A Canadian city's mayor and Hon. Member of Provincial Parliament joined Vishwa Jagriti Mission, Canada chapter in Brampton, Canada.

Shraddha Parv is a social festival of retrieving the lost prestige of parents & senior citizens.  Revered Maharajshri & Dr. Archika idi ji felt the pain of this neglected segment of society, and made a concerted effort to revive the noble Indian traditions of obedience and service to parents, noble and senior citizens. Since 1997 the Mission has been observing this Parva continuously on 2nd October in all of its units (Mandals). And is given the name of Seva Parva or Shraddha Parv. Some distinguished parents and senior citizens are also honoured on this day at national level and conferred titles such as Rashtra-Ratna. So far more than 200 dignitaries have been honoured.
