said. “At least you guys text and call right?”

“Yeah.” You nodded.

Dean raised an eyebrow. “Do you not want to talk about this? Thought this would be something you’d be all over.”

“Dean, you and Sammy have never been people I’ve spoken to about guys before. Nor have either of you really asked. Why the sudden interest in Ash and me?” Whenever you had crushes on people in the past, you had never once found yourself gunning to tell one of your brothers or your dad. You knew that it would only end badly; especially if you told your father or Dean.

He shrugged. “Can’t your brother just be interested in your relationship for once?”

“Not without ulterior motives he can’t.” You gave him a look, your brother automatically looking offended.

“Me? Have an ulterior motive? Honestly sis, I’m offended.” He scoffed.

“It’s kind of your MO brother.” You said. Dean opened up his mouth as if to say something; to try and get himself out of whatever hole he had dug himself into. But there was nothing that he could possibly say to get out of it. He instead just closed his mouth.

“Look, I’m just happy for you. Truly I am.” He actually sounded sincere. “You know me and Sammy just worry.”

“And you know just as well as I do that I can kick either of your asses.” You said. “I can take care of myself just fine. And Ash…neither of you have anything to worry about honestly.”

“You know, I’ve been thinking Ash.” You said, sitting on the trunk of Baby while your brothers were inside of the motel room. Being outside was the only source of privacy that you could possibly have when being on the phone.

“What’s up Missus Badass?” He asked, hearing the smile in his voice.

“I was thinking, after we finally kill Yellow Eyes…I’m going to quit hunting.” You said. “How would Ellen and Jo feel about me working at the Roadhouse?” Your tone half joking and half serious. Ash was silent for a moment, more quiet than he normally was whenever he was on the phone. “Ash? I didn’t lose you did I?”

“No…No…” He began. “They’d love to have you.”

“Yeah?” You asked. “You know, I am very familiar with the workings of a bar.”

“If I didn’t know you so well, I would be concerned by that statement. But, since you are a Winchester, I ain’t the least bit surprised.” He said.

“Yeah. I’ve been hustling pool, and playing poker before I reached puberty.” You laughed a little. “As Sammy would say, the way we were raised was jacked.” You paused. “But hey, at least I met you.”

“Your mullet knight in flannel armor.” He said serious.

“Oh, I like the sound of that.” You smiled. The motel door opened, your brothers coming out. “I gotta go but…I love you.” You whispered the I love you. Hoping that it was just loud enough for Ash to hear, but low enough for your brothers not to.

Your I love you had caught him slightly off guard, but it was something that he enjoyed hearing you say. “I love you too.” He responded back. You were happy that he said it back, afraid that you might of said it too soon. For the first time in a long time, you had felt like you might actually get that happy ending you have always wanted: a life away from hunting.

Like I said before, I don't gatekeep and I made it my mission to represent Kavetham teams. It's not just for the ✨️gays✨️, I'm here for the 🌈Gaymers🌈. So, have my Kaveh's bloom build, Basic Bitch build*, and Battery build ideas for viewing. And Alhaitham's here.

Yes, I legitimately have a team specifically to carry Kaveh's different outfits labeled, "Kaveh's Wardrobe."** Leave me be.

Bloom

Generic, but I love his bloom kit. He's a 4 star tank that gets the highest score in Abyss for "Most Damage Taken" 🥺 each and every time. Since I don't have Mailed Flower, I want Makhaira Aquamarine and that's all I'm missing for this outfit.

Basic Bitch*/DPS (wip)

I now have Redhorn Stonethresher, Itto's weapon, and I'm trying to get more refinements. So, I will switch to that when I can. I chose Deepwood Forest for his DPS outfit for the Dendro res shredding. I also considered Vermillion Hereafter and the traditional Gladiator's Finale set for ATK boosts.

Xingqiu normally wields Deepwood for the team, but if Kaveh and Alhaitham change their outifts, then Xingqiu might be switched out of the team entirely.

Battery (wip)

This one is simple. Focus on ER and collecting particles. Chongyun is holding the seconday battery set, Sacrificial Greatsword + Noblesse Oblige; I didn't care enough to add that to Enka network because it's like 4:30 am and I haven't slept. Mix and match to your liking. So, Kaveh technically has 4 outfits. 💕

Alhaitham: Basic Bitch* & Battery Build

Loser husband. Only wears sweats or a bland as fuck black suit & tie to formal events. Overall, he's still a DPS but I gave some attention to ER. Will occasionally switch out Harbinger of Dawn with my R3 Blacksword from battlepass because I like its little healing passive for him. Shinobu can only keep you alive for so long, Alhaitham, and she might not even be on the team at all times. It's a little bit of a WIP because I changed out his sands and circlet.

Supports are also important. The final two slots can be whoever you wish, of course, but it does need to make some sense. For example, if I'm using my Kaveh DPS build, Alhaitham will lean into his battery build, and their supports could be Yun Jin, Bennett, or Rosaria. Basically, characters that buff the on-field DPS, i.e. Kaveh. As mentioned before, I normally have Xingqiu on the team, Hydro subDPS with Dendro resistance shredding thanks to the Deepwood set, but he can be switched around when I don't use the Bloom outfit.

For my Kavetham comrades, please feel free to gain inspiration from my builds. I would love to see your ideas ♡ too. If people are making DPS Freminent, Amber, Heizou, and even Pyro Yao Yao, there's no excuse to building your favs into little monsters. Send them to the Abyss to serve cunt. 💃 To everyone else, I don't tolerate any hate, harassment, or unwarranted "help/advice." Yes, we know what the meta is. No, we clearly don't care. Keep it to yourself.

* I say the phrase "Basic Bitch" for DPS builds because they're generally the same for any character: Flower (HP), Feather (ATK), [scaling stat ATK%/DEF%/HP%/EM] Sands, Elemental/Physical dmg Goblet, and Crit dmg/rate circlet.

** "Outfits" refer to artifacts and weapon pairings.

* Tsuji and Shibaman have known each other well for years, so they know how each other feels.

* Their adventures, which started as best friends, continued as they grew up, realizing their feelings for each other.

* But neither knew that one day they would fall in love with someone else.

* Shibaman was excitedly talking about a newly released song to Tsuji. While Tsuji was silently listening to him, she saw a young girl was bothering by a few boys ahead and pointed it out to Shiba

* It was clear that Y/n was uncomfortable and wanted to get away. She didn't look scared but looked bored.

* When one of the boys pulled her purse from y/n's arm, Tsuji quickly stepped towards her and took the boy away from the young girl. Shiba got in front of her, preventing them from approaching her.

* Sometimes you'd make them lunch before they went to school and you'd be pretty careful what they both liked and didn't like. And rest assured, these are the best thing they've ever eaten.

* Although you were quite quiet at first when you met the people in Oya, you got used to them over time.

* You got used to them enough to annoy Yasushi and play games with Fujio.

* Todoroki often wanted to make sure you felt comfortable because his best friends' girlfriend was someone dear to him.

* And he respected you as much as you respected him.

* Tsuji and Shiba have never seen you fight, but you were offended by a street thug talking about your lovers pretty nasty. That's why you punched him hard.

* Tsuji and Shiba saw that you were upset, but when they heard that you were doing this for them, they spoke to you for a long time to comfort you.

* And they said to you to protect just yourself, that they will always protect themselves and you.

* Over time, they got used to your fun and loving side, and the days filled with your smile made them happier every day.

Nathaniel: is more likeable because his name is closest to my fav boy name Nathan.

Fyodor: somehow I have a completely neutral opinion of him, I don't like or dislike him.

Nikolai: this may be bias but I absolutely adore white haired characters that have braids, there my type of people and I automatically like them, bonus points if there unhinged

Sigma: bro is the official Y/N I feel bad for him, the absolute shit he went through, also he has the best and most realistic facial expressions in all of bsd

Bram: I like him, I seriously hope him and that small red head gets a brother/sister relationship.

Oguri: studio bones got to him

Agatha: her name is like one step away from being majestic

Fukichi: bro is the reason why Kenji and Atsushi got hurt alot, not to mention he's planning world wide terrorism, and it was all because he got rejected by his childhood crush(this is totally what happened)

Teruko:my fav bsd character, love her absolute girlboss, pls I beg of you let me be your bestie, I will sell my soul

Jouno: pretty good, I love that he put others above his own self pleasures, also kinda terrifying in some manga panels and In others hes so cute

Tecchou: cute little boy, love him, also I ship him with jouno, it's mandatory if you enter this fandom, will probably end up being bestie with kenji

Aya: biggest girlboss in this entire series, hate her dad, she is best girl, if you dis her I will track you down and find you.

So, fanfic ideas.... If JJK characters were in No Power world, what would their job be if not become Jujutsu Sorcerer (in your opinion)? Why? Please pick your top 5 (or top 3) fav characters....

Gojo will definitely be that rich kid who ends up inheriting the entire family's fortune and becomes a CEO like in those Korean dramas. 😂

I think being a kindergarten teacher or any kind of works that involves taking care of children will suit Geto very much. Though I'd love to imagine he works as Gojo's right-hand-man so they can always be together. 💕 (this role probably suits Ichiji, tho, the poor overworked secretary for his whimsical boss lmao)

I'll go with Shoko next since I already talked about Gojo and Geto but as cliche as this might sound, being a doctor already suits her perfectly in my opinion. Or maybe a professor/researcher, basically anything that involves academic research.

(On that topic, Kenjaku is probably that mad scientist shunned by the whole academic world because of how extreme and twisted his researches are that goes beyond ethics and moral. 😂)

Another one of my favorite character is Choso. I'm not quite sure what job will suit him. He can be a martial arts teacher since he's so good at fighting. But it also seems to be pretty cute if he's that Onii-chan who works odd jobs/part-time here and there so he can support the family and take cares of his younger brothers. 🥺

Lastly, I'll go with Nanami. His face honestly already screams salary man and I think he'll go well being the person-in-charge to work with Gojo's company (and ends up being played by Gojo every single time). 😂 That said, it would be fun to see him as an author who writes best-selling books but always keep low-profile so not a lot of people knows about his personal life.

like the whole story is so beautiful and the characters are so HUMAN, like i think thats what gets me the most. both gojo and reader make mistakes and fuck up and apologise, except when they dont, and they have problems and feelings and they struggle but theyre trying their best and it just BXLAHXKSBXJ !!!!! im fine. promise. anyways. theyre just so intricate. i love it when characters have depth🫶🫶🫶

as time goes by by @redundant-lava - based on casablanca - 1942. it's amazingly written, clever, and emotionally gutting. this was MADE to be an mlb enemies au and lava did such a good job with it. i will never stop rec-ing it!

once more, with feeling by @zimtlein - this one is rated e, just a heads up. it's so so good! the way the relationship develops between marinette and adrien had me reeling from the first chapter. it's kind of dark but sooo romantic. if it's your speed, it's a good one to binge!

et donc, ils dansent by dame_de_la_chance - amazing, awe-inspiring! the feelings i felt while reading this! the way the enemies dynamic is portrayed is just so juicy, and there's so much pining. i go back and read it every so often to soak in the masterfulness.

heroes don't love villains by vrdant - gosh this one is so good. i have read it so many dozens of times and it's still not enough. this author is such a good writer and captures feelings so well. this one will be burned into your soul for sure.

marionette strings by @rosekasa (maketea on ao3) - absolutely stunning. omg. i reread it again while writing these recs and it shook me to my soul. alizeh is a master of the craft and a master of enemies ladynoir. this fic changed me and it will change you too.

This is literally based on the Taylor swift love triangle; august James and Betty! And how the reader is august and her pov reflects how she lost someone that she never had. “Hey,” was the start of this all. This whole debacle started because he said hey. You should have known; you saw her.

It did start innocently enough, he was a regular and you worked there. A new job and a new town. Penny was courteous enough to help you at the bar, but he always waited to order for the rare moments when she was busy, or running to grab more rum.

“Hey sugar, two more beers please.”

“Coming right up,”

You didn’t need anything more than that. Sure, you wanted it, but his arm was always around her. All the pilots are sitting at the pool table, and for the whole month you’ve worked at the Hard Deck, they’ve been there every saturday. Without fail.

You’re racing around, but every time you stop and breathe in the moment, your eyes are drawn towards him.

August 1st. That was the day he showed up, alone. No other pilots in sight. She wasn’t there.

“Hey,” He says.

“Rooster, what can I get for ya?” You sound excited to see him, even though you’re almost certain that he’ll ask for a beer.

“Your number?” You’re shocked. He’s laying it on thick, for the first time that he’s appeared without her anyways. “Order a round and I’ll tell you,” You say, a little shocked at your forwardness. “I’ll take a beer, then.”

Sure enough, your number is lying at the bottom of his receipt.

You’d be lying if you had said that you weren’t excited for him to call. When he finally did, you cancelled all your plans. That friend you had made? Hanging out with her didn’t matter right now.

Soon enough though, it wasn’t just canceling when he called. It was in advance. Everyone got a “Sorry, I can't do anything. I have work stuff.” or sometimes a “Can’t. Families in town.”

It was worth it, right?

August 10th. You’ve met up with him a few times, and you’re falling hard. He’s perfect, but if you had thought longer you would have found his fatal flaw.

“Hi baby,” He said over the phone. You’re sitting at your apartment counter.

“Hey!”

“You wanna do somethin’ tonight?”

“Yeah, what?”

“I’ll pick you up behind the mall?”

“Sounds good, Roo.”

He pulls up in that stupidly charming Bronco, and you hop in without a second thought. You wake up next to him, again.

August 14th. He’s being weird. He’ll call you, and talk to you at the bar, but ushers you away from his friends. Like he’s ashamed. You should have pieced it together, you think. From what you knew, his ‘ex’ (who you’ve never really talked about) is also a pilot. Now, however, you know that she was on the other side of the country.

To put his odd behavior out of your mind, you switch sides with Penny. You’re facing away from the pool table because, out of sight, out of mind. You wish it were that easy now.

“Hi, hun.” He greets you when you step out of the bar. Your coworker agreed to take your shift a little earlier than required, and you’re going to take advantage of it.

“My place or yours?”

August 16th. Doubts are settling into your mind. The weird behavior doesn’t change. You haven’t even really met his friends, and everything you know is from him telling you, or you watching from behind the bar. He keeps shoving you away when he’s near them, and it’s weird.

“Rooster, why haven’t I met your friends?”

He looks like a deer in headlights. You’re lying next to him in bed, cuddled up. “I didn’t know you’d want to meet them?” He chokes out, and you nod, accepting his answer.

If you’d pushed a little harder, maybe it wouldn’t have hurt so much.

August 20th. This time, it was you initiating something. “Get in the car!” You had said, somewhat jokingly, but he did. So, you drove to the beach. The air was salty, and so was the water sliding between your toes, but you couldn’t have asked for anything better. Running across the beach with Rooster. You never needed anything more, just being with him was enough.

August 23rd. He’s dancing with you in your kitchen, pancakes on the stove inevitably burning. It’s the first night he’s slept over, and he tried to surprise you.

“Flip the pancakes!” You laugh when the charred smell finally reaches you. He’s swatting smoke away and you’re opening windows, trying to guide the smoke out. You’re almost choking when he comes over to kiss you.

August 28th. It’s the last real day of it all. He drives to your house to pick you up, and you go to the movie theater. He smiles at you, but it doesn’t feel right. It didn’t feel right. It wasn’t right.

August 31st. He walks into the Hard Deck, 8:15 P.M, and your day instantly brightens. “Two beers, please.” He says to Penny.

His arm is back to being around her.

It was all a lie.
