Lamb Of God Announces New Album "Omens" and Tour
The Press Release: LAMB OF GOD follows 2020’s No. 1 Hard Rock Album with a vicious new testament. Riding high on a creative renaissance saluted by the likes of Rolling Stone and NME, the Grammy-nominated goliath returns with the gloriously unhinged Omens, produced by longtime collaborator Josh Wilbur (Korn, Megadeth). The first single, “Nevermore,” arrives on Friday, June 10. Omens follows on…

"It is Rothko's scale that removes any argument over the proportions of one area to another, or over its degree of symmetry or asymmetry. The sum of the parts does not equal the whole; rather, scale is discovered and contained as an image. It is not form that floats the painting, but Rothko's finding that particular scale which suspends all proportions in equilibrium." - Morton Feldman
Mark Rothko looms large over Morton Feldman, rehearsing musicians at The Rothko Chapel for a performance of his composition of the same name. April 9, 1972

It's not Rothko himself, but this is a rare picture that you rarely see. Feldman was good friends with Rothko and the music for the chapel is excellent.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but Kingsman: The Secret Service turns ten years old in 2024.
We should organise some sort of birthday event. I feel old.

To clarify: This is not a case of both universes existing simultaneously. This is an inexplicably-dropped-into-an-entirely-different-universe crossover.
This is not necessarily about which is your favorite character out of these (although it could be. Who am I to tell you what to do here). This is about what would be the most chaotic, the most cursed, the most barely-justifiable plot-wise. The worst, if you will.
And, since there are far more than ten characters I can imagine dumping into the world of Batman and the Justice League with no valid reasoning, there will be more.
A masterlist? On my blog?

Dreams come true •Kingsman Merlin•
Tumblr media
Word count: 400
Type: Fluff
Warning: Non
Paring: Merlin × Oc (description is kept limited name can easily be changed when reading)
Summary: Merlin goes to find Maya when she sneaks away from from a party to think to herself
Tumblr media
"So I've lost Morgana," Eggsy announced as he walked up to Harry and Merlin at the Kingsman gala.
"She's probably hiding away," Merlin said handing his drink off to Harry leaving the large hall.
The corridors were quieter than the hall, Merlin checked where he usually found, Maya, Agent Morgana, when she decided to hide away and think, the gardens.
He went out to the garden found her sat on a low wall in the gardens, a beer bottle next to her, dressed in a bright red formal dress.
"You're a long way from the party, princess," he said.
Maya looked up from the ground smilling. "Yeah, lots people, lot of noise, you know what I'm like," she said.
"Understandable," he said "What were you thinking about?" He asked sitting next to her.
"Do you ever think that your dreams could come true?" She asked as she swung her legs.
"No," he replied quickly. "Why? Do you?"
Maya frowned slightly. "No. . .Just wondering" she said, Merlin nodded. "If you could have a dream come true? What would it be?" She asked.
"Honestly? This is my dream, I've never thought of anything else," he shrugged.
"Absolutely nothing? You've only ever wanted to be a quartermaster? You've got no dream?" She asked.
"Maybe a nice healthy marriage, a dog but yeah Kingsman is all I've ever known, next to the army and Kingsman has a much nicer uniform" he said.
"Do you have other dreams?" He asked her.
"Mhm, I guess, it's dumb." she shrugged.
"What is it?"
"I want to live out in the country, nice little house, a couple of dogs maybe, married to a nice guy, work in a little family bakery," she said.
"I guess a healthy relationship is a dream for every Kingsman," Merlin said taking her drink from the side stealing a sip.
"Expect Eggsy, he got it " Maya shrugged.
"So tell me, who is this perfect dream husband?" He asked.
Maya took her drink back from Merlin taking a long drink of it. "Well he's tall, he dresses well, a little older then me with glasses, bald and a rich thick Scottish accent," she said.
Merlin looked at her surprised. "Me?" He asked.
"Mhm, you occupy alot of my unconscious mind apparently," she said.
Merlin slid off the wall coming to stand infront of her, his hands rested on either side of her.
"What other dreams have I been involved in?" He asked lowly. "A lot of them," she mumbled "Maybe dreams do come true," he said tipping her chin to look up at him, kissing her gently.

I’ve rewatched “Kingsman: The Secret Service” and that’s because after watching “Rocketman” I wanted to see more of Taron Edgerton and rewatching Kingsman movies is just the perfect opportunity. When I just started watching the film, I felt, like I was going to have audial orgasm several times throughout that movie, because almost everybody speaks with such wonderful heavy British accent (different kinds of it, but still). I also laughed so much, because there are so many jokes on so many levels – verbal, visual, just whole concepts. Take the main villain, for example, (Spoilers!) a guy, who wants to make most the humans kill each other, is scared of blood and just is lisping Samuel L Jackson. What’s not funny about him? I’m sorry, but the pug scene is just too funny and sweet. Firstly, because – come on, it’s a pup-pug, secondly, after all, it’s Taron Edgerton with a pup-pug tugged in his uniform because it doesn’t want to run along. The action scenes are just amazing. The fight in the bar, the fight in the church, the finale “battle” – all parts of it. The scene in the church is good not only because of the action, but it was all worth it, only because of this wonderful quote: “I'm a Catholic whore, currently enjoying congress out of wedlock with my black Jewish boyfriend who works at a military abortion clinic. So, hail Satan, and have a lovely afternoon, madam”. I’m going to answer with it to every single bigot on the internet, who tries to attack me and offer you to do the same (boyfriend can be situationally changed into a girlfriend, of course). A few other things I realized while rewatching this film: one of the most badass characters is a disabled Arabian woman and I don’t care if she works for the villain – she’s very cool. Also, Taron Edgerton’s smile is one of the sweetest things I’ve seen in my life.
