Happy 20th Anniversary to Wicked the Musical! This musical will always hold a special place in my heart, ever since I first heard it right before the pandemic hit. Those songs (and YouTube slime tutorials) really helped me through the quarantine and spurred on my love of musicals.

I've gotten to see it on Broadway this summer (Mckenzie Kurtz and Mary Kate Morrissey were absolutely exceptional and I couldn't stop talking about it for days), and I'm going to see it on tour later this week. It's become a comfort musical, especially For Good, whose lyrics I've used in many a card to friends.

It's an absolutely beautiful show, with themes of love and friendship and forgiveness. Here's to another 20 years of defying gravity. 💚🩷
