I went with "interesting reactions" rather than "favorites", but yes!! They do indeed end up quite gooey from the affection~ ;3c

He goes stiff as soon as you pull him into the hug, hands hovering uncertainly as he's not sure if he's allowed to return it or not. You're touching him, and the sheer amount of up-close contact has 89's face heating up and his brain shutting down. Praise only makes that worse; this is definitely supposed to be a reward, so he's allowed to enjoy it, right? The whole scenario is terribly awkward, but being hugged by Master still feels so very nice.

Mauser

Though he freezes up with confusion at first, it's mere seconds before Mauser is melting into your arms with a heavy, blissful sigh. It feels different like this, having you hold his human body instead of his gun, but his Master's grip is still the best source of comfort he can imagine. The praise leaves him shivering, and soon enough, he's trying to nuzzle into your chest while hardly aware he's doing it. It's instinctive to want to be closer to you.

Muku

I hope you're ready to hold him up, because Muku goes all but limp in your arms as soon as the hug registers. It's not deliberate, either; the affection just shorts out his brain badly enough that he can't manage to stay standing. By the time the praise starts, his mind is empty of everything but how nice it feels to be held. That means he barely hears you, unfortunately, but that might be for the better— he's overwhelmed enough already, just from the hug.

Gras

After a couple failed, stuttering attempts at a suave response, Gras goes silent. He's tense all over, barely breathing, and unsure of what to do to make this moment of affection last for as long as possible. At the same time that he'd rather not let you see how affected he is by a simple hug and words of praise, there's really no hiding it. And whatever it was that earned this nice of a reward, in the first place, he'll be desperately trying to repeat it.

Belga

He's a bit startled by the hug at first, but as soon as it clicks that you're just being affectionate, Belga latches on with every intent to stay there. He's small enough that you can carry him around for a while, right? So it's fine if he clings! He's not doing a very good job of staying still, but between the hug and the praise, he's so excited that you can hardly blame him for squirming. He'll be asking for more hugs from that point on, too. Or more like demanding.

Ever have a terrible Ninjago AU idea you know everyone will hate but you need to share it? Well that’s me right now, so watch out.

AU where Zane doesn’t lose his memory in the Never-Realm, yet still becomes the Ice Emperor we know and love today. Well not exactly. It goes the way it normally goes at first, but due to the damage from the fall, the ability to troubleshoot the mech is rendered impossible.

Zane, out of desperation, wanders off to try and find any sign of civilization. When meeting new people, Zane uses his cloaking ability. That’s also been damaged so it being a rural civilization, they don’t understand what he is and chase him off.

Vex who saw him uses the scroll sees him camping out near the village and “befriends” him and tries to convince him to do his bidding. In the end it works due to the corruption of the scroll.

Might write an ao3 fanfic about it for more detail.

Person A has a special memory curse/blessing that allows them to always but only remember people they’ve touched in some capacity (hug, handshake, etc.), and they see someone really attractive and nice seeming and so they try to get to know them, but Person B, the beautiful person, has a strong aversion to touch, and Person A knows they will forget them as soon as Person B leaves their sight if they don’t make some form of skin contact.

Legends say that, to this day, Cossak still doesn't want Rock to approach any of his electronic devices.

Yuichiro spent the next week making sure his son would be recognized as a navi by any programs and other cyber entities. Said son used this new ability to talk to any program in sight and made an impossible request to the print program - the programmed bugged. Cossak forbade him to ever approach the printer's network again. Later, Cossak banned him from all of his electronic devices and Yuichiro still doesn't know what Saito did for that. Saito doesn't know either.

(Obviously, it's not because of the vending machine incident. Only Netto knows about that one, right?)

This sounds like a very interesting story, wow. Okay, so for the sake of widened applicability, let's look at some prompts that involve all kinds of separation followed by memory loss. That way, you may find some more inspiration that can help pull you out of your plot hole:

“I’ve lived a great life. Not many people can say that, but for me, it’s actually true. I remember my parents, my friends, my amazing job, even that one time I broke my leg -- it’s all in my mind, clear as day. This life was mine, and that’s why having a stranger run up to me on the street and hug me for dear life, crying out a name that wasn’t mine confused the living hell out of me. They claimed I wasn’t me, that I had another life, and that they thought I’d died on the operating table last year when I suffered from brain cancer. The thing is, that never happened to me -- after all, I’ve always had a picture-perfect cybernetic brain, so how could a tumor have grown at all?” AU

Memory is a fickle thing. It can be manipulated through traumatic events, and this is most prevalent when considering cases of torture -- physical, mental, and emotional torture. When Character A was kidnapped, the last thing they expected wasn’t the pain inflicted upon them by their torturer, but having to endure falling in love with them through Stockholm Syndrome. So, when they were given the choice to forget that terrible experience and the love they had for the most manipulative individual they’d ever met, how could they refuse?

“I’ll never tell Character B this, but I lied. I remember them. I remember what happened to me, and I remember who they are...what they are. The reality of who they really were to me was hidden, but finally, I was shown the light. Character C helped me; they proved to me that Character B is nothing but a liar, a crook, and the most malicious type of narcissist, because they don’t even know they are one. I remember them, but I’m pretending I’ve forgotten them in the hopes that maybe -- just maybe -- I can escape their clutches if they realize they have to start from square one.” AU

Working as a biochemist had its perks, especially when you’re permitted to work from home. Character C’s long-time obsession, Character A, was simply in the wrong place at the right time, giving Character C the opportunity to trap them in their basement lab and run experiments on them. Through the manipulation of Character A’s natural body chemistry and pheromones, Character C causes Character A to lose their short-term memory when they aren’t in close contact with Character C. This was purely academic, of course, but that didn’t mean the outcome didn’t have its own special benefits.

“They thought Character A lost their memory due to trauma, citing their kidnapping as a horrific event that no one should be forced to remember. ‘It’s the worst thing that has ever or may ever happen to them,’ specialists said. ‘Let them forget. Don’t force it.’ So, we ignored it. We ignored it for months: forgetting what day it was, where the keys were, how spoiled the milk became -- it was just little things. Then, I called out Character A’s name. They didn’t respond. They just looked up at me with a blank stare. ‘Who?’” AU

“Mushrooms and other members of the mycelium species are fascinating creatures. They have an intrinsic neural network that connects them; you could even say they talk to one another without words. Because of this, they’re almost more empathetic than humans. So, it goes without saying that a connection to the mycelium would be revolutionary in the realm of science, botany, and the future of the human race. My life is a small price to pay, so implanting that experimental organic mycelium in my hippocampus wasn’t even a choice -- it was a necessity.” AU

After Character A is returned by their kidnapper unharmed, Character B is overwhelmingly thrilled. Physically, they seemed absolutely fine, if not a little shaken and confused. The doctors assured them that their memory would return over time, but as soon as they left the hospital, Character A grips Character B’s arm and stares at them with wide eyes: “I’m not Character A. They took them. I’m their twin. Please, help me.” AU

“I missed them so much. Character A was my entire life, so when they disappeared those 10 years ago, I very nearly lost my mind ; actually, it’d be more apt to say I lost my life. My job, my home, my family -- they were completely gone. Instead, I spent years roaming the streets and simply surviving, mourning a future I’d never have. Then, it happened. When I was digging through the dumpster at the department store, I found them. They were alive, my beautiful Character A. I held them close to my chest and wept with happiness. They laid there stiffly, almost as if they were made of plastic, but no matter -- we were together again. We’d live happily. After all, Character A looks like they have a new, permanent smile on their face, like it was painted on by Michelangelo himself.” AU

“Convincing myself to take up the knife was difficult, but isn’t every decision you make for the person you love hard? Character A was against the idea, but I did my research, and I know that this is the only way to get them back. They forgot who they were when that monster kidnapped them, so maybe -- just maybe -- I can get them back if I help them relive the moments where they became lost. This is for them as much as me; this will help them love me again.” AU

Necromancy is an art form, and Character C recognized this fact with a newfound appreciation when they saw Character A that day. This was their lost lover, Character D, but their body seemed to have the wrong soul inside. If anything, Character C would be doing them a favor if they released Character A’s soul from where it clearly didn’t belong. It’s not like anyone would care if they fixed such a glaring cosmic error.

Hello! I hope you’re doing well, I was just hyper fixating on your encanto fic “forget me not” and wondered if you had any plans to return to it.

If not, totally understandable! Fandoms and interests due all the time. But if the interest is really dead, is there anyway you could summarize the rest of the plot or ending? It’s asking for a lot but I’m so super curious to know what was suppose to happen next.

Memory au but the after? for L1, herme, fal, gras, murata, and mauser with a nice master >:) who was really sweet with them. they're reactions once they realize how needy and vulnerable (and in herme's case emotional) they were

Love1

He's conflicted. On one hand, Love1 hates that you saw him like that— scared, hurting, vulnerable, and too naive to hide any of it. On the other, you were kind even while he was utterly useless and failing to compensate for it. You know far too much, now, about how much pain he's in and what his limits are, but that's a temptation in itself. Now that he knows how much better he could feel with your help, it's hard to go back to his usual misery.

Herme

He's somewhere between humiliated and violently uncomfortable with the memories of how he was acting. Such emotional, human behavior is unacceptable coming from the perfect tool. ...and yet, you didn't punish him for it. You were every bit as kind to him when he was useless and flawed, and that's the part that distresses Herme the most. He'll try his best to move on and pretend like the whole incident never happened, to little success.

Fal

After spending so long in that altered state of mind, Fal is terribly behind on his work and panicking because of it. He can hardly believe he let himself be so trusting— even when he was new, surely, he couldn't have been so naive. Underneath the surface-level fear, though, Fal is even more horrified that you were still so kind. Even when he was failing at every standard he holds himself to, you didn't hurt him for it. Could he have stayed like that?

Gras

The resulting meltdown is ugly, even by the usual standards of Gras's rotten behavior. You saw the most raw, shameful parts of him, and actually tried to help— and it worked. He could have been better, and knowing that hurts like an open wound. He'll surely disappoint you soon enough now that he's back to normal, though, and the thought of losing the bliss of your love has Gras spiraling. He'll ruin everything on his own before you can take it away.

Murata

Knowing how vulnerable he made himself while not knowing any better doesn't sit well with Murata, at all. You were kind to him even then, but that doesn't make it any easier for him to process the memories of acting so clingy and weak. The stress of it has him slipping away from reality a bit— and doing everything he can to hide that, of course. He'll avoid you as much as possible in the aftermath, and fight every shameful instinct to stay by your side.

Mauser

The whole situation forces Mauser to face the previously inconceivable concept of life without Ashley's influence, and that turns out to be painful in ways he'd never have anticipated. Suddenly, he's aware of everything that was trained into him throughout his first Master's ownership, and much to his dismay, he's horrified. You were so very kind to him like that, and it makes him see how different he could have been if he was yours all along.

red vs blue au list (any could be altered - i've finish the shisno paradox trilogy but just haven't thought about anything past s15 yet lol)

evocation au - temple recovers church before s15 and is trying to recreate biff with him. church's memory is struggling and so the conflict is increased as the events of s15 carry out and are even warped with this new added twist. it is VERY chuckerboose-centric.

doomsday au - (started as a shitpost au and is still treated like one as a result, but has had some intense lore created for it to the point that i am invested in the plot beyond jokes. characters are most out of character in this one as a result.) essentially, something goes wrong with loco's time machine in the s15 finale and when the portal opens things go horrible wrong, and some kind of explosion goes off that transports tucker and caboose to another planet with no way of getting off or contacting the guys for the foreseeable future. the planet happens to be apocalyptic as hell and caboose swore he saw church before the blast rang out ... it is chuckerboose centric ... and, due to everything being so hectic, they call it planet doomsday.

downloaded au - delta was able to make a backup of himself during the freelancer saga, so why couldn't epsilon with the right hardware? essentially, caboose was paranoid of losing church again at some point in s13 before the latter half of the season. they find an old smartphone and decide to have caboose use his engineering skills to reinforce it and also give it ability to run on solar power - then, they make a backup of church into it. come the s13 finale, they happen to have church still! only...he is hardwired into a phone and they don't know how to get him out of it without damaging him and/or losing him. chuckerboose-centric. (and so it's a slight comedic au i got from the idea of church inhabiting a phone to send texts to tucker and caboose from inside.)

firewall au - extremely underdeveloped, but stemmed from the idea of felix in s13 being too fed up with hargrove that he plans to steal epsilon to use the meta suit for himself to kill the reds and blues all for his sadistic gain. maybe even threaten hargrove while he's at it and get his reward anyway. of course, this alters a lot of the latter half of s13 around. in this au, felix lives his fall and continues to affect the plot later on. chuckerboose and lolix are the focused ships of the au.

lighthouse au - maine survives after the s8 finale and somehow, with the help of washington and the reds and blues, finds himself with the blues alongside his former freelancer friend. it is mainewash-centric (of course, chuckerboose is there, though) and spends the earlier parts of the au following maine as he recovers from everything that went on as well as him trying to be himself again. by the time we reach s10, i imagine he has a wavering self control when it comes to epsilon that is focused on, but all in all, this au has mostly good endings and maine somehow makes things 100 times better by being there. church lives. what more could you want

memory au - it's the good ending to evocation, which is also my main "church lives" au. chuckerboose-centric as a result, but the concept is that everything from their adventures settles down and the reds and blues try to readjust to living on a colonized planet (either earth or something resembling it). there are some more trials and tribulations and such in this au, but as promised, it is a good ending and by the end of it, everyone lives happy domestic lives nearby each other and they remain friends. ("memory ending" is used to describe scenes from the end of the au that are completely domestic with none of the au's ongoing plot involved.)
