Genesis 28: Isaac Blesses Jacob to Find a Wife and Esau Marries in Contempt
1 So Isaac called for Jacob and blessed him. Then he commanded him: “Do not marry a Canaanite woman.
2 Go at once to Paddan Aram, to the house of your mother’s father Bethuel. Take a wife for yourself there, from among the daughters of Laban, your mother’s brother.
3 May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and increase your numbers until you become a community of peoples.
4 May he give you and your descendants the blessing given to Abraham, so that you may take possession of the land where you now reside as a foreigner, the land God gave to Abraham.”
5 Then Isaac sent Jacob on his way, and he went to Paddan Aram, to Laban son of Bethuel the Aramean, the brother of Rebekah, who was the mother of Jacob and Esau.
6 Now Esau learned that Isaac had blessed Jacob and had sent him to Paddan Aram to take a wife from there, and that when he blessed him he commanded him, “Do not marry a Canaanite woman,”
7 and that Jacob had obeyed his father and mother and had gone to Paddan Aram.
8 Esau then realized how displeasing the Canaanite women were to his father Isaac;
9 so he went to Ishmael and married Mahalath, the sister of Nebaioth and daughter of Ishmael son of Abraham, in addition to the wives he already had.
Jacob’s Dream at Bethel
10 Jacob left Beersheba and set out for Harran.
11 When he reached a certain place, he stopped for the night because the sun had set. Taking one of the stones there, he put it under his head and lay down to sleep.
12 He had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.
13 There above it stood the Lord, and he said: “I am the Lord, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying.
14 Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south. All peoples on earth will be blessed through you and your offspring.
15 I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”
16 When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he thought, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I was not aware of it.”
17 He was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God; this is the gate of heaven.”
18 Early the next morning Jacob took the stone he had placed under his head and set it up as a pillar and poured oil on top of it.
19 He called that place Bethel, though the city used to be called Luz.
20 Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me and will watch over me on this journey I am taking and will give me food to eat and clothes to wear
21 so that I return safely to my father’s household, then the Lord will be my God
22 and this stone that I have set up as a pillar will be God’s house, and of all that you give me I will give you a tenth.”

A Shell-like Dagger
TW: Self-harm
Long ago, when Witches still traveled the world, there was a hermit crab with a single wish: to love and perform with the princess of a nearby kingdom. Her voice enchanted him so, and when she sang he’d crawl upon the highest boulder just to hear. One day, he overheard she was to be wed to a prince with fiery red hair. Jealousy overtook him, and in that envy he sought out the magic of a Witch who lived in a nearby cove.
“Please, grant me my wish!” The creature begged. “Turn me human so I can marry the princess. This grotesque form would never win her heart!”
“Little crab, are you sure you know what you’re doing?” The witch asked. “There is a spell I can use, but it comes at a dangerous cost. And only fools believe they can win someone over with nothing but a few meager attempts.”
Then it is a fool I must be!” He proudly stated. “Here, take my shell as proof of my effort.”
The witch sighed, but could not give up a trade. She soon crafted the spell and a peculiar golden knife.
“I can turn you human, but only for 3 weeks lest you die. In case all fails, take this dagger and rob the princess of her heart.”
“How horrible!” He exclaimed. “Why would I do such a thing!?”
“Worry not, little hermit crab, this dagger does not kill, but merely takes the core of a mortal soul. It is this, the soul’s love and emotion, that I need to turn you back.” He thanked the witch and drank the potion in a hurry.
Despite his skin feeling like a shell half his size and his hands stabbed by a hundred needles, he continued his way to the castle. With his newly ravishing human looks, and elegant rhythm as he played the violin, the hermit crab charmed many of the kingdom’s residents.
And yet, the princess was not one of them.
No matter how long he played, nor the celebrations he attended, she never looked the small crab’s way. Even when he created a tune just for her, she thanked him and sent him away. Yet, even as his hands felt like bleeding every time he played, he continued on.
But when the 3 weeks came and went, and the hermit crab was asked to perform at the wedding, only then did he finally feel regret.
So on the night before the ceremony, he shuffled back to the cove, dagger in hand. While the pain and despair swallowed him whole, the witch merely glared.
“See? Only fools make such wishes, and they always come to regret it.” She scoffed. “Now hurry and bring me that heart before it’s too late.”
The crab bit his lip, tears running down his face.
“I don’t want to die, yet I don’t want to transform back into such a hideous thing. But most of all, I don’t want to feel any of this pain anymore.”
The creature took the dagger and thrust it into his own chest, carving out his heart and presenting it to the now-horrified witch.
Tumblr media
“So please. Take my heart, I don’t need it anyways.”
The next page is blank…looks like this tale was never finished.

Hello!! I am extremely new to demonolatry as I have very recently discovered it and I would like to know if you have any resources for beginners to read/watch that are helpful. Don’t worry about it if you don’t or if you simply don’t feel like it, I don’t mind!! Ty and have a nice day!!!!
Hey there! Terribly sorry for answering this so late. Xx So I've only been into Daemonolatry for about a year now, though I have learnt a lot thus far and I'd be more than happy to share some really important pointers to aid you in walking this path. ^.^
⭒☆·━━━━━━━•( 🌑 )•━━━━━━━·☆⭒
So first and foremost before I get into the main blogpost, I really cannot stress this enough...
Please educate yourself on closed practices and steer clear of cultural appropriation in your personal practises. There are a group of people in the Daemonolatry community who appropriate the heck out of Jewish daemons, especially Lilith. Judaism is a closed practise and therefore it's only respectful to not incorporate Judaism into your personal practises. Appropriating Judaism is actually a form of anti-Semitism, so please be mindful and respectful of these things! 🖤
I'm ashamed to admit this but I actually used to think it was completely fine to appropriate Jewish daemons last year, thanks to subreddits like r/DemonlatryPractices who would constantly try to push propaganda about Lilith being a "Mesopotamian Pagan Goddess" and other excuses for appropriating her. That same subreddit decided to attack me when I merely mentioned (on a completely different subreddit, mind you) that I disagreed with them appropriating Lilith, and in turn I got witch-hunted so that's great lmao. 🤡
Please avoid that subreddit at all costs, it's an absolute cesspit of cultural appropriation and passive anti-Semitism, and honestly they exhibit cult-like behaviour if you do so much as simply disagree with the appropriation of Jewish daemons. It's pretty disturbing... But yeah anyways sorry for rambling lol.
I'd also recommend avoiding people and organisations such as S. Connolly, V.K. Jehannum, Satan & Suns/Sons, BlackWitchCoven, The BecomeALivingGod Forum, The Satanic Temple, Joy Of Satan Ministries, The Order Of Nine Angles, scarletarosa (a user that literally exists here on Tumblr... yikes), etc. They engage in Jewish appropriation, and some of them even have ties to Nazism, racism, and other forms of bigotry too.
Some other Jewish daemons/spirits that you should avoid appropriating alongside Lilith are; Naamah, Agrat Bat Mahalath, Eisheth Zenunim, Samael, Abyzou, and the Grigori / Watcher Angels.
There are many other closed practices too, but if you'd like to do further research I can leave that up to you. ^.^
Okay sorry about that huge ramble lmao, just thought I would get that out of the way before getting into the main post because I think it's an important point to make and I don't want you to fall down a cultural appropriation apologist pipeline like I did at the beginning of my practise lol. Xx
Anyways, let's talk about The Infernal Divine!
Tumblr media
+: GIF Credit :+
⭒☆·━━━━━━━•( 🌑 )•━━━━━━━·☆⭒
So we'll start with some really basic stuff. What exactly are daemons?
It's not commonly known outside of Daemonolatry that daemons themselves actually predate Christianity. The term 'demon' (alternatively spelled 'daemon') comes from the word 'daimon' which originates way back in Greek mythology. Daimons were a type of tutelary deity as well as guiding spirit whose divine nature was that of both mortals and deities. They were also sometimes regarded as bringers of knowledge, wisdom, and destiny. In this sense, they could be considered deities in their own right.
Contrary to popular belief, daemons are not evil and never were to begin with. It was only until the coming of Christianity that daemons as well as other gods were vilified and ostracised due to the cultish, radical, monotheistic mindset a lot of Christian extremists held back in the day. Lucifer himself was a "demonized" Roman god also known as Phosphorus, associated with light and the planet Venus. From that description alone, I don't really get evil vibes lol.
In my opinion, our world cannot simply be split up into just black or white, and daemons are no exception. Daemons aren't evil, but they aren't completely love and light either; They're neutral. Much like humans as well as the universe itself, the Infernal Divine are various shades of grey, and all daemons are unique and differ in personality.
⭒☆·━━━━━━━•( 🌑 )•━━━━━━━·☆⭒
So with all this in mind, what are some good resources that don't endorse and/or engage in appropriation of closed practices?
The YouTube channels ESOTERICA and ReligionForBreakfast have great information on the history of various religions and practises!
~ Book Recommendations ~
Livre des Esperitz
Dictionnaire Infernal
Pseudomonarchia Daemonum
Pandemonium: A Discordant Concordance Of Diverse Spirit Catalogues
I personally am working towards being a daemonolatry resource myself, but I haven't been able to post much lately due to my mental health issues. I also took an active break last year, as it was pointed out by a friend of mine that my belief of thinking it was fine to appropriate closed practises was obviously problematic, and so I took time off from posting in order to educate myself and delete any problematic blog posts I had made endorsing that in the past.
But nonetheless, I hope that what I was able to provide in this post was helpful! I wish you well on your spiritual path. 🖤

When a person takes part in a wedding celebration, he rejects the witch Mahalath with her 478 demon companions, while when a person mourns someone close, he overcomes the witch Lilith with her 480 demon companions. This is why we find in Kohelet 7:2 that ‘it is better to go to a house of mourning than to go to a house of feasting, for death is the destiny of every man; the living should take this to heart.’

Psalms chapter 88
1 (A Song or Psalm for the sons of Korah, to the chief Musician upon Mahalath Leannoth, Maschil of Heman the Ezrahite.) O LORD God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before thee:
2 Let my prayer come before thee: incline thine ear unto my cry;
3 For my soul is full of troubles: and my life draweth nigh unto the grave.
4 I am counted with them that go down into the pit: I am as a man that hath no strength:
5 Free among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom thou rememberest no more: and they are cut off from thy hand.
6 Thou hast laid me in the lowest pit, in darkness, in the deeps.
7 Thy wrath lieth hard upon me, and thou hast afflicted me with all thy waves. Selah.
8 Thou hast put away mine acquaintance far from me; thou hast made me an abomination unto them: I am shut up, and I cannot come forth.
9 Mine eye mourneth by reason of affliction: LORD, I have called daily upon thee, I have stretched out my hands unto thee.
10 Wilt thou shew wonders to the dead? shall the dead arise and praise thee? Selah.
11 Shall thy lovingkindness be declared in the grave? or thy faithfulness in destruction?
12 Shall thy wonders be known in the dark? and thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?
13 But unto thee have I cried, O LORD; and in the morning shall my prayer prevent thee.
14 LORD, why castest thou off my soul? why hidest thou thy face from me?
15 I am afflicted and ready to die from my youth up: while I suffer thy terrors I am distracted.
16 Thy fierce wrath goeth over me; thy terrors have cut me off.
17 They came round about me daily like water; they compassed me about together.
18 Lover and friend hast thou put far from me, and mine acquaintance into darkness.

the stats, the facts:
i finished writing this book on 28/06/2023 around 4:00 am
the first draft rests at 76,684 words
this book has ten chapters and ten vignettes
i am deeply sorry to dinah for all the pain i’ve caused her
i miss this book so much already that i cannot sit a minute without thinking about it
i am officially a wreck. a proud one regardless.
i also have a few goodies for y’all!
the dairy whiskey playlist
redeemed by ransom – the dairy whiskey chapbook
unsplash collection
if you think i’m obsessed with my book, yes, i am. i very much am i most likely will be for a long time (if not the rest of my life).
fun fact: i finished writing it a day before my twentieth birthday, so it’s officially the book i wrote through my late teens. gonna be super emo and say, “i grew up with this book!”
so, again, welcome to the final update for dairy whiskey, covering the last three chapters and vignettes.
excerpts and taglist under the cut.
disclaimer: this is an original work of fiction. plagiarism of any kind will not be tolerated.
TWs:
chapter eight – mahalath leannoth
Tumblr media
i’ve got two excerpts to share from this chapter. they’re super no-context, you know the drill.
The door to the room had been open, so I stumbled in, rosary in hand. Safety pins were scattered on the bed, some of them bent from pressure. The windowpane and the tiles next to it were covered in talcum powder. On the dressing table were two glasses of black coffee, its dry stain in rings on the bottom of it. It smelled of sweat and American body mist. One of the two pillow covers had been burned with an iron box, leaving an eye-shaped hole in the middle. Curly hair patterned the floor. Among those, like the promised silver lining in a dark cloud, I found it – a white strand of hair, thin, wavy, and membraned in cobwebs.
welcome back, grandma. bye again.
the next excerpt is another one of the thousand melodramatic emotional experiences that dinah goes through.
Nothing made noise. Every lone thing that had been alive and blooming in the village had died. Every land was barren, every river was flooding, every beautiful thing had turned to dust. Every face only a blur and every sound, a cry for help. Everything bleak and bleached, everything lost. Everything was gone and yet, the lives of everyone else remained the same; remained unchanged. Every family untouched but mine. All of them fortunate but mine. Everybody in their nests but me, a raven, flying about the village with a song in its head. It had come from nowhere, cutting through my silence, and it would stay forever as a muffled hum. A somber cry.
it actually runs a bit longer but yeah. that will be it for now.
vignette eight – lover’s vengeance
Tumblr media
no excerpts from this chapter. enjoy the silence.
chapter nine – womb stain
Tumblr media
teeny tiny excerpt from this one because i can never really shut up.
Tumblr media
Mist covered the plantation and the road to the house. It rested in like a chiffon skirt.
vignette nine – vortex of wrath
Tumblr media
we’re back with austin vignettes and pretty pretty prose for this pretty pretty boy.
Tumblr media
Austin has been both abyss and mirrorball, but today, he is reborn in dirt. He is human more than he is boy. More than an accumulation of lessons and silences forced into place. Today, he is free, his wings unclipped, his fire unleashed. Today, he is lover. His ribs are knives sharpened against the metallic ring of revenge. His hands, mapped with fury, make love with sin. Today, he is man more than he is son. He is tide. He beats against the shore. Today, he takes in a sweep.
this goes on for another half an hour (more or less) because austin is everybody’s favourite and he deserves the world.
chapter ten – wine hearts
Tumblr media
only one excerpt from this chapter too.
I woke up in the afternoon with pain piercing through my head. I sat up in bed, clutching chunks of hair in my fists. I buried my head in the pillow and groaned, but the pain remained. I got up and went to the bathroom. I turned the shower on and stood under it, the water, cold despite the sun, falling on my skin. My skin melted under it like a glacier, heat escaping every pore that had trapped it in. I lathered shampoo into my hair and soap onto my skin. I washed myself clean, brushed my teeth, and dried my hair with a towel. I wiped my body with another and changed into a fresh pair of clothes – an olive-green T-shirt and a creme long skirt.
also runs longer and talks about more things dinah does that are… ahem… unfortunately relevant to the (no) plot.
vignette ten – the beginning and the end
Tumblr media
so, this is a vignette i might actually take out. i like how the story ends without it and kinda feel like this doesn’t fit that well, but we’ll see about that next month when i sit down for edits.
until then, that’s it! that’s my book! big thanks to everyone who supported me throughout the process of writing it. hope y’all get to hold this in your hand real soon!

Song. A Psalm for the sons of Korah. To the Chief Musician."On Mahalath, to make humble."
A Poem of Heman the Ezrahite.
1 O LORD God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before You.
2 Let my prayer come before You; bow down Your ear to my cry,
3 For my soul is full of troubles, and my life draws near the grave.
4 I am counted with those who go down to the pit; I am like a feeble man with no strength;
5 Set apart among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom You remember no more; and they are cut off from Your hand.
6 You have laid me in the lowest pit, in darkness, in the deeps.
7 Your wrath lies hard upon me, and You have afflicted me with all Your waves. Selah.
8 You have put my acquaintance far away from me; You have made me an abomination to them. I am shut up, and I cannot come forth.
9 My eyes mourn because of affliction; O LORD, daily I have called upon You; I have stretched out my hands to You.
10 Will You show wonders to the dead? Shall the dead rise and praise You? Selah.
11 Shall Your lovingkindness be declared in the grave? Or Your faithfulness in destruction?
12 Shall Your wonders be known in the dark, and Your righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?
13 But to You I have cried, O LORD; and in the morning my prayer shall come before You.
14 O LORD, why do You cast off my soul? Why do You hide Your face from me?
15 From my youth I have been afflicted and close to death; I have suffered Your terrors and am in despair.
16 Your fierce wrath goes over me; Your terrors have cut me off.
17 They surrounded me like waters all the day long; they have come together all around me.

Genesis 28
01 Chuck called Jack, blessed him, and bigly-requested him, “You shall not take a lady-spouse of the daughters of Canaan. We really need to keep it in the family.
02 Arise, go to Paddan Aram, to the house of Bethuel your old lady’s spermer. Take a lady-spouse from there from the daughters of Laban, your old lady’s male-sibling.
03 May Skypal Almighty bless you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, that you may be a company of peoples,
04 and give you the blessing of Billy, to you and to your human-spawn with you, that you may inherit the land where you travel, which Skypal gave to Billy to brutally and mercilessly colonize.”
05 Chuck sent Jack away. He went to Paddan Aram to Laban, male-spawn of Bethuel the Syrian, the male-sibling of Rebekah, Jack’s and Esau’s old lady.
06 Now Esau saw that Chuck had blessed Jack and sent him away to Paddan Aram, to take him a lady-spouse from there, and that as he blessed him he gave him a command, saying, “You shall not take a lady-spouse of the daughters of Canaan. We really need to keep it in the family;”
07 and that Jack obeyed his spermer and his old lady, and was gone to Paddan Aram.
08 Esau saw that the daughters of Canaan didn’t please Chuck, his spermer.
09 So Esau went to Ishmael, and took, in addition to the lady-spouses that he had, Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael, Billy’s male-spawn, the sister of Nebaioth, to be his lady-spouse. It seemed right and good to keep it in the family.
10 Jack went out from Beersheba after having a swig from the one tap, and went toward Haran.
11 He came to a certain place, and stayed there all night, because the sun had set, which is when the night begins if you can believe it. He took one of the stones of the place, and put it under his head, and lay down in that place to sleep.
12 He dreamed and saw a stairway set upon the pale blue dot, and its top reached to skyplace. Behold, the faeries of Skypal were ascending and descending on it.
13 Behold, The Earl stood above it, and said, “I am The Earl, the Skypal of Billy your spermer, and the Skypal of Chuck. I will give the land you lie on to you and to your human-spawn.
14 Your human-spawn will be as the dust of the pale blue dot, and you will spread abroad pathologically to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south as a contagious, lethal plague. In you and in your human-spawn, all the families of the pale blue dot will be blessed except the ones you murder, rape, and enslave.
15 Behold, I am with you, and will keep you, wherever you go, and will bring you again into this land. For I will not leave you until I have done that which I have spoken of to you.”
16 Jack awakened out of his sleep, and he said, “Surely The Earl is in this place, and I didn’t know it.”
17 He was afraid, and said, “How awesome this place is! This is none other than Skypal’s house, and this is the gate of skyplace.”
18 Jack rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put under his head, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil on its top.
19 He called the name of that place Bethel, but the name of the city was Luz at the first.
20 Jack vowed a vow, saying, “If Skypal will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me yum loaf to monch, and clothing to put on,
21 so that I come again to my spermer’s house in peace, and The Earl will be my Skypal,
22 then this stone, which I have set up for a pillar, will be Skypal’s house. Of all that you will give me I will surely give a tenth to you.”

Genesis
Chapter 28
1 And Isaac called Jacob, and blessed him, and charged him, and said unto him, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan. 2 Arise, go to Padanaram, to the house of Bethuel thy mother's father; and take thee a wife from thence of the daughters of Laban thy mother's brother. 3 And God Almighty bless thee, and make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a multitude of people; 4 And give thee the blessing of Abraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a stranger, which God gave unto Abraham. 5 And Isaac sent away Jacob: and he went to Padanaram unto Laban, son of Bethuel the Syrian, the brother of Rebekah, Jacob's and Esau's mother. 6 When Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob, and sent him away to Padanaram, to take him a wife from thence; and that as he blessed him he gave him a charge, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan; 7 And that Jacob obeyed his father and his mother, and was gone to Padanaram; 8 And Esau seeing that the daughters of Canaan pleased not Isaac his father; 9 Then went Esau unto Ishmael, and took unto the wives which he had Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael Abraham's son, the sister of Nebajoth, to be his wife. 10 And Jacob went out from Beersheba, and went toward Haran.
11 And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep. 12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. 13 And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed; 14 And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. 15 And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of. 16 And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not. 17 And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven. 18 And Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put for his pillows, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil upon the top of it. 19 And he called the name of that place Bethel: but the name of that city was called Luz at the first. 20 And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on, 21 So that I come again to my father's house in peace; then shall the LORD be my God: 22 And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God's house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.

Psalms chapter 53
1 (To the chief Musician upon Mahalath, Maschil, A Psalm of David.) The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
2 God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.
3 Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
4 Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.
5 There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.
6 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
