hey, not a stupid question at all, i had this exact issue when the update first came out. what was messing it up for me was simshenko’s physique slider, once i removed that from my game the options came back. if you haven’t got that though, not sure what it could be, sorry!

What's your favourite Sims death?
I usually don't kill my sims, but long time ago I had a family of weirdos for a silly gameplay. One of them was killed by a meteor. That's something that could totally happen to me.

Alpha! But MM in rare TS4 sessions.
Do you cheat your sims weight?
Nope, never did, never will.
Do you use move objects?
Of course! I use it for moving around sims for photoshoots and sparingly when decorating.

How has your ''Sims Style'' changed throughout your years of playing?
Omg, let's not talk about "before simblr" era... They were just potatoes with photoskinned clothes (that was the only cc for Sims 3 back then, okay?) Anyway, I always aimed for realistic looks, as close to real people as I could get (sometimes it was getting really obsessive). After I realized I can't make a clone of a real human in Sims, I slowed down and got the today's style. Realistic style with a slightly cartoon touch. At least I think it looks like that, lol.

How has your “sim style” changed throughout your years of playing? when i first started playing the sims, i was obsessed with making the "perfect" sims with "perfect" lives and would aaalways cheat away negative moodlets or never give them "negative" traits ykwim? but now i just go with the flow at whatever the game throws at me lol it's much fun that way :D also it helps to not stress about the things in game too much, it takes the fun out of it :p

As cliché as it sounds old age is my favorite. I love seeing my Sims live long lives and all the other deaths are just kind of sad lmaooo.

When I first started playing the Sims I would play as god controlling every little action and decision of my Sims, but that got very repetitive and boring. Now I play more wants based and I have the autonomy very high so my sims are free to do and be who they want. It has made playing the game so much more enjoyable. let the randomizer button be your bestie people!!

23. How long have you had a simblr? 11 years! Yep. I was just never active, always lurking and downloading CC. For the longest time I believed I could never learn how to convert stuff because it was too complicated until one day I decided to give it a go and never give up learning and improving.

i went from playing families only for 2-3 generations, then i was playing a lot with pets breeding, once i had family with 5 generations but lost ineterest in it, then i created mentioned earlier Annabelle and my playing was based on scenarios and setting sims in poses to make stories, now i still play Annabelle's family but it's more chilled gameplay, based on sims wants and what the game itself will bring to me (as you can see on my simblr😊)

🎵 - okay this one is so hard for me cause i listen to so much music i feel like my faves change too much. my go to artists are: sleep token, hozier, chevelle, deftones, melanie martinez, the 1975, florence + the machine, pierce the veil, harry styles, and noah kahan. honestly that doesnt even feel like them all but alas we move on
🔥 - im going to avoid trauma dumping and pick something crazy that didnt happen to me but i witnessed it. so last summer my gf went on vacation with my family and we went to six flags in georgia. we got on this huge rollercoaster and all of a sudden fucking coins start flying at our heads like a lot of coins. we're all ducking and when the ride is finally over my gf goes "omg guys i think something hit me lol" and i turn and look at her and her head is drenched in blood and i start fucking panicking. it was so insane she had to get stitches cause her head was cut wide open, but we did get free tickets. in fact we ended up going to six flags for our anniversary like a month later lmao (way too long of a story omg im sorry)
🫐 - id love to visit scotland or ireland, but in the us i want to visit oregon so badly! i need to be amongst the trees.
🖊️ - honestly i dont think i could ever write for konig, simply because i feel like i could not do him justice like im not about to embarass myself with shitty german translations. i already felt so awkward writing for valeria and i know spanish
🍀 - okay you can laugh at this but my comfort show is ncis. i thought it was so stupid at first but then i started watching and was like wait... i kinda love this. its my comfort show becasue its so predicatble, there's always some crime to get solved and you can just put it on in the background and not have to pay much attention to it. also ofc there is a love story in there between two of the agents and it hits for me every time. if i was 17 and you asked me, vampire diaries would be my comfort show simply because i am obsessed with vampires and romance.

wasn't tagged by anyone in particular, but @loafysims and @ravensccfindss both mentioned me in this tag recently so i thought i'd give it a shot. also my need for attention is a bottomless pit so.
1.) What’s your favourite sims death?
honestly, the classic, putting a sim in a pool and then taking out the ladder. theres no common sense to the action it's just genuinely so funny.
2.) Alpha CC or Maxis Match?
technically im maxis mix, but i tend to lean very hard to maxis match clothing.
3.) Do you cheat when your sims gain weight?
no not really. if i want them to loose weight i'll have them work out
4.) Do you use move objects?
if you dont use moveobjects, i think legally we can consider you clinically insane.
5.) Favorite mod?
this is so hard... ummmmm, probably like better build buy. i spend a good amount of time in build mode and use debug/live edit objects a ton when i build, so it's pretty useful.

i think it was get to work, i even bought it in a physical case thingy and i still have it lying around somewhere. (as well as seasons.)

1. what’s your favourite sims death? umm maybe death by chickens, idk why it’s just so silly to me
2. alpha or maxis match cc? i would probably say i’m more of a maxis match girly personally, but i like maxis mix too !
3. do you cheat when your sims gain weight? i don’t do enough gameplay honestly 😭
4. do you use move objects? yes i literally cannot decorate without it because i use so much clutter!
5. favourite mod? ummm, bc i’m like mostly a cas player probably more cas columns? and pose/teleport mod for ingame screenshots and edits
6. first expansion/game/stuff pack you got? cats and dogs it came with my sims game my bf got it for me!! (if i remember it was like a bundle in the summer sale on steam and for the base game and cats and dogs it was £15?)
7. do you pronounce live mode like aLIVE or LIVing? LIVing
8. who’s your favourite sim that you’ve made? honestly? elvene. i love her so much and she was obviously a dnd character before she was a sim but just i really love how she looks and i just love spinning her around in cas

10. what sims traits would you give yourself? CLUMSY 1000% and, animal enthusiast and gloomy
11. which is your favourite ea hair colour? uhhh there’s a few i like, i really like dark brown swatches, the lighter orange swatch (the one which is more bright) and the like peachy blonde colour

13. favourite life stage? i love infants bc they’re so easy to make and they’re so tiny and cute!! also young adults bc im a cas simmer so i tend to only make ya sims

15. are you a cc creator? i am not, however i did create the frognsie which is just a recolour but i feel like it’s a part of my legacy now
16. do you have any simblr friends/a sim squad? i have a few really good friends from simblr🫶but im always open to meeting new people im just scared of messaging people for the first time

20. how has your “sim style” changed throughout the years of playing? i would mainly say it’s become more maxis matchified (left old sim style, right new sim style)

22. who’s your favourite cc creator? omg i couldn’t choose just one, but defo squea for skin overlay and eyes, simandy for hair, trillyke or jellymoo for clothes and so many others i could literally go on forever <33
23. how long have you had a simblr? i think since the start of last year even thou it feels like longer i actually haven’t been on simblr for that long surprisingly
24. how do you edit your pictures? badly😭 um no i usually use photopea and then i edit the lighting using clipdrop, nothing fancy (mainly bc i can’t afford photoshop)
25. what expansion/game/stuff pack has been your favourite so far?? cottage living. i don’t know how i could live without henford on bagley in my game i take most of my ingame screenshots there. also i love the animals that come with it and just the build items and cas is all so cute!!
26. what expansion/game/stuff pack do you want them to make next? i think the pack i want the most is fairies or some kinda woodland/elvish pack because i’m obsessed with that kinda stuff

1. What’s your favorite sims death? I guess I’ll have to go with starvation because when a Sim would die in my game, it would be because of starvation...Lol!
2. Alpha CC or Maxis Match? I would have to say both. But I’m a sucker for alpha CC.
3. Do you cheat when your sims gain weight? I try not to. In TS2, all the time! Lmao! but now I let them work out at home or at the gym.
4. Do you use move objects? It is a must! That is the first thing I turn on when I’m playing.
5. Favorite mod? I have quite a few fav mods so I can’t choose just one.
6. First expansion/game/stuff pack you got? I literally got each expansion pack and etc as they were released.
7. Do you pronounce “live mode” like aLIVE or LIVing? Just Live Mod.
8. Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made? I’ve made so many damn Sims...Lol! I would have to say my Sim Raquel.
9. Have you made a simself? I only attempted this in TS2 and that Sim looked nothing like me...CTFU!
10. What sim traits do you give yourself? Love the outdoors, Kinda Neat, Adventurous, Family Oriented and Music Lover.

24. How do you edit your pictures? I just be wanting to post my gameplay pics so I don’t really go through editing much. I would splash a lil color here and there sometimes.
25. What expansion/game/stuff pack is your favorite so far? My fav would have to be Get To Work and Growing Together.
26. What expansion/game/stuff pack do you want next? I can’t say this enough but OPEN HOODS/LOTS with a THEME PARK! Or bring back the CONCERTS! we really could use that for our game because that loading screen when your Sim go right in front of their house or any venue... is doing too much.

1. What’s your favourite sims death? Omg. Ummm, is it cheating to say old age? I like the satisfaction of knowing i got that sim thru LIFE. But cardiac explosion is also a good one.
2. Alpha CC or Maxis Match? for ts4, def mostly maxis match, but i'm not like, super strict? something looks good i download it 😂 which is a problem.
3. Do you cheat when your sims gain weight? no??? i did take away sim ed's massive bulging muscles he got from too many autonomous workouts once, tho.

5. Favorite mod? probably MCCC. it does So Much.

20. How has your “sim style” changed throughout your years of playing? in ts2 it was very grunge/neon, and that's harder to find for ts4, imho, and i rly miss that! so i guess my ts4 style is less..... alternative? which is a bummer tbh.

Photoshop! if they're for tumblr i crop them to 800x500, use this psd (that i've edited slightly by adding some vibrance) and then finish it with a super old sharpening action of pooklet's 😂 if i'm making gifs or graphics i switch up psds/etc but that's my go-to editing technique.
25. What expansion/game/stuff pack do you want next? i dont want ANY more fuckin sims 4 packs i am so sick of updating my game just let it DIE. tbh.
26. What expansion/game/stuff pack is your favorite so far? god idek, there are like 239483209483209 dlcs for ts4, it's hard to pick an overall fav. 🤣

omg hi! thank you so much! and thank you for setting up the ask game in the first place, the questions are so much fun!
7. How do you create/style your sims in CAS?
honestly, i tend to hit the randomise button until i get a base sim i sort of like, and then rely heavily on presets agfdsasdf. my sims definitely have same-face syndrome though, so i'm trying to get more creative with my sim style!
28. How do you choose your sims’ traits, aspiration, and/or career?
Ooooh, so, this is mainly why I started doing gameplay challenges, because i'd find i ALWAYS use the same kinda traits and career choices. Following generational goals or rules has been a lifesaver for making my gameplay and sims more interesting and varied!
29. What gameplay/CAS/BB feature would you like to see added/changed in the game?
i could probably write a list 5 gazillion miles long asdfghhgfds but 100% the ability to 'lock' certain accessories and/or make up, or have them carry over to all outfits. i get so annoyed having to re-add the same pair of glasses or earrings or make up choices for each outfit category asdfghhgfd
