Meet Manae !

Manae is a 32 year old human woman who’s obsessed with plants and nature. She feels very lonely now and she hopes to have her chance with Crimson.

Before the pandemic : Manae was born and grew up in Sulani. She doesn’t know her father but she adores her mom, Mana, and her sister Lilyanah more than everything else in the world. Growing up in Sulani made Manae loved nature and she always wanted to protect the earth, that’s probably the main reason why she left Sulani when she was 20 in order to go study in Britchester university, also to discover the world ! Back there, she was a botanist student and decided to devote her life protecting plants. Very friendly, Manae was always the ones making the first move and would never leave you alone until she’d saw a smile on your face. But that was before the pandemic hit ...

Pandemic : Manae is 22 and live with her bestfriend Soukina that she secretly loves but she’s in a boring relationship with her internship partner, Marcus. Manae was working on a study about plants reactions to natural disasters when she noticed that nature was warning the world about the pandemic ... When she noticed that, it was already too late. San Myshuno was already touched and the dead were walking on the streets. Manae discovered that Marcus and Soukina were secretly dating when she discovered their naked walking dead bodies when she managed to arrived at the appartment. The shock to see them dead and then undead, and then to realize that they were together just made her snapped and attacked them. They say that huge cities have a kind of permanent anger in the air, and Manae contained it for 2 years .... She didn’t realized what she was doing until she hit the car that was parcked two floor below her appartment. When she saw her leg, she just managed to hear a voice before fainting. Manae wake up with one of her legs missing. First destroyed, she finds confidence again thanks to the help of Moïra Jefferson, a doctor who saved her and who also made her prostethic.

Moïra is 36, Manae 23 and love appears. The women decide to leave San Myshuno who’s turning into a battlefield between survivors, in order to find a more quiet place to survive and to get closer to Sulani to get back to Manae’s family. They travel through the cities and meet as many foes as future dead friends but both women manage to build themselves a little piece of heaven surrounded by water and metals in the Oasis Spring desert. How do you find water in the desert huh ? Well, thanks to Manae’s bookworm trait who makes her read and learn about everything she hear about, she learned a lot of usefull recycling ressources and can grow her own vegetables/ fruits and weed culture. Heaven can be hard in a post apocalyptic world and one day, Moïra got bitten while gardening . Manae was destroyed, 3 years later.

Post-Apo life : Manae lives alone in Oasis Spring. Her house is more secure than ever, she found a way to built her inside culture and she reads the same books over and over because of missing new ones ... Manae feels super lonely and kind of loose her mind a bit and starts to speak out loud to herself to keep her company. She walks and run just like before her accident and take care of her prosthetic like the apple of her eyes, she loves to cook her vegetables but she feels super lonely. That loneliness developped also a kind of bravery and makes her go around Oasis Spring to hunt possible undead (she has an amazing view of the entire city because she lives under the water tank) with her machete and Moïra’s gun she kept. She still wants to get back to Sulani but she’s just lost ... Now that she heard Crimson’s call and knows that she’s not alone, Manae is more ready than ever to meet her new friends !

Random facts : She has Moïra’s last cigarettes pack and she smokes one cigarette at her birthday (April 3rd). She has 7 bullets for her gun, her machete and a car. She smokes weed daily since she learned how to grow it, it helps her sleep without having nightmares about Moïra and her sister. She looooooves to look fearless and excentric when she hunts, she goes completly wild but only with the undead, otherwise, she’s super nicewith others. Her siser Liliyanah is 8 year younger than her  :)

Crimson: The first night in the shelter was really quiet. The guys were tired and hungry. Everyone deserved to enjoy some peace after the trip and relax. Some of them still had the energy to do some activities. It seems like Michael and Kono are getting along well. Meanwhile, Spike and Casey came over to have some conversation with me. That was really nice.

Vasa: Did you think about me? A little bit?

Vasa: They didn’t see us kissing, but they saw us wanting it.

Crimson: The party was a great success. I enjoyed a lot to see everybody having fun and getting to know each other better.

They seem to feel comfortable being here in the shelter with the others. Everyone was dancing and talking. A really nice feeling, considering the long time we all were alone in the past.

It was a great surprise that Vic decided to sing for us! Wow! As I imagined, his singing was so beautiful!

I met Casey’s gaze several times at the party and I loved that. She is trying - in a very lovely way - to get closer to me. I’m already thinking about asking her for some time alone with me... But not yet. I will wait for the right moment.

Bambie is hot! She confused the hell out of me. She seems to enjoy messing with me and I loved following her game, but I’m not sure if this could be an obstacle to deepen the relationship between us.

I loved how honest Manae was talking to me. I can see she’s hurt because of her past, but she is determined to change that. I’m impressed. Somehow, I feel like we already know each other. I’m excited about spending more time with her.

Give the guys a bonfire and they will be happy. It’s been a very hot summer, but I swear, they love to be around the fire. Don’t mind if it’s a controlled burn or not.

Friendships already sprang up between them, most of them. I miss some faces when we are all together, though...

...And myself: I feel pretty good being around the guys. Now that we got to know each other a little bit better, I feel more comfortable. More familiar. And yes, I also feel very attracted, to some of them. 

I like that they also challenged me to prove my skills... and that I could impress Casey by doing so is just another advantage.
