Since I’m sad that otome games don’t have English dubs when they get realeased in the west, I’ve decided to do English fan casts to alleviate the pain. (I get that they’re a niche genre, but let me have this)

Code Realize, Hakuoki, and Amnesia will have the same voice actors from their English dubs. One of the exception is Toma, since his voice actor is unfortunately dead. I would replace Toma’s voice actor with Mike Haimoto. Another exception is Sanosuke Harada’s voice actor since he’s been blacklisted and arrested due to grooming a 16 year old and marrying her in 2014. He’s already been replaced by Phil Hayes in the Hakuoki movies, so he’ll stay.

I’m not doing Collar X Malice at the moment since it’s getting a movie adaptation this year, and (hopefully) it will inevitably get an English dub. If it doesn’t, then I’ll do it on the future. 

The heroines are all voiced in English as well because I say so lol.

Number.41.5 ID5 Forever

Taiga is haunted by the memory of ID5's last mission, which saw the loss of all but one of his comrades. He is shocked to receive a message from former teammate Pink Cougar.

Taiga and Leo discuss business, he has Hyuma investigating the message, he is asking Leo about the ID suits when Swan interrupts, he subsequently takes GunGlue out.

Taiga goes to the meeting spot, shocked to meet with Kuga Momoko, the former Pink Cougar, who he thought dead 10 years ago, Hyuma bursts in and is overjoyed to see her.

10 years ago ID5 consisted Gold Tiger; Taiga Kotaro, Silver Puma; Hyuma Geki, Blue Monkey; Entoji Koichi, father of Kyosuke, Black Crow; Karasuke, an escaped Bionet cyborg, and Pink Cougar; Kuga Momoko. Their 96th mission involved the Jupiter-X that returned from Jupiros-1, which Bionet had managed to hijack. In turn Karasuke and Koichi were lost, Hyuma held the Bionet soldiers off to let the others keep going, then when they found Jupiter-X it exploded, and Momoko seemed lost in the blast.

The two both want to know where she's been these last 10 years, especially as they searched for her. Momoko reveals she kept up the fight after foreign agents saved her, working with them, while Taiga eventually married and Hyuma worked with US Special Forces. Momoko has got back in contact as Jupiter-X has resurfaced. Neither of them are prepared to ignore this going into action directly, despite Hyuma protesting Taiga has GGG duties to focus on.

Using GunDober to travel to Velocenia, on the flight Hyuma and Momoko talk, and are then shot down by Bionet cyborgs, Hyuma on being asked why he never married basically admits he loved her. Taiga catches up with GunGlue, having gotten ahold of their ID Suits for them. They fight off Bionet Dinosaur men, with difficulty. Taiga believes THE POWER is in Jupiter-X, which is how Bionet have created their weapons. Another monstrosity attacks, Momoko using a Pink Bomb to try and destroy it.

Taiga awakens with Momoko, separated from Hyuma. As they're attacked again, they find a secret entrance to Bionet's lair. They're promptly confronted Bionet leader Professor Mozman, who mocks them. They attack together, in the midst of battle Momoko suddenly runs off. Hyuma reaches Taiga after. They find her attacking Mozman, but she then falls under Mozman's control, Bionet having made her into a cyborg after the attack. She is dependent on Mozman for maintenance, but believes Jupiter-X will allow her to control her destiny. She acquires it's power, and starts to lose control, destroying Mozman, the others are forced to oppose her as her body starts to fall apart. She regains herself enough to tell them to run as an explosion rocks the area.

Hyuma and Taiga survive, and are recovered by GaiGar StealthGao Mode, and left to mourn Momoko all over again. When they return, Mamoru and Mikoto are shocked by the sight of them, messed up as they are, but find encouragement with the GGG members.

Magical Initiative: Walpurgisnacht trailer

A trailer for the fourth (but not the last) Magical Initiative movie, inspired by the 1st Endgame trailer.

Oriko: Is this thing on?

(She pauses.)

Oriko: Hello there. My name is Oriko Mikuni. If you’re hearing this, it means I am now dead.

(Shot of Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask greeting the Starlights and Sailor Kinmoku [Princess Kakyuu]. Luna and Artemis stand in human form nearby.)

Oriko (v/o): But I have foreseen much of what is to come after I am gone.

(Shot of Aguri Madoka comforting Yuma Chitose. They are joined by Kyoko, who is carrying a bag of steaming hot buns. Shots of the Sailor Senshi, Symphogear squad, Smile Cures, and Mew Mews interacting with the purified Gertrud, HN Elly, Elsa Maria, and Patricia, respectively.)

Oriko (v/o): Thus, I have made these recordings so you will be prepared.

(Shot of Westar, Soular, Marmo, Ira, and the Dokkashi approaching Alyssa Searrs and Miyu Greer in a park. As the former servants of Moebius and Deep Blue engage Miyu in conversation, Marmo and Ira crouch down to where Alyssa is sitting, Marmo holding out a small blob of purple and yellow energy that continuously changes form.)

Oriko (v/o): You deserve to know the whole truth about the Incubators.

(Shot of multiple silver-black wormlike creatures looking up at an enormous three-headed, gem-encrusted monster resembling a chimeric hybrid of snake, beetle, and moth—the Incubator queen. Cut back to the video.)

Oriko: And more importantly, how to end the suffering they cause—permanently.

(The video pauses as the camera zooms out, revealing several silhouetted figures watching. Cut to a crowd of people standing on a riverbank, placing small paper boats carrying candles into the water. At the same time, the background music changes, becoming more ‘an epic battle is about to begin’ in tone.)

Hibiki (v/o): We drove the Incubators away, but at a great cost.

(Shots of various girls holding swiftly blackening Soul Gems. Some are trying to clean them with Grief Seeds, but the taint keeps building no matter how many seeds they use.)

Fate (v/o): Every Puella Magi we didn’t save...is now an Eldritch witch.

(Shots of different Puella Magi collapsing lifelessly, their Soul Gems turning to Grief Seeds as new Eldritch witches emerge in droves.)

Yuna (v/o): So much was lost because of their lies.

(Shot of Vita and Signum sparring with Kyoya and Miyuki Takamachi. Despite being new to Mid-Childan magic, Nanoha’s siblings are proving surprisingly adept.)

Mami (v/o): But at the same time, for all they stole away...

(Cut to Mami, Kyoko, and Nagisa, all possessing traits of their witch forms, speaking to a group of other purified Eldritch witches. Among them is Carola, AKA Kazumi Subaru, who is passing out tea and strawberry tarts to the others.)

Homura (v/o): ...they may have given us the key to destroying them.

(Shot of the Go Princess Cures face to face with Mai Tokiha, Mikoto Minagi, and Natsuki Kuga. After a moment, Cure Flora and Mai take each other’s hands, all present wearing looks of grim determination.)

Cure White (v/o): This war isn’t over yet.

(Shot of the Regalia trio, the girls from Asunaro and Hoozuki, and the Fresh Cures in their civilian forms watching what looks like a mass of storm clouds on the horizon. As the camera zooms in on it, however, the form of a certain super-Eldritch becomes somewhat visible.)

Translating NORN9: The Girls Game Bios

Welcome back to “Translating NORN9”, where I translate NORN9 content!

Today I’m going to be translating Koharu, Mikoto and Nanami’s bios, as well as the remarks about them from the game’s director, Miss Ayane Ushio.

Note that I won’t be translating the girls statistics since I already translated them in the form of their anime bios.

Koharu’s Bio

The girl who forgot her name

She is a polite, pure and cheerful girl. She has been living alone for a long time and has forgotten her own name because no one called her by it. She is also naive because she has never been involved with other people. She has taught herself how to communicate with others by reading books on etiquette, because she does not want to be disliked. Her ability to manipulate "flames" is by far the most powerful of all her abilities.

Miss Ayane Ushio’s Comment on Koharu

“She is a fragile looking girl who at first glance makes you want to protect her, but she is the most mentally stable of the three heroines. She is kind to others and sometimes strictly disciplined, and is essentially a mother figure. She starts out ignorant and afraid of her pyrokinesis abilities, but as she learns to love, she uses her power to protect those she cares about. Her love story with Kakeru, Senri, and Masamune does not end in marriage, but as it progresses toward its conclusion, we see her grow from a young girl into a motherly young woman.”

A goddess on a mission

A girl who was born into a noble family and has a noble demeanor. Because she was raised with great care, she has a somewhat haughty attitude, but her sense of responsibility is stronger than others. Although she is often strict with those around her, she has always been a compassionate individual and seems to be particularly concerned about her fellow girls, Koharu and Nanami. Due to her past experiences in protecting various things with her ability to create barriers, she is also adept at handling her ability.

Miss Ayane Ushio’s Comment on Mikoto

“At first, I wanted to make her a strong girl, but growing up in an environment where she couldn't rely on anyone made her worry about whether she could really become strong. As a result, she continued to play the role of a strong girl, and became a girl who had lost sight of her true self. However, once you get past the point of hatred, you will begin to feel a sense of love. She is a girl who cannot say what she really feels without crying, so I always want to tease her. Natsuhiko, Sakuya, Itsuki, and others who liked her have a wide range of capabilities.”

Nanami’s Bio

A girl who is not good at expressing her emotions

A silent girl with doll-like beauty. She comes from a family of shinobi that has been around since ancient times, has great physical ability, and always carries a kunai with her. Since she isn’t good at expressing herself and has few words to say, so she tends to be seen as emotionless. In addition, her senses may be out of sync with other people's, and she may surprise those around them with her mysterious behavior. Although she likes cooking, Akito often scolds her because she and Heishi make “amazing things” and end up wasting food.

Miss Ayane Ushio’s Comment on Nanami

“In contrast to Koharu and Mikoto, who were more expressive, Nanami is a girl who thinks more than she speaks. Although she often has a cold expression on her face, she tends to be passive in everything, and out of the three of girls, she may be the type you want to protect the most. Akito and Heishi can't help but take care of people, so they care about Nanami. Ron is drawn to the dark side of her. In each of their respective stories, the main point is for her to be able to speak in her own words.”
