My Larry and adjacent characters master image so far.

Hank, Larry, Keeg, Negative Spirit, Rebis, Mercurius, Danny the Brick, Larry pushing strollers, orchids for Larry.

I'm probably going to do a better Mercurius (instead of just copying the Negative Spirit and making it the black with the yellow outline), definitely more Rebis images (and more Larry, of course<3), Keeg Bovo (comic), Valentina (comic because I want her with the bandages although I might give her like a greenish glow like her TV negative spirit), and Negative Girl from Teen Titans Go! (she's so silly). Maybe Eleanor? The problem with Eleanor is I'm not very good at realistic faces so we'll see. Ohh. I need to do Keeg in larval form, definitely.

I do also want to draw Larry from each comic iteration, maybe some based on appearances in other adaptations (maybe try pre-Doom Patrol Titans episode, the other Teen Titans cartoon, and uh the other few like cameos he's had in stuff idk). Also I guess other versions of Valentina, depending on how I'm feeling about actually drawing faces.

Magic Monday

Everyone, we’d like you all to meet Mercurius. He is a human wizard from the Shard of Esper on Alara. From an early age Mercurius exhibited an innate ability to control and mold etherium. When he came of age he was allowed to join the Ethersworn in their progress of the Noble Work. After a year with the organization Mercurius was granted an etherium heart for his attention to detail and the intricate designs he created.

Everything was going Mercurius’ way. With a slight control freak personality he reveled in his ability to mold the very world around him in the way he desired. When the Conflux occurred, Mercurius wasn’t prepared for the Shards to overlap and undo his work. This stress and defeat ignited his planeswalker spark and he traveled to Eldraine.

While there he meets a wide eyed merfolk with a fascination for human ‘artifacts’. Seeing the strange new world he was now a part of through the merfolk’s eyes woke something up inside Mercurius. He came to the realization that he can’t control everything and needs to accept the good with the bad.

anyway mercurius (he/they) is my fire genasi chronurgy wizard who got reoutfitted and reskinned after blowing up underneath an icewind dale town fighting an elder brain dragon

the original campaign he was built for and is now an npc for is very much greek myth inspired, hence the original outfit bearing some gentle outfit inspo (mostly from hades because that game is my entire and only personality trait)

...siiiiiiiiigggh... I originally told myself I wasn’t gonna, cuz they’re not important and I don’t really like them very much... but I couldn’t stop myself from getting Gundam Wing kits so... here we are, the Vaeyate and Mercurius... Suivant.  Yah they just both have that last name here.  These are “upgraded” forms from the G-Unit side story manga, a weird place in the Wing universe with a mechanical designer who reeeeeaaaally wished he was working on the UC...

I love the base Vaeyate and Mercurius, they’re some of my favorite “specialty” grunts of all gundam.  But man... the Suivant’s are just... gaudy.  For starters they should’ve been actually black and white, not very dark blue and weird off white slightly pink.  It would’ve made more sense seeing as “black and white” pairs off just like the originals’ “red and blue” colors did.  The lazy doubling up of their equipment looks dumb too imo, sure Suivant Vay now has TWO big guns but as you’ll see in a pic later side by side with normal Vay, the normal Vay’s gun just looks so much better.  Suivant Merc now has TWENTY freakin pods, and its just too much, and the standard attachment shape of a giant obtrusive X on its back just makes it stand out like a sore thumb.  Also VAY for some reason has an optional equipment of two giant containers to hold more of MERCS pods... okay...

The kits are fine as model kits, and due to all their gear it at least feels like you’re getting a bunch for shelling out for this p-bandai double pack.  But they aint got a thang on my OG vay and merc.  Hell even Vay Suivant’s got a big X for a silhouette due to the way his two guns are supposed to be kept behind him... so many X shaped silhouette’s lately.  Anyway, lots of pics under the cut cuz its two bois.
