thank you to my patreons for the feedback and suggestions in chapter one! moving on to finishing all this Patreon content and specials that ive been working on this month and will be released throughout the rest of the month.

8 April 2024: Ishari Tier Patrons ($15)

11 April 2024: Vinia Tier Patrons ($10)

16 April 2024: Cyre Tier Patrons ($5)

23 April 2024: Nomad Tier Patrons ($2)

New to the update:

Added around 37K of code and words. Word count will probably range between 30-35K;

Added more name options at the beginning of the game;

A late-night chat with Zikar (optional);

The Vinia family one-on-one scenes;

A memorial ceremony (optional) to honour Yara and Ahlf;

Dialogue scenes with Rana; and

Choose to give Rana her gift (based on earlier decisions).

This is the family portion of the chapter, so you'll not get any RO scenes this time. It mostly deals with the arrival of the Vinia family in Ishari, so if the family or Rana doesn't interest you, I suggest waiting for the next (and final) portion of Chapter 9's update.

Hello! I hate to be one of those buggy people but are you planning on continuing A Tale Of Spirits or is it an unfinished work?

I am! I've actually been working on it recently. I'm finishing up a batch of chapters so I should be good to post soon. Chapter 18 is done, Chapter 19 is basically done and Ch 20-21 are fighting back a bit in edits.

The only reason why I haven't posted a sneak of ch 18 is because I don't want to give anything away.

Mini Update

Hi all, this update only covers part of chapter 4. While I did have abt half of chapter 4 written, I was having a lot of coding issues and wanted to put out at least some kind of an update before Christmas.

It's about 10k words, give or take. Not much I know, I'd planned for it to be more, but again, coding got in the way. In this update, the you can:

Progress Update

Hiiiii y’all been a bit, hasn’t it?

Quick update for everyone: chapter two is still being worked on at the moment, I’ve gotten the majority of the way through the chapter, but some parts need tweaking before I can wrap up the tail end scenes. Once I have more together, closer to the end of the chapter, I’ll be opening up beta reader applications again so 👀 keep an eye out for those.

MIni update time, because why not. (No I'm not procrastinating my uni assignments...I would never!)

So demo still under way. I've got a good chunk done so far. I'm finding doing the coding as I move along in the writing to be the best method for me atm.

Still deciding if I should just add the stats now or later. Also, I'm taking any suggestions for customization options, especially what outfits you want MC to be able to wear. So feel free to drop them in comment or ask box.

I'm already writing up some of the kinktober / flufftober scenarios. Can also leave suggestions for those.( I would love to say demo is coming end of this month but not likely thanks to uni/internship. Just know I'm working on it! TBD if I shorten the demo and get it out sooner rather than later.

I've also gotten some questions about Cam, and how he feels about MC. I've made a post some while ago. For those who do want to romance someone besides Cam, feel free to. Cam is the best wingman, he will support MC and accept their feelings. You want him to be your best man, maid of honor? He will do it all! He will even support some of the RO's in romancing you. (Though some he truly questions.)

Either way, would like to thank all of you for the love and support of the story/characters. It truly means a lot. Can't wait for you all to get to enjoy the angst story together.

Well, well, well, would you look at this. its an update. its only part one of chapter seven. i decided to upload it in multiple parts. Anyway, what can you do?

the reason why I haven’t is BCS I have been sick and other personal stuff happened that took me out of the mood to write

I wont force myself to write like this, but I did still feel bad for not being as far as I hoped I would

so to take off the feeling of being a useless writer, breaking and releasing it in parts just makes the most sense for my situation

Hi babes, It’s been about a week since I’ve been on or posted anything in general. I’m sorry for not posting often like I wanted too. I feel like I let people down for not posting, I’m sorry. I wouldn’t call it a burn out necessarily but my focus is on other things right now. I can’t sit down and write without my attention averting to something else at this time. This coming week I took a full week off of work to care for myself and do things I wanna do along with prepping for my second term of nursing school and take care of some Christmas shopping. Writing is something I enjoy doing and being able to share it with people makes me happy to do so. I don’t want to force myself to write almost making it like a chore that’s what I want to avoid. Then it becomes less enjoyable for me. I want it to come natural. If it happens this week I will gladly post a writing. I hope everyone is doing well. Sending you all lots of love.
