both a benefit and the biggest flaw of photography is that if you make a print that is essentially just an original. Which is great that you can reproduce your work infinitely at its maximum quality and everyone can have access to it. However, big artists just aren't going to release affordable prints of their work because of this exact same thing. Theres a lot of painters and print makers you can find that sell affordable reproductions but almost no big name photographers have their work up for sale like that. Its all limited editions 1/100 sort of stuff and it all costs thousands of dollars per print. I get it, art is expensive and we need money to survive but as a photographer myself it sucks so bad that i can't afford prints of my biggest inspirations work even though it would be so easy to set up for them.

PSA on second hand shopping
more people need to shop at thrift stores, rummage sales, estate sales, consignment, flea markets, and the like. I don't care if you can afford new stuff, if you think it's dirty, if you don't feel like spending the time sifting through things you don't want. fast fashion and other quick moving industries are killing us.
so many thrift shops are begging people to buy more, and they have to stop taking donations for a while. a lot of rummage sale sellers will throw out what they don't sell by the end of the weekend, and they can negotiate and give you deals..
even if you don't want clothes, chances are you will find something you needed anyways, or find something you didn't know you needed. I promise you can find time in your hurried schedule to make a weekend out of rummage saling, and it's so much more fun then taking a minute to add a new shirt to your cart on amazon.
and while you're at it, set up a rummage sale of your own if you can, even in favor of listing it online. there's people in your community who will take a weekend to check it out, and those people are often in need of cheaper options for things like clothes, shoes, kitchenware, etc.
and please for the love of god if am item is still in working condition, use it as long as possible, or give it/sell it away if you must. do not throw away perfectly good items.
buying second hand saves the earth

hi love
School starts in almost two weeks. I need new clothes, but I can't ask my parents so I don't know how.unfortunately this summer I didn't do anything and I didn't look for a job and now I regret it a lot, because I don't know how to do it, I can't afford anything I want. what can i do in your opinion? (if that's a way) Maybe I was also thinking of a job to do during school too, but I don't know what and, if there was, I don't know if I'd make it over time .
Hi love! Well, if you've grown out of your clothes or they're too worn in to wear to school, your parents are essentially obligated to properly clothe you. However, if you want new clothes as a way to update your closet for the new school year (still me to this day at 25, lol), I would suggest asking your parents if you can do a few odd jobs around the house/make some calls to schedule appointments, etc. for a little extra cash. You can also walk dogs, babysit, tutor, etc. if you want to incorporate a small side hustle into your schedule. If you're seeking a wardrobe refresh, also consider donating or reselling some of your old clothes, shoes, accessories, etc. on sites like Poshmark or eBay.
If you're purely seeking new clothes over the next couple of weeks, consider swapping some pieces with your friends to style them differently if they're around your size, have a similar sense of style, and will be diligent about properly washing/giving back your clothes after wearing them (had this issue so many times in high school, I know it's not always a great option for this reason).
Getting a job to earn a little extra money or learn the responsibilities of working in the "real world" is a great opportunity. However, it can be overwhelming when completing your studies. I would see if you could potentially work in a clothing store on the weekends or something similar, so you can earn a bit of cash and likely get a discount on some of the items you want.
Hope this helps xx

turning on taylor and blaming her for things she had no say or control over solves nothing and takes the attention away from the actual monopoly that fucked you all over just to maximise profits on a tour that was gonna be record breaking anyway.
taylor doesn't handle the logistics for her tours, and even if she was deeply involved in the technicalities of tour she still has no control over how ticketmaster deals with its own logistics or an option to not work with them. even if she wanted to give her fans the best experience possible she still can't control what ticketmaster does, nor how presale is handled.
