unpopular opinion: while I do see the appeal of the darkholme and magneto family dynamics, I can't help but feel like lorna, pietro, wanda and kurt's adoptive or foster families, the ones that actually raised them, have been pushed aside and deemed unimportant. you can't tell me the fandom or the writers have ever put as much focus on margali's relationship with kurt as they did for the one he has with mystique or the one the twin had with django and marya compared to magneto

It's interesting because you would think the reason why they weren't bought up as much is because the main members of the Magneto and Darkhole family are superpowered but then Kurt's adoptive mother and sister are super powered too....

I'm a little guilty of neglecting them too but I do think Kurt's adoptive family is badass. I think with Kurt's family the problem is the whole making Amanda and Jimaine the same person for some fucking reason and that makes fans as a whole less interested in that family.

Weren't Django and Marya related to Magda? like one of them was her sibling? I feel like they should be bought up more often.

Lorna's adoptive family I don't even know much about really.
