GOVERNMENT OF IRAQ MOVES TO END U.S. OCCUPATION PRESENCE
The Iraqi government will move to end the presence of the U.S.-led coalition occupation in Iraq, according to the Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani.
Al-Sudani made the comments at a joint press conference with the visiting Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez on Thursday, Dec. 28th.
Al-Sudani said the topic was broached during his meeting with Sanchez, during which they discussed the details of the presence of the international coalition in Iraq.
"We appreciate the role of the coalition in supporting Iraq's efforts to confront the Islamic State militants," Al-Sudani said.
"The Iraqi government is in the process of rearranging the relationship with the international coalition in light of the presence of capable Iraqi forces," said the Iraqi prime minister, stressing that "the Iraqi government is moving toward ending the presence of the international coalition forces, which include security advisers who support the security forces in the areas of training, advice, and intelligence cooperation."
The two leaders discussed in depth the difficult situation in the Middle East, including the ongoing Israeli genocide of Palestinians in Gaza. Al-Sudani said he appreciated Spain's role and its "courageous stance in condemning these attacks."
Sanchez, for his own part, expressed his country's desire to develop relations with Iraq, in particular the fields of transportation, education, climate change, and defense.
The Spanish Prime Minister also met with the Iraqi President, Abdul Latif Rashid, to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation, and the need to end the genocide in Gaza.
Spain is part of the U.S.-led international coalition tasked with training and advising Iraq's Security Forces in its fight against the radical islamic group, ISIS.

Hamas rejected a draft truce with Israel
Palestinian movement representatives have refused to accept the terms of a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip proposed at peace talks in Paris, Arab Media reported.
Arab TV channels are reporting live:
“The agreement in Paris included a prisoner exchange but completely ignored the ceasefire and withdrawal from Gaza, while the resistance forces consider these issues key.”
Israel had previously agreed to a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. However, the text of the agreement does not restrict the IDF from carrying out airstrikes on Palestinian territories and does not provide for the withdrawal of Israeli troops.
A new meeting on the situation in Gaza will be held soon in Cairo. Hamas will be briefed on the outcome, after which a final response will be given.

The Islamic Republic Executed 3 more Protesters This Morning
The regime has executed more than a hundred of kurd, baloch and Arab activists in the last few months, all of them under false or ambiguous charges. Habib Asivad, an Arab rights activists who was kidnapped from turkey and brought to Iran by the regime, was one of the recent ones.
This morning the regime executed 3 more protesters who has been arrested during the nation wide Jîna revolution. They were tortured and forced to confess to a murder they didn't commit. In fact, there's a document that shows the murder was the regime guards doing. typical.
Tumblr media
The three political prisoners wrote from jail on Wednesday urging the people to stop their execution.
Describing themselves as "children of Iran" in the letter, the three prisoners said: "Hello. We ask our dear fellow citizens not to let them kill us. We need your help. We need your support.
On Sunday night, demonstrators had gathered outside the prison hoping to stop the feared hangings. Campaigners say the prisoners were tortured into confessions, and there is no reliable evidence against them. -Iran International News
As it was mentioned, people tried to stop the execution by protesting and gathering in front of the prison and it was postponed but at the end the regime executed them anyway.
Meanwhile Iran has been chosen to chair the UN Human Rights Council 2023 Social Forum. This is not a joke anymore, it's the tragedy of western human rights. Apparently murdering your people for protesting grants you a human rights council chair in west.

RAFAH, Gaza Strip (AP) — More than half a million people in Gaza — a quarter of the population — are starving, according to a report Thursday by the U.N. and other agencies that highlights the humanitarian crisis caused by Israel’s bombardment and siege on the territory in response to Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack. The extent of the population’s hunger eclipsed even the near-famines in Afghanistan and Yemen of recent years, according to figures in the report. The report warned that the risk of famine is “increasing each day,” blaming the hunger on insufficient aid entering Gaza. “It doesn’t get any worse,’’ said Arif Husain, chief economist for the U.N.’s World Food Program. “I have never seen something at the scale that is happening in Gaza. And at this speed.” ... At the start of the war, Israel stopped all deliveries of food, water, medicine and fuel into the territory. After U.S. pressure, it allowed a trickle of aid in through Egypt. But U.N. agencies say only 10% of Gaza’s food needs has been entering for weeks. (Dec. 21, 2023 | Source)

Iran-backed Hezbollah fires dozens of missiles towards Northern Israel
Lebanon-based Hezbollah which is resisting the Israeli attack on Gaza after Hamas’ assault of October 7 last year has reportedly fired dozens of missiles on Northern Israel, reports said, adding that the motto is to deplete the Jewish nation’s much-touted Iron Dome interceptors. Sirens blared during the incident, triggered by both the rocket launches and the falling debris from interception…

💥ISRAELI OCCUPATION FORCES CONTINUE TARGETING SOUTHERN LEBANON AS SKIRMISHES WITH HEZBOLLAH CONTINUE💥
📹 The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) continues with its bombing and missile campaign targeting the south of Lebanon, ostensibly targeting Hezbollah forces in the area but instead killing civilians along the border with occupied Palestine.
The IOF released video earlier today showing the above airstrike which targeted a residential home in the south of Lebanon, killing a Lebanese-Australian citizen Ibrahim Bazzi, his wife and his brother.
Occupation authorities claimed the home was a Hezbollah Forces headquarters, but in reality targeted the Bazzi family home which included Ibrabim's brother who was a Hezbollah member.
This event typifies Israeli Occupation strikes, which target individual resistance members in their homes, at the cost of killing or wounding their entire families.

There is only one way to end the crisis in Palestine, the creation of a palestinian state!
The post is machine translated
Translation is at the bottom
The collective is on telegram
🌸 Iscriviti 👉 @collettivoshaoshan 😘
😘 ZHANG JUN: STOP THE HUMANITARIAN CRISIS, PROMOTE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN INDEPENDENT AND SOVEREIGN STATE OF PALESTINE 🇵🇸
🤔 We can look at the world from the perspective of the West, through the artificial vision of "democracies against autocracies", based on division, on unfair competition, on war and on continuing to throw fuel on the fire of conflicts, or with that of China and other Developing Countries, according to the Project of the Community with a Shared Future (人类命运共同体), recognizing that Humanity (人类, rénlèi) has a Common Destiny (命运共同, mìngyùn gòngtóng), and that Cooperation is the correct path to achieving Common Prosperity (共同富裕) ❤️❤️
😘 Faced with the Palestinian issue, every responsible country must work for peace and for a concrete and sustainable resolution in the long term, which resolves the historical injustice suffered by the Palestinian people 🇵🇸
🇨🇳 Comrade Zhang Jun - Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations, spoke during an Emergency Security Council Meeting, noting that this new cycle of conflict is causing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis 😭
🇮🇱 Due to Israel's bombings, civilians have been murdered, as well as United Nations personnel. Photographs and videos of Israel's brutal punitive actions against the Palestinian People are now imprinted in people's minds 😡
🤮 Meanwhile, for days, the West has carried forward a false news story about "children beheaded by HAMAS", complete with an admission of guilt by those who spread such an aberration, photos and videos of crimes against the Palestinian population committed by Israeli armed forces have spread across the internet 😭
🤔 Honestly, my response to any Westerner who from now on attempts, from the "pedestal" of his ignorance, to criticize the Chinese Internet or Chinese journalism, without - among other things, knowing it, given that not knowing even a character does not he might not even do a little research, he will no longer receive an in-depth answer, but just a laugh 👍
🤔 Is it China that wants to ban pro-Palestine demonstrations? Is it China that spreads fake news aimed at promoting false ideas, creating false parallels between jihadist-Salafi terrorist organizations and resistance movements in Palestine? I do not think. Honestly, the Chinese have much more knowledge and understanding of what terrorism really is than some bored Westerners steeped in anti-Chinese, anti-Muslim and anti-Palestinian prejudices: the Turkistan Islamic Party, the East Turkistan Islamic Movement who have terrorized Xinjiang for years. IS-KP attacks in Afghanistan against Chinese personnel in August 2022. Uyghur jihadist-Salafi terrorism support for anti-Assad terrorist organizations in Syria. This is real terrorism 😡
🇨🇳 China is seriously concerned about the painful repercussions of Israel's "complete siege" of Gaza, and Zhang Jun called on Israel to listen, once and for all, to the calls of the International Community, and to stop the atrocious punishment operations collective against Gaza 🕊
🇺🇳 There are more UN Resolutions of Condemnation against Israel than against any other country in the History of the United Nations, but a handful of countries, including Israel, always tend to escape the consequences of their actions, as International Law comes into play every day trampled by the so-called "rules-based international order", of US origin 😡
🇨🇳 While Chinese diplomats work tirelessly to build the foundations for a political solution to the Palestinian issue, through the establishment of an independent and sovereign State of Palestine, it is necessary to promote the construction of a Gaza Humanitarian Corridor, to help the population 🇵🇸

Iran reserves right to respond to Israeli threat – envoy
Iranian Ambassador to the United Nations Saeed Iravani categorically rejected on Thursday the accusations against Iran made by his Israeli counterpart at the UN.
Iravani stated that in a letter from Israel’s representative to the United Nations dated 22 February, 2024, and addressed to the President of the Security Council, Israel’s top diplomat “resorted to lies, spread misinformation, and leveled unfounded allegations against the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
The Iranian envoy stressed that the letter constituted “yet another cynical attempt” to divert the attention of the international community from “the ongoing egregious atrocities and acts of genocide” committed against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. He also accused Israel of attempting to cover up and “legitimise” Israel’s actions against Lebanon and “continual breaches of international law, the United Nations Charter, and UNSC Resolutions 1559 (2004) and 1701 (2006) by leveling unfounded allegations against Iran.”

(Note: See updated post) The new DRAFT U.N. Resolution, set to be voted on today, calls for:
• ... “urgent and extended humanitarian pauses” in the fighting throughout Gaza and the opening of corridors inside the enclave “for a sufficient number of days to enable full, rapid, safe and unhindered humanitarian access.” • U.N. Secretary General António Guterres to appoint a senior coordinator “with responsibility for facilitating, coordinating, monitoring, and verifying in Gaza, as appropriate, the humanitarian nature” of all assistance, and demands that “the parties to the conflict cooperate with the coordinator to fulfill their mandate without delay or obstruction.” • ... “immediate and unconditional” release of the hostages. It also demands that “all parties to the conflict comply with their obligations under international law ... including with regard to the conduct of hostilities and the protection of civilians and civilian objects.” • It reiterates the council’s “unwavering commitment” to a two-state solution for Israelis and Palestinians and “stresses the importance of unifying the Gaza Strip with the West Bank under the Palestinian Authority.” (12/22/23 | Source: WaPo)
Although the resolution's language was toned down, this is a sign of progress. While such measures are long overdue and should have been honored from the start, we must do everything possible to meet the urgent humanitarian needs in Gaza and relieve unfathomable suffering.
DON'T STOP POSTING. KEEP UP THE PUBLIC PRESSURE. DEFEND HUMAN RIGHTS.
Stay tuned for today's vote.
