我聽過很多朋友跟我分享說，他們醒著的時候很痛苦，因為要維持某一種「正常人」的形象，至少不是自己放鬆的樣子，但睡覺的時候更痛苦，因為白天那些所有的壓抑，所有的憤怒，所有的受不了，都形成一個又一個的惡魔，在夜裡面不斷的侵蝕、啃咬著他們的人生，所以睡覺也累，醒來也累，完全沒有任何可以休息的機會。

有時候我會想，會不會我們一生就是會這樣，會反覆的傷害自己，或是反覆讓自己感到疼痛，然後再反覆的包紮。像是我會摳自己的手指角質皮，有的人會用刀片自殘等等。我們可能沒有辦法像其他人的人生一樣有雙乾凈無暇、光鮮亮麗的手，但是這個一個又一個的印記、坑坑巴巴的洞穴，也是我們每一次每一次，奮戰下來的證明：我們經歷過了很多痛苦，但是我們最後活下來了，這個活下來本身就是一只「英雄勳章」，所以我每次在看著我這些傷口，然後再去包紮他們的時候，我就想像是我幫自己貼了一個勳章，這是活過來的一個證明。
