I know everyone fighting is just relieved and glad that Shouto managed to stop Dabi, but I just really appreciate All Might and Shoji for acknowledging the deeper parts of this section of the battle and understanding the gravity of the situation—that it wasn’t just ‘Shouto the hero’ taking down ‘Dabi the villain’, it was two brothers, Shouto and Touya, at the heart of it having to discuss family issues in a public forum while physically and verbally fighting each other over it

Today’s chapter features Mina being pretty while someone flips her vengeance switch,

Bakugo being pretty while his faith in his classmate pays off,

Shoji being pretty while he expresses how proud he is of Todoroki,

and Iida losing his glasses to be pretty while supporting a spent Todoroki, who for once is taking a short break from being pretty. Just, give him a moment, it won’t last.

I guess everyone had to pull a little extra weight to keep up the general attractiveness quota since Todoroki was so busy.

Most likely an unpopular opinion, but this panel was the most stand out in the chapter, and probably one of the saddest in the whole story. Spinner is a character that has had his self-esteem completely destroyed and ripped apart basically his whole life. His internal self worth is nonexistent. To see a character look at themselves and believe they are ‘nothing’ is not a fantastic and dramatic tragedy, it’s real. It’s a view anyone can have of themselves, to believe themselves so small and insignificant, and it hit far too close to home for me.

When people believe they are worth nothing they end up suffering for nothing.

The only way I could accept that the sphere of light on Dabi's chest is something dangerous is if and only if it won't kill him, but instead Iida gets to use his quirk to get Dabi somewhere safe and in the process saves him.

Only because that would fulfill the narrative of Iida being able to save Shouto's older brother the way he wanted to protect his own older brother back on the Stain arc.

Iida has been there. He felt the pain of seeing his older brother hurt and desperate, seeing his older brother with a chronic or lifetime condition that separated him from the hero life he wanted. And while Shouto and Dkeu helped Iida back then, Iida was able to return the favor to Deku but he is currently doing the same for Shouto.

Iida basically meaning "this is important to you so I will protect it, because I can relate to you, because I feel your pain" by saving Touya?

Amazing.

Guys I seriously doubt Dabi's got a bomb in him please calm down. Not saying it's impossible but it doesn't seem likely. Let's go over some things

We KNOW Dabi doesn't trust AFO. So it's not likely he would voluntarily let him implant ANYTHING in him like Nagant did. he isn't under a contract and he wouldn't agree to something that ties him down like that because he always had his own goals in mind. He didn't even accept a new quirk from AFO Also the light in his chest doesn't look that similar to what happened to Nagant.

Here's a comparison:

"But Azure" you say. "What about when he was in the kindergarten?" If AFO put a bomb in him then, don't you think ujiko would have used that as leverage to keep him there? And if he did have a bomb then don't you think they would have blown him up when he ran away to keep him from telling people about the facility?

Also, from what I've seen and heard it kind of looks like his skin is growing back but idk for sure yet because of the image quality.

To cover up the insane theories people have about Dabi, here are some highly unlikely ones that are more enjoyable to think about when once is in the right state of mind for pure satire:

Dabi goes to another state of the matter and becomes pure gas. Nothing can harm him, except a vacuum, (is that the name in English for aspiradora? Who knows).

Dabi becomes a being of pure light and goes the rest of the manga as a human-star.

Dabi gets a screen in his chest like some sort of Teletubbie and it starts playing Never Gonna Give You Up.

Dabi gives birth to a mini-Dabi via light in his chest, in the same fashine Athena came out of Zeus.

Dabi sneezes a ray of light that travels to space and kills Endeavor immediately.

Someone opens a portal in Dabi chest and it's the start to the bnha multiverse.
