In the great vastness of the multiverse, there’s  a feeling of fear one can have when traversing through the dark nooks and crannies of many, infinite dimensions. For as long as humanity has existed, they have experienced a primordial feeling of fear, often perpetuated by tales of legendary creatures beyond their wildest imagination…and nightmares. They have weaved such fear into many different stories about what they think is out in the darkness. But, for once a year, these terrors come together to not celebrate their own brand of freakiness, but to also let out a message for the world to hear...

Monsters exist

Come on, come all; The full prompt for my first ever monthly challenge is finally ready! Get ready to experience 31 days of monstrous mayhem, from all over the fictional multiverse! As for why I'm pumping this out now, when we're still in the middle of September? That's easy, I wanted to share this now so that anyone who's interested by this can get a headstart for their art, just in time for when October finally rolls around. Also, be sure to use #Monstober as a part of this challenge.I want to see all of your artistic monstrosites.

Also, a few select days are a bit more expansive than other, that being more than one character being allowed. Lemme explain the works.

(Day 3) Any Ghost or Dark-type Pokemon of your choosing (3 are allowed in the piece. Hex Maniacs and specialists of both types are also allowed)

(Day 4) The Glowkies (Not only are all 3 of the main Glowkies allowed, but so are the Glowkies Bats, Phosphee, and Anglow from Mixels Unite)

(Day 10) The Vampire Twins (Either Susan, Mary, or both of them together are allowed. The Ultraverse designs that I've made for them are also allowed to be used)

(Day 16) Jibanyan (Both his normal and Shadowside designs are allowed) (Day 21)

(Day 21) Punkleton (Both Rare and Epic variants are also allowed)

Tanuki for Monstober

I'm definitely not making all 31 posts so sorry for anyone who wanted to see 31 monster shit posts.

By the way I base this shit post off of the only depiction I've seen of a Tanuki which is from a asmr artist who did a cute like bakadere (I think that's what it was) Also #6 came from me thinking a Tanuki was a squirrel but it's apparently a raccoon, still applies I think.

Why I would date a Tanuki

1. Adorable - It's a raccoon, what's not to love!? Such cute chubby cheeks.

2. Dummy - dumb as a brick and still cute. I love how innocently dumb they would be.

3. Enthusiasm - I lost that emotion in my early teens so it'd be nice to have them be so excited all the time

4. Smol - I can be the big spoon!!!! I am small and I appreciate being the big spoon once in a while. They would be small compared to me.

5. Affection - this ties into enthusiasm but they would be so happily affectionate and they'd appreciate my kisses on their little forehead or cheeks.

6. Protein - Sorry to anyone who hates that I always tie my period to this but also fuck you I wanna complain. There would be an infinite supply of nuts of all kinds and nuts have protein. They're the one thing I don't have trouble keeping down and the protein will help me feel better.

And last but not least

7. Fast - they're fast as fuck boi! I wanna see them run through my backyard as we pick flowers.

Mary's Monstober 2020 - Day 1: Vampires

I wanna date a vampire for several reasons

1. Bites - I'm into that shit

2. Mature about periods - blood is blood and they aren't grossed out by it

3. Goth aesthetic - I need that romanticized darkness

4. Sleepovers - I have a shit sleeping schedule and so do they by nature

5. Eyes - Beautiful eyes guaren-fucking-teed

Mary's Monstober 2020 - Day 2: Shadow demons

I just finished a shit load of work and my family sucks so here's a sacrilegious shit post.

Reasons I date a shadow demon

1. Sacrilegious- My mother is very religious and she would piss her pants if I fell in love with a demon. (I'm not against religion I'm just against bigotry)

2. Venom Tongue - Need I say more?

3. Venom teeth - Again need I say more!?

4. Nyctophobia Cure - I am mildly scared of the dark but having them wrap me in their shadows very cautiously would help.

5. My petrified ass - I admit I'm the dumb bitch who scares herself into not sleeping. Having them comfort me because they're more active at night anyway would help.

6. Disembodied voice - look... I admit I am but a simp for voices. Whisper sweet (or spicy) nothings to me and I'll pass away.

And last

7. The Gull- Who would fuck with me!? I am all powerful because I'm fucking a demon!

Mary's Monstober 2020 - Day 5:Sirens

Why I would date a siren

1. Beauty - Listen looks don't matter and I stand by that and will take it to my grave. But in a world where my family isn't homophobic, my family can't say shit to me about how my girlfriend looks. They'll probably still compare me to her but they can't insult her. (Not that I'd let them)

2. Hardcore - Sirens lead men to their deaths! She will not take shit from anyone! You wanna say homophobic shit, guess what now you're in the middle of the sea and you don't remember getting there.

3. Swimming - I can't swim worth shit. Her presence and her natural power of calming people will help me feel comfortable in the water.

4. Singing - I am such an anxious person and sirens use their voice to lure their victims into a sense of security. She could literally calm me down by singing.

6. Soft chub - this depends on how people picture sirens or mermaids but I've seen a lot of art of plus sized sirens. I love the idea that sirens have various body types, including bodies with an healthy amount of chub. I wanna lay my head on her tummy and she can do the same to me because I'm not exactly skinny.

7. THIGHS - Really a continuation of 6, imagine her being infatuated with legs but specifically thighs. I have thick thighs and I want her to lay her head there so I can play with her hair.

Bonus reason

8. Eyes - Again this goes for a lot of beings but her eyes would be so beautiful and mystifying. Just looking her in the eyes and telling her how amazing she is.

Mary's Monstober 2020 - Day 3: Werewolf

So... this probably should've started off the month because I love them so much but I'll keep to just 7

Reasons I date a werewolf

1. Cuddles - Basically a giant dog. Who doesn't want cuddles from their lover?

2. Space heater - I have horrible fucking cramps so I need a space heater werewolf lover to place their hand on my tummy and rid me of pain.

3. Marking - this wraps up three of my favorite things: biting, possessiveness, and that feral kind of love.

4. Growling - This can go two ways. Either cute, they're growling at someone too close to you and being a territorial puppy. (Kiss their nose so cute) Or horny brain, y'all ever heard Ed Boscos growl in the Hunicast. Motherfucker it kills me everytime.

5. Clinginess - They're all pouty they need you with them. You left for five minutes. Where did you go? They're panicking! Until you come back with your drink and they pull in their lap all pouty.

6. immA skip but you proBably knOw what it is. (I think I'm clever and funny when I'm not)

And last

7. Nature walks - I need exercise and I love walking. They're on board 100% before I even finish the word 'walk'.

Orc for monstober

Mary's Monstober 2020 - Day 7: Orcs

1. Cottage core - I love little cabins and decorating or even building a cottage with my orc lover would be amazing. I'm not good at building though but the offer would be nice.

Orcish Cutie: *sees me nearly hit my eye with a hammer* Um... How about you help me with the windows later?

2. Bulldog resemblance - orcs look like bulldogs to me and I wanna kiss their face because of it. Just peck their forehead.

3. Bulky - They're very bulky and it's beautiful. I could hang off their bicep if I so choosed.

4. So friendly - They're depicted so mean because they look mean but they're so nice and have a big sense of family.

5. Family - I know that no matter what, if we had a kid, they would love them. That makes me wanna cry because that's all I want from my partner to love and appreciate the life we brought into this world.

6. Praise - I won't go into full detail because I am in more of a sappy mood than a horny one but praise is amazing. I am talking about the kink. Like I am obsessed with receiving it, even in very miniscule ways through names or phrases. Their soft deep voices are perfect for it. But I'd also be obsessed with giving it. They'd blush so much as I tell them how well they're doing and how much I appreciate them. A dark blush covers their green cheeks.

7. Opposites: So they look mean and tough, but are kind and soft. I look like a tea cup pomeranian, but will kill you. If I can get passed my anxiety. Someone just says some off-handed bullshit more to me than them bc they're afraid of them and I go off.

Driders for monstober

I don't know much about Driders and when I look them up for information, I only get dnd stuff so this is based on assumption and on spider facts

There will me an eighth reason because I found a funny fact

These are those spider dudes (I use the term dude as a gender neutral term)

Why I would date a drider

1. Fear - My whole family, including me, has an intense fear of spiders. They'll leave me the fuck alone while I'm with my spooky partner.

2. Research - This applies to a lot of supernatural beings but I'd ask a lot of questions about them. I'd just stare at their mandibles and their backside.

Drider cutie: *while smirking to themself* Don't you know it's impolite to stare

Me: You're mesmerizing and terrifying

3. Cute sleeping - So I don't really know the semantics of how they sleep but what I envision is their legs tucked to their sides and their spider part (I don't know spider anatomy, I am sorry) on the ground or a big bed or nest.

(Ok so I didn't want to take this out but I realize now that the only time a spider curls their legs in is if they're dead I don't know if this counts so I'll keep it in but I'll add another for 3)

3. Interesting bites - This goes in hand with research. I wanna know what a bite would look like. What does the wound look like? How many puncture points are there? Is it like a vampire where there's two defined puncture wounds or is it like a werewolf with a sharp bite all around?

4. Nests - Again more of a theory than a known fact but I figure Driders have nests. Pillows and soft webbing or slik. Look at me and tell me that doesn't make you soft imagining a drider curled up (or just sitting) with their lover in their cute nest.

5. Glasses - spiders are near sighted so by that logic so are Driders. A drider being stubborn as hell when it comes to glasses is cute. Would a drider wear glasses with 8 lenses or just two?

6. Shitty horror movies - there are SO many shitty horror movies about spiders and we could watch them and laugh together.

7. Fear of Lizards - lizards are natural predators to spiders. Now I know a huge drider won't be terrified of a pet lizard but I like the thought. Like if they instinctively did not like if I got a bearded dragon.

Drider Cutie : It's a monster!

Me: *looks at them for a good minute* You have eight eyes and the ass of a spider, not to mention mandibles and terrifyingly sharp teeth

Drider Cutie : Well at least I'm cute

And lastly

8. Creepy fact - certain species of male spiders want to be eaten by their mate. Like he puts himself in his mate's mouth and persists if she spits him out.

Like I knew females eat their mate and I just wouldn't bring it up and make a joke if she brought it up.

Cutie Drider (She/Her): Weren't you afraid I'd eat you?

Me: *deadpan* I was hoping you would. End my suffering.

But imagine the reverse

Cutie Drider (He/Him): *tries sticking his hand in my mouth*

Me: *pulls back* What the fuck?

Me: What? ... *Confused for a hot minute* No!

Also their blood is blue and that's a nice fact. (Don't quote me on either bc I looked up spider facts and it came up I might be wrong)

Mary's Monstober 2020 - Day 8: Aliens

Why I would date an alien

1. Anatomy - So I suck as biology and all that shit but I'd find it interesting to know how they're body works.

2. Tutor - Like I said I suck at science and their help is greatly appreciated.

3. Mutual Fascination - I would be astonished by them and all they do and they would feel them same.

Alien Cutie: What is that creature? *Points at my cat as she hisses at them*

Me: Oh that's a cat, her name is Gizmo and she's a bastard. Don't trust her. *Picks her up*

Me: Which one? Glamourous Strangers or terrifying monsters?

5. Learning experience - I would love to hear all about their life and how they're planet works. How their society runs. What brings them joy. Imagine cuddling with an alien as they reminisce about their home planet.

6. Advanced technology and Medicine - I have said this before, I have horrid cramps and to know they have something that numbs me to the pain but doesn't make me loopy when I need to focus would be pretty great.

7. Philosophical talks - I know that may sound stupid but I wanna know what they think of how our world is compared to thiers and the many other worlds they've seen.
