He already has yanqing, so when he took you in he was already expecting how you were going to be, unless you are the quiet child that just stays in your room like a shut in all the time and somehow won't make a fuss about things. Then he would be a bit worried.

He would try to make time for you even if he can't sometimes because of his general duties. It's either he spends time with you with every ounce of his free time (other than yanqing) or you have no connection to him whatsoever, sure you may look up to him but he's more of a father figure than an actual father.

If you have any interest in fighting then he would also train you personally. Alongside with yanqing you both would do pretty well. He's very proud and he's not afraid to show it.

If you don't have any interest in fighting, then he would understand but will have less time spending time with you due to his life style. But he will try no matter how hard it is

✚ After the events of the Relic, Vanessa had a fairly weak period, watched over by Vik, but still accepted the Crystal Palace mission to save her skin. Although she succeeded, some of the after-effects remain, and she knows she's no longer at the top of her game. She could still kick your ass, but she knows her limits, and knows she can't be as good a merc as she used to be.
